I was debating in my mind about having someone joining Kitty on this one or not, and I decided to take my chances with Magik, being her close friend available (since Rachel's with X-Factor working on the Wanda case) and I wanted to give Wind Dancer a chance to shine, I hope I work it out with her.
And yes, since "Dangerous Games" I've made the montages that comprise the covers (Fun Fact about me: I make a living as video editor and graphic designer, so I work a lot with the Photoshop), my early ones are just cropped pictures with minor changes here and there, so I'm glad you also liked the covers!

Chapter 3: A-Pryde-Calypse
"Welcome back my dear sweethearts to the Season Premiere of 'MOJO'S ASTONISHINGLY UNCANNY MULTIVERSAL ADVENTURE'!" Mojo pops out of a large wall of screens, each reflecting a different world from many across the Multiverse "Now, this is the part where you're wondering 'Oh Great and Wonderful Mojo, what's your intention with those pesky little mutants?' and to that I say to you to stick that righteousness right where the sun doesn't…" his outburst is interrupted by Major Domo who gestures off-camera, giving him the signal to go back to his point "Ahem! As I was saying… My intention is always to give you the greatest bloody and gut-wrenching entertainment that only Mojoverse's finest can provide! But unfortunately, mutants became off-limits ever since the Krakoans got pissed-off because I had a couple of muties as my streamers and because I took a wee few creative liberties in my Tournament of Swords adaptation, BUT your brave and fearless leader always finds a way to provide, and the Multiverse has given me the answer!"
"Cue the current location of our intruders" Major Domo gives the pointers of the production crew and right then, the wall of screens show a few worlds with golden pillars installed and in the center one shows a portal opening.
"As we speak, we have our villains of our tale, the overachiever Kitty 'I want to be called Kate because I'm tired of being the X-Men's baby' Pryde and her companions Illyana 'I cry because Mojo showed that I really like to bang crocodiles' Rasputin and Sofia 'I don't even know why I'm still hanging out with people who don't give two #$%&+ about me' Mant-Mantooka? Martella? Marianna? You know what? I'm gonna call her 'The Mutant Lele Pons', and yes, I'm quite aware of Earth's social media, including that TickyTocky crap" he then turns to look at the screens "Now, our girls will make their effort to make me fail, so let's make sure that they are the ones who fail and once I get ahold of the Multiverse's powerful signals, I can show Krakoa who's their daddy! HAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Make sure that you add a very loud canned laughter track when he laughs" Major Domo talks to the production crew as the feed cuts to a wasteland where the portal had just opened.
MEANWHILE, ON EARTH-295
In the middle of a ravaged city, the portal opens revealing the female silhouettes of the women who decided to journey through the Multiverse to stop Mojo's plans: Kitty Pryde, Illyana Rasputina and Sofia Mantega, respectively known as Shadowcat, Magik and Wind Dancer.
"OK, I thought we'd have a weird world as our first stop, not one straight out of that Mad Max movie" Sofia comments, prompting Kitty to chuckle.
"Sofia, you want to know about a 'Mad Max' world? I've seen one where the superheroes were beaten and the few who remain try to survive a day at a time" Kitty comments, remembering her trip to the Wastelands.
"There's something about this place that is oddly familiar" Magik comments as the women begin to walk down the road "What kind of place is this?" she throws the question.
"There's one way to find out" Kitty replies as she begins to check her Webware device "I happen to have Doctor Reed Richards' Multiversal Journal, meaning that I can tell you guys exactly where we landed… Wait, what was the password again?" she tries to remember the journal's access password "Oh right, 'Johnnysajerk'…" she mutters as she types the password and gains access.
"Johnny's a jerk? Which Johnny are you talking about?" Magik asks her.
"Johnny Storm, yanno, the Human Torch" Kitty replies as she keeps checking while Magik simply nods in response.
"Why are you calling him a jerk? He's kinda cute" Sofia tries to defend the Torch but Magik laughs in response.
"Sofia, you only say that because you haven't met him in person but once you do, you'll realize he is a jerk" Magik replies and then looks at Kitty "The real question here is how is it that you have access to a Multiversal journal?" she asks her that, causing Kitty's eyes to widen.
