Chapter 6 No Regrets.
Punch Nora- 8
Leave Trok- 0
As of the rounded-up votes for this day, it is no surprise that Trok had the favor of winning. Simply because most of everyone either they love the personality of Trok, or they want Isaiah to beat up Nora. Honestly the reason that I had this choice up is to see if anyone would want to see that Isaiah abandoned Trok. Thankfully everyone wants to see this choice through.
BUT WHY DO YOU GUYS WANT ISAIAH TO DIE?!
Well, we will see after the confrontation how this will end up.
Oh and as a side note for Karasu, sorry for those who view her to be a bit underwhelming as a side villain. But do not worry, she will get better with time and put up more of a fight next time (spoiler kinda?). It was a small introduction after all.
And another side note, I hope you guys like a bit of references and memes from other anime and games.
-Punch Nora-
-Leave Trok to die-
Staying silent for a good minute with Nora continuing to raise her voice at me, I can hear the other 2 Nords catching up to us. Trok was leaned up against the wall, I was on my knee looking at Nora with an unreadable face, and Nora was still talking about abandonment.
"Jester, enough of this foolishness. Leave him." Nora said as she grabbed my arm, lifting me up from the ground.
All I saw, was RED.
When I was picked up by one arm, I swung my other arm at Nora, who caught it just in the nick of time, with my fists an inch away from Nora.
"…What… Are you doing…" Nora dangerously said to me with her eyes narrowed at me as she effortlessly held the raging fist.
I yelled in a rage as I then tried to pull my other arm away and punch Nora, but she also held onto my arm firmly as I was struggling to break away from her.
"Jester. Stop this. Or I will seriously hurt-(SLAM!)"
I interrupted Nora with a solid headbutt to her face as she recoiled back in pain while pushing me away clutching her face with one hand.
Blood was leaking through her fingers, from her nose. Anger rose from her emotions as she had harshly forced air from her nose, emptying blood out her nose. Nora looked at me with the expectancy of a crumbling milk-drinker cowering in fear. But to her surprise, she had saw a resolve of a person who is standing their ground with resolute eyes facing their opponent.
"Heal Trok, now." I said with a firm stance with no sign of backing down.
Realizing that I wasn't backing down, she had slowly taken a brawling stance in preparation of battle.
"…So you have chosen death…" Nora spoke in a harden voice as she prepared to fight.
"Stop both of you. This isn't the time-" Hadvar tried to stop us, but Ralof held Hadvar's shoulder, making him turn his head in surprise.
"Let them sort this out on their own. A true warrior speaks with their fists, not their words. And this is the first that I have seen Jester stand his ground against Nora with such confidence in his eyes. If things get out of hand and Nora goes for the kill on him, we both stop the fight." Ralof said with Hadvar reluctantly backing down.
I made the first charge as I tried to land the first punch, but I was severely out skilled and was countered by a punch she threw at me. My ears began to ring from the counter as I stumbled back with my vision blurring from the counter. I shook it off and charged at her again and again with a yelling charge determined to at least get a second hit on her.
The next punch I threw was dodged and countered with a counter punch to the face. This time, it really hurt. It didn't help that her gauntlets were made of iron, and with her counters being slammed into my face. It really knocked me almost to unconsciousness. But I wasn't going to let my body fall just yet.
As I threw another right punch, Nora had caught it and was about to go for another counter. But I had been waiting for her to catch it. Just as Nora had caught it, I yanked down on the caught fist, and I had also kneed Nora with my left leg, to which to my surprise caught Nora off guard as I landed a solid attack with her face scrunching in a bit of pain as a result.
As I was about to follow up with another attack, Nora swiftly had landed a right hook on me right in the side of the jaw. And from there, I was going to fall over from the sudden pain and almost blacking out.
It took sheer will to just stay conscious, but I was still going to fall over from the lack of balance. To my surprise and terror, I was caught by the collar of my leather armor and pulled back to receive punches back-to-back.
"What do you hope to get when helping this criminal? (Punch!)"
"You think that redeeming a bandit is that easy?! (Punch!)"
"ALL bandits are nothing but pieces of shit! There is nothing to say in defense of them! (Punch!)
"Raiding farms, burning villages, and killing folks on the road. (Punch!)"
