They made their way back to the headcuarters the fastest they could, they had first priority information to share with the others that just couldn't wait.

When they got to the headcuarters, the others were already there, their crow having notified them to return as soon as posible to the base.

"Did you find Tokito and that is why you called the meeting or what happened?" -asked Iguro to Mitsuri, a little worried for his crush.

"No, we found top information that we needed to deliver inmediatly" -she answered to him, all cheerfullness gone from her voice and face.

That caused the others to go quiet, it wasn't normal when Mitsuri was serious and quiet. They have the theory that Muichiro's absenceaffected her, since he is the youngest between them all.

Not too long after, the Master showed himself, with his sick condition It was a wonder he could still see with one eye.

"My child, Mitsuri, what was so urgent to call a meeting just a couple of hours after we started Muichiro's search?" -he said with a worried tone, wondering what could be so important to delay the search for his lost children.

"Master, we discovered some worrysome imformation that couldn't wait, I too am worried for Muichiro, but this could endanger us all" -she answered him, still serious, but you could see that she was really nervous, the information she heared some hours ago hitting her hard in her mind.

"What is it?" -sanemi asked, for once not sounding angry, seeing the seriousness of the matter.

"We overheared some demons conversation, it looks like they have a new king" -said gyomei.

"What do you mean by new king, what happened to Muzan?" -asked the master, some hope in his heart, hoping that the curse ended, but not liking the sound of new king.

"Well, it looks like the cause of the demons exploiding was Muzan's death, but a new demon king has risen after him. We still don't know how Muzan died, but he is definitively dead" -answered Gyomei.

"But how is that posible, who could have killed him, he obviously could not get sick, and he was too strong to get taken down so easily, so how?" -Yelled Sanemi, loosing his composture because of what he just heared, it was to crazy to believe that easily.

"That is not the point here, what matters now is to find Muichiro and discover who the new demon king is" -said Uzui, notincing the seriousness of the situation.

"Yeah, yeah, I know, but how are we supossed to find him before the demons do, if anything, he could have been found already by one, the demons should have some sort of conection to their lord to know when he is near them" -said Iguro.

"My children, for now we shall resume Muichiro's search, well need more help if we want to discover who is the new demon king, so go back to your asigned area and look out for our lost hashira" -the master told them.

"Just one more thing, the demons said that upper 5 exploded with the other demons, so for now we have one less uppermoon to worry about" -said Mitsuri a little shy because she almost forgot that detail, the only good new out of them all.

That got a little bit high the sour mood all of them seemed to have, the news that an uppermoon was dead hopefully will make them more motivated to find their lost companion and discover the identity of the new demon king.

Ohhhh, the surprise they will get when they find Muichiro.

Back to when Muichiro woke up...

He still couldn't believe the situation in he was right now, he was the new demon king, the uppermoons and other demons were looking for him, and the demon slayer corps might be too because it isn't normal for him to dissapear for a whole week just like that, especially after the change of the demon king, he believes something happened before he fully transformed and became their new king, he just doesn't know what though.

But for now, he is confortably sitting in the couch he fell asleep a week ago, prosesing everything that was new for him, and believe me, it is a lot.

Some minutes later, he felt the confidence to ask...

"Umm, can we get out of here? If there are people looking for me, I think it would be better if we went out and travel for a bit, that way it would be easier for them to find me, right?" -he said a little hesitant, still unsure if he wanted to take the responsibility of being the new lord of the demons.

"You're right, but first we'll need to work on your ability to disguise yourself as a human again, you may have the act covered since you didn't lose your memories, but your appearence changed, so we'll work on that" -Neol told him, giving him some hints on how to do it, so that they could go out without scaring the people from the village.

They will definitively get a surprise when they go out, since some high ranking demon slayers just got in the village they were in.