"Oh, well, this Webware used to be my boyfriend's and he worked with heroes before" Kitty quickly replies, trying to hide her mild nervousness "Damn, I hate to lie to Yana like that but she doesn't know that Peter is Spider-Man and her attitude towards him won't help at all" she ponders in her mind until her thoughts are interrupted by a beep on her device, letting her know that the search is complete "OK, according to the Webware, we're on Earth-295, an Earth where the Apocalypse is further embodied beyond the world's structure" she reads the excerpt from Dr. Richards' journal.
"So it's an actual apocalyptic world, is what you're saying?" Sofia asks but before anyone could answer, the women are suddenly attacked by what appears to be a group of soldiers in tactical gear targeting the women with their lasers.
"FREEZE!" the leader of the squad aims at them and activates a device to scan them "I detect chronal energies around them" then he points at Magik, detecting bigger spikes from her "This one carries bigger numbers" right then a red hologram with a demonic silhouette appears on his side "We found the Darkchylde target"
"Darkchylde?" Sofia asks with a hint of confusion, but Kitty and Magik know what they are talking about.
"Yana, on 3, we move" Kitty talks to her while Magik shows her fierce look and right then she holds her Soulsword.
"THREE!" Magik exclaims as she quickly makes the jump to attack one of the soldiers with her weapon, prompting Kitty and Sofia to stand in guard and defend themselves.
"Couldn't count down like anybody else?" Sofia sarcastically asks while she releases a gust of wind against a couple of agents pushing them further away. Meanwhile, Kitty remains intangible so their shots go through her as she approaches another couple of soldiers, phasing her hands through their rifles to disrupt them.
"Whoopsie!" Kitty quips as she punches the first soldier and kicks down the second one "Keep going, we have to clear and get out!" she exclaims as she jumps to avoid an incoming barrage of debris coming from the torn down building nearby.
"Don't have to say it twice, Katya!" Magik exclaims as she bounces off the shots with her Soulsword while the women back off, reaching a wall. Right then, Kitty grabs them both and uses her phasing powers to go through the wall, reaching the other side of the building, only to bump into what looks like a pair of demonic creatures.
"Oy Vey, this is not good…" Kitty mutters as she looks at the creatures slowly approaching them, but right then, the creatures stop at the sight of Magik, as if they recognize her from somewhere "OK… this is weird" she mutters until the creatures then bow down in front of her "I stand corrected, this is weird"
"It's not weird" Magik comments, now realizing what is happening "They're from Limbo" she points out that detail, meaning that in this Earth she is also the Regent of Limbo.
"Wait, you can control them?" Sofia asks her but before they could get an answer, the creatures sniff towards Kitty's position and hey begin to growl "I think they're targeting you"
"Oh Gee, ya think!?" Kitty sarcastically quips at her, just as the creatures rush towards her. Kitty manages to remain intangible in order to avoid the attack from the first creature, but the second one fires a blast of Hellfire from its mouth.
"Katya! It's Hellfire! Avoid it!" Magik tries to warn her but Sofia manages to throw a gust of wind strong enough to deviate it, yet it graces Kitty's right arm.
"AGH!" Kitty rolls down, grabbing her arm after feeling the burn of the Hellfire breath from those creatures, now being intercepted by the group of soldiers who attacked them before.
"Damn it, Darkchylde's arrived!" one of the soldiers exclaimed "Take down all the targets!" right then the soldiers fire at both the women and the creatures. The women manage to take refuge behind the debris but one of the creatures jumps to attack.
Meanwhile, the fight is being watched from a distance by a female figure, preying on the combatants from atop one of the damaged buildings as the soldiers fire against the crew of women and the Limbo creatures.
"Guess it's time to make the move" the woman mutters as she unsheathes the claws off her wrist and jumps from one point to the other as she reaches the battlefield, right then she jumps to slash one of the creatures' neck to bring it down, landing right between the fallen body and the group of soldiers.
"Dammit! We got a mutant!" one of the soldiers fires his laser rifle at her but to their surprise, they go through her as well "None of them hit her, they go right through!" those words spark the attention of the women who peek to watch the fight unfold.