"You DO know what they do to, prisoners, specifically female prisoners, RIGHT?! (Punch!)"
"Well, I don't need to go into details with you being as smart as you are, I don't have to give you a hint on what they wouldn't do! (Punch!)"
The beating suddenly stopped. My vision was in between blurry, bloody, and swollen shut on the right side. My face stings with cuts and bruises decorating it, and I am breathing deeply. I stared at Nora with a harden face as she stared back at me.
"You started this fight knowing damn well that I can kick your ass from the beginning, and for what?! Just to save some shitty bandit!? Well, what now? No witty comeback? No childish complaint? ANSWER ME!" Nora yelled at me with anger.
"…Heal…(COUGH)…Trok…" Was all I said as I stared at her with the same expression I held at the beginning of the bout.
Nora stared at me for a few seconds and threw me down to the ground as I grunted upon impact as the adrenaline was now wearing off. Nora had approached Trok while drawing out her war axe.
I knew exactly what was going to happen next as I then started to crawl with what strength was left in my arms and ignoring the pain that was quickly overwhelming me, I slowly approached Trok and Nora, who was about to swing her axe on Trok.
Just as Nora was going in motion of the swing, I grabbed her ankle as she stopped by an inch from Trok's face. With a quick glare she had saw that I was not looking back, not moving at all. All that was notable was a stern grip that hugged Nora's ankle like a shackle…
Nora's POV
I stared at the unconscious body of Jester as he still had a solid grip on me. After suffering a beat down from me, he still has the guts and strength to even stop me from killing another shitty bandit.
"…Why would you save him…" I found myself asking a question that I struggled to comprehend for a bandit.
I found myself struggling to hold back the increasingly heavy axe in my hand that screamed to be let down on the bandit. Memories flashed back to the worst part of my life. What they did to me.
I lifted the axe above my head and swung with full raging force.
(SMASH!)
…Against the wall that was next to the bandit.
"…D-damn you Jester… You better have a damn good reason why I am giving a chance to the literal scum of the people." I gritted my teeth as I prepared a cure poison spell.
Frostbite spider bite marks were on the bandit, so I would assume that he would be close to death with the poison nearly killing him. As I casted the spell, I can see that the Orc bandit was now breathing a bit better. He will live for now.
'That is all I am going to do for you. You better thank your lucky stars that Jester put up a decent fight for you. Otherwise, I would see that you would join your other scum friends in Oblivion.' I thought angrily to myself.
I lightly kicked away Jester's hand off of my leg and grabbed him by the front collar of his armor. I dragged him to another wall to set him up for healing the damage that I had done against him. Bloodied face with cuts and bruises from my gauntlets, definitely a fractured skull, broken nose, and concussion. I better get to work.
Who would have thought that a weakling like him could last that long, taking blow after blow against someone strong like me. Even landing a few unexpected hits was unexpected from someone like him. Even after all that has happened, I cannot help but to feel a bit more respect for him.
After healing the immediate wounds, I slung Jester over my shoulder, and continued to slowly use 'healing hands' to continue to heal Jester.
"Ralof, Hadvar, Lets go." I said while turning to the other Nords as Ralof placed one of his healing potions next to the Orc bandit right before we left.
But damn… my body feels sluggish after all the healing and fighting I have done. Hopefully this quest ends soon, I'm not sure that I am able to handle much more.
Sworn enemies becoming close friends and rivals, as opposed to best friends and allies becoming the greatest villains or obstacles. Who is to say what is set in stone when Fate unveils what is to be? Oracles? Gods? Devils?
The wheel of the future is always changing, molding, and forging evermore paths to be traveled on. Nothing is to be predicted exactly as it is told, but how it is bound to be at the end.
Hold tight to what is righteous and follow that path to the bitter end and see where it leads to. For only those who are true to themselves are the strongest among their peers, bringing joy and satisfaction to others along their way.
…And those who fall off that path for a more menial means, would only bring pain and misfortune with those who follow…
I woke up to the sound of running water as I see that we are in the deeper part of the barrow where there is a small water flow into the cave that is blocked off by a gate. A dead draugr that was laying next to its coffin tomb, and Ralof and Hadvar sitting down by the running water, washing their faces.
