Chapter 2 : Webs of Fate
Anbu Headquarters
Walking down a corridor you see two of the most promising young Shinobi walking towards the mission hall. Itachi , the Uchiha protégé, looked at his Taicho with much trepidation. He frowned and asked a question that's been bothering him for a while.
"Kakashi-sempai, I just don't understand it.. My mother is the kindest woman I've known, a retired Jonin, and is from a prestigious clan. Wouldn't she be a perfect candidate for Naruto's adoption "
Walking ahead of him, the silver head masked Jonin; Kakashi impassively looked at Itachi for a moment and kept looking ahead
"This situation can't be avoided unfortunately, when the Nine Tails Attack incident occurred the higher ups suspected the Uchiha Clan was behind it."
Itachi eyes widen in surprise at the notion.
Flashback Start
October 10th Day of Nine Tails Attack
Kakashi appeared into the Hokage Office, Hiruzen was the standing Hokage until Minato dealt with everything. He kneeled before his leader.
"Sir, The Nine Tails has suddenly appeared in the village!"
Hiruzen already in war armor , with a serious visage "I'm already aware of that dog, go evacuate as many people as you can. Make sure the younger generation do not get involved in the fight. You all are the future of the village. If you all fall the village future would be bleak "
Kakashi nodded but before he disappeared Danzo burst in the office. "Wait, Hiruzen.. You should have ordered the Uchiha Clan Police Force to guard the civilians."
Flabbergasted Hiruzen looked at Danzo with wide eyes "You fool, We can use the Visual prowess of the Uchiha to potentially suppress the Nine Tails! They -" he was cut off
"They can also manipulate the Nine Tails! If they take control of the Nine Tails and use it to their advantage the village, the Land of Fire itself would be finished and under the Uchiha banner" Danzo stated firmly
Hiruzen was going to protest until
ROOOOAAAARRRRRR , with a thunderous roar many buildings collapse under its rage.
The whole building shook and Hiruzen looked outside to see the Nine Tails causing havoc. He looked at Danzo not caring about this petty squabble.
"Fine.. do as you wish. Order the Anbu and the security units. Gaurd the village youth as well."
"Understood"
Nodding they all disappeared
October 11th Day After Nine Tails Attack
Kakashi was walking through the streets of Konoha. The damage could have been worse given what happened but still, after last night it was safe to say that things wouldn't be normal for a while.
The loss everyone sustained left them all in a state of sadness. There hadn't been word yet on how many have been lost but there were many that got hospitalized. A lot of the survivors can no longer be shinobi as the injuries were too grave.
What troubled Kakashi the most was that his sensei hadn't been seen after he teleported the Kyubi away. No one knew anything. All anyone knew was that the kyubi was defeated. Kakashi wasn't dumb and if he hadn't heard anything then, that had to mean that Minato died.
"So.. I'm alone again.."
Kakashi looked up to the hokage monument and from his single visible eye, a tear shed as he felt he knew that again he lost someone close to him.
Flashback End
Present Time
A pregnant woman was walking down the aisle. Her dress was as white as the untouched snow around the pool of the Gardens. Even from a distance he could see that the bodice was sewn with pearls and silver and golden thread. Pearls were woven into her indigo hair as well, which was half braided back from her face to allow her golden curls to tumble down her back.
Around her shoulders was a black cloak made of fine velvet. He swallowed hard as she came to a halt on the opposite side of the pool to him. Everyone in the Gardens seemed to have turned to stare at her, and he vaguely wondered if she looked as enchanting to them as she did to him. He had always known she was beautiful, it seemed only now he was appreciating just how captivating she really was. He took a deep breath, knowing that this was it. He could not allow the silence to continue much longer.
"Do you take this man before the Gods?" The priest proclaimed
"I do" she smiled beautifully
"And do you take this woman before the Gods?" The priest proclaimed
"I do" He smiled a tiny smile for her.
He offered his hand at once and she gave her own without hesitation. Naruto put a little pressure on her hand as he took it in his, holding her eyes and sharing a smile with her before they both turned slightly to face the holy tree. They knelt as one, their hands still clasped, and bowed their heads in submission to the priest who started the ceremony.
A happy contented life and family.
After being alone for so long that's all he asked for. That's all he ever wanted now. He squeezed her hand lightly again once he had finished, hoping that she would understand the pressure. She squeezed his hand back, and he assumed that she had.
They both went to kiss to seal the marriage but time froze.
"So this is your dream… Naruto Uzumaki" A deep voice seemingly coming from every where
The ground began to shake and Naruto screamed falling through the black void.
Naruto's Mindscape
Darkness surrounded Naruto, he felt as if he was floating in air. His mind was still in a haze , he tried to open his lone eye. Finally he blinked his eye open, sitting up as he did so. Had he already woken up? It felt like he'd just been lying down to sleep a second ago; the night hadn't really passed that fast, had it? He hoped not. He was still tired and miserable and just didn't want to deal with all the stuff that being awake would inevitably bring.
Blinking the last of the drowsiness from his eye, the last Uzumaki looked around for a moment before realizing that he couldn't be in anything but a dream. After all, there wasn't anywhere in the world that was just a blank, endless expanse of nothing. He tried to get to his feet (he didn't quite know how he was standing just above the water's surface, but this was a dream so he rolled with it), thinking quickly. If this was a dream, why could he think so clearly and…unjumbled? Injumbled? Not all over the place.
"W-where am I? Am I dead?" whispered Naruto the the void hoping for someone to answer him. He just wanted to hear a voice, a voice that would assure him, to ease him. He believed himself to be dead, but was he truly?
Then a voice cut through the air like a knife through butter.
"You're in a realm between life and death that which is eternal." Naruto felt the hairs on his neck suddenly he was on edge. He didn't know how, but he knew he wasn't alone here. Someone else was with him, just out of sight. He twisted around quickly and spotted a man some ways away. It was a brown hair man with the most scariest eyes he has ever seen. His chakra was emitting from his body and his eyes glowed red, the stranger was wearing a white robe, navy blue pant leggings and shirt sleeves poking out from underneath the robe's lower half and sleeves, respectively. There was a teardrop necklace pattern going along the open neckline, said opening reaching down to just above the middle of his chest.
Naruto felt a sudden lump in his throat as his gaze reached the man's face. The man seemed to be wearing black eye-liner, though admittedly the young orphan couldn't tell if it was natural or not. The man's black hair was wild and slightly spikey, with two "tassels" going down the sides of his face. But what captured the young shinobi-to-be's attention the most was his solid black irises, filled with surprise, understanding, and…something else he couldn't quite identify. Anger maybe, but not directed at the younger of the two.