The woman jumps to attack two of the soldiers, slashing the arm of one of them and stabbing the other one in his gut, prompting the remaining soldiers to call for a retreat. Then, the woman looks at the remaining creature who looks at her menacingly, ready to pounce at her but the woman manages to avoid the fireball, prompting Kitty to jump out and help the woman while Sofia floats above him and creates a cloud of dust that pushes the creature away and Magik makes an enchantment that sends the creature back where it came from.
"That should do it, but I'm not sure where it would go" Magik comments after she ends her spell "Limbo is considered a separate dimension altogether but I'm not aware of how does that work in alternate universes" she comments while Sofia catches her breath "You OK?"
"Yeah, yeah…" Sofia nods in response "Just a little bit winded up, no pun intended" she adds, knowing that the banter would come after what she just said.
"Hey, it's not like we're not grateful for the help but was the brutality really necessary?" Kitty quips at the woman "And FYI, you're welcome, that ball was Hellfire, which in case you didn't know…"
"Of course I know that a #$%+*%$ Hellfire Ball does!" the woman exclaims as she stands up "And I know because you brought her over here!" she then points at Magik, who approaches alongside Sofia.
"Apparently someone mentioned my name" Magik comments but then she freezes when she notices the woman's face, a detail that Sofia also begins to notice as well.
"Oh my God! Kitty, she looks an awful lot like you!" Sofia points at the woman, prompting Kitty to look at her as well and right then is when she discovers who it is. The woman features a petite, yet fit shape, wears a skintight black leather attire of a crop top and matching pants, long boots and two metallic gauntlets that includes retractable claws similar to Wolverine's, wrapping that up with hazel eyes and short brown hair, yet the facial features matches Kitty's, leading to the only realization there could be.
"You must be me…" Kitty whispers "You're this Earth's Kitty Pryde"
"Yes, I am Kitty Pryde" the local Pryde replies, raising an eyebrow and sounding skeptical at the scene "Are you supposed to be, what, a clone of me?"
"Actually, I'm from an alternate Earth" Kitty replies, causing her dimensional counterpart to look at her quizzically but to her surprise, she relents.
"Huh, I guess that Creed and Darkholme were right" the local Pryde replies while Magik and Sofia approach them "So I take it that they came with you" she then looks at Magik "Yet you reek of Limbo, just like the one from here" she comments, making the reference about this Earth's Magik.
"Is there a war going on or something?" Sofia asks with a hint of nervousness "Because we have kind of a war brewing where we come from and we need to find out what to do Kitty"
"And it seems that I, or at least my 'dimensional counterpart' is involved into this" Magik comments.
"Seems like" Kitty comments and then looks at her counterpart "So how 'bout you tell us what's going on around here so we can help and, hopefully, we gain your assistance with the thing I have going on" she tries to convince her counterpart to allow them to help and after thinking about it for a few seconds, she sighs in response.
"Fine" the local Pryde mutters "Follow me, we shouldn't stay put for too long" she comments, prompting the women to follow her as they begin to trek the wrecked down city.
AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF WALKING
"OK, I think we walked long enough to ask what's going on around here" Sofia comments, sounding a bit frustrated but the local Pryde turns lo look at her from the corner of her eye.
"Alright, since you asked nicely" the local Pryde sarcastically replies "There is a war going on around here, but the fighters are different" she begins to explain "On one side you got the humans from the High Human Council who seek to repel the remains of our ruler and on the other the Limbo creatures who work under the service of Illyana Rasputina"
"My turn to ask" Magik interjects "How did my counterpart take over the world? Did she cause this?" she throws the important questions at her.
"That part was easy, all she had to do was take over the void left by Apocalypse after his downfall" the local Pryde replies, but right then Kitty begins to realize something.
"Wait, you said that Apocalypse ruled this Earth? As in En Sabah Nur Apocalypse?" Kitty makes questions, yet she already found out the answer "Guys, I know where we are!" she exclaims as she turns to face her friends "We're in the Age of Apocalypse"
"The Age of Apocalypse?" Sofia asks, since she barely knows about that story.
