Izuku's POV

Taking the right path that the Lost Children used for parkour. The running routes were how they avoided the heroes in the first place. Footsteps raced behind him trying to catch up to him. The voice that had called out to them decided to focus on him. Unusual but not unexpected.

Izuku clothes were slightly baggy allowing him to hide his athleticism. Heroes and civilians alike underestimated him constantly. He didn't look like he had the stamina to outrun them.

He climbed up the boxes that would take him to the roof of the building. Every second counted. If it was a hero chasing him they wouldn't hesitate to climb up the building.

As he climbed up onto the roof he saw Aiden. The falcon screeched and headed to the west side of the building. Behind him, Izuku could hear the person that the voice belonged to scrambling up the boxes. There was a strange revving sound in the air.

He ran towards the end of the west side of the building he heard someone climb up. The voice shouted, "Wait don't jump."

Too late he jumps off the side and for a moment the feeling of free fall overtook him. Adrenaline flooded his veins and then he hit a soft fabric that he rolled off of. A man in silver armor with a mask that kept Izuku from reading his face looked down at from the roof. This wasnt a hero he had run into before. Wasn't Ingenium supposed to be a Hosu hero?

No time to consider it he had to leave before other heroes showed up. Flashing the hero a grin he continued to head west taking back alleys and parkour routes up through the buildings. Adults never noticed his presence amongst them. People only saw what they wanted to see. A thirteen-year-old child running through the rooftops wasn't that.

The revving sound returned behind him. It was gaining on Izuku as the boy rolled onto the next roof. He couldn't keep going like this and risk the hero following him back to the hideout.

Dropping down into the alley below rolling forward. As he stood someone dropped down beside him. A hand reached for his collar and Izuku dodged around it. A fierce grin crossed his face staring at the engine hero curious about the other. It wasnt often a new hero was brought onto the police investigation. All the heroes that chased him normally were ones the Lost Children made fools of. Ingenium wasnt one they had come across since they didnt visit Hosu.

Izuku put some space between them before quipping, "I didn't know Ingenium was in this city. What brings you chasing after a kid?"

The masked hero turned his head to the side. Then said a voice changer masking his voice, "I heard about the Lost Children from one of my colleagues. The falcon gave you away."

Of course, Aiden gave him away. Silver winged falcons were rare as it was. In Japan, they were practically unheard of. For the Lost Children to have one and for a child walking the streets to have a different one was an impossibility. The man was smarter than Izuku gave him credit for.

Izuku titled his head to the side in acceptance. Aiden squawked above them doing three circles. More heroes were coming. As much as this hero interested him he couldn't stay to chat.

He stated simply, "Time for me to go. It's been fun Ingenium."

"Do you really think I will just let you leave? I have the duty to bring you in for questioning."

"Do you really think you can catch me?" He returned with a grin.

Ingenium made to grab him. Dodging to the side he tried to slip past the man's guard. Only to find the hero had moved much closer than the boy wanted. Exhaust pipes in his arms made it clear how. The quirk Engine was nothing to scoff at. Time to test to see if No Longer Human worked on him.

Izuku grabbed the hero at the wrist and despite being smaller than the other he threw him. Ingenium landed with a painful thud on the ground. The soft revving sounds that the boy had been ignoring up to this point stopped the moment his hand came into contact with the other's wrist. Well, that answered that question. It seemed his quirk could work on Engine that was got to know.

A nearly silent pop sounded behind him.

Well, that didn't take long. His reinforcements had arrived. Ingenium went to say something but explosions above them caught his attention. The boy leaped back in a well-practiced move. Bakugo Katsuki known as KEM to the heroes came crashing down explosions erupting from his hands.

Katsuki and Izuku had grown up as close as brothers. Their mothers were best friends and did everything together. Including abandoning their children. For a long time, it had been only the two of them struggling to survive. Then Nero came along and taught them the ropes. It was then that Izuku found out he did have a quirk. No Longer Human had stopped the older boy from teleporting them away.

Katsuki called him Deku to try and throw off the heroes. It didnt speak of his quirk nor what he was capable of. Being that before now a hero had never seen his face it worked quite well.

Izuku quipped with a grin, "KEM so happy for you to join us. What took so long?"

"Shut it, Deku! If you hadn't decided to play with the heroes we wouldn't be in this situation."

Well, he did have a point there. The King of Thieves in him always wanted to play with the heroes. Leading them on long chases only to lose them at the last moment was a thrill. If he had to use his bow he was sure to aim where it would heal without complications. He would not do permanent injury to a hero. No matter the reason.

The voice of one of their advance scouts shouted from above them, "Deku, KEM we have incoming. More heroes are on the way. Looks like Nighteye and Fatgum."

Hm? No Thirteen? Then again it was a school day. The rescue hero was a hero at UA so he was probably working. That would make things easier. They just had to avoid Nighteye and his foresight quirk.