"I-Its you" Naruto muttered, eye widening in recognition
"A realm between life and death that which is eternal?.. just what kind of place is it." questioned the young boy as he stared at the man tired and numb, the light did not obey Naruto's whim as the 'realm' was dark, too dark.
"A realm of nothingness would be precise." answered the man. "A place that sits between two higher powers. Welcome to the Void of Darkness"
Naruto stared at it for a moment taking in his words, just where was he? how did he end up in this place? And why is this stranger here.
Naruto dawned a small smile , it doesn't matter anymore "Well that's good if I'm dead… maybe now I get to see my family."
Silence permeated throughout the void until the man spoke once again.
"You're not dead.. yet , just stuck for the moment." The mysterious figure stared at Naruto for a moment longer before finally speaking. "You are quite something, child. I never expected you to awaken me, let alone ever meet me face to face. Such a thing has never happened before. Usually I'm the one who seeks.. You know boy , you and I aren't so different.."
Naruto lone eye widened confused by the notion "I'm nothing like you.. I don't even know you."
The man nodded acknowledging the boy confusion "Me and you are more similar then you realize, I too was deemed unworthy."
Naruto became surprised again how can someone so powerful becomes unworthy of something? "How is that possible.. Who are you?" The boy asked
The man stared at boy and nodded slightly. "A fair question. I am Indra, son of Hagoromo. I am also a man who is able to sympathize with your plight, Uzumaki Naruto. After all, I too was cast astray, deemed unworthy of my birthright."
Indra paused then continued
"Long ago in a time forgotten by these pathetic creatures, was an era of long lasting rage and unending wars. The people fought each other, for even the pettiest of reasons. Some of them simply sought to gain more power through bloodshed, others simply fought for the sake of fighting.
Humanity had a curse – a sickening and infectious curse so great that in time even the other creatures were caught in it and soon, the earth was slowly being choked to death by the curse of the humans. This curse was named The Cycle of Hatred. A powerful force that could drive any person from the innocent bystander to a rage-fuelled killer who would hunt down those who wronged them, inflicting more pain and brutality, effectively spreading the curse to others.
It was a vicious cycle, a chain of hurt. The more one fought, the more blood spilled, the more hatred spread among the humans. Not even the new generations of the world were safe from it, as parents taught their children to hate, at the same time as they taught those children to walk.
One day, however, a princess came from a faraway land. This princess sought the Shinju, to harvest its fruit and take it to her family. This princess was Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. Originally she had sought the plant to take the fruit and destroy the world. Yet as time went by, she became attached to the humans, as a few had treated her with kindness. The people gave her home, despite being an outsider – they treated her, like one of their own. She had even found love.
However, war and hatred still thrived and she despised the idea. She now wished for peace – she wished to protect those whom she had come to care for. So, she sought power to break the chain which was hatred. She ate the fruit of the Shinju gaining power beyond human comprehension.
Using this great power, she ended the bloodshed and pain. For the first time since the dawn of this world humanity knew peace. Like the Shinju, Kaguya was also worshipped as a living god on earth. People bowed before her in respect and reverence for her power and divine will, that which many considered to have no equal.
Later on, she gave birth to two sons, who were both born with a part of her great power.
At one point in her reign however, Kaguya herself fell to the curse of hatred. She enslaved the people she once cared for and protected, driving fear into many peaceful hearts. From that day forward, behind her back, people called her a demon. She became so greedy, that she even wished to end the life of her own two sons, to gain back the chakra, the power, which they'd 'stolen' from her. In her great rage, Kaguya became one with the Shinju plant, giving life to a great beast – the Jūbi.
The beast was so great, that a swipe of a single tail could level nations and mountains within a blink. The beast, which had once been caring to Princess Kaguya, now had no compassion left for her or anything else. The Jūbi merely wished to destroy everything and to get hold of all the chakra in the world.
The two sons of Kaguya, Hagoromo and Hamura, fought against the Jūbi in a great battle that reshaped the world and they sealed it. Its power was sealed within Hagoromo and the empty husk of the beast was locked far away, creating the moon. Hamura and a few of the brothers' clansmen left the world to guard the seal for the Jūbi.
Hagoromo remained with the humans and decided to guide them, for unlike his mother, he had not lost faith in the good of humanity. He taught people to use chakra for connecting, healing and spreading good – these teachings were Ninshū. For his efforts against the beast and for bringing the teachings of love and understanding, the people gave Hagoromo the moniker of Rikudō Sennin and some even called him a god.
This is where my story begins. My and many other fates were sealed, nothing can be done to change it. It's a story that deals with love and lost, brotherhood and betrayal , courage and sacrifice, and the death of dreams. It's a story that blurs the lines between our best and our worst. It is a story about the End of a Sage..." He continued his tale.
Flashback Start
Centuries ago, there was a peace loving man with the powers of God who existed in the world. This man was so powerful, many people referred to him as God , The Holy One, or simply a Sage. This man saved the world alongside his brother from a monster known as the Ten Tails, or the Juubi. This man was the Sage of the Six Paths, the one who would seal the Juubi inside himself and become it's living prison, the one who would establish peace and order- his name was Hagoromo Otsutsuki
Hagoromo longed for peace, and created teachings known as Ninshu, to guide humanity into the peace he so wished for. With many followers, it seemed at first that the Sage's dream had become a reality. However, he knew that he would not live forever, and on his deathbed, he chose a successor.
Indra knew he had power and a weaker version of his Grandmothers eyes- the Sharingan. He knew his power was unique and that he was special. He trained by himself and saw that he could do anything in the world with his own strength. Indra's idea of how to bring peace was through power alone- by dominating the world, he would stop all wars and fighting and bring peace under one rule. There's can't be wars if the world was Undivided, and he would seek this Unification.
Asura had no talent or power at first. He couldn't do anything by himself, and was always considered weaker than his brother. However, on his own travels around the world, Asura gained many followers of his own, and many friends. These people were precious to him and he found that by working together with everyone, he was able to do anything.
Eventually, Asura's own Chakra and abilities awakened, and he gained the power he'd inherited from his father also- the body. Asura gained great strength, regenerative abilities, powerful life force and the ability to enter Six Paths Sage Mode. His abilities increased to the point where he was on par with his older brother.