There was that thing again… A message of some sort? It's pretty cryptic and like the last one, it hinted at something dark that I don't want to even get into.
I can feel that I have been healed, if I feel rejuvenated means anything, but my face feels a bit sore-wait, WHAT HAPPENED TO TROK!?
I looked around to find Nora leaning up against the doorway with her arms crossed. I jumped up from where I was to confront her.
"NORA!" I yelled out to get Nora's attention, to which she lazily opened her eyes.
I ran up to her face and looked at her in the eyes.
"What happened to Trok?" I demanded.
"(Sigh) I cured the frostbite poison in his system, but that is far as I am willing to go for healing anyone outside of our group, which I am going to tell you that I am nearly out of magicka because of healing you, the others, and myself. Ralof left a healing potion for him. It will be up to him if he wants to live or not. It is not my problem if he dies right then and there if he was that weak." Nora sighed as she pushed me away from her.
I huffed in annoyance as I had gone to the gate that lead further into the barrow and pulled the chain to open the way forward.
"Uh, where are you going? We are all resting up. I highly suggest that you also rest up for at least 15 minutes before we continue." Nora questioned me as I was making my way forward.
"I'll be fine. I'm just going to go for a walk to the waterfall up ahead. I won't get into trouble. If I do, I'll yell and run back here." I said while going deeper into the cave.
"At least take a weapon!" Nora called out, but I ignored her and flipped her off as I went further into the cave.
(Play 'Waterfall' from Undertale)
I made a few sharp turns, before reaching a larger cave that had the running water turn into a guiding river that turned into a sounding waterfall further ahead. There were big rocks all around the cave, big enough to sit on, so I obliged to sit on a dry rock next to the flowing water.
I sat on the rock staring at the water flowing. After staring into the flowing water for what seemed like forever, I felt like I was suffocating as tears started flowing from my eyes. I started crying.
"D-damn it…" I tried to stop the tears from flowing, but they were becoming too much to bare.
I realized that I was stressed out by the recent events overcoming me as I recalled everything that I had experience. Home sickness, the constant pressure that I am being watched by higher entities that can and will probably kill me just to pass the time, Nora's constant bullying, but the biggest thing by far is that I am too weak to do anything myself. It was pathetic for me to be constantly saved by other people over, and over, and over.
WHEN DO I GET STRONGER!?
A familiar laughter was echoing the room as I stood at attention and grabbed at my nonexistent sword, before grabbing two good size rocks to hurl at the laughing entity.
I looked around the area to see that the cave was empty, before noticing that there was something abnormal in the water. A reflection of myself, but it looked different. It was Quin before he underwent the change to a Daedric Prince, but there were key differences between me and him, namely the clothing of a battle emperor. And he was talking to me.
"So… The little entertainer wants to get stronger, aye? How adorable, maybe I can be of use?" The reflection spoke as it slowly turned into a Daedra.
My stomach began to burn from the mere sight of him. In anger, and in fear of what he has done.
"What the hell do you want?!" I shouted in anger.
"Woah, what is with all of the hostilities? Can I not say hi to a good friend of mine?" The Daedric prince said casually.
"After all the pain and suffering that this world has given me, that you had made me go through, YOU THINK I WOULD SEE YOU AS A 'FRIEND' OF ALL THINGS?!" I yelled in anger as I chucked a rock at the head of the reflection.
"Now-now, let us not get too antsy here and throw a fit over spilt milk or blood. But why are you mad at me for? Oh whatever did I do to deserve such hostile treatment?" Quin said in a dramatic manner.
"You threw me from a damn portal high up from the sky that nearly fucking killed me, this world just had to be Skyrim of all places with no word of my consent what-so-ever and no supplies to even survive in such a place, and you impaled me sealing fucking only god knows what inside of me!" I yelled out to Quin.
"That's what she said." Quin chuckled.
I can feel the anger boiling up faster and faster inside of me.
"Calm down, I am not just here to make fun of you. Well, not at the start anyways. Quite the opposite actually. Just wanted to congratulate you on-" Quin tried to calm me down, but I interrupted him.
"I don't want to hear ANYTHING about what you have to say! GET OUT, GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" I yelled as I threw the other rock at the reflection in the water.
