Tom's Pov:

'This is impossible. How in the bloody hell was Anna able to disappear into thin air?' I thought pacing the room, anxiously.

I had been pacing the length of the room for almost twenty-four hours.

I was angry, frustrated, and worst of all, worried that something could've happened to her.

I stopped, brief to blast yet another hole in the wall. Watching it briefly before I sighed and remended all of the furniture within the room, along with the windows and walls.

It's been almost six months and none of our friends or followers had found her.

I wasn't breaking my promise to her.

I had stopped trying to take over the world and gain power, but I had to go back to using intimidation to get people to help me find her.

I couldn't be without her.

She was my only hold on reality. I felt as if a piece of my very soul was gone when she disappeared.

I'm guessing that in a way, a part of my soul truly is missing since Anna had to use the ancient spell that combined our souls together after the idiot blasted me with an unknown spell right in the center of the chest.

Thinking back to that day, how everything seemed to be moving in slow motion as it happened, still has my skin prickling.

All I remember is Anna telling me to begin to use the spell we had been working on. Then suddenly, I remember getting hit in the chest, me struggling to take my next breath, and then collapsing before the entire world blackened before me.

After that and a brief period of panic, I felt a slight warm feeling before a rather painful burning sensation where I had been hit, it was almost too much to bear.

When I finally was able to gasp and take in my next breath, I was bathed in sweat.

Having gained the ability to open my eyes once more had never been more of a relief than it was at that second.

Although, the relief ended the next second when I saw my Anna unsteadily get to her feet, looking worn out, before she proceeded to collapsed in a heap on the damp, muddied ground.

Though it was painful, more painful than when she showed me how painful it really is to create a Horcrux.

Though I knew exactly what is needed to create one, there wasn't a need to anymore. At least not for me.

With Anna having performed the death prevention spell, now neither of us can die easily.

Brief snippets of that day kept playing in my mind.

Though I did try to keep it in the back of my mind.

The panic I felt the moment she collapsed to the ground, unmoving, kept springing back front and center.

How I managed to run back to the castle with her in my arms without collapsing myself afterward in the infirmary, in the bed next to hers, has me shocked.

I left her for that of an hour to help the professors and Ministry of Magic clean up the mess left within the woods.

How was I to know that leaving her for that amount of time would allow her just enough time to disappear?

My mind seemed to be elsewhere as I sat in my room within the Malfoy Manor. Where I had managed to put a headquarters of sorts, once more.

Everyone, including her friends and family, were out searching for in different parts of the wizarding world.

I had a feeling that she left hiding something.

I had tried to penetrate her brilliant mind, but only managed to do so for a second, before she always managed to push me back out. Every damn time.

"My Lord?" He said, hesitantly.

"What did you find, Dolohov?" I asked, annoyed, keeping my eyes on the map of England.

Something was telling me she hadn't left the country, let alone the continent.

"We believed we found a trace, using the tracking system in the Ministry of Magic, we managed to trace her location just before she disappeared, on the day she disappeared. It said she apparated to a little town in London, England." He said, hesitantly.

"There's something else, I presume, that you are hiding from me," I said, watching him twitch nervously by the door.

"W-well... The tracker found out that she apparated to a town... called Little Hangleton... Just outside the Riddle manor, where people who we questioned said she asked where the nearest train station was located. We lost all traces after that. We believe she traveled the muggle way. She somehow managed to take the tracking device in her wand off shortly after..." He explained.

My right hand twitched, in exasperation.

Since Anna's disappearance, I had started practicing my wandless use of magic, more and more.

I had improved exponentially, but I was nowhere near as skilled as Anna's swift flick of her dainty wrist.

"Keep looking. Remember she has the ability to change her appearance. Look for signs of magic in the surrounding areas, maybe they'll lead you to her." I said, feeling disappointment bubble in my chest, once more.

"My Lord, we're doing everything we can." He stuttered.

"Find her," I said, before turning to look out the window.

Suddenly, I thought appeared in my mind, leaving just as quickly as it came.

I groaned, at the oncoming headache, I felt as the idea disappeared.

I listen to the retreating footsteps and stood up frustrated after the door closed.

I had begun to take my anger out on the furniture, the glass from the windows in the room shattered into tiny particles that crunched under my shoes as I moved across the room, tearing the curtains on the bed, and breaking all the wooden furniture in the room.

Hours later I stood in the middle of the room, breathing heavily as I took in the room.

I was almost shocked at the level of force of anger that had hit me.

I quickly mended everything with a spell Anna and I had learned together.

Almost collapsing in exhaustion on the bed as I walked to the wardrobe to get some fresh clothes out.

Then proceeded to make my way towards the bathroom for a quick shower, changing into a pair of lounge pants and a black t-shirt before climbing into the bed.

I was almost unconscious when I heard multiple footsteps rushing towards my room.

Moments later, four knocks were heard on my door.

"My— my Lord." Narcissa and Lucius both said as they walked in.

Narcissa was heavily pregnant with their son.

The sight made me briefly wondered what Anna would look like carrying my child inside of her.

I instantly felt regret for telling her I didn't want any children. Ever.

I knew I was being an arse when I told her that but it was truly how I felt back then.

Now as I begun seeing everyone begin to have children, the sight made me wonder what ours would look like. I almost longed for it.

"Narcissa, Lucius," I replied, pulling myself into a sitting position as they stepped deeper into the room.

"Avery and Anna's aunt- the MacLaggen girl, have disappeared. All of her close friends have been disappearing for extended periods of time, then reappear a certain time later at a different location. Before disappearing again for vast amounts of time." Lucius informed.

"My Lord, I believe that there is an unknown reason why she disappeared, the last known people to be seen with her were Bellatrix and Bastan along with Snape..." He added.

I noticed Narcissa was looking rather pale, and wide-eyed as her husband spoke.

"We have questioned everyone, including staff at Hogwarts and people from the ministry," Narcissa said, her voice shaking as her eyes began to shine.

"Riddle, I honestly don't think we'll be able to find her like this," Lucius said.

"Please, excuse me." She said, her voice cracking as she spoke before she abruptly left.

I nodded, laying back down. "Have you questioned Black and Lestrange?" I asked.

Bellatrix was her closest friend back in Hogwarts, maybe she and Bastan knew something, anything, on her disappearance.

I stood up, even with a killer headache pounding within my head. I made my way slowly towards the dining room, where we had been holding all our meetings.

"Tell them I wish to see them, as soon as possible," I ordered, as I quickly walked into the dining room.

Little did I know that none of them were in the vicinity of the manor.

Something stunk around here, and it wasn't the food on the plate sitting before me on the table.

I was going to get to the bottom of it, even if I had to begin by submerging myself into what I was back in Hogwarts, the one Anna despised.

I would do it.Just to find her.
