A/N- I just want to say thank you for all the support on the first chapter. Its my first time ever writing something like this so to see all the Favourites and Follows really makes me happy!

Harry quickly sat up, startled by his sudden realisation. He was sitting on a cold stone floor, the only protection from a bitter sea breeze coming through the window was a pile of oversized clothes that had been passed down to him from his cousin Dudley. Despite only having a few months difference in age, one would think Harry was three years Dudley's junior. Although that is to be expected considering the disparity in portion sizes they were given. But despite all of that Harry was secretly excited. In a few minutes he would be turning 11 years old. Harry had never really been one to celebrate his birthday, In fact it wasn't until the school nurse had asked him for his birthday when he was 9 that he even found out when it was. The School Nurse had been one of the only people that had been there for Harry as he had gone through primary school, it probably helped that he saw her almost every single day for one reason or another. All the students at his school stayed away from him, they hadn't at first but Harry had a suspicion that Dudley and his gang had something to do with it. The teachers weren't much better, sometimes it felt like they were only encouraging the bullies rather than preventing them. They got in their fair share of snide remarks as well; whenever Harry got something wrong they would always remind him of his first day when he had got his own name wrong, Harry had always felt embarrassed by this as it wasn't even his fault, he had spent the first 5 years of his life exclusively being called 'Freak' or 'Boy' or 'Oi You'; when the teacher had called out 'Harry Potter' he hadn't responded. It was the first time he had ever heard that name.

Harry looked over at Dudley's watch which he had left dangling on the arm of the sofa, there was only 10 seconds left until his birthday, in his head he hoped that this birthday would be different and that he would actually feel wanted but he knew deep down that it was never going to be like this, he was going to spend his entire life as nothing more than a punching bag for the Dursley's

'10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4'

Harry suddenly became nauseous and light-headed, it was as if there was something trying to force its way into his mind. To any normal 10, soon to be an 11 year old this pain would have been excruciating, but Uncle Vernon and Dudley had made sure that Harry could deal with an abnormal amount of pain. But something about this felt different, it was as if the pain was having an argument in his mind, something felt something deep inside his subconscious trying to tell him that everything was okay when on the stroke of midnight Harry passed out, a normal 11 year old for less than a second

Harry felt like he was trapped inside his mind for hours, fighting and battling before feeling a wave of relief over himself as he finally tapped out and let, unbeknownst to him, his older self take over his mind. In actuality it had only been 2 seconds that Harry was out for as he was startled awake by a banging on the front door. Harry knew that he wouldn't have time to contemplate all his new memories and plan a form of action today as he was aware exactly who was about to burst through that door.

CRASH

The figure outside, who Harry knew to be Hagrid, smashed into the door a second time, by this point all of the Dursleys had woken up, Dudley hiding behind the fireplace to avoid whatever monster was about to enter their secluded hotel room. Uncle Vernon had grabbed a shotgun from the storage room upstairs yet despite being the armed of the two adults coming down the stairs Vernon deliberately positioned himself behind his wife. And then there was Aunt Petunia, unlike her son and husband there was no fear in Petunia's eyes, only remorse. Harry thought back to the last time he had seen the closest biological family he had in his previous timeline and thought about how much they had all grown. Dudley, the coward and bully had grown enough courage to admit his faults and attempt a reconciliation. Aunt Petunia had grown to the point where she was able to overcome years of resentment and briefly open up to Harry about the pain of losing her sister. And Uncle Vernon, had surely grown a suit size or four.

CRASH

With a final bang on the big wooden door, the door fell completely out of its hinges; falling mere centimetres from Harry's feet, subconsciously he wondered whether that had been one of his six death and imagined the bollocking he likely received when he had met with Lister that time around, killed by a door. Through the void from where the door used to be, through stepped a man too tall to blend in with regular humans but who always believes he is doing the right thing. Seeing Hagrid in the muggle environment makes Harry think that there were probably countless other Hogwarts staff or adults in the wizarding world that would have been a better fit to collect him from the Dursleys. Why had Hogwarts sent Hagrid?

"Sorry 'bout that" The abnormally large man bellowed as he attempted to put the door back on its hinge, Hagrid's eyes surveyed the room before finally landing on Harry. "Ah, there you are 'Arry, boy I haven't seen you since you were a baby and you look just like your father, well except for yer eyes, they're just like your mums". Harry internally groaned with how much he had heard that exact comparison in his previous timeline, it seemed to be the only thing anyone ever said about his mother, he had been told stories of his dads antics throughout Hogwarts but whenever someone spoke about Lily Potter all they could seem to mention were the bright green eyes.

