Thank you TMNT 1 Fan for reviewing. I had every intention of updating...eventually.

Chat Noir skids to a halt as his transformation falls, Plagg floating over to his cheese sitting on Adrien's desk. Adrien himself stepped over to his bed to find Danny resting on it as Tucker and Sam sat on the couch farther away. "Any changes?"

Sam turns to him, worries etching her face, "In the last half hour? No." she sighed in thought about the other times Danny had been knocked out, either through exhaustion or from an attack by his enemies. "We don't even know how long he's been out."

"Ladybug figured out that Vlad Masters and Plasmius are the same, she wants to know why he's after Phantom." he rubbed a hand over the back of his neck, "I didn't say anything, didn't know what you wanted to let her know."

"It's alright, thank you, though." Sam tried to soothe his concerns, "Phantom and Ladybug will have to discuss it later, once he's up."

"Ladybug had been keeping secrets from you?" Tucker tactlessly asked, "But you're partners."

"There's this old guy of sorts that is mentoring Ladybug, he kind of has all the information."

"Dude, that's not right."

Adrien shrugged, then turned at the sound of knocking on his bedroom door. Wide eyes met with Sam and Tucker's who immediately turned to pick up Danny, he pointed them to his bathroom, "It's a good hiding spot."

Running back over to his door, he opened it to find Nathalie and Vlad, he shuffled a little on his feet, "Have you seen Danny?"

Nathalie's eyes narrowed at him, concern washing over her as she took a quick glance to the man next to her, "I was about to ask you the same thing."

Vlad allowed his shoulders to fall, showing that he was upset at the thought of Danny missing. "Perhaps, if I may take a look in his room to find any evidence?"

Adrien did his best not to glare at the man, he used all of his talent as a model to keep his face on a more neutral emotion considering the situation. "I can help. More people can spot what might've been looked over."

"Well, dear boy, you can look over Daniel's things. I have to check to make sure he hasn't tried to gone home." his phone alerted him, he checked it and a frown marked the confidence that was once exuded from him in waves. "In the mean time there is a meeting I must get to." he turned to the assistant, "Please keep me updated on Daniel's whereabout from now on, especially after he is found."

"Of course, Mr. Masters." she gave the two a nod and left.

Adrien closed the door, a stressed sigh escaping him when his back was stopped against it. He moved to the bathroom door to find Tucker peaking out.

"Is it safe?"

"He's gone."

They carried him back to the bed, "He?" Sam asked.

"Vlad was here asking about Danny." he dropped down on the couch, Plagg coming to rest on his head.

"Either he knows that he's been rescued, or he's only playing the part."

Another deep sigh filtered through him, "Does this always happen?"

"Back in Amity Park it's not bad because of other people, like his parents and us. Vlad can't touch him. He's in Paris, if he goes missing his parents won't even be concerned, only if he doesn't come home at the end of summer." She explained, Tucker nodding along.

Turning to the desk where a bunch of the ghost inventions laid, Adrien picked up one, accidentally turning it on.

"No ghost in area."

"What?" Sam gasped.

Tucker immediately stood to grab the device to look it over, "I haven't changed this one." he stated aloud, "I think this is the invention his parents made to call out the strength of the ghost."

"What's wrong?" Adrien asked.

"Just like every person's fingerprint is different, every ghost has there own ecto-signature." he explained, "It's why every invention is effected by him. Some of the more dangerous ones I can fix, so they don't target him."

"Why wasn't this one?"

Plagg was once again speaking poetry verses about his precious camembert.

"Plagg…"

"Holed camembert looses its flavor since it's missing its best parts."

"Dude, that stinks." Tucker deadpanned, holding onto his nose.

Adrien gasped, "He's right."

"Hmm!" Plagg flew off.

"Plagg, you're right." He picked up a piece of paper, the same one that still had his evidence of Vlad. "Danny said that the Ghost Zone and the human realm are tied together. Just like his ghost side and human side."

"The only person we can go to is Frostbite, in the zone." Sam stated, "We don't exactly have a way to get there."

"How'd you get here, then?" Adrien asked.

"A random portal appeared right in front of us while we were in the zone. I'm surprised we weren't in a different time period."

He looked at him in shock, questions he wanted to ask filtered through his mind but he had to keep focused, "I can go with."

"No. You should stay here." Sam told him, not leaving any room for an argument.

"But…"

"You're miraculous!" She shouted, then quieted, "It could be damaged by the ectoplasm of the ghost zone."

He looked down at his ring and pouted.

"Besides, you should stay here with Ladybug, and keep and eye out on Plasmius."

Tucker held out a pair of green communication devices.

