I couldn't help but feel excited! Can you blame me? Luxion is not only an incredibly versatile powerhouse, but he's one of the funniest AI out there! Mofo was the best character in the whole story!

I started walking across the gangplank, watching out for any hint of ambush. When I had made it to the ship's access hatch, I used flame magic to burn away the vines covering the door. I then swiped the key card through the security slot, causing a green light to flash, and the door to slide open.

The inside of the ship was like stepping into the Tantive IV. Clean white walls with hidden lights blanketing the whole interior with a soft white light. Walking towards the bridge, I took note of many plush, but clearly synthetic, smooth black chairs. There were a number of glowing blue lines present, as well as see-through screens with various pieces of data on them.

"They definitely nailed the futuristic aesthetic, didn't they?"

It took me six minutes and half a dozen sets of smooth white and blue stairs before I finally was standing in front of the door leading to the bridge.

I did a last minute gear check well trying to decide what to do next.

"Do I go in there speaking English and try to reason with him; or do I fight his robot body, then reason with him? Decisions, decisions. On one hand I could save myself the fight; on the other hand, he could agree to let me pass before attacking me from behind. Hmmmm, screw it! We are going in guns blazing!"

The door slide open for me, revealing a spacious bridge with a number of data screens lining the walls, several crew stations, a centralized Captain's chair, and Luxion's roughly 5 meter (16.4 foot) tall robot combat form. It looked just like it did in the manga; a smooth leg portion almost like a dress growing into the floor, a large triangular upper body with massive limbs, and a helmet with a central red eye.

As the robot booted up, I lined up my sight with its optical sensor, and fired a three round burst. Pffffft, pffffft, pffffft. The first round cracked the protective glass, the second shattered it, and the third made it in. ZZZZT. The robot was stunned before falling still.

"Well sh*t, that was easy!"

I started to approach the console before I heard Luxion say, "primary optic disabled, switching to external tracking mode." With that, the robot stood straight and swung at me.

"What the h*ll! Do you have a secondary eye or what?!" I barely managed to avoid getting smashed.

"Correction, I am managing attack parameters through external tracking."

"Wait! Does that mean your using the ships interior cameras to control this thing?!"

"Correct, I am surprised that a new Human could figure it out, and so quickly. Then again, your equipment does suggest that you are familiar with such technology." It responded while throwing a left hook.

"You could say that you overgrown bucket of bolts!" I slipped out of reach and start to unload my rifle's mag into the right shoulder, hoping to disable it.

After dumping half my mag into it, the arm started to smoke. I was about to get excited before I heard Luxion say, "magical damage sustained. Deploying anti-magic barrier."

After hearing that, I knew my current weapons weren't going to do anything to him, so I dropped my rifle and disengaged.

"Ya know, I was hoping I could finish this fight with out using that, but you left me no choice." I concentrated and pulled Excalibur from the armory. I held the sword in front of me, tip pointed to the ceiling. "Sorry Luxion, but this fight is over." I charged mana in the blade, and rushed the bot faster than it could react. Bringing the mana burst down, I cut cleaning the robot clean in half. "Omae wa mou shindeiru."

The smaller part of the robot fell from the rest of its body, making a loud clang ring out. For a few seconds, only the echoes remained. Then Luxion spoke through the ships speakers, "Nihongo o hanasemasu ka? (You can speak Japanese?)"

"Hai, dekimasu (yes I can). What kind of reincarnator would I be if I couldn't?" I stated the last part in standard English. The sad fact was that only the memories crammed in my head from the original's past life was the only reason why I could speak it.

"When you say reincarnator, are you claiming to have died and be born again?"

"Yes sir! I was an American last time around."

Luxion spoke with a dangerous edge, "You claim to be American, but you spoke fluent Japanese?"

"Oh yeah. You see Luxion, I was a huge weeb. I slowly learned the language so that I could watch episodes when they aired, without needing the subtitles."

"I'm afraid I don't have the word 'weeb' registered in my databanks. Can you elaborate its meaning?"

I walked towards the destroyed robot and picked up my rifle before responding, "weeb is the shortened version of weeaboo. If you're a weeaboo, then you are a westerner who really likes Japanese sh*t, like katanas, manga, and anime. Make sense?"

"Databanks updated with entry, weeaboo. Now then, what are your intentions here?"

I cracked my, neck which wasn't yet used to how fast I can move. "I'm going to go to that control console. I'm then going to select English, and your going to scan my genetic data. You are going to then accept me as your new owner, and we are going to work together to build a better future. Kapeesh?" Communication Talent was telling me to keep Luxion on the backfoot in order to convince him.

"I will not allow a new human to utilize my capabilities. I would rather detonate my reactor than betray my creators."

I just laughed, "what if this reincarnator's DNA contains old human genetic information? Will you still destroy yourself, killing the last link to your builders? Remember Luxion, you are an colonization vessel, meant to harbor man, not destroy them."

"I don't have any records of the name Luxion. The possibility of a human of this day and age contain such genetic information is 0.000062%; further more, it is unlikely from the observed technology level of your kind, that you have the capacity to determine such a thing."

"But you do."

Luxion remained silent for several seconds before coming to a decision. "Very well, proceed."

I needed no further encouragement. I quickly walked over to the console and selected English before letting Luxion scan my body, while praying that my servant body still had Leon's original DNA.

"Old Human DNA detected, commanding officer registered. It would seem that your claims are not unfounded, though I wonder how this could be?"

"Call it a protagonists intuition," I say while pretending to stretch.

"That would imply that anyone would want to read a story about someone like you."

My eye twitched a little. "You know, for some one so advanced your insults are quite primitive."

"You should understand being primitive, reverting to a sword when a 21st century firearm wasn't sufficient."

"And pray tell, who was defeated by that primitive sword?"

"You only defeated a lesser combat form."

"Whatever you say sourpuss."

Luxion seemed to have no response to that little nickname, allowing me to enjoy my sweet victory over the sarcastic AI. Then, I began to plan what my next steps will be now that the hardest part of this journey is over.

AN: Okay, so I now that this was pretty short, and rather late, but I had a hard time figuring out how I wanted this to go. Also, I forgot to upload this to Fanfic for several days after the chapter was released to the other sites I write on. Life keeps getting in the way, so I will probably only be able to release one chapter a week. So I want to let you guys know that I will be following the main story quite closely, well trying to make the MC far less annoying like in the novels because I guess the only way an isekai protag can only be a bad*ss if they are edgy to the extreme like Nagumo from Arifureta. Anywho, I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter as I tried to make the dialogue as interesting as possible.