With his death nearing , He decided it was time to give one of his sons their inheritance, He made both go travel the world to help problems in their own way.
It took Indra weeks to complete his task alone, he always did things efficiently. Nothing matter but the mission at hand. When he returned , he was told to wait for his younger brother before everything was decided. For Asura it took over a year and half to complete his task but with help. He convinced the small town to stop consuming the divine tree and help build a well to farm crops.
When he returned he didn't wear clothing as God but as a common farmer. The Sage smiled at his son proud of his humbleness.
"Hello , my son you look very dignified"
Indra looked at his brother with a small smile as well "Took you long enough little brother, we've been waiting for you."
Asura smiled sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck as he sat down. The Sage still smiling looked around.
"Who are these people my son?"
Asura smiled brightly "These are my friends, they are the one who helped me save the small town. The village I went too relied on the Divine Tree for food and water causing many to get sick. So I taught everyone the way of Ninshu and together we solved the problem."
The Sage knew at this moment that Asura was the one. He nodded "Are you ready for my decision?"
Both became intense "Hai"
"The one who shall take over Ninshu shall be…" he looked around everyone was staring at him with much trepidation
"Asura!"
Everyone eyes widened, Asura was surprised but Indra was hurt.
"I have nowhere near the skills and forethought of Ninshu elder brother has.. the difference is immeasurable so why?" Asura asked
Indra narrowed his eyes, "yes father please tell me why you are dissatisfied with me"
The Sage looked at Indra impassively, "I've received word that the village you was sent to help is nearing destruction."
Everyone gasps , a elder spoke up. "Indra.. did you use force to-" He was silenced when Indra Sharingan flared to life.
He looked at his father, "I did what I was told I completed the mission, and difference is I did it myself.. I gave them the necessary resources to thrive. It was a fool's errand in the first place , humans shouldn't be trusted with such responsibilities."
The Sage became disappointed, "Indra my son, after you left the village they went to war over the resources.. and did you forget you're half human yourself." He closed his eyes. "The world must be led by peace , love and understanding… not fire and blood.. Due to this you are simply Unworthy."
Indra eyes widened as he spaced out

That word rang in Indra's head in repeat, slowly his Sharingan spun resembling a menacing maelstrom. In a fit of rage he stormed away. Asura wished to follow him, but Hagoromo had forbidden it, asking his younger son to let Indra think on his own for a while. Saddened and unsure of the reasonability, Asura complied with his father's wishes
However, leaving Indra on his own was a poor decision by both Hagoromo and Asura.
Indra retreated to the forest to train, trying to release all his pent up anger and disappointment. However, that was the time when Black Zetsu approached the older son. Zetsu spoke to Indra, even though what his words were are unknown. What is known is that Zetsu's words had turned Indra's anger to hatred. Hatred felt for his once-beloved and cherished brother.
So Indra left his family behind, only followed by a few of those who still believed in him. As time passed, Indra gained more power and understanding of such powers.
The Sage trusted all his teachings to Asura on his deathbed. With his father dead and only his Bijū siblings remaining by his side, Asura continued to teach Ninshū to people. However, he didn't give up hope to see his brother again. To have him back by his side, kind and caring as he used to be.
Over the years, the brothers crossed paths several times. Each one of their clashes mightier and deadlier than the last – one wished to kill his brother while the other just wished to end this fight and see his family whole again. Asura even gained the help of their Bijū siblings – despite some of them being skeptical about Indra's nature – and so, he fought his brother to a draw several times.
Their last battle, decades after that fateful day when Asura was declared Heir, was the longest and bloodiest one. It claimed the life of both brothers and sparked hate of such a scale between their families, hate that had not been seen since long ago.
Asura's family (and followers) became the Senju Clan –and Indra's became the Uchiha Clan.
But due to being tired of the constant bloodshed and fighting descendants from both sides left and formed their on clan promoting peace. The Uzumaki Clan, who held both of their forefather's ideals of peace. Patience and Understanding from Asura but if that didn't work Fire and Blood from Indra. The body and chakra of the Senju but the heart and savageness of the Uchiha.
Flashback End
After Indra told his story he slowly closed his eyes , "See my distant descendant, I too was a victim of Unworthiness. That's how i gained my new light, my true eternal light.." He opened his eyes revealing a maelstrom pattern in his eyes
Naruto still confused posed a question "So I'm your descendant but do you want from me?"
"I want you to accept your fate, I've chose my path and you will soon be forced down yours. The people in this village, no humans itself are pitiful. The real truth is, there are billions human being's on the planet and those feeble children exist for the sole purpose of feeding the true lords of the world.
Honestly it's pathetic how humans fight and kill each other not realizing the true corruption at hand. Before it was the fight for peace but now it is simple subjugation. The Federal Lords control everything.. You have no say so unless you change fate itself. You and me? We are the pillars of change.." He shook his head in disappointment
"Unfortunately you're still young for this conversation but I leave you with this wisdom before everything come crashing down, in this world people only listen to power. If you instill enough fear to the people with your overwhelming power then people… No the world itself will bend to your will. Truly this world can be hell" He said sagely
Naruto narrowed his eye, Mikoto told him to be a hero not make people fear him. "No that goes against my promise I made, I must protect the world! I must be a hero!"
Indra smiled softly and shook his head "Hero huh? You sound just like little brother…" his face turned cold "But like him you are naive child.. look into my eyes and see the truth." His Sharingan eyes glowed and the boy dulled
Slowly he placed his hand on Naruto seal absorbing the Nine Tails while implanting his chakra within him.
The boy eye widened then suddenly , Naruto gripped Indra wrist as black chakra started to form around him. Its energy sizzled, crackled like lighting in the heavens. The black energy hissed upon bodily contact causing Naruto great pain. He screamed when memories suddenly flashed once more.
For a brief second he saw a red haired woman being held by a blond haired man.
"Even in birth, a celebration of life you was stained with blood.."
"Naruto..." a feminine voice echoed his mind.
"My Naruto don't be a fussy eater…eat a lot and grow up to be a big boy. Go to bed early and sleep well, take your bath every day." The voice coughed. She sounded like she was in pain "Make friends, it doesn't matter how many. Just make sure they're real friends…people you can trust even a few is enough. And study your ninjutsu…I was never good at it, maybe you will be."
"Everyone has things they are good at and things they are not. So don't feel bad if you can't do it all. Make sure you listen to the teachers at the academy."
Naruto's head continued to spin as he kept screaming. The black chakra whirled around him and began to sprout tails….one….two…three.
