The city on Mars become the prime of all the UAC. Populated with over sixty thousand people, all these scientists work so hard to build a new world on this red planet. Thanks to the UAC, many advances have been made like the weather tower, teleportation, plasma, ships and a new energy source. They have become just like an advance version of the previous UAC that was remove hundreds of years ago when Doomguy went to war with them and against Hell.
Thanks to the advances of the weather tower, people can finally enter outside the facility to actually feel the air blowing across their bodies, and those who are not scientists would have a chance of expanding outwards across the planet to keep a distance from the scientists from making more advances in technology. One particular technology they discover was when a team surveys across the trenches on Mars to discover ancient alien relics of hold that belongs to the lost city of Hebeth, which they later call 'Argent Fracture'. One particular relic was brought into the UAC from within the Argent Fracture was the Helix Stone, which allows the UAC to learn how to harness and manipulate Argent Plasma. It is here where they discover a new source of energy that can make all power source or fuel on Earth completely useless to the UAC. If this was found earlier, a chances of World War 3 would never have happen. Now they hope to establish a second tower with an outpost surrounding it to help extract this new energy source to help change the world.
Argent Energy stays with the ARC and the UAC, while outside factions remain unknown of how they made their advances in technology so quickly. The Arc remains as the authority and power house to Earth, while the UAC continues with its research into Argent Energy.
Inside the UAC facility, before the awakening of the Doom Marine, Samuel Hayden was having a conversation with Olivia Pierce in a private talk about her problems.
"We are not advancing enough applicants and our faith is nothing without believers." Olivia says to him "We cannot conduct our work without them."
Samuel responds "And what kind of work is it that you're doing, Olivia? I haven't seen a report from your team in months. Can I trust that you can maintain your distance and control the situation?"
"Of course!" Olivia replies "I believe in our work… But…" She then slowly turns away from Samuel to have her back towards him while saying "In order to make progress, we will have to make even greater sacrifices."
"This isn't progress, its madness." Samuel steps closer to her and continues "The board understands the peculiar nature of your work and no one is in the dark on what those sacrifices mean to mankind. But your judgement is no longer considered sound."
After that, Olivia Pierce left the room and returns to the Lazarus Labs to continue with her research into Hell, while Samuel Hayden returns to his office to prepare for what might be the coming of an invasion. He went to the office desk and contacts VEGA.
"VEGA, do you have the controls of Vault one-eleven?"
"Of course, Doctor Hayden. Once again the specimen is still in hibernation."
"Wake him up. In the meantime, what is the status of the UAC facility in Boston?"
"The facility in Boston has undergo some serious management lately since some of their test subjects have been released into the city." VEGA replies "There have been complaints about that said facility for asking for extra security, but Olivia Pierce owns that facility and continues to discard that complaint."
"I see… Let me know the moment someone from the outside world comes to that facility."

Today…
Doomguy arrives at the entrance into the UAC facility in the Commonwealth. The facility is completely underground and Doomguy recognises this place from Vault 111 because the entrance into the facility is just like how he enters the Vault.
"Is this the place?" Doomguy asks the pilot
The pilot turns his head to the right to look back at Doomguy that was standing on the open hatch. "This is the place. This is the closest UAC facility in the Commonwealth."
"I'll take your word on it." Doomguy holds his double barrel at the ready and says to the pilot "You're free to go." Then jumps off the VTOL before it had a chance to land on the ground.
As soon as he was gone, the pilot took off straight away into the sky and quickly radios the ARC about what just happen.
Doomguy found the controls lower the hatch and walks over it just as it was it was being sent down. As he stands in the middle waiting, this moment here made him remember the time where he was with Samus and his son John. The thought of them made him upset, but he returns to anger when realising his enemies who are responsible for them not being by his side is so close by he is ready to bring an all-out war with the UAC.
As he continues his walk off the platform as soon as it reach the bottom, he notice the layout of the entrance is exactly like Vault 111. This is Vault 66, a UAC facility underground. This once belongs to Vault-Tec, but was taken over by the UAC when they began checking many vaults across the Commonwealth to find anything of interest they could use to help with their resources. The UAC use this place as experiment on monsters from Hell, as well as other secrets that cannot be explain right now.