[Song stop]
The usual smile that was on his face vanished, leaving a cold and distant look. Bloodlust emitted from the reflection, and it made my body freeze in fear.
"Fine, remain ignorant of what I have to say… But know this. The next time we meet personally, I WILL be taking you with me whether you like it or not… And it will NOT be as pleasant as the last time."
The sound of his Daedric voice echoed through the cave, and I was in shock of the dramatic change of personality. Something inside of me snapped, and I got angry at the threat, and broke out of the state of shock, grabbed a stone, and started to attack the water reflection in a fit of rage with the stone slamming against the shallow water repeatedly. It was freezing cold, but I didn't care.
(SPLASH, SPLASH, SPLASH, SPLASH)
"I am NOT! (SPLASH) Some damn toy, (SPLASH) You can fool around with! (SPLASH) Whenever you damn well please! (SPLASH) I won't let you control my life with fear anymore! (SPLASH) I'll find my own way out of this shitty world you brought me into! (SPLASH) And when I get my hands on you. (SPLASH)"
"I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!"
(SMASH!)
The rock I had in my hands shattered as I had roared out in pure anger at the water. I wanted to destroy everything around me in a fit of rage that felt suffocating to be in.
"Jester?"
A voice called out to me as I snapped out of my raging fit. I looked to the location where the voice was heard and found that my group was there with weapons out and distant stares.
Hadvar looked bewildered, Ralof looked concern, yet fearful, and even Nora had a bit of a scared or shocked look, something that I didn't even know that she was capable of.
It was safe to assume that they saw what happened, if not the 'me going wild' part. Nonetheless, I got out of the freezing water, grabbing a different large stone and continuing deeper into the cave. I didn't want them to see me, nor did I want to see them. I just wanted to be alone.
They were calling out my name, but I continued on at a faster pace, I was running away from them. Going around the waterfall, I came to the rock bridge where a lone Draugr spotted me… An oddly over muscular Draugr… and it spoke in an uncanny, but understandable dialect.
"Ho? You are approaching me?" It spoke in a zombie like tone while opening its arms out blocking my way.
Despite what it was doing, I kept running towards it.
"Instead of running away, you are running towards me-(Smash!) BRA-GAH!" I interrupted its speech and smashed the rock I had into the side of its skull, pushing it off the bridge, and I kept running.
"WRYYYYYYyyyyyyy….!" The Draugr screeched as it fell down with waterfall with the sound fading.
The fuck?!
…Ignoring the sudden reference, I ran to the next part of the cave that converted back to Nordic structures and stopped just before the door to the next room to catch my breath. Nora and the others had shortly caught up to me.
"Ok, I'm just going to say it. What in Oblivion was that about Jester?" Hadvar spoke out to me.
"I don't want to say anything to you three. And NO, I don't want to fucking talk about it later. So just drop it and leave it be." I harshly told them as I was opening the door to the next area, to which they looked more concern, Nora being a bit more apathetic.
"Jester." Nora said my name in a more serious voice, stopping me in place.
"…I'm just tired… I just want to sleep with no worries… But I don't think… I just… (Sigh…) Let's just get this shit over with so we can get out of here." Was all I said as I entered the next area with the others following.
The trip to the hall of stories and the final gate was pretty quiet. Aside from a few draugr to be 'place to rest again' its been pretty quiet. I can tell that they want to ask what happened, but I don't think that adding more stress to the situation of dragons and the Daedric princes lunacy to the equation is going to go well. A lot of stuff is already in the air, and I want my personal problems to not be in the mixed.
I have obtained an Ancient Nordic sword as a replacement for my other sword, much to my dislike on how unbalance it was. A weapon is still a weapon. And we will need all the weapons against the draugr deathlord that we might be up against.
A Draugr Deathlord is a much more difficult draugr to take down. By the fact that they have more heath, possibly enchanted weapons, and some 'shouts' at their disposal. Specifically the Unrelenting force shout and the disarm shout. They can be REALLY annoying to deal with.
But with our numbers, and by the fact that we have power houses that have managed to survive that behemoth bone bastard and its master, a pack of bandits, and my ranting. We should have little to no problem wailing on it until it dies. I get the word of power for 'Fus' and we get the dragon stone, then return to Riverwood for rest.