"There…there's so much more I want to say…to teach you…I want to stay with you. I love you my baby."
Four….five….six tails. The agony continued.
Indra voice rang out "You have always been alone child...
He showed him visions of his childhood
He was always treated differently than the rest of the children in the orphanage. He noticed when the caretakers left the door to his room open on rare occasions that the children who ran by or curiously peeked into his room were better dressed than him. The quality of their clothing was still secondhand but it wasn't as shabby as his. It wasn't the lack of resources that kept him in rags unfit for the weather. It was deliberately done by the caretakers of the orphanage. The other orphans were dressed warmly for the impeding cold weather but he was in thin, inadequate rags.
The children were also treated with affection and care. They were hugged by the caretakers, doted on. They had their small injuries treated gently and dressed carefully in bandages. They were also fed regularly as the children ran inside from the large playground for their three consecutive meals while he only had one meal for the entirety of the day.
It confused him greatly and it also made his anger grow. Why? Why was he treated so differently? Why was he treated so terribly? What did he do wrong? He was only a child- a literal toddler- why was he treated with such scorn? He couldn't fathom any excusable reason for the treatment he faced. He was a defenceless child. He knew there had to be a reason. Nobody treated anyone with so much hate for no reason.
He couldn't find any answers and the maltreatment continued and he was helpless to it all in his small, vulnerable form. The words and actions of those around him were legitimately abusive. With every bruise he received, his ire grew and his rage simmered but he held it all in, cataloguing every person who hurt him, committing their words and actions to his memory so he would make them pay. He would give it all back when he was stronger. He would make them pay for hurting him. He will not be the type to let bygones be bygones.
Six… Seven… He continued to shake in pain
He grew more bitter and resentful with each passing moment. He had nothing to look forward too. No friends and no kin. He had nothing. He did not want to form any relations. Everyone despised him. He had no want for any of it. When he grew strong enough, he would leave this wretched place.
As the visions clung to his mind the old memories played again, he snarled like a wounded animal and clenching his fists in fury as he shook in pain.
The cruel laughs echoed around him as he was shoved and kicked down by those older, stronger and larger than him. The hatred not only stemmed from the orphanage but it was present everywhere. He was hated by everyone.
"Accept you are unwanted in this world, but we can fix that..."
Even outside onto the streets, he found the hatred was even worse. The civilians and adults were even more cruel in their words and vicious in their treatment. At least with children, they would beat him down or throw around the same insults repeatedly due to their limited vocabulary but adults were much worse. They used more hurtful phrases when they saw him. They glared at him with so much loathing, spitting at him as he walked by them. His small body curled into himself, tight and stiff as he stormed past them. The civilians spoke loudly, uncaring of the pain their words caused.
They said that he should die, that he shouldn't be allowed to live, that he should end his wretched life. That he was unworthy to live...

Eight… Nine tails. Complete
A vision of a blonde haired man "Eight Trigrams seal!" both the female and male yelled.
"Argh!" Naruto screamed in pain and became unconscious.
The black chakra surged around his body as slowly a moon seal glowed on Naruto right hand.
As Indra got absorbed into his Naruto his eyes glowed red one last time
"Soon… the catalyst will be set for you to obtain your light, the wind of change is upon us.. Soon you will have the eyes to see and defy fate."
It all made sense now, he is a weapon. A mere pawn to a village that didn't appreciate his sacrifice. Naruto hatred intensified , he was going to succumb to the beast of darkness but suddenly a light grabbed from the darkness, the light figure hugged him lovingly. He recognized this warmth, it the only person who's showed him kindness.. the person who gave him new found purpose to live. The one person to give him strength to save the girl with pretty eyes. His Light…
"Mi-Mikoto…" He said softly
Hidden Leaf's Hospital
Fugaku burst through the hospital door with a limp boy in his arms. "This child needs a doctor immediately! He's been severely beaten, and his eye has been severely damaged!" He screamed.
The nurse took a look at the child in his arms, and her face tensed. "Oh god, it's Naruto. Come with me, quickly now."
Fugaku followed her as they swiftly walked through the hospital and into an empty room. He laid the child, Naruto, she said he was, on the medical bed. "I'll be back with the best doctor I can get. Please stay with him. We don't need the civilians try to break in to continue this madness."
She arrived back soon enough with a team of doctors, and Fugaku was asked to wait outside of the room. He sent a clone to inform his wife what he had stumbled upon, then waited. Mikoto and the Hokage had arrived soon after, his wife held his hand and started crying but Hiruzen hadn't said anything to him. He just looked completely distraught, and stared at the floor in silence.
Mikoto stopped crying , she narrows her eyes then sent a seething scowl at Hiruzen. The Hokage grimaced under the gaze from the woman. Hell has no wrath comparable to a woman scorn, especially if that woman is a mother.
"God dammit this your fault! I told you let me adopt little Naruto now look at him! Now if his identity is found out and conflict arise then that blood is on your hands!" She screamed at Hiruzen.
Hiruzen closed his eyes in acceptance, he knows he's to blame for this atrocity maybe it's time for him to hang the hat up but until that becomes a viable option he must endure and insure the village is safe.
"There are external factors from your clan side. The political backlash can be catastrophic.." Hiruzen said tiredly shaking his head slowly now feeling his age.
"What does that means?" Mikoto asked, she then looked towards her husband. "What is going on that you're not telling me?"
Fugaku simply nodded in the negative implying that they could not discuss Clan matters openly.
A couple of hours had passed before the three of them were brought back into the room.
With Naruto cleaned up, Fugaku was able to get a better look at him. He had wild, untamed red hair with three thin, faint lines on either side of his face and now a gash running down the right side of his face.
Mikoto hugged the boy tightly
"Mi-Mikoto.." the boy muttered
When his lone eye opened, it revealed a stunning shining of lavender. His chest was bandaged up, still leaving the markings on his stomach visible. Oddly enough the seal on his stomach was gone but maybe that was due to low chakra. His face was already showing signs of healing, as most of the bruises had either disappeared or turned to a fainter color. And sadly, his right arm was bandaged, the missing of his right eye is very noticeable.
The Third smiled seeing when the boy awoke, "How are you feeling Naruto?" the Hokage asked, causing a look of anger to flicker across Naruto's face. He didn't respond, instead choosing to look up towards the ceiling lost in his thoughts.
"Naruto are you okay?" Mikoto asked softly.