Harry stayed quiet and didn't respond to Hagrid, his arrival had not given him enough time to use his new Occlumency abilities and sort out all his future self's, or was it past self's, memories. As much as Harry always remembered liking Hagrid he also had a tendency to say something he wasn't supposed to, plus the half-giant worshipped the ground that Albus Dumbledore walked on, which could cause issues with Harry's destiny defining Dumbledore as a Dark Lord, something that even Harry himself wasn't sure was plausible. But at the end of the day he knew he needed to trust Lister otherwise he wouldn't have been sent back with his memories. So whilst he didn't entirely know why he knew he needed to distance himself from the esteemed Headmaster, the worst thing that could happen is letting something slip to Hagrid before Harry had planned.

Harry knew that the journey Hagrid would take him on to Diagon Alley would take all night just as it had last time so this would give Harry plenty of time to sieve through all of his memories and work out what he needed to do when he reached the Alleyway. All Harry had to do first was make it that long without fucking up. As such, it was time to feign ignorance of all things magical.

Hagrid rambled on about Hogwarts and the magical world with Harry always acting confused whenever Hagrid mentioned something magical, or anything about Hogwarts in general. Harry wondered if he was laying it on a bit thick but whilst Harry always had utmost respect for Hagrid, he was never the sharpest tool in the shed so Harry wasn't particularly worried. Hagrid had gotten particularly angry when Harry had mentioned the way he had been told his parents died and it made him question the logic that the Dursleys had used, if their plan to "beat the freakiness" out of him had been successful then he could have ended up an obscurial and accidentally killed them all. Whilst they might not have liked it, Hagrid coming personally to pick Harry up probably saved their lives.

"Lily and James Potter; die in a car crash. What codswallop have you been feeding him, Dursley! Now come along Harry, we need to get your stuff for school". Uncle Vernon who had been cowering behind his wife for the entirety of this conversation finally spoke up, "We are not going to let him go to some school and let some batshit crazy wankers teach him". Vernon had clearly struck a nerve with Hagrid, and with his reaction plus Harry's memory of this exact same reaction last time around Harry had his first theory about why Hagrid had picked him up and not Professors Mcgonnagal, Sprout or even Sinistra would have been more suitable. Hagrid was enamoured by Dumbledore, Hagrid would go to any lengths to protect Dumbledore. Hagrid had been sent to make sure that Harry thought of Dumbledore in a positive light, that's it.

(Meanwhile in a dimension in a completely undetectable location Lister facepalmed at how close the boy was to having a breakthrough yet still completely missing)

Finally Harry agreed to go with Hagrid, not after letting Dudley gain another pig's tail, which he believed was what frightened the Dursleys into finally letting him, but finally something happened which Harry had no memory of, and Harry wondered how he had changed the timeline already. Vernon Dursley said in as plain as terms as any, that Harry would not be setting foot in Number 4 Privet Drive between leaving and going to Hogwarts. This took Harry by surprise as the only thing he had done differently was act up the confusion about magic, had this made Uncle Vernon think he was more enthusiastic than last time, Harry didn't know but whatever the reasoning Vernon had given Harry even more thinking to do on the long journey to Diagon Alley

Whilst pretending to be sleeping Harry started to plan what changes he needed to make in this first year before he lost his first batch of memories. Despite having the mental memories of an nearly 18 year old version of himself, Harry could tell that he physically felt like a scrawny and ill 11 year old child which could be a problem, he wasn't going to be as magically strong as he had been which meant he would not be able solve all of his problems for a while, the only concern was limiting the number of deaths in the time it took for Harry to achieve his destiny, he was sure that the grim reapers would appreciate a little bit less paperwork.

Harry's first priority would have to be his living arrangement however, with Vernon's potentially rash decision it had left him with nowhere to go, Harry thought back to his first visit to Diagon Alley and tried to remember who he had met on that day. The two names that were sticking out to him were Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom, they were the only two people that Harry had met that he would have any form of communication with at Hogwarts. But Draco Malfoy was completely off the table, there was no chance that Harry would allow himself to become the ward of the Malfoy family, although it would allow him to get to Dobby earlier than planned? Absolutely not, Harry thought.

Which left Neville Longbottom, Harry weil admit he was never as close to Neville in the original timeline as he probably should have been, he could have easily been the Boy-Who-Lived himself if Voldemort had chosen differently. This would give Harry and Nevile the chance they would have had to be god-brothers had their parents survived. But there laid the crux of the problem, Neville was being raised by his Grandmother, and whilst she was a formidable woman, adding the burden of another pre-teen boy was something Harry felt way too guilty to do. Harry sunk back down into his thoughts, something was playing on the back of his mind telling him that there was a third option which would be the perfect solution but it was clearly something that only his subconscious had noticed as when he watched back the memory that was being prompted he only saw the busy street of Diagon Alley as Harry as first entered it with Hagrid.

When Harry arrived at the Leaky Cauldron he had formulated a plan in his mind, he was going to try and find out more about his family at Gringotts, and go about his shopping trying to find things that he didn't have last time which could be of benefit to him. For example Hermione had mentioned a book that was on her book list for Muggleborns about adapting to wizarding world cultures, despite being a half-blood Harry wished that he had this book on his list as it would have helped him no end, and this time he was going to make sure that he found that book.