"Use these, they filter out spectral noise and if anything happens, you can let us know."

"An akuma! Or something for Phantom?" Alya's voice shouted from the speakers of his computers, the Ladyblog already on screen. "A green portal, the same one that was sighted the night before, has appeared over the Eiffel Tower."

"Huh, maybe Clockwork did something?" Tucker turned to Sam, who was already preparing to sneak Danny back out of the house.

Adrien called on his transformation, "Where's the…speeder?"

"On the roof."

"How'd you even get in?"

"It's best not to ask."

Line Break

A general of the Far Frozen first spotted them when the speeder nearly flew into him. The machine hit into an ice cliff before stalling, Sam and Tucker climbing out with an unconscious Danny. The general was shocked by the sight, and with a few large strides towered over them, "What has happened?"

The two teenagers looked to the other, then back up at the very concerned Yeti.

"We think, Danny had been given something." Sam began, "His ghost side hasn't been activating any of his parents' inventions."

A dark look hovered over him, "Come, we shall see what is wrong. I will bring more of the tribe to repair your ship."

"The Great One and his friends have arrived." the general greeted Frostbite.

"Let's get him inside to the healer."

It had been only an hour when Frostbite had returned with news. "We have found what might have happened." his smile didn't reach his eyes. "The plant used is normally found in the more tropical regions of the Infinite Realms. Most of it is used to calm and provide pain relief, however when it is mixed with other potions it can become deadly. The healer has found that the potion used is in the Ecto-neural family, specifically Oisonken Ecto-neural. It is commonly known as Subliminal Mind. It's a poison that weakens his core so he can be controlled easily through a series of delusions that will make him think it's real. Whoever gave him it, doesn't realize he's been overdose to the point of killing his ghost half. His core is so tightly linked to his heart that it is in his DNA which is why he bleeds ectoplasm, even when he's human. But if his core is destroyed, the heart will basically be missing a greater part of him, essentially killing his human half as well."

Sam growled lowly, loud enough that some of the tribe paused and slowly backed away while Tucker's body just limped. Half relief that they know what the issue is but half fear that his best friend is essentially dying, permanently.

Frostbite sighed, but handed Sam a club, "There is a wall outside." Minutes later, Sam returned calmer, still some members of the tribe kept their distance. "There is an antidote. A core enhancer and a lot of willpower to return. Considering he's the great one with a pure heart, he'll be fine a couple of hours."

"We might not have a couple of hours." Tucker stated, "Danny needs to appear back in Paris shortly, Vlad's pulling something."

"What is the Great One doing in Paris?"

"His parents weren't happy with his grades, and Vlad Plasmius suggested living with someone his age in a different culture."

"Some secrets are indeed hard to keep, even though it seems like it's in the best interest of another, sometimes it is best to reveal those secrets to those closest to you so they can understand the situation better." Frostbite told them, "I believe that the Great One should tell his parents, they can understand why leaving home will do more harm than good."

"Maybe we should've brought Chat and Ladybug." Sam turned to Tucker, "Keeping secrets between partners isn't a good idea."

"What is going on in Paris?" He asked them, as he watched the healer enter and exit the cave.

"There's these two heroes who use magic to stop a supervillain from creating these evil butterflies, whose a little younger than us, and they don't even know each other identities." Sam scoffed at the ridiculousness of it all, "Ladybug has more information over her partner. I'm not sure of what is vital or what isn't but that kind of partnership might not last."

Frostbite hummed at her rant, seeing what she meant, "The not knowing identities, I can see why that is a good idea. Yet I do not know the full situation, and neither do you." he softly reprimanded her, "Though, of the partnership…tell them this when you return, when faced with darkness lean on others who can help, those others are the light that will defeat the darkness. Your allies are the brightest light, for they understand the burden you carry and help you shoulder the weight."

"Sam?"

Sam flinched at the cracking of the audio through the Fenton Phones, completely forgetting about giving Adrien a pair of them, "Chat?"

"Sam!" he shouted, "Phantom's attacking the city, there's nothing we can really do."

She heard him grunt through the device, "Danny is here, he can't be."

"I know, and Ladybug is trusting my judgement. The rest of Paris is another story."

"I-" she stared at the entrance of the cave that Danny resided with the healer.

"Go help them." Frostbite told her, "I will give you the Infimap, but please be sure to have the Great One get it back." he walked off.

"We'll be there shortly to help."

One more chapter after this.

I always see Frostbite as this wise mentor to Danny, Sam, and Tucker. So finding out about the situation from them, he may give some advice for LB and Chat.

I worked 2 weeks straight with one day off in between.