Still no response
Hiruzen became concerned and began reaching towards the boy shoulder "Naruto it must've been hard for you.. we nee-"
Naruto suddenly snaps "DON'T TOUCH ME!" He screamed slightly hyperventilating, he was still on edge from the visions and being man handled from the Kumo Nin.
The room went silent once again, until the red head broke the silence ignoring the other two people.
"Where are my parents.." Naruto rasped out not acknowledging everyone present. He didn't care he just needed some answers.
Hiruzen sighed honestly this boy has a one track mind he's thinking about the wrong things, "We've discussed this Nar-" The Hokage was cut off again when Naruto spoke
"My parents… you told me that you didn't know. Who are they.. Why does the village hates me? How long will you keep this from me…" The boy said coldly
Hiruzen sighed internally it pained him to do but it must be done "We have already gone through with that discussion, we need to focus on the attack you've been through."
The same damn answer, he hated that answer. His theory was confirmed, the Sandaime wouldn't be honest with him. "How can I trust anything you say now.." He muttered quietly but the room heard him.
"Just leave.." Naruto rasped out seeing nobody moving he became enraged "I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!!"
Mikoto looked surprised, Fugaku remained stoic and Hiruzen looked down as well, sad at Naruto's situation. He knew that it was his fault, and Hiruzen kept thinking that maybe if he had been more protective of Naruto, then the little boy would be able to be a shinobi like he dreamed.
He already had too much to deal with, and now with a missing eye, not only would it be immensely more difficult to become a shinobi, but no doubt the children and adults of the village would take advantage of his new disability. He's fully aware of the darkness of people and he was sad to say that the will of fire had diminished.
The villagers and shinobi of Konoha had become caught in the cycle of hatred that the world was victim to.
Fugaku still remaining silent he knew that this particular situation was not his fault, but he kept thinking that maybe if he had been there sooner, he could have defended Naruto. He could have stopped and reported the shinobi who had done this to a defenseless child. He swore to himself there that he would do everything in his power to fix this, and to make this child a shinobi.
Hiruzen left while Mikoto stayed.
Mikoto hugged the boy and started comforting him the best she can.
After the room became silent Naruto looked towards Mikoto and dawned a small smile tiredly, "You're that weird lady from the forest, thank you for being here lady Uchiha. Hopefully saving that girl made you proud of me."
She smiled then flicked his nose causing a disgruntled pouting boy to 'hmph' "Of course I'm proud of you silly , you're a step closer becoming the hero you was destined to be."
Naruto still out of it, was to tired to give his usual tirade stayed quiet
A brief pause was made before Mikoto continued. "Naruto I don't care if the Hokage disagree but I will be the one who's going to be taking care of you from here on out. Even if it's in secret."
Naruto looked like his eye would pop out of his sockets. A faint smile came onto his face, before it disappeared and was replaced by another frown. He just doesn't understand why this lady keeps helping him "If you are saying that, just so that you can treat me like trash then no I don't need your pity."
By this point, Naruto was mad, and his hands was clenched so hard it was drawing blood. His left blue eye turned slightly red but quickly faded. Seeing this Fugaku eyes widen but he realizes nobody but him noticed what transpired. Suddenly he felt pain in his mind , unconsciously his eyes spun and he saw a vision. 'I see so this is how it is..' Fugaku thought internally. He left the room he know now what needed to be done.
Mikoto felt the stab of pain at the words. Most didn't know, but there had been a couple of times when she tried to adopt Naruto, but unfortunately for some reason the Third Hokage declined her.
"I promise Naruto, I promise on the honor of my Clan, that I will never hurt you. I promise that and to be the best guardian I can be for you. I promise to do all these things and more. I give you my word…"
She continued "And I never go back on my word… That's my nindo. I'll be there every step of the way me and, I promise on my honor to help you."
Naruto eyes widen at the similar words and all the support. He began to tear up again maybe he can open his heart one last time.
"I think I like your nindo" He said softly
Outside Naruto Room
Fugaku closed his eyes and spoke out directing his words towards the Third Hokage, "If you don't trust me then why don't you appoint him to someone you do? I'll even sponsor them."
The Third looked at him from the corner of his eye, the question in the air.
"Shisui , even though he's a bit young at least he'll be safe and Mikoto will help anyway she can. They don't even have to live in my place. We can allow him to stay in Shisui residence. If the boy swears to secrecy we can even tell the boy the truth about his heritage." Fugaku suggested
Hiruzen closed his eyes and thought about this situation at hand. He knows that Kumo will demand answers not only that Naruto may have a target on his back in the near future, him living and training with Shisui can help the boys development, it's the least he can so for Minato progeny but with the troublesome news Danzo have reported he knows giving the Uchiha a tool they need to possibly revolt will lead to many more problems he can only shudder at the thought of it.
"Yes indeed I agree, but considering the current situation... I will handle the living arrangements also let's not be hasty on telling him his heritage as of now he's a flight risk.. " Hiruzen said with finality and walked away.
Fugaku internally shook his head in disappointment but simply agreed outwardly. He dawned a small smile , his vision earlier was correct. Now with fate on course he will now see the boy through his own methods.
Hokage Office
Sarutobi stared solemnly into his crystal ball, once again trying to peek in on Naruto. It had been a couple of hours since he had last seen the boy, and he was starting to think it was a bad idea not actually telling the young boy the truth about who he was and the greatness he could obtain. The meeting had not ended well and Naruto exploded in rage towards him.
When the crystal ball glowed brightly for a moment, Hiruzen looked hopeful, at least until it calmed down and returned to normal seconds afterwards. Sighing, he slipped the ball away again and shook his head. 'Naruto-kun. I hope that you will forgive me for lying to you all this time.' He thought sadly
The Sandaime Hokage was broken from his thoughts as he heard felt a cool breeze waft through the room, gently knocking a few papers about on his desk. Smirking softly to himself, the elderly Hokage closed his eyes and nodded his head. "Hello Jiraiya-kun. I take it you have a lead on her whereabouts finally? I didn't expect your presence so soon."
Jiraiya slowly closed the window before looking out. Narrowing his eyes, and crossed his arms crossed while staring off out the window towards the village with a solemn expression.
"No I didn't but how is he?" He asked without looking at his Sensei
Hiruzen stood next to his student sparking his pipe. Slowly inhaling then exhaling the smoke.
"He is fine, the council will be assembled, they must know of what has transpired. We must ensure Naruto's love for the village.. He must be loyal to the great tree"
Jiraiya nodded acknowledging his mission "And of his parents?"