Looking around the hall of stories, I have seen carvings of the old Nords worshiping the dragons or being enslaved by them. While I would usually like to try to see what it was trying to say, I was already having a bad day, and my fucks to give are already in the negative.
"A locked door… and by the looks of it, we need some sort of key with three holes… how do we get in? The walls don't seem to give any clues on how we get in." Hadvar said while looking at the door and walls.
"We use the claw that we got from the bandits to open the door." I replied.
"Claw? What claw-we forgot about Lucian's golden claw, didn't we…?" Ralof slumped his shoulders in despair.
"No. I got it here." I said while pulling out a bloodstained golden claw.
"Huh… well, you know the code pattern?" Ralof replied questioning.
"Again, I got it here. All dragon claws have the pattern to their respective doors on the palm of themselves. It's hard not to get that once you look at it yourself." I answered Ralof while trying to switch the patterns on the door to what the golden claw had.
"Umm… A little help?" I meekly asked.
Hadvar had helped with changing the dials to the following order:
Bear
Moth
Owl
Once the animals were aligned, I made sure that it was the correct order, unless we were to suffer poison darts like the idiot bandit from the first puzzle.
"…Ok, now what?" Nora said with an unimpressed tone after seeing that the door did not open.
"Now. We fit the dragon claw into the keyholes, press into it, and it will open." I replied to Nora.
"…If I am wrong, we all die." I spoke quickly as I pressed the golden claw.
"""Wait-WHAT?!"""
All Nords shouted in unison as the door started to shake and slowly lower into the ground.
"…I sometimes just don't know whether to take you seriously or not." Hadvar said with me glancing back to see their reactions.
As much as I want to say something witty, I just don't have the mindset to do so.
As the gate fully opened, we stepped through and saw that the cave showed a small shrine like structure that was bigger than the one in game. The word wall was stationed at the top right of the structure as in the game. The natural light had shined a blue hue on it, hinting that it was in the afternoon, transitioning to dusk.
"Ok guys. Bandits have been stopped, golden claw has been used and is ready to be given back to Lucian, and last thing to do is to get the dragon stone and observe the word wall and go home." I summarized.
"Wait, 'word wall'? What is that and why is that important? I thought that we just get the dragon stone and get out of here." Ralof said in confusion.
"Simple answer. You see, these specific walls have ancient words of power that are to be learned from by the dragonborn. I need them for me to quote on quote "understand" the word of power that it holds." I explained.
"Wait, are you saying…" Nora eyes widen in shock as the other two Nords also followed in a realization to what I was going to imply.
"Yes, and sorry for the late introduction. I am the last Dragonborn. As well as the future savior and hero of Skyrim." I proudly boasted, revealing one of my secrets.
The Nords stared in disbelief as I let them suck in the truth.
…And they busted out laughing.
I remained silent as my mental state had been damaged once again.
"You will all see… Then we will see who is laughing." I turned around muttering as I started walking across the bridge with the laughter dying down.
"Heh, Jester, sorry for the outburst. Please don't take it personally. But all of the Dragonborn have been shown to be powerful people. Almost all of their deeds were considered to be feats of legends. Take Martin Septim for example. He had taken down, and sent the Daedric prince, Mehrunes Dagon the god of destruction, back to Oblivion and stopped the worst part of the Oblivion Crisis. And he himself was quite the leader of an empire. Compare that to you, no offence, the most that you have done was convince your way into a bandit facility, which is impressive, but not destroying an entire encampment of bandits impressive." Hadvar stated.
My mood instantly soured.
"Shut it. I don't want to hear anyone talk about anything. Lets get the dragon stone and prepare to fight a powerful draugr. Gang up on him once he pops up from his tomb and he won't stand a chance." I spoke in annoyance.
"Sounds good to me. The sooner we get out of here, the better. This place is starting to get to me." Ralof slightly cheered. "Uhh… what does this object that we are trying to find look like?"
"It is a pentagon shape, with old writing on it. A large gray stone slab that looks like it is important, weighs around twenty, twenty-five pounds maybe. Hard to miss." I replied.
