Anna/ Sophia's PoV:

~Two Months Later~

For the past two months thinking about Tom, Hogwarts, our close friends, and my family had made hiding out even more difficult than I thought it ever to be.

Even though some of my friends knew where I was located, it was still difficult.

I was currently at a muggle grocery store, buying my groceries, and everything else I may be needing when I began to feel a stomach cramp begin on my left side, causing me to stiffen.

I tried to slowly breathe through the pain, as I slowly finished getting my groceries. Before I walked over to the register to pay for everything, I realized something was happening.

Even though I had the concealment charm placed, it didn't stop the symptoms from coming and going, every now and again.

Sweat was beginning to dew on my forehead, and my breathing was becoming a bit haggard.

I had just finished paying for everything when I felt another cramp shoot into my body.

This time I felt it on my back. I took slow deliberate breathes as it once again ceased. Before I slowly made my way out of the store.

I froze in my place when I saw four hooded, cloaked figures appear in front of a building two doors down from where I stood. I attempted to continue walking normally, trying not to attract attention to myself.

Then I slowly walked the opposite way and headed into the alley, which I knew was located two blocks away, as quickly apparating into the kitchen of my house.

My heart was beating erratically as I set the bags down.

I hurriedly pulled out a piece of parchment and wrote three letters. One to Grisha, the other to Bella, and another Lily informing all of them of what had happened.

I needed them to be here, quickly I might add. I didn't want to be alone if something did happened.

When I was done writing the letters I gave Chloe a snack and handed her the letters when she finished munching happily.

"Get these to my aunt Grisha. The other Bellatrix, and the last one to Lily as quickly as possible. Hurry, I don't know how much time I may have." I said as I felt my back spasm once more.

I also tried a different breathing technique, one I learned from Dumbledore himself, just before I left.

I, then, slowly made my way towards the living room, pausing each time the pains came, leaning heavily against the wall for support as I did so.

I began to feel sweat drops form on my forehead as I slowly sat down on the soft couch, trying to relax as I felt another pain hit.

The pains were getting closer, and worse.

I thought I was going to end up going into labor while I was alone. Tears began to form in my eyes as I wished Tom was here with me.

'I miss Tom.' I thought, breathing in heavily as I did so.

A brief wave of remorse hit me when I realized that Tom probably would be here, had I told him, and not run away like a coward.

'I miss Anna.' I heard Tom think before another pain hit, allowing me to close the link once more.

I heard a whooshing sound followed by four loud, resounding pops as I took in a calming breath.

The front door then slammed open, and Grisha rushed to my side, as did Bellatrix.

"Breathe, Sophie, breathe." She said, grabbing my hand.

I nodded my head erratically, as my long calming breathes slowly turned to short quick breathes.

I could feel as my stomach began to tighten and untighten. As my fingernails dug into my palm as the pain intensified once more.

"What should we do?" Bella asked, from where she stood with Bastan near the foyer.

"Bastan go and see if Billy is back yet. He went to get the doctor and midwife." My aunt said, taking slow breathes in with me,

"I've got the hot water, a few cloths, and towels, just in case," Lily said.

He nodded slowly, throwing a saddened smile my way, I noticed James stood there with his hands behind his back, looking guilty as he stepped out of the room.

"What did James do?" I gasped, feeling as my hair stuck to my sweaty forehead.

"Don't worry about it." Grisha said, "Focus on breathing through the pains, sweetie, you can talk to them about it later." She commanded gently.

"How did you get here so quickly?" I asked as I inhaled deeply, groaning as I felt another pain hit.

My hands flew to my stomach, in a poor attempt to sooth the intense pain away.

"We were already on our way here... to answer your question, James may have spilled the beans to Sirius, and Remus..." Lily muttered.

"James!" I screeched, as everyone ran into the room.

I noticed that the midwife and doctor had arrived too before another pain hit me causing me to wince in pain.

"I'm so sorry. I-it was an accident." He muttered, his entire face turning crimson as he stared down.

"Wait, 'til I get my hands on you!" I promised as I felt another pain hit.

"Oooh!!!" I groaned, "Wait 'til I get my hands around all the male population in existence! I swear it!" I cried out, watching as all the men winced before stepping back.

"See? I told you, she'd murder you once she learned that you spilled the beans." Torin muttered, cheerfully.

"Does—does that mean he—Does that mean that Tom knows where I am, already?" I asked, in between gasps, feeling my eyes widen.

"This isn't the time to be asking these types of questions. She needs to be seen. Clear the room, the lot of you." Grisha ordered.

The room cleared up, leaving only the midwife, the doctor, Grisha, and Bellatrix in the room.

The doctor quickly examined me, checking how much I was dilating, and whether or not I was dilating.

"I'm going to be giving you a muscle relaxant, it's a potion. This is just so your babies can stay in there for a couple of more weeks. Though judging by how bad you were contracting earlier, I'd say you only have a few more days, possibly less." He said as he handed me the potion.

I stiffened, looking towards Grisha, as she stroked the back of my hand soothingly.

"What does this mean doctor?" Grisha asked the doctor, turning to look at him.