"That is not a necessity right now. Obviously the clan heads knows but nobody else needs to know. Especially Naruto until his loyalties is clear."
Shifting his head to Hiruzen looking dead serious "We need to talk Sensei..."
Uchiha Clan District
The moon was shining throughout the night sky. Itachi in his civilian clothes is heading home. On the outside his face was stoic and unbothered but inwardly his mind was racing , it's never been a possibility to him for his clan possibly being behind the Nine Tails Attack. Yes understands the arrogance of his Clan but to attack the Great Tree? Ridiculous. As he approached his house he seen his father standing in front of the door with his arms crossed and eyes closed, seems like he was waiting. How did he know he was coming?
"I heard you were nominated to make Anbu captain." Fugaku said breaking the silence.
He was caught off guard because he was just told of this news. He wonder if his father is spying on him. Shaking his head of that thought.
"Yes." Itachi said simply
"I'm pleased." Fugaku said with no emotion
"It is difficult to tell." Itachi admitted. "I think you would rather I spend more time handling clan matters than working for the village."
"Well, I wouldn't complain. Me and your mother miss you, you are our son after all…" He replied. "But I suppose that won't fit into your path. How long you intend to be Anbu?"
"For as long as the village needs me."
Fugaku scoffs "I'm sure the Sandaime Hokage will be more than pleased." He opens his eyes and stared at his eldest son , "Come, we need to talk Itachi." They both disappear and reappeared into a cavern well known to all Uchiha.
Fugaku stared at the Naka Shrine tablet with his eyes activated.
"Within the clan, only those who possesses the Sharingan can read the stone tablet... and even then, they can only read part of it. But if you possess the Mangekyo Sharingan, you should be able to read further " Fugaku said eyes slowly spinning but Itachi couldn't see the change since currently his father wasn't facing him.
Itachi is aware of the level above the Sharingan, Shisui is the only one currently to achieve such a feat.
"Would you like me to bring Shisui here to decipher it for you?"
"That's not necessary..." He said while slowly turning around and faced his son
Itachi became slightly fearful "Mangekyo!? You have them to, Father?"
"It was during the Third Great Ninja War... My comrade gave up his life to save me. And along with his tears of blood, the Mangekyo was born." Fugaku said looking back at the tablet.
"The Uchiha's way to salvation is carved into this stone. But even with my new light, the end can't be deciphered. It seems we still have a way to go.. a new evolution." He continued
Itachi stood quite, still perplexed at his father cryptic message.
Fugaku broke the silence, "However even if it's part the way, once you read it, you will understand Itachi that the current situation forced upon the Uchiha Clan right now is wrong. Soon the clan will take action." He said firmly
Itachi became nervous these are dangerous, treasonous words. He narrowed his eyes and spoke out "Even so, but to overcome it through drastic measures will be-
Fugaku cut him off still facing the stone "The higher ups of the Village fear us. This is why they persecute us... out of fear towards our Sharingan."
Itachi nodded remembering the conversation earlier "That's right, they fear we will control the Nine Tails with the power of the Sharingan. It is understandable fear to have."
Fugaku shook his head in the negative "That power only belonged to one man... the legend himself, Madara Uchiha. Since then, no one has done something like that. It's not even known if anyone can. But the higher ups cling to the ghosts of the past and keep us at a distance out of fear. If they fear us... there is nothing left to do but for us to control them."
Itachi inwardly seethe towards his father for this betrayal but stayed calm outwardly, controlling his emotions. "Will you use force to become Hokage?"
"It's because the clan wishes it. I've held it off for now but unfortunately I can't stop them. But I want to avoid the use of brute force. That is why I keep my Mangekyo Sharingan a secret..."
"But why" Itachi asked
"I have the compatibility of controlling the Nine Tails with my eyes but if the clan learns of this, they will desire revolt even more... " he said slowly turning to face his soon looking into his eyes. "See for yourself..."
As Fugaku eye spun he whispered Kuronokineshisu (chronokinesis)
Suddenly the world spun, Itachi knows this must be one of his father's abilities because it felt like time itself was being manipulated.
Itachi became horrified at the gruesome images of what the future holds. Fire , Death , Destruction, Mayhem...
He fell to his knees in disbelief , tears flowing from face.
"N-No that's.." Itachi couldn't even fathom the carnage and destruction.
Fugaku turned back around and stared at the tablet "Many in the clan resent the Village . When you're pushed into a corner, you'll resort to things like this. There will be much bloodshed on both sides. But Itachi, if you are with me.. "
Itachi looked back up in anticipation
"We can take them by surprise and restrain the higher ups. Some fighting will ensue that's inevitable but with your help as a member of Anbu a bloodless revolution can happen!"
Itachi eyes widen "A bloodless revolution?!"
"Itachi, you're my son. Please! Together we can save the clan!" Fugaku pleaded
Itachi became solemn, "I need to think on this.. this is too much to handle. I need time."
Fugaku not daring to look at him still nodded "I'm not surprised.. Disappointing"
With that Itachi disappeared, left alone Fugaku continued to stare at the Naka stone tablet. "The seeds of fate has been planted and soon this world will be swallowed in darkness but..."
He Sharingan eyes glowed with much power "Soon the curse of the Uchiha will be no more"
Time-skip : Few Weeks Later
The Sandaime Hokage made his way through the lively streets of the village, greeting shinobi and civilians alike with a genial smile on his wizened face. It was the first celebratory day marking the beginning of the New Year and the snow fell ceremoniously over Konoha. The streets were lit up with joyous occasions as people gathered to welcome the Shōgatsu festivities. Vendors and clan matriarchs handed out traditional osechi ryori tiered boxes. The assortment of dishes were packed together in an artful array of colours.
Children stuffed their faces with sweet delicate mochi and ran around with firecrackers, giggling and chasing after their friends. Shinobi and civilians lined up to eat their soba noodles and wish each other well. The well-wishes and greetings echoed through the streets gregariously among friends and strangers alike. Akemashite omedetou! The people gathered around to let go of the hardships of the previous year and welcomed the New Year with hope and optimism. Akemashite omedetou gozaimasu! Families dressed in matching kimono. The woman styled their hair beautifully in elaborate high knots, their silky locks adorned with colourful hair ornaments. Siblings, parents, grandparents, relatives, friends and families made their way to the shrines to pray for a good and prosperous year.