Katsuki and Izuku exchanged glances. The man's quirk was the reason only Izuku was allowed to engage him. Foresight they had come to figure out had a two-step activation. The first step was physical contact with the person he wanted to look into the future for. The second was to lock eyes with them. Two things that weren't difficult with hand to hand combat fighters like Deku and KEM.

Ingenium said with his head turning to the side, "You are certainly different from what I expected. Are you sure you want to try and run from us?"

"What choice do we have, hero?" Izuku questioned in return. Katsuki tapped his shoulder and pointed to the back alley as he continued, "There are others counting on our return. I cannot disappoint them."

Turning on his heel Izuku ran towards the next back alley. Double-checking to make sure his quirk hadn't activated during the excitement he slapped hands with Max. Pushing off from the ground he floated the side of the building.

Max was one of their runners when they went to gather supplies. If a job went down he could get them out of there just as fast as Nero. The boy was 11. He sported black hair with the most piercing blue eyes. Quirk was Zero Gravity physical contact with his hands and a person could float. Height and duration depended on how many people were using it at once. The problem was he couldn't use it on himself or objects.

As he reached the rooftop he activated his own quirk. Stopping the use he landed lightly on the rooftop. Looking down at the street his eyes caught those of Ingenium. This wouldn't be the last they saw of the pro hero.

Aizawa's POV

By the time he and the other heroes arrived Ingenium was alone in the streets. To a civilian, it would have appeared as if the hero was on patrol. Shouta could tell scuff marks on the usually pristine armor.

Shouta asked checking the street to be sure they were alone, "You uninjured Ingenium?"

The hero replied, "Besides some bruises on my back and chest I'm fine. Though I do have some interesting information on our young friends."

Shaggy dark blue hair fell into blue eyes as Ingenium pulled off his helmet. Tensei Iida was his civilian identity. They both had gone to UA together and were in the same class. While he wasnt as close to Tensei as he was Hizashi it was good to see the hero again.

After assuring themselves and Nighteye that the kids were gone they headed back to the police station. If there was to be new information shared Tsukauchi needed to be there. The walk was only about fifteen minutes but it still had Shouta's mind wondering. What had Tensei figured out? A year of chasing the kids and they had only figured out four of the quirks and two identities.

First, was King Explosion Murder better known as KEM. His true name was Bakugo Katsuki. This they had known since they saw the explosive hands. He seemed to be the second in command of the lost children.

As they entered the station Sansa greeted, "Eraserhead, Detective Tsukauchi is waiting for you at his desk. He figured you would be coming soon."

As promised they found Tsukauchi leaning over a pile of paperwork. Around them, detectives were working on other cases or speaking to each other quietly. A few greeted the heroes but mostly they were left alone. With the task force trying to catch the Lost Children it wasnt a rare sight to see this many in one place anymore.

Tsukauchi looked up and greeted with a weary smile, "Eraser, Nighteye it's good to see you," seeing Tensei he continued, "And you must be Ingenium. Thanks for coming from Hosu. I heard you were good with children and had a knack for catching some of the most elusive criminals in Hosu."

It was true and was part of what made the man so popular. That and with his connection to Shouta they asked for a favor. Tensei being a kind-hearted hero and agreed immediately. It had taken a few days to get things in order but he arrived promptly as promised.

Tensei returned with a warm smile, "Its good to be back in this city it's been too long. I met a few of the Lost Children today as well. Normally I don't travel in my gear but you and Eraser insisted. I'm glad I did. I don't think I would have been able to keep up so easily with Deku. And those explosions from KEM would have definitely hurt more."

The heroes and detective winced in sympathy. Out of all the Lost Children KEM was the most violent. Any threat to the one they called Deku was to be eliminated in his mind. King of Thieves and Deku the two most mysterious of the group. Speculation was that they were the same person but no one could get close enough to see the King of Thieves face. Deku was more of a rumor than a real person.

Then Shouta realized what had been said. He questioned, "Wait you met Deku?"

Tensei affirmed, "I did. When I was making my way to the station I found a child being followed by a silver winged falcon. I remembered what you had said about the possibility of the King of Thieves have one. So I went to talk to the person and found two children. One was carrying a bag of what appeared to be medicine. They noticed me almost immediately and took off. I followed the younger in what could only be described as an extreme parkour route. When I finally caught up to him I tried to bring him in and he threw me. We both used our quirks and that's when I realized his. You thought it was a disruption quirk. I don't think that's quite right. It felt like when Eraser uses his quirk on us. Except it only worked while he was in physical contact with me."

There was another Erasure Quirk out there. That couldn't be anything good. Especially if the children decided to become vigilantes or villains. So how were they supposed to bring the Lost Children out of hiding?
