Vault was located outside the urban area. Far away in the forest, to be precise, where there were no metal deposits or anything worth mining.
When Ava and Tina joined Zane Amara Moze Fl4k and Axton, they went deeper eliminating the guards.
Tina threw several grenades into the air and Ava caught them with her power and threw them at the groups of guards, the grenades detonated and the guards turned to dust.
Amara jumped into the air and hit the ground with all her arms, sending the guards flying, several falling into the abyss.
Zane and Axton were covering each other, Zane's drone and Axton's turret wreaking havoc on the ranks of the guards.
Moze deftly dodged arrows and blades, holding her knife in one hand and her pistol in the other, stabbing and firing alternately.
Fl4k fired his sniper rifle from a high position while ordering his pets to attack those he couldn't hit.
When the guards had finished, they came to a large hall. It was quite large with several pillars supporting the ceiling, and of course there was a gate to the crypt, and two corridors on the sides. Amara and Zane went left and Fl4k and Moze went right.
Axton Tina and Ava stayed in the main hall.
- Where did you lose Gaige? Ava asked

Axton made his way through the snow behind the others to Claptrap's hideout, leaning against a shipping container for protection from the wind, even the weather seemed to be against them.

He drew his hatchet and hit the lock to open it, when the steel door opened he saw a young... and quite attractive... girl. She wore a T-shirt with a skull mostly hidden under a blue vest, her hair in two ponytails, skirts, and striped tights, one arm was robotic.
She stood huddled up, trying to keep warm, shaking like a drug addict on hunger.
Axton didn't think for a second, took off his jacket and put it on the girl's shoulders, then picked it up and started running after the others. The girl did not resist at all.
Claptrap opened the door the moment he reached them, everyone parted to let him pass.
Axton placed the girl under the stove itself, she sat motionless, absorbing the heat.

Axton nodded.

Axton stood up and disappeared behind one of the pillars.

Then, from both corridors, the others came back, carrying both halves of the key, it was shaped like a heart. Ava activated the key and the portal opened. And to their surprise, nothing showed up.
- Vault without a guard?... Ava started... Strange.
- Actually. Axton said as he entered the portal followed by the others.
The artifact they found was in the shape of a cylinder with a rounded end and a flat bottom.
Ava and Tina said their goodbyes and headed back to town while the others went to return the artifact to Tannis.
- What are we doing now? Ava asked.
Tina wanted to say something but yawned heavily.
- Let's go back to the sanctuary... She said... I dream to fall asleep in your arms.