Unfortunately there was someone not present in the happy festivities. The presence of the small child that use to brighten his day will soured the good mood of the crowds and the villagers had demanded that he leave the premises each year. The Sandaime was disheartened by the behaviour of the general populace as they shunned and mistreated the poor boy again and again but he understood their anger and sorrow. Unfortunately and unfairly he would always serve as a reminder of their losses. They had to relive their grief and each time they saw him, they were reminded of the lives they lost because of the Kyuubi attack.
With a heavy heart, the old leader made his way to the cold orphanage to deliver the good news to the last living Uzumaki. He walked through the doors and made his way up the creaky stairs to the small child who was holed up in his barren room, spending his time alone, away from the joyous festivities.
He hadn't visited the Uzumaki child in a few weeks but when he found out the orphanage kicked him out he took care of it swiftly. On top of that he had been very busy with council meetings and war reparations that still continued past few years after the war. It didn't help that there had been growing tensions within the Uchiha Clan and the council had unanimously agreed to relocate them to the edge of the village. He was also holding meetings with Sunakagure, hoping to build a strong and indissoluble alliance that would remain strong.
Rasa - the Yondaime Kazekage - seemed like a very promising Kage and he had high hopes for their upcoming alliance. He was also dealing with the aftermath of the Kumokagure incident. He continued to hold meetings with Kumo delegates to maintain the ceasefire between both villages. The Sandaime had lot of issues to address, meetings to hold, missions to assign as the Kage of Konohakagure. He unfortunately did not have the time to spare to be around the young boy. But to ensure his loyalty he's forced to act.
He knocked on the door of the closed room gently and waited but there was no response. The Uzumaki child was a very quiet child and he seldom spoke, preferring to communicate with the occasional nod and small body gesture. The Hokage opened the door to the room and gazed around with disheartened eyes. The room did not hold any material possessions or drawings that indicated that someone inhabited the place. The bareness and impersonal touch of the room made his heart clench in sadness. It felt like it was the room of a stranger and not the room of a child who lived there. There was nothing that showed Uzumaki Naruto's presence, personality, likes and dislikes, dreams and hopes. It was completely barren.
The room was neat and clean. It always was. The Uzumaki child was clean and orderly. But the room lacked a personal touch. Without the small rickety bed in the corner, the room would be completely empty. Just a desolate space with only a place to sleep. It was like no one lived there.
The rooms of the other children in the orphanage always spoke of their occupants. There were personal drawings, books, pictures, toys, haphazardly tossed clothing and trinkets lying around. Each child tried to leave their own personal touch behind in their rooms, as if they desperately wanted their rooms to hold their stories. But this room did not hold any personal touch. It was entirely lacking, as if the occupant would disappear and no one would believe that someone had occupied the space before.
He found the small orphan standing in front of the window, his arms folded over his stomach as he gazed down at the populated and colourful ambiance on the streets of the Konoha as the populace celebrated the Shōgatsu festivities in gregarious excitement. The child was dressed in layers of black clothing. He wore large long sleeved shirts, thick and rumpled on his small form. He wore thick black cotton pants and black socks. The darkness of his attire made him seem like he was in a perpetual state of mourning. He had never seen the child wear bright colours, or any colours for the matter. He was always dressed in black. The only semblance of colour was the Uzushio emblem on his clothes, the red swirl that most of Konoha wore in remembrance of their sister clan.
His lone eye was watching the festivities from his window with a forlorn expression on his face. The Sandaime gazed out the window at the packed streets, the loud celebratory noise filtered through the open window. The Hokage did not like the juxtaposition of the village celebrating joyfully while the Uzumaki orphan stood in his cold desolate room, bereft of company and happiness. The old man watched the small child with a heavy heart, his expression grew weary and tired. He truly blamed himself.
He stepped into the barren room, greeting the Uzumaki child gently. The boy did not respond verbally to his greeting but gave him a nod of acknowledgement, his cerulean gaze still locked on the window. The Sandaime sighed heavily and gave the child news which he hoped would brighten his dour disposition a bit. The boy turned to him with narrowed eyes, his expression marred with disbelief and anger.
"What did you say?" Naruto said sharply.
His voice was hoarse and scratchy from disuse and he gazed up at Hiruzen in barely concealed anger. The Hokage remained stoic at the hostility etched on the child's face. He lowered his smoking pipe from his mouth and repeated his words carefully.
"I said that when spring comes, you'll be starting your education in the Shinobi Academy."
The red haired child stared at him in silence for a long moment, his gaze disbelieving and irritated.
"Why?" He rasped, his lone eye narrowing at the news.
The Hokage stared bewildered at the small child, not understanding his reaction one bit. Most of Konoha's children loved the idea of becoming a shinobi and serving the Leaf. They would have been overjoyed at the news of being enrolled in the Shinobi Academy. It was the greatest honour there was. To serve and live with the Will of Fire was every child's dream.
'Why is Naruto-kun so hostile at the idea of becoming a Konoha-nin? This is bad , if the prophecy comes to light then we're finished."
"Naruto-kun-"
"Uzumaki, Hokage-sama." Naruto interrupted swiftly. "Please do not address me with familiarity." He spoke sharply, his lone blue eye cold and unforgiving.
Hiruzen gazed at the cold look on the child's face with a heavy heart, his face falling at the realization that he was complicit in Naruto's pain. He deserved the distance that child was forcing between them. After all, he's been lying to him his whole short life...but in order to be a leader sacrifices are necessary. The hat of the Kage was a heavy weight to bare.
He sighed to himself heavily in resigned acceptance. He had really hoped to stop this from happening. Naruto was supposed to be hailed as hero. Minato Namikaze's sacrifice was supposed to allow him to live a loved and cherished life, enamoured and adored by all of Konoha. But the grief was too strong and the loss was too painful and the people of Konoha could not love this child. They could not forgive and forget. The village had done this to the Uzumaki orphan. They had morphed him into a closed off, distrustful and detached child who did not seek out affection, familiarity or friendship with anyone.
He hadn't seen such a gaze on a child's face since the warring periods. He didn't like it. This wasn't what was supposed to happen. But his hands were tied. Being the Kage did not make him omnipotent or indestructible. He too was regulated and he could not make decisions on his own without the council's stamp of approval.
"Very well Uzumaki-kun. As a ward of the village, you will be enrolled in the Shinobi Academy."
"But why? What if I don't want to become a shinobi?" Naruto asked in a low tone, his lone eye narrowing at the information, a deep frown marring his youthful face. "Do I not get a say in my own life?"