As we approached the shrine, climbing the stairs to the word wall, I looked around the area to spot a big chest. Ralof and Hadvar wondered around the area trying to find the stone tablet on the increased number of tables and even shelves then what I originally remembered. But for some reason, I couldn't help but feel that we are being watched… I ignored the feeling as Nora followed me as I approached the chest, I saw that it was locked by a pretty impressive large lock.
"Damn, give me a minute this seems a bit tough..." I said as I pulled out my lockpicking equipment. As I slid my lockpick into the keyhole, I felt the number of pins that were in there and-wait, no that can't be right… Uh huh… seems that I missed a few… That is NOT a few…
"THIRTEEN FUCKING PINS?!" I shouted in annoyance.
"What is wrong? How long will it take for you to open it?" Nora asked as she looked over my shoulder.
"Nora, this shit is fucking insane. I am not that advance in my lockpick training to take on this many pins in a lock at once. Sorry, but the amount of concentration that I need will likely be 10 minutes, if I am lucky, not to mention that it is rusted over in many places. Consider this chest lo-(SMASH! 'click')-st…" I tried to explain, but Nora had power kicked the chest lock and it opened, making me jump back in surprise.
"Huh… Seems that I had a useful key here, huh Jester?" Nora joked as she had a small cheeky grin while patting her thigh.
I got annoyed with being once again being useless and ignored her and left for the word wall.
Ok Isaiah… here is where things for you will change… Now, where is 'Fus' or force… Uh… Where are the glowing letters for Unrelenting Force? Where are the voices in my head that are telling me how to say it? I can see the word and symbols that say 'Fus', I know that It is there!
WHY AM I NOT HEARING IT?!
"Jester, there is a bunch of cool stuff in the chest. What are you… looking…at…" Nora asked while slowing her speech as she was looking at the same word I was.
I was about to push her away, but the look in her eyes said it all.
She was observing the word 'Fus'. And I knew that look when you were observing your first shout. We all had that moment when we looked at the glowing letters in awe, as the words popped up, 'Word of power learned'.
"You got to be fucking kidding me…"
"Huh?" Nora said while waking from a trance.
"Nothing, fuck you Nora." I said while turning around to greet the new coming guest.
[POP!]
The moment I heard a popping sound from the tomb across from the word wall as I instantly brought out my sword and charged right into the first attack.
I normally wouldn't just blindly charge in alone, but I really wanted to get some anger out of my system.
As I was about to pierce the body coming out of the tomb, the awakening Draugr dodged the blade by leaning back and caught my blade by its hilt and spoke in a creepy slow dialect.
"This is not yours…" It spoke with coldness in its voice as it's ghastly blue eyes met mine.
The Draugr Deathlord yanked my sword out of my hand and shouted at me.
"FUS-RO-DA!"
A few things happened. For one, I felt that the wind slammed against me as I was sent flying back with the force of a wrecking ball. Second, I think my ear drums blew out from the sound that came from the shout.
I landed, back first against the word wall and fell to the ground aching.
"D-damn it…" I cursed as I heard a ringing in my ears.
Nora was already in combat with the deathlord as the deathlord was combating her with a greatsword that emanated frost from it.
Hadvar was shooting arrows from a distance and Ralof ran up to me, picking me up from the ground. Looks like he was trying to say something, but all I could hear was the ringing sound and a muffled voice. I feared the worst as I placed a finger in my ear and pulled it out to see that there was a bit of blood on it.
Shit.
As I got up, Ralof continued forward and charged in with his battle axe out swinging. My hearing readjusted thankfully, and I can hear, but it was kinda painful.
Seeing that it was already preoccupied with Nora and her barrages, the deathlord maneuvered itself to where it was in front of Nora and Ralof, and once again shouted.
Zun-Haal-Viik
Their weapons flown out of their hands and sent flying across the shrine. A crackling laughter came from the deathlord as he was about to swing onto the unarmed and surprised Nora.
"No weapons, easy kill." It spoke in its dialect as it was going to pierce it's frosted greatsword into Nora.
"Nora!" Ralof yelled as he tried to reach out to Nora, but he was too far.
But just before that the sword was about to be thrusted into Nora, an arrow pierced the arm of the deathlord, and redirected it's path to just graze Nora's right shoulder.
