Yumi Edogawa: thanks for your review my friend. Both adults are definitely going to get what's coming to them. As for Izuku meeting his father that is a little way of the moment. He wont be knocked from his chosen path whichever that is without a fight.

Izuku's POV

Finally. The day had arrived where he would get to see his family again. Tsukauchi had to return to his job and Izuku was going to Ingenium's agency. The other's would be there as well.

Tsukauchi had been nothing but friendly to him since he arrived. Despite Izuku having been a thief he tried to catch Tsukauchi didnt treat him as a criminal. He treat the boy just like any other child that would be in his care.

This was both comforting and disconcerting. Izuku had expected to be treated like a criminal. To not be trusted to be left alone for more than a few minutes at a time.

While he wasnt trusted per say Tsukauchi still allowed him certain freedoms. There was a lock on his door that could be used at his discretion. The man also knocked and waited for consent before he entered Izuku's room.

In the mornings he was allowed to go for a run. Tsukauchi had gotten him a phone so if he ran into problems he could call. So far things between them had been going great.

A part of him though was waiting for the other shoe to drop. For the freedoms he had been given to be yanked out from under him. Or to be struck for asking a stupid question. Tsukauchi he knew had seen every flinch he gave. There was a sadness in his eyes that pulled at Izuku's heart. It was as if the man actually cared.

Breakfast had been simple that morning with Tsukauchi insisting on Izuku drinking orange juice with his toast. He chose an Ingenium hoodie with a green tshirt under it and a pair of black jeans to wear.

Tsukauchi for his part was wearing his usual uniform. Something he had seen quite often in their chases. The trenchcoat looked as if it would do well in blocking out the wind.

Aiden took his customary position on Izuku's shoulder as they left the apartment. The drive only took fifteen minutes to reach Ingenium's agency. Katsuki was outside walking beside Best Jeanist. The older hero was talking quietly with the boy. Press tried to crowd around the two but a few of Ingenium's sidekicks kept them back.

When Katsuki saw Izuku his red eyes lit up. He greeted happily, "Zuku you're okay."

Izuku pushed his way over to the explosive blond as he replied, "Yep I'm recovered from being sick and the detective is making sure I eat properly."

"Fucking good," said Katsuki, "You need someone there to make sure you eat. Dont think I didnt see how you would give the younger kids your portions so that they would be less hungry."

"Language, Bakugo," chided Best Jeanist gently.

"Fucking Japanese, old man," retorted back Katsuki.

Tsukauchi snorted in amusement while Jeanist rolled his eyes. It seemed the hero was growing used to his brother's attitude. That was good if he didn't then there would be issues between Izuku and Jeanist.

The sound of snapping of cameras taking pictures of them caught there attention. Tsukauchi led him by his shoulder inside the agency. Surprisingly the two adults did their best to shield the teenagers from the view of the reporters.

When the receptionist noticed their approach she said, "Detective, Best Jeanist, Ingenium is waiting for you on the second floor. He has the kids in the gym there."

Both men thanked her before leading Izuku and Katsuki towards the elevator. Neither boy relaxed until they were safely inside. Tension left their shoulders but neither spoke. If the two adults thought it odd they didnt say anything.

Then the doors opened and they were ushered into the hallway. They were pushed down it until they reached a large set of doors. Even without opening them Izuku could hear the shouts of Jason and Alec. They were trying to rally the kids that still remained in the agency to center if his hearing was to be believed.

Tsukauchi asked when the two boys paused in amusement, "Issues?"

Izuku shook his head as he replied, "Nope. Just wondering if it is a better idea to leave those two to rally the kids."

Katsuki snorted, "And have Alec hunt us down? No thank you. I'd like to keep myself on his good side."

That was a fair point. It didnt matter who you were or what position you held in the Lost Children. No one wanted Alec angry or disappointed in them. He was everyone's big brother even if he was younger.

Hmmm. He wondered whatever did happen to that boy. They were supposed to keep in contact but when the heroes started to chase Lost Children he had dropped off the map. When Izuku got the chance to sneak away again he would need to drop by Giran's place. If anyone knew where he was it would be the old man.

Katsuki's red eyes narrowed in concern. He turned his head to the side in question. Izuku shook his head. Not here. Too many people were around them and too many ears. The blond gave a sharp nod of understanding.

Then they pushed open the door to the gym. Eyes immediately swung to look at them. It only took half a second for recognition to flare in the group of children's eyes.

They shouted, "KING! KEM!"

A rush of bodies knocked the two boys back into the adults. They were steadied by hands on their shoulders. Chuckles of amusement came from the detective and hero. Both Izuku and Katsuki shot their guardians sharp glares.

A voice from the otherside of the room chuckled, "Alright kids I think that's enough. I know you're excited to see King and KEM but they need to breathe."

A dark blue haired man in a grey tshirt and blue jeans walked up behind the kids. Gentle blue eyes watched in amusement as the kids retreated back a few feet. It took a moment for Izuku to realize that this was Ingenium in his civilian clothes. Even without the helmet he knew that this was the turbo hero. The engines in his arms were a clear giveaway.

Ingenium greeted with a kind smile towards him, "King, KEM, it's nice to meet you both officially. As you probably have deduced I am the Pro Hero Ingenium but you can call me Tensei. Or if you must Iida."

Izuku stepped forward greeting in return, "Nice to meet you, Iida. I am Izuku Midoriya and this is Bakugo Katsuki. Thank you for taking in the reminder of the Lost Children."

Iida said honesty clear in his blue eyes, "Its no problem at all. All part of being a hero kid. You all are welcome to use this gym to train or do anything else you'd like. Two doors down there is a locker room that you're all welcome to use. If you need anything the kids know where the kitchen and the extra rooms are. If you need anything from me my office is on the fifth floor."

He nodded his acceptance. Then Tsukauchi said as he was prepared to leave, "I'll be back to get you this evening. Try not to cause too much trouble for Ingenium."

Izuku and Katsuki exchanged a glance before they intoned together, "No guarantees."

The looks of exasperation was given from both the hero and detective. Tsukauchi raised a hand and gently ruffled his hair. Izuku flinched slightly unused to adults giving him kind touches. After a few seconds for him to lean slightly into the touch.

Katsuki gave him a knowing look as a pang of longing went through his chest as the hand pulled away. Izuku stuck his tongue out childishly.

Tsukauchi said moving towards the door, "I'll be back this evening."

"See you later detective."

They waited for the adults to leave. Jeanist and Ingenium both seemed to sense that something was going to happen. However they had no proof that the kids were going to do.

Once they were sure that the adults were gone Izuku stepped up and said, "Alright guys I'm happy to see you all well. KEM and I are also recovering from malnutrition just as you guys are. As long as the heroes keep up their end of the deal then we will be following along. That means no escaping and trying to good homes to live in. Agreed?"

The kids all considered it for a moment before they nodded. They accepted that he was right in this.

Now that the business was taken care of he grinned and announced, "Floor is lava day. Dont let the adults catch us. Yeah?"

"Yeah!" Came the group's shouts as every child including Izuku and Katsuki scrambled to get off the floor.
