Said "heist" was to commence at two that morning. It was a Saturday in the early hours. Some bars in Tokyo would be open until near-dawn, but they didn't need open drinks- they were in more of a booze-store need.
"There's a konbini* down the road." Hitoshi offered to Bakugo.
*a Japanese convenience store that typically sells alcohol
"Nope. Too close." Katsuki told Shinso. "That's where a teacher would go, hypothetically. We need to take a train, but they've shut down for the day. Kaminari is keeping the images still on the monitors until five. We HAVE to be back by then."
"Goddamn." Hitoshi muttered. "There's NOTHING near us in Musutafu." He looked up at Bakugo. "We GOTTA go to the local one. If not, we're taking a cab."
"Fine. But I'll watch for teachers- you buy the goods." Katsuki ordered.
Shinso nodded. They walked beside each other, following the map on Hitoshi's phone. When they arrived, it took slightly longer than Katsuki was comfortable with. As he walked into the store, rereading his WHERE THE FUCK R U?! Text, he slammed the glass door INTO Shinso, making him drop a single beer, just outside the store.
"Sorry! Shit!" Hitoshi cursed, as the dented can sprayed onto their shoes outside the doorway, on the concrete.
Bakugo growled and kicked it away, sputtering it everywhere even more and now it exploded from the internalized pressure, getting beer on the both of them. "JUST GO." Katsuki grumbled, taking Shinso away by the sleeve, quickly. He took two packs of beer and a plastic convenience store bag with small bottles of something clear that read 52% alcohol content. Hm. That would be interesting.
They walked in the darkness, Denki opening the back doors for them and then the games began- freezing one security camera, bolting down the hallway, before freezing another. At one point, they could hear steps on the stairwells and had no choice but to duck into the elevator and hide. Steps came closer. It was Mr. Yamada.
"What's he doing up?!" Kaminari panicked, spamming the 'down' button as hard and as fast as he could.
The elevator whorled to life and they collectively sighed as they were lowered a floor. They made it to Bakugo's room and stored a few bottles and a six pack in there before hiding some in Hitsohi's room. The rest, they would separate into Denki and Eijiro's rooms.
Seven AM rolled around and none of the heist boys got up, which Hizashi found odd. Bakugo, Kirishima, and Kaminari usually went together on Saturday mornings, but no one showed up to sign out. Yamada waited at the front desk when All Might walked past.
"Heard you doing rounds this morning, too." He said.
Toshinori looked at Mic, confused. "Me?"
"Yeah- you took the elevator- right?" Mic asked.
All Might looked around. "Mic, I was off last night. Was it Nemuri?"
Hizashi thought. No- Midnight was stuck doing paperwork for all of the discipline reports. He shook his head. "I'll ask..."
He leaned back in the office chair at the lobby desk and sent a text. She was still up... somehow.
Were you on rounds at 5am? Take the elevator by chance?- Present Mic

"Well?" Toshinori finally asked after waiting for two minutes. Mic stood.
"SOMEONE was up." Hizashi confirmed. "I'm off to check the video footage."
Bakugo pulled away from the door. He shot a text to "Heist Squad"

Silently, 1-by-1, the boys left to hide their alcohol in a trash bag that was folded behind a dumpster. When they got back inside, Mic was knocking on Hitoshi's door, Aizawa at Bakugo's, Midnight was at Kaminari's, and All Might at Kirishima's. No one answered.
"WHERE were you?" Mic asked Hitoshi, as Aizawa phoned into All Might and Midnight that the boys were downstairs.
"Out." Katsuki said. The Heist Squad silently vowed to let Bakugo do the talking.
"R&C." Aizawa ordered. "All four of you."
The boys swallowed and walked past the front desk to the back wall of the first floor lobby before Mic unlocked the room. Aizawa was SUPPOSED to be off, but in fear that villains messed with the cameras, he could not go to sleep and was hyper-vigilant.
"Write down WHERE you were at the following times:" Mic began. "Dinner. 8pm. 10pm. 2am. 4:16am. And 7am"
Bakugo swallowed and picked up his pen.
Grounded- 1st floor, Studying ASL, 1st floor, 1st floor, 1st floor, Outside.
Kirishima's was far more honest.
Asleep. Asleep. Asleep. Asleep. Asleep. Gym.
Kaminari remained calm..
Dining Hall, then 1-A dorms until breakfast at 7am
Hitoshi, however, panicked.
Dining Hall, 1st floor room until 7am, Dining Hall
Aizawa seized the papers and then asked for their phones. They would find nothing, but the boys were still nervous.
"All of their answers are more-or-less the same until 7am..." Aizawa said aloud.
"Stay." Mic told them, leaving and returning with a laptop. He scanned through the nighttime footage. Everything seemed perfect until they looked at the clocks in the footage. It didn't match.
"Kaminari's been messing with the footage, I note." Mic said, under his breath, loud enough for Denki to hear.
"Okay." Aizawa said, closing the laptop. "Stay here. We will commence room searches. I expect silence."
An announcement came over the loudspeakers in the common rooms that students were expected to wake up, strip their beds, and head to breakfast or the gym, but to leave everything, excluding their phones (they could have those, alone), and not enter until they were called back within the next 6 hours.