"Argh! Damn you!" Nora shouted as she tackled the Draugr to the ground, wrestling over control of the greatsword. And Nora was losing when the draugr was on top, trying to pull the sword from her grip.
Ralof turned to me and saw the chest next to me.
"Jester! is there any weapons in the chest?"
I looked at the chest and saw that there was a slight glow from it. Opening it, I can see that there were some items that I wanted to look at closer, but the only weapon was a steel mace that glowed with light.
Grabbing the enchanted Mace and tossing it to Ralof, he grabbed it and charged at the unsuspecting creature and swung at it's head, knocking the draugr off to a lower level of the stage.
"Burns… BURNS!" It said with its raspy voice while clutching its damaged head that had a small glow to it.
"Holy damage? …Ok guys, that mace will be the deciding factor of this fight. We need to pin it down and finish the fight with a deciding blow, Nora, heal yourself up and take a break. You've done enough, we got this." I said while running off of the ledge and grappled it from behind while it was distracted by the burns, putting it into a head lock with my arms looping around its arms, and interlocking behind its head.
"Let go, let go!" It cried as it tried to shake me off.
It thrashed around, trying to grab me to no avail, barely scratching my head, and even slamming me against the wall a few times. But I held on strong as he fell to his arms and knees.
"Ralof, he is-" I stopped mid-sentence as I heard a loud cracking sound from above.
That feeling again… My instincts were screaming for me to move, run, DODGE!
"BOOOOULDA-BOL-DA-DAAAAAAA!"
A giant rock came from the ceiling with someone on top of it screaming their head off. I immediately jumped off of the draugr deathlord last second as the boulder came crashing down, sending dust everywhere. I was able to see that the deathlord's body was half crushed by the rock as it reached out to me.
"I'm not done yet! WRYYYYYYY!" It cried out as leaned back spreading it's arms as it then began to unleash a barrage of punches onto the boulder, further crushing the deathlord. "MUDA-MUDA-MUDA-MUDA-MUDA-MUDA-MUDA-MUDA, MUDAAAA!" The final punch had shattered the boulder and the deathlord had then been crushed, ending its life as the rest of the body fell lifeless to the ground.
[You should know what to play at this point. If not, then 'To be continued']
"He-he-he-heh, HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! I truly am the strongest undead in this shithole! Now, with my final task complete, I, Gio, will now take my revenge against you…" He pointed at me. "Your next, Human."
My eyes widen in terror.
No… don't tell me it is THAT!
"And you will be defeated by the strongest shout known to both mortals, and immortals." Gio said as he pulled out a dagger as he crossed his arms and spread them out.
"ZA-WORLDO!"

[Author's Notes]
Wait, Isn't that… A JOJO REFERENCE?!
Sorry, couldn't help it. And for those who dislike how I basically pulled a different villain boss out of my ass too kill off an already set boss that was about to die, I am sorry, but not sorry. I wanted to do something more out of place and more of unexpected to separate my story from other stories, and hopefully I did well enough already.
But keep in mind, that I won't make this a common occurrence. Like pulling out a different villain so I can pull a reference for shits and giggles. Maybe from time to time, but it will be interesting to write and read.
But with my ramblings out of the way, let's get into more ramblings If I still have your attention.
So, a bit of insight of what I want to hear from you guys.
How was the fight that I had set up for Isaiah vs Nora? I know that you guys wanted to see Isaiah humble Nora, BUT lets be realistic, Isaiah would get his shit kicked in no matter what he did. And hopefully you guys enjoyed the 2 hits that he got in, and I want a rating on how that fight went.
How was the part where I revealed a shadowy bit of Nora's past? Makes her a bit understandable in why she is a bit of a harden person and set in what path she follows?
For me, I am a more of an 'in depth' person and I want to know why the person would act like the way they do and if I would do the same if I were walking in their shoes and seen what they saw. But not everyone thinks what I think, and everyone has their own opinion.
Those are the main concerning ordeals that I want to be answered and the other questioning and reviews would be appreciated. Keep in mind that I appreciate constructive criticism, so don't hold back if you have a problem with some parts of my story so I can look back on this for a future reference.
If you want to have a talk with me for whatever reason, my discord is RedTokyo95#4424 But with that bullshit out of the way, This is yours Truly, signing out!
End of Transmission