Doomguy reaches the bottom and uses his Pip-Boy to unlock the main entrance to lead him into the interior. What he finds strange is he suspects he would be dealing with any resistance, but it was completely quiet and abandon. The place was darker than his vault with no lights on, so he uses the Pip-Boy to turn the lights on to help him walk further inside with his shotgun at the ready.
He was ready for anything, and as he continues his walk towards the elevator in the distance, he stops when noticing something strange in the room on his right, noticed something moving in there when checking the window with the steel bars. He suspects it was a human, so he goes to investigate and found someone actually standing in there. What he finds was shocking as the man in the room was a complete mess with his clothes torn apart and skin gone pale. The moment he turn his head towards Doomguy, it shows itself to be an ugly mutation that is no longer human. Its clothing is torn off, eyes are completely gone and replace with a single hole in the middle of the face and looking much worse than fighting the ghouls in the Commonwealth. As soon as it catches the scent of Doomguy, the creature starts walking and comes faster towards Doomguy with the urge to devour him. Doomguy responds by aiming his gun towards the face and blows its head off.
"It's happening again…." Doomguy replies while looking down at the dead body to see it disintegrate. He then turns his head back when hearing the howling from within the facility, since firing that gun was enough for them to hear it.
Suddenly the power came online and the lights went on. Doomguy looks up at the ceiling, then aims his gun towards the door behind him to show an empty elevator that leads further down into the vault. He makes his way to the elevator, turns around to face the doorway and presses the button to close it and lead him further down. He knows exactly what he will be facing down there, but this is not the first time he had to clear an entire facility of monsters.
This entire vault is crawling with so many of these zombies. They would be dragging bodies that did not turn to a location and pile them up together to begin a ritual to create what is known as a Gore Nest.
The moment that elevator door opens up, Doomguy fires the first shot at one of the zombies standing in front of the door. He quickly moves out, looks left to right and fires a shot on his right to find another zombie nearby. The gunshots was enough to attract more of these zombies coming from the lower level and running up the stairs to attack him. Doomguy remains fast and keeping his distance at the surprising number of zombies running towards him. Not a single one of them stood a chance against a man carrying an arsenal of weapons.
After wiping out the zombies, he turns his attention to the Gore Nest in the middle of the room and destroys it by ripping out the main heart of it. Destroying the core was enough to destroy the Gore Nest, but it causes an annoying screech that calls the attention of more enemies to show up. It has been a long time since he last fought an Imp, but now they appear around him with the urge to throw fireballs and lunge themselves at him. Seeing this again made him remember, and this was enough to get his blood boil with rage.
"Kill them…. Must… Kill them all!"
And so his fight begins again. He avoids the fireballs and ready his shotgun to blast at close range through the Imps and leave them in a bloody mess on the floor. Surrounded by them, he continues firing his weapon and checking all sides to avoid incoming projectiles or avoid getting too close for them to claw through his body. Despite not facing these Imps for a very long time, Doomguy still shows to have never forgotten about his skills and strength when fighting his enemies in front of him.
With all the Imps lay dead around him, Doomguy continues the hunt through the facility to exterminate more of these zombies that are nothing compare to him. When he faces only a small group, he uses his fists to destroy them and not wishing to waste the ammunition. He would discover some intelligent zombies that are smart enough of how to use a firearm.
Meanwhile, while he continues fighting off against this infestation, he fails to realise someone has been watching him the moment the power went back on. It was Samuel Hayden on Mars. He was inside his office and watching the footage of Doomguy gunning down everything in front of him.
"This is definitely him…." Samuel Hayden replies while leaning his elbows against the table and the bottom of his robotic head against his hands. "VEGA, turn the portal on. It's time we meet."
So Doomguy continues his carnage through this facility and leaves nothing alive to face him. When he ran out of rounds from his laser rifle, he was lucky enough to find a plasma rifle from a dead marine and a couple of grenades. It did not take long to find nothing else to kill as most of the enemies were all together inside the main hall where he came through. The last room in this facility he goes through would be the one where he finds an active portal at the end of the room. This had an orange-coloured portal that actually leads to Mars.