Hiruzen shook his head slowly, a pensive expression etched on his haggard face. "I'm afraid you cannot chose a civilian life Uzumaki-kun. As a ward of the state, the decision does not fall to you. The village has chosen for you to become a shinobi and this edict cannot be rescinded."
The boy turned away from him and gazed out the window silently, his face was obscured from the lingering and watchful gaze of the Hokage.
"Another thing Uzumaki-kun." Hiruzen added slowly, making sure that the child was still listening to him.
"You will be moved to an apartment covered by the village. You will also be given monthly stipends to cover your living expenses." The old man pulled an envelope out of his robe pockets and held it out.
The child turned around and took the envelope silently, not saying a single word. The silence stretched on as the young orphan gazed at the envelope in his small hands with a pensive expression on his cherubic face. The Hokage watched him with heavy sadness and reluctance.
'I'm sorry Naruto-kun. There's only so much I can do to help you.'
"When can I leave?" The child asked quietly, his voice low.
The Sandaime looked around the barren room sadly. "We can go now. Do you need time to pack?"
The boy shook his head quickly and approached his bed, bending down and grabbing a small backpack that held all his belongings. Hiruzen felt his stomach drop at the sight. It was such a small bag and the child was already four years old and everything he owned was so little. The Hokage released a long breath, the sounds of the villagers were loud and boisterous outside, they continued celebrating the New Year with their families and loved ones happily while the small orphan stood in his cold room clutching onto his tiny bag of belongings with a hard look in his eyes.
Hiruzen felt so old and defeated gazing at the small child. He had failed the memories of the boy's parents. He had failed the memories of Kushina and Minato. He was supposed to look after Naruto-kun. But there was only so much he could do. He was only just one man. He hoped that the academy would be a place where Naruto would open up and make friends. A place that will be the catalyst of his loyalty. There was still hope. He would remain optimistic. Perhaps the young children in the academy would not be as hateful and discriminative as their parents. He really hoped that would be the case or else the boy would grow into something dark and hateful.
The Hokage had once hoped to show him the real Konoha, his Konoha, one where everyone smiled and lived together in warmth and unconditional love. Watching the small child leave the room without a backward glance, his tiny form curled protectively over his small bag of belongings, his limbs too thin and body malnourished, he realized that his Konoha was not the same Konoha the Uzumaki orphan knew.
Naruto looked around the sparsely furnished rundown apartment with a deep scowl etched on his face. The apartment was old, creaky and was located in the heart of the Red Light District. The Hokage had walked him to the apartment, avoiding the crowds of the festival, and had left him at the door after handing him the key. The red haired boy looked around at his surroundings, setting his small bag down on the wooden floor. He shook his head to himself in disbelief. This village was unbelievable.
They were forcing him to become a shinobi. The leader of the village came personally to tell him the news with a smile on his face like he was expected to respond joyfully, that he should be honoured that his choices -permanent life altering choices- were being made for him. They were signing him up to a life of servitude, taking away his personal autonomy and future from him, making it all seem like they were bestowing upon him a great gift. He didn't want to serve this horrible village led by a cowardly, lying man.
His rage simmered and intensified. He clenched his teeth bitterly, grinding them in anger, refusing to scream and tare his new apartment to bits. It wasn't fair. This was his life. It belonged to him. They had no right to dictate his path for him. They had no right to take his choices away from him. But there was nothing he could do now. He was too powerless. He was too weak, too vulnerable to fight back. He would be immediately taken down if he showed his resistance. He felt disgusted by his own vulnerability and weakness. He hadn't felt this powerless since the Kumo incident. The orphan stood in the decrepit living room, his body shaking in rage. How dare they? How dare they try to control him? How dare they try to map out his life for him? He wouldn't allow them. He wouldn't live a caged life. He wouldn't.
He clenched his fists angrily, his body growing colder by the second as his ire and hatred grew. An anger old and new power surfaced and simmered through his skin. He hissed sharply as he felt a freezing sensation move through his body, a cold feeling that was unfamiliar began building up as his vision sharpened.
He hissed, a low animalistic snarl escaping his throat, as he raged against the village, its people, its rules, its leader. His vision grew sharper and a black line originating from the seal on his right hand spread on his body, black chakra circles around his small form like ominous wisps of energy. He felt something trying pierce his skin on his forehead, the voices rumbling louder and louder in his mind. The chakra encompassed his entire form and his mind whirred in a cacophony of angry, hateful and spiteful thoughts. He felt the room fade slowly, the darkness overtaking his vision with each passing second. He frowned to himself in confusion, his mind feeling muddled and heavy. He swayed on his feet as his anger began subsiding slowly as he gazed at the black lines omitting from his body in alarm. His eye widened as he stared down at his hand in horror.
A glowing moon like shape in the palm of his hand.
"What is this?" He whispered in a low tone, blinking in bewilderment at the raw power omitting from him.
A strong feeling of death encompassed his entire form as he began shaking. He stumbled in shock and fell to the ground, his knees slamming to the hard wood harshly as he blinked around him in bewilderment. The black raw power rushed forward towards him and engulfed his body in a wave of oppressive coldness, disappearing under his flesh, making him feel winded and out of breath. The orphan sat on the ground stunned, his breathing erratic as he gazed down at his hands in confusion and great alarm.
"What the hell was that?" He rasped quietly to himself, his mind spinning in confusion and alarm.
He blinked at his tiny hands that were back to their original form. The raw wisps of black power were gone. The darkness that was overcoming him in his head faded completely. He swallowed dryly. Did he imagine it all?
He shook his head roughly, feeling dizzy and nauseous. No. It was too real to be a figment of his imagination. There was something... Was this the beast? It didn't make any sense. This was all coming from him... In his great moment of colossal anger and indignation, he was able to draw on something powerful and terrifying...
The coldness had felt strangely familiar...
"What am I ?" He said out loud. He tried to make sense of the turbulent chaos of his new life. He felt a strong fatigue overtake him and he stumbled in shock and exhaustion and felt his consciousness fade away quickly. Black spots filled his vision as he fell to the ground with a loud thud.
Everything went black.
AN : Chronokinesis : The ability to manipulate the flow of time. I thought it will be cool to give Fugaku his own Ms abilities since it wasn't expanded upon in the story. At the end Naruto almost transformed with the Karma seal just to clarify. Hope you guys enjoy thank you for supporting the story, I'm happy to see so many people enjoying the art Kishi created like I am. I do this on my spare time so sorry for the wait.
