Chapter 4- Germany and New Arrival

A/N: I figured who I wanted Rhodey's daughter to be in faces. I picked the girl who played Kizzy as a teenager in the Roots remake in 2016. I really liked Emyri Crutchfield as the young Kizzy. Of course she isn't in the story yet. I won't be putting her in until the events from the "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

It didn't take long for Banner to figure out Loki's location; Stuttgart, Germany. Of course it didn't take long for Captain America, Natasha, or Yelizaveta to suit up. Rogers and Yelizaveta were going to do the ground work while Natasha flew the chopper. Yelizaveta touched the hilt of her sword, ready to pull it out if she had to. With her other hand she touched the stock of the pistol she had tucked into her hip holster.

Apparently Loki was extremely oblivious when it came to people fighting him and he had made all the people at the art gallery he had crashed, kneel. "Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You wer made to be ruled," Loki said as he walked through the crowd. Yelizaveta refrained from rolling her eyes. Apparently the god of mischief from Norse legend was on the side of a windbag. "In the end you will always kneel," Loki finished as an elderly man stood.

"Not to men like you," the man said, his chin raised in defiance.

"There are no men like me," Loki said with a derisive laugh.

"There are always men like you," the old man said. This man had lived through dictators like Adolf Hitler and had learned from the past. Yelizaveta wanted to cheer this brave old man.

Loki raised his glowing staff. "Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example," Loki said as he raised his staff and pointed it at the old man. Yelizaveta pulled out her gun as she and Rogers Jumped in to block the blast with Roger's shield. They both straightened as Loki made his way to his feet.

"You know, the last time I was in Germany, and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing," Rogers said as he and Yelizaveta moved through the people, Yelizaveta keeping her gun trained on Loki.

"The soldier and the girl spy. The man and child out of time," Loki said with a mirthless laugh as he stood.

"We're not the ones who's out of time," Yelizaveta said as the engines of a jet filled her ears. Natasha was in the jet and ready to open fire as a gun popped out.

"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down," Natasha ordered over the intercom.

Loki took aim and fired at the jet. Natasha swerved to her right to miss the blast. Steve and Yelizaveta tossed their sword and shield at Loki as everyone scrambled out of the way. The sword and shield hit him on the side of the face, knocking him aside. Yelizaveta and Rogers picked up their weapons and launched an attack, Loki deflecting their blows. "Steve!" Yelizaveta yelped as Loki knocked him aside and turned to fight her. Yelizaveta raised her sword slightly, holding the hilt with both hands. Steve tossed the shield at him and started a fist fight.

"Kneel," Loki said, pressing his staff into Steve's neck.

"Not today," Steve said, doing a roundhouse kick into Loki's face as he gripped the staff. '

A light then streaked the sky. Yelizaveta breathed a sigh of relief as Iron Man, also known as Tony Stark came into view and launched an explosive fireball to Loki's chest as he landed. He aimed his weapons at Loki. "Make your move, Reindeer Games. Good move," Tony said as Loki raised his hands.

"Mr. Stark," Steve said, breathing hard as he and Yelizaveta joined Tony.

"Captain, kid," Tony said by way of greeting to them both as Natasha landed the chopper.

It didn't take long to load Loki onto the jet and Natasha got them airborne. Yelizaveta put her gun away and put her sword in her scabbard, that hung down her back. "Is he saying anything?" Yelizaveta heard Fury ask over the radio.

"Not a word," Natasha said stoically.

"Just get him here. We're low on time," Fury said with a slight hint of impatience in his voice.

"I don't like it," Yelizaveta said in a soft voice to Tony and Steve.

"What, Rock of Ages giving up so easily?" Tony asked.

"I don't remember it ever being that easy. This guy packs a wallop and knocked my sword and the Captain's shield as if it was nothing," Yelizaveta said, furrowing her dark eyebrows in concentration.

"She's right. It's never this easy," Steve said, taking her side.

"Still you are pretty spry for an older fellow. What's your thing, Pilates?" Tony asked, not resisting the chance to poke fun at Steve's age.

"What?" Steve asked, confused.

"It's like calisthenics. You might have missed a couple of things, you know, doing time as a Capsicle," Tony said.

"Fury didn't tell me he was calling you in," Steve said stiffly.

"Yeah, there's a lot of things Fury doesn't tell you," Tony said as thunder and lightening filled the sky.

"Where's this coming from?" Natasha asked, looking out the windshield.

Yelizaveta looked back at Loki, who looked nervous for the first time since his capture, "What's the matter? Are you scared of a little lightening?" Yelizaveta asked.

"I'm not overly fond of what follows," Loki said, swallowing convulsively.

The jet then shook as something landed on it hard. Tony slid on his helmet, Steve lifted his shield, and Yelizaveta unsheathed her sword. Tony opened the hatch. "What are you doing?" Steve asked as a muscled man with long blond hair landed on the hatch, a large hammer in his hand. The look of fear on Loki's face was enough to convince Yelizaveta that this new visitor was someone to reckon with and it had to be Thor, Loki's brother. Clint and Coulson had told Yelizaveta what had happened in New Mexico last year and how their grudge had leveled the town.

Thor used the hammer to knock Tony back. Thor grabbed Loki and both went out the open hatch. "And now there's that guy," Tony said with a groan as he got to his feet.

"Another Asgardian?" Natasha asked from her pilot's seat.

"That guy's a friendly?" Steve asked as he got to his feet.

"Doesn't matter. If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tesseract's lost," Tony said as he went to the open hatch.

"Stark, we need a plan of attack!" Yelizaveta protested.

"I have a plan, Catherine the Great. Attack," Tony said as he jumped out of the jet and ignited his jets.

Steve and Yelizaveta grabbed their parachutes. "Id sit this one out Cap, Vetty," Natasha said as she pressed buttons over her head.

"I don't see how I can," Steve said as they slipped on the parachutes.

"These guys come from legend. They're basically gods," Natasha said.

"There's only one God, ma'am. And I'm pretty sure He doesn't dress like that," Steve said as he grabbed his shield and he and Yelizaveta jumped out of the plane.