Before going through the portal, his next challenge is to face off against two Hell Knights that come walking through. Doomguy quickly readies his plasma rifle and focus fire on one of them. As soon as they got closer to him, he switches to the double barrel and continues targeting the weaker one. He brought one down on one knee and force to deal with the second one that comes charging in and grabbing a hold of him to force him against the wall. As the Hell Knight attempt to take a bite of him, Doomguy grabs the bottom of its jaw and manage to rip the whole jaw off of its body, then finishes it off by punching through the mouth and give an opening to fire his double barrel to destroy the head. Once it was down, he finishes off the weaken Hell Knight by landing a few strong punches enough to shatter the head.
Doomguy approaches the portal to see the interior of another facility with a different design than the Vault. He can see through the other side that the facility is in a terrible state, but he readies his double barrel and walks through the portal. On the other side he found a few more of these zombies roaming the facility and decides to use just his fists to get rid of them. It did not take long for him to make it outside the building to find himself no longer on Earth but was standing outside on the landscape of Mars.
Terraformed into an Earth-like landscape where people can actually breathe outside the facility, Mars has completely change since the last time he came here. However, he saw the problems straight away when noticing the sky is burning in red and buildings in the distance are on fire. History manage to repeat itself as the demons are back again to destroy everything on Mars.
Doomguy sighs deeply under his helmet when checking the surrounding area and says to himself "How many times do I have to teach you demons a lesson?"
Mars has a population of over sixty thousand people. Over eighty percent of the facility has been put into lockdown to prevent the demons from escaping this installation. All it took was the push of a button by one person to set everything off and transform almost half the population into things that are no longer human. It is unknown what happen to everyone else, either found themselves slaughtered by the demons or fled the planet through other means of transport.
The UAC was equip with actual spaceships and was present during the Hell Wave. The UAC Elite Guards and other marines quickly descend onto the planet to help contain the demonic threat and rescue the survivors. Samuel Hayden already gave them the information they need to secure the Argent Tower and try to terminate Olivia Pierce, the one responsible for this invasion in the first place. However, as soon as Olivia release the demons from the cages, things become much harder and more chaotic on the surface that forces the marines to retreat. Only one person could last much longer than an army of marines.
It did not take long for Doomguy to get communications with someone still inside the facility. He calls out to him as soon as he enters the facility again to search for a nearby Gore Nest.
"Hello, I am VEGA the sentient intelligence assigned to Mars. I am here to assist you on disabling the lockdowns as soon as the demonic presence is put to a minimum. Doctor Hayden would like to have a word with you."
"Welcome. I'm Doctor Samuel Hayden, I'm the head of this facility. I think we can work together and resolve this problem in a way that benefits us both."
Doomguy stops the moment he heard that second voice. He remembers that voice well, back when he was still inside Vault 111. "I won't kill you, but I can't have you stand in my way. Until we meet again." Those are the words he said to him before going back into a frozen state.
"It's you…" Doomguy mutters and proceeds to move forward
"I know why you're here. But right now if you wish to save everyone on Earth, there's one person that need to be eliminated in order to establish control."
"There's a nearby teleporter I can activate for you." VEGA replies "It'll take you to the Foundry. There's an emergency, the regulators have been destroyed and the core temperatures are now destabilizing."
"They've overrun the adjacent facility. If the venting turbines aren't re-engaging, neither of us will survive the meltdown." Samuel Hayden responds
Doomguy hates this, but if he wants to return to Earth, this demonic threat needs to be taken care of or else he might return to see the Commonwealth just as worse than ever before. He would continue with his fight and punch through to reach the Gore Nest first and then proceed through the portal the moment VEGA activates it.
As he continues his way to the Foundry, Samuel says one last thing to him "You may not agree with our research, but know this, WE exploited Hell and its resources because it was in mankind's best interest to do so. What you see now in this facility is the cost of progress. Hmm, but none of that matters now."
In order to prevent the meltdown, Doomguy needs to lower the demonic threat inside the Foundry by destroying a few Gore Nests, as well as wiping out a large handful of demons that continue to roam free across this entire area. With enough ammo and some new guns he found inside the facility, Doomguy was completely ready to fight whatever is in front of him.