Students filed down the stairs and left. All Might checked them all out of their rooms.
Shinso felt nerves like never before. He worried that he was going to have a stress-urination episode. He stood up and waved Yamada over before whispering.
"Mr.-Mr. Yamada, sir. I, uh, need to go do something." He said, before pulling back and looking away. With sign language, he finger-spelled "D-I-A-P-E-R." and once Hizashi understood, he took Hitoshi out and to his room, across the floor.
As they walked, Mic tried an interrogation. "You know that you face expulsion if we find anything. Where were you, young man?"
Shinso ran to his room and unlocked the door. "I'll be quick."
"I have to watch you, kid. I'm sorry." Hizashi apologized, stopping the closing door. "I won't look directly at you."
Shinso felt himself get physically ill from guilt as he stripped down his pants and pulled up a padded brief. He slipped his pants back on and turned around to follow Mic back to the Discipline Room.
It was two hours of silence in the Reflection and Correction room before all of the dorms were cleared. It was two minutes of agony from the time they announced that they were checking the trash dumpster to the time they found the alcohol.
"Gentlemen." Aizawa said, standing up. "You may remain seated. Principal Nezu has graced us with a visit." Eraserhead went into the hallway and spoke with his superior, All Might, Present Mic, and Midnight. When Shota walked back into the room, the boys were starting to sweat and had remained so still that the automatic lights had turned off. The sat, fingers laced, staring at their hands, atop the desks.
"It's a weeks suspension and 50 swats with an implement for your actions." Aizawa said, coldy.
He had voted to expel the students and reaccept them at the beginning of next term, making them wear down psychologically for a month as they return to their parents, but knowing that Shinso would end up, possibly, in foster care changed his mind.
Hitoshi shifted, uncomfortably. He thought that he was going to urinate in his diaper if there was much more tension.
Yamada and All Might had already began making calls to parents and the Bakugo's were first to pick up.
"Bakugo Residence, to who am I speaking with?" Came a female voice.
"Yamada Hitoshi, ma'am. Present Mic. I am an administrator at your son, Katsuki's school, UA." Mic began
"Is he ok?" Was the mother's first question.
"Safely in his dorm's Discipline Room, awaiting on your call. He faces expulsion unless we are given express permission to suspend him for a week and paddle him. Unfortunately, the details are still coming out, but we know your son left campus to purchase alcohol underage at the local town konbini."
There was silence for a second before a throat clear and vocal change. "Please. Spank him as you need. Better you correct him than I murder my child. Can I talk with him?"
Mic felt bad for Katsuki, suddenly. "Of course, Mrs. Bakugo." He said, before opening the door and signaling for Bakugo. The boy stood and Mic signed "mom" before handing the phone over.
"Yeah?" The teen indignantly asked.
"Do NOT 'yeah?' me, Katsuki! What were you thinking?! Do not MAKE me come there and tan you out in front of your friends. What?! Do you think you're so bad and cool? Remember this summer when you got to deal with a spanking in the backyard and having your bottom on display in the living room? YEAH. Consider this a WARNING. Shape up and don't let me EVER hear about this again."
At this point, Katsuki couldn't move or do anything because he was mortified. Frozen, he moved only his arm, handing back the phone. He asked to go to the bathroom and gripped the sides of the sink, splashing water in his face. Shape up, shape up, SHAPE UP! He screamed in his head before punching the mirror. It hurt.
Yamada dialed Kirshima's parents next and they had a similar response: give him the paddling.
The Kaminari's threatened to do it themselves, to which Denki paled and promised to behave.
When it came time to dial anyone for Hitoshi, Mic stopped. There really was no one. He called Nezu and asked what to do.
"Shinso Hitoshi has no family. He's up for adoption. Has been for 13 years. No one seems to want a brainwash quirked child or teen, sadly." Nezu informed, as he read through the boy's file.
Mic thanked him and hung up. Him and Aizawa had been talking about adopting Eri. What's one more kid? He sighed. Guess Shinso would have to choose if he wanted expulsion to a state home or a paddling.
"Are you kidding?" Shinso asked, flatly, but surprised. "Would I rather get a spanking or be homeless? I'll take the paddling." He said.
Aizawa walked in. "Where's Bakugo?"
"Bathroom, I presume... still." Yamada informed.
Shota turned around and walked out of the Discipline Room to the lobby floor bathroom, where he found Katsuki rocking himself. He had tears burning in the corner of his eyes but did not cry out. "My office, school building. Come."
Bakugo turned on his heel and followed. He was tired and nervous. "My parents can't find out." Katsuki spoke, midway across the path that led to UA High School's building.
"Hm?" Aizawa posed, turning his head to ask the teen, who was dragging his feet.
"It was my idea to buy the alcohol." Bakugo admitted. "Hagakure saw me enter Kirshima's room. Kaminari heard. So I had to keep up everyone's assumption that we were drinking buddies. I- we- no one even got a SIP of booze. So PLEASE- don't do this." He begged, standing outside of Eraserhead's door.
"Come in." Aizawa ordered. "And sit."
Katsuki swallowed. "Can I change your mind?"
"No." Shota replied, seriously. "But I will listen to you. You may begin. I know your statement was full of bullshit. I'll take your testimony now."
...and so it began for Katsuki Bakugo.