While all three women that were there were heavily pregnant like me. Torin was the only one who wasn't pregnant, as of yet. Or that we knew of.

"This means that she can't be left alone, anymore. Those babies could arrive at any given time." He prompted.

As they all stared at him, wordlessly.

"Someone is going to have to stay with her. In my personal opinion, seeing as there are three or four of you in the same condition, some more or less in the phase of the pregnancy as her, might I suggest that you all stay with her here?" He suggested, looking at Grisha and Bellatrix, who hid her bulge in her cloak, straightening her shoulders in an attempt to hide it more.

"Of course. Thank you, doctor," I said drowsily, as I felt the potion take effect.

He nodded, looking towards the midwife.

"She can be due at any moment. Depending on how much rest she gets." He said, eyeing me once more in concern, before he left.

It was quite for a moment before I sighed and looked over at them.

"So, who'll be staying?" I asked, breathing tiredly.

Just as I spoke everyone came rushing in.

Avery, who was looking towards Grisha worried. James quickly walking into the room and plopping down in the seat next to mine.

"I'm so sorry, Anna." He said, looking towards me remorsefully, patting my arm in a comforting gesture.

"Who now knows of my location?" I asked, closing my eyes and leaning back, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Just Remus and Sirius... Peter has disappeared. Truth be told, we're not sure if he's trustworthy anymore. He seems shaken every time we do see him." He mentioned, looking worried.

"I believe he may not be here anymore. I can't be entirely sure though, he may have simply left. Tom is getting desperate, I can feel it. They're all searching for me. I ran into four of them earlier this morning, though due to my ability to change my appearances, I doubt they could recognize me much." I said, rubbing my stomach as I felt one of the babies kick my side.

"How are you feeling, Sophie?" Torin asked, looking at me sincerely.

"Tired, extremely so." I said, answering honestly.

"James, you also failed to inform her that I was also present when you slipped up, brother dearest," Torin remarked, as she sat down on the coffee table, listening as it creaked.

I suddenly felt as if something shifted. I sat up slightly, as I clutched either side of my stomach, before blinking twice and looking around the room to see the expressions on all of their faces.

Merlin's beard, the situation has just gotten worse.

"Don't trust, Pettigrew. If he happens to ask you anything, don't tell him the truth. If he has any sort of vital information he could end up getting us all killed." I informed them.

"He's practically a mouse, how exactly is he going to get us all killed?" James asked, astound, snickering at the thought.

"If someone finds out anything, or if Tom finds out that all of you knew- before him? - let's just say, I fear for the poor bloke that does end up informing him," I said, cryptically.

This was a complete disaster.

As each day passed the danger around us seemed to be growing more and more.

"So, who is going to be staying?" Avery asked, interrupting us, as he looked around.

"Grisha, Lily, Bellatrix, and Bastan," I said, automatically.

Everyone began talking all at once.

"Stop!" I commanded, my voice traveling around the room.

"Look, you three are pregnant, don't you think constantly traveling will hurt the babies? Be rational." I pleaded, watching as they all held a hand over their bellies.

"I will be staying here with Lily," James said.

To which I nodded in response, looking around the room once more.

"Of course, that's an obvious reason, she's your wife," I replied with a sigh, before looking at the others.

"Billy, I don't think you should stay. I think, it'll look too suspicious to Tom..., you could end up leading him here." I said, watching as he nodded in response. "You can, of course, keep visiting though," I added.

"Don't worry, now, I'll keep a lookout ..." Torin said.

"You should go now before it gets too dark," I advised.

James left only to gather their belongings, and inform the other two that I wished to see them.

Torin promised to be back to check in after clearing a few things back home.

Avery left after a quick goodbye, along with Bastan who said he'd be back as soon as possible.

With that, we were left alone, in calming silence.

Lily walked over to where I was propped and sat down slowly.

"How are you feeling?" she asked.

"Exhausted, but I can't complain, " I muttered, tiredly.

"You don't mind us being here, do you?" She asked, timidly.

"No, of course not. I should, however, go and put away the groceries I got earlier." I said, attempting to stand.

"It's already been done," Grisha said, as she walked into the room with a tray full of fruit and other snacks.

"How are you three feeling?" I asked them.

"My bloody feet and back are aching so much," Bellatrix complained, sitting down in the armchair in the corner of the room.

"Mine too," Grisha said popping in a grape into her mouth.

"I can't say anything yet. My back is aching quite a bit as does my chest but that's about it." Lily said, rubbing her small round stomach soothingly.

"It's barely the beginni-" I said as I felt Tom push into my mind.

'Why do I have the feeling you're hiding something from me?' He thought.

'There are things that are meant to be kept a secret until the right time, my love.' I replied, trying to push him out of my mind.

'It's only a matter of time before you slip up, love. I will be seeing you, very soon.' He taunted.

'Don't count on it being too soon, darling.' I taunted back, as I pushed him out of my mind.

I could feel the stares I was getting from everyone in the room.

I looked at them, shaking my head at them tiredly.

"I think I'm going to go to bed. Please remind James and Bastan that they need to lock up, both manually and magically, once they get back." I said as I slowly made my way out of the room and up the stairs to my room.