While Doomguy begins his fight in the Foundry, Samuel Hayden gets a call on his computer from some of the sole survivors that manage to survive the chaos from the demons. It did not take long to get the approval from the ARC on Earth to infiltrate a UAC facility and pass through the portal to reach Mars. As much as Samuel wishes for them to remain where they are and wish for them to stay out of this because he has things under control, they refuse to listen, so they dispatch another wave of marines to help contain the demonic threat.
As soon as they pass through the portal to Mars, they found themselves under heavy fire by the sudden surprise from the demons. They fought only the Imps and manage to clear a path, but as soon as they encounter a Summoner, things became tense as the Summoner already began conjuring more demons into the fight, as well as support from Hell Knights. Despite being equip with medium and heavy plate armour, along with heavy weaponry, the fight was tense than the monsters they fought on Earth. Fireballs powerful enough to melt through the armour, claws strong enough to tear through the skin and facing a Pinky with harden skin at the front was already difficult to kill. These troopers found themselves fighting a new enemy for the first time, and they are losing more people everytime they engage them inside the facilities.
This was the whole reason why the ARC was made for, as a contingency plan if the UAC falls to demonic influence, so the ARC sent another platoon of another thirty troopers and actually perform much better than the first wave. The first wave was unable to continue any further because the loss of too many troopers, while some need medical treatment right now that forces the rest to protect them in case the demons arrive again. The second wave would punch through and clear a path for them to enter the Argent Tower to secure it. The UAC fleet in orbit would provide cover by sending dropships with plasma weaponry to help from above and offer the troopers a chance of ascending much higher inside the tower. Another wave of reinforcements would arrive an hour after the first wave of troopers passing through the portal. They help bring the injured troopers back through the portal and reinforce the first squad so they could continue the mission. The first squad would take a transport to reach Samuel Hayden's office in the Advanced Research Complex. They would find themselves fighting much heavier demons in that particular area on Mars.
Meanwhile, Doomguy was still on a genocidal path throughout the Foundry. He replace some of his arsenal of weapons with the new design of weapons made by the UAC. He ditch some weapons and replace them with the plasma rifle, rocket launcher and the new combat shotgun with a grenade launcher attach to it. As he continues, he stops and found something that he has long been waiting for this entire time. When he went past a nearby dead body, he stops and turns around to look back at the body to find a chainsaw lodge inside its body. An old friend returns.
He fought his way through the rest of the Foundry, gunned down so many demons and even chainsaw a Hell Knight straight down the middle. After taking care of the last demonic threats, the next room opens to allow him through to activate the cooling turbine. As soon as he presses the button, more demons start to spawn inside the room and another firefight happens again. He fought his way through the Imps and Hell Knights until it was finally over.
"The core temperature is now stabilized." The facility voice replies
Samuel Hayden contacts him again and replies "A primary control room has been activated somewhere nearby… It could be Olivia."
Doomguy went to the next door and made his way to the command station where he overrides the controls to open the security walls that exposes what is on the other side. It is there he finds Olivia on the other side of this harden glass, beginning the process of overriding the controls and placing all power into the Argent Tower.
"She is trying to tear open the portal between our world and theirs." Samuel replies
Doomguy takes aim with his weapon and fires a dozen rounds through the window, but this glass was much harder to actually break through. Olivia never flinch at the attack as she knew his attacks was not going to harm her. There was only one way for Doomguy to take care of things right now, which is to step as far away from the glass and then turn around to pull out the Fatman with still a mini nuke available for him. As soon as Olivia saw what he was doing, she pauses and left shock to see him carrying that weapon in a place like this.
"No…."
Doomguy pulls the trigger and the mini nuke flies straight towards her. The power of that nuke was enough to completely incinerate the entire room and Olivia too. Doomguy turns away as soon as the nuke went off because it was not a good idea to stare at a nuclear explosion. When the blast was finally over, he looks back to see the damage and found no trace of Olivia from that mini nuke.
"You destroyed the command station…." Samuel replies "You're lucky that didn't cause a second meltdown."
"The Argent Tower's systems are now offline, Doctor Hayden." VEGA replies "Olivia didn't have enough time to reroute all power to the tower."
"Well… At least we got something… Alright then, I'll send a transport to send you to me. It's time we meet."