Innkeeper Tom had recognised Harry just like last time despite Harry's best attempts to keep his head down. This had started the melee of everyone in the pub coming up and shaking his hand, he was certain Doris Crockfoot had shaken his hand four times by the time he had been bustled out. However the interaction which interested Harry the most was Professor Quirell, Harry obviously remembered the real reason why Quirell was in Diagon Alley that day so did his best not to let out a chuckle when the feeble defence against the dark arts teacher gave his clearly improvised excuse. But the thing that had caught Harry's attention is when Harry went to shake his hand, Quirell quickly moved his hand away, this didn't match up to what Harry remember as he was certain that Voldemort had no knowledge of the power that his 'mothers love' until later in this school year. Was Quirell genuinely that scared of everything, Harry asked Hagrid about Quirell who told him "He was always nervous I tell ya, but back when he was Muggle Studies teacher it was never this bad, I guess he is just nervous taking over from Professor Green in Defence against the Dark Arts". This information was completely new to Harry as he had never learnt about this in his previous life, it made him think about the dire knowledge that most wizards have about muggles, and how it makes sense considering there was a Voldemort sympathiser teaching it for many years.

Most of Harry's journey through Gringotts went as expected, Hagrid had taken them in, they had met Griphook who had taken him down to his trust vault. It was at this point that Harry planned to divert from the timeline as Hagrid mentioned he had official Hogwarts business to attend to, with this information Harry asked if he could go and learn more about his family from the Goblins and see what else he had access to in the bank. However to Harry's surprise Hagrid's light demeanour quickly darkened, "NO" he bellowed taking Harry aback as he had never seen Hagrid look this aggressive before, "I am under strict orders to not allow you out of my sight and to get you home safely, you are not to go wandering around. Understand!" Harry cowered from the much larger man who could easily crush him if he wanted to. Harry had been friends with Hagrid for years in his other life, yet he had never been as scared of him as he was here. Harry's mind started to race through his memories trying to work out what could possibly have caused Hagrid's sudden change when it finally hit him.

Why were three first years, one of whom was failing most of his classes able to defeat all of the protections around the Philosopher's Stone. That same Philosopher's Stone that Harry was now deliberately being taken to see be removed from Gringotts, mentioned as Hogwarts business. Why did Dumbledore announce the stone's location on the first day of term? Was Hagrid really as loose-lipped as he had been that year? Harry barely remembered any times past first year where Hagrid had let slip secrets, and he had been sent to Azkaban and on a reconnaissance mission to the giants and managed to keep them secret. Or had Hagrid been told to let that information slip. Had the entirety of the Philosopher's Stone debacle been a test.

(Somewhere a certain Grim Reaper just punched the air with delight)

Harry was barely concentrating for the rest of the Gringotts trip, he had now worked out why Hagrid was sent to risk the Statute of Secrecy to come and collect him. Hagrid would believe that he was doing Dumbledore a favour and would be boosting his chances to become a teacher in the future, meanwhile Hagrid was being played like a puppet, telling the exact story that the puppeteer wants people to hear. Hagrid was sent to collect him as a trap. now what Dumbledore's intentions with the trap Harry was still unsure of, and he wasn't ready to declare him the second dark wizard yet as surely if Dumbledore had planned this situation then he would have never been in any true danger? Right? About fifty memories pushed to the front of Harry's mind showing times where he and others had been in danger. Harry did not however realise that fifty was the maximum capacity of memories to be prioritised at once and he actually had hundreds more. Maybe Lister had been right.

Harry and Hagrids next trip was to Flourish and Blotts, the bookstore where Hary could collect all of his school books, plus the extra ones that he had worked out from his memory could be helpful. Once they arrived into the bookstore Hagrid left Harry to it, claiming he had to go grab some more shopping, completely undermining his display about not letting Harry out of his sight and also starting to confirm the near conspiracy theories that Harry had rattling through his head. Harry knew where most of his books were so he wanted to spend most of the time looking for the new books that he didn't have last time round. As such he went into the section designed for new muggle-born students, he was just looking on the top shelf when he heard a voice which made him suddenly stop.

"Mum, I promise I will read all of them"- A little girl's voice spoke out

"If you can carry them then you can have them"- Whom Hary could only assume to be the girls mother replied

Harry knew that voice and suddenly his mind went back to his memory that his subconscious had been showing him earlier. The crowded Diagon Alley street and as he concentrated he was able to zoom the memory into the crowd and spot a group of people just leaving Ollivanders, his suspicions were confirmed, Harry turned around and for the first time since before he had died, found himself look at the face of Hermione Granger

A/N- Please leave a review to let me know what you think- the daily chapter updates wont continue indefinitely but I'm currently feeling the buzz for writing and haven't hit a single block yet so chapters will becoming out essensially when they are finished

Also yes the chapter title is a reference to the Lego Harry Potter game first level where they go to Diagon Alley, just with a twist