"Da, an alternate timeline created when Legion, Xavier's crazy-psychotic son, accidentally killed him, forcing Magneto to form the X-Men while En Sabah Nur woke up earlier" Magik explains the story behind this timeline "This place brought us big headaches: Sugar Man, Dark Beast, Nate Grey…"
"Don't remind me of that nudnik" Kitty points that detail to Magik, inevitably remembering how Nate trapped the majority of the X-Men in an 'Alternate Plane of Existence' known as the 'Age of X-Man' where she lived the fake life of being a revolutionary fighter in the name of love.
"Well, then I guess that you brought a problem to this doorstep" the local Pryde mutters, prompting Kitty to walk ahead and intercept her.
"You want to blame us for what another version of Yana is doing?" Kitty confronts her counterpart "The only reason we came here is to look for help, but if you don't want our help, we'll be done and gone" she talks with a serious tone, prompting the local Pryde to frown at her "And that face tells me that the only reason you jumped to help was to make a move against my friend, haven't you?" she asks her.
"Not gonna lie, I was tempted" the local Pryde replies "This Earth's Illyana became a Queen of Limbo and took over the world, leaving the X-Men beaten down and out" then she turns her back to them "And quite frankly, the only thing I want is get some payback to the man who hurt me the most, the man who is holding a couple of X-Men hostage and protects a new piece for his Queen, so if you're going to add to that annoyance, out with it" she then unsheathes her claws, ready to fight but to her surprise, Kitty remains standing in her way as the local Pryde turned around.
"Look, I get that I can be very, very stubborn" Kitty tries to calm down her counterpart.
"No one's arguing against that" Magik quickly interjects.
"And sometimes I don't get the whole picture and realize too late that I may be over my head" Kitty resumes her argument.
"Ugh, tell me about it" Sofia interjects as well.
"But even if I'm willing to fight against me and I'm willing to kick my own ass, we're not leaving until we get the job done, either gaining your help or fighting to fix the problem at hand, so which one's gonna be?" Kitty ends her argument, managing to convince her counterpart to stand down and take a deep breath.
"Very well, we're not that far" the local Pryde relents and resumes the trek with the women following her, managing to walk through at least ten blocks until they reach their destination.
The women discover a massive golden spire, guarded by four creatures similar to the ones they fought previously, but they also manage to find what it looks like an underground entrance. Magik and Sofia pay attention to the structure while both take a good look at the creatures and the entrance.
"What the Hell is that thing?" Sofia points at the structure.
"That's Mojo's Terraforming Spire" Kitty replies, already familiarized with the structure "Mojo, the bad guy we're dealing with, is a sick, twisted dude who wants to use mutants for sadistic entertainment, now he's exploiting the Multiverse to do that" she explains to her counterpart "Those things connect through the Mojoverse, he already tried to do that on my Earth and failed, but it took some effort" she points at the spire and then looks at her friends "We can't destroy it from here, we can temporarily disable it at most"
"And how can you destroy them?" Magik asks her friend.
"They have to be destroyed at the power source back at the Mojoverse" kitty replies "Which is why we're here to recruit you" she then looks at her counterpart "Phasing it would destroy it, but being such a massive structure, it would be preferable to have more than one Kitty Pryde to do it".
"So you help me with this and in exchange you want me to help you with that" the local Pryde replies "Alright, but this is not the thing you're helping me with, I'll explain it later" she adds.
"Alright, now, is there anything or anyone else we should be concerned?" Sofia asks the local Pryde.
"Yes, the Queen's lapdog" the local Pryde replies "Who also happens to be my #$%&+*&% ex-husband" she mutters, prompting the women to connect the dots in their mind.
"Is he…" Kitty throws the first words of the question.
"Who we think it is?" Magik completes the sentence.
"It's Colossus, right?" Sofia throws the question yet also answers it "It is Colossus! Man, and I thought you dumping him at the altar was bad" she comments, prompting Kitty and Magik to glare at her.
"Sofia! One, that was inappropriate and Two, how'd you know about that!?" Kitty scolds her after what he said, prompting the young mutant to lower her head in embarrassment.
"I… heard Megan and Hisako talk about it…" Sofia replies, revealing her knowledge thanks to her friends Pixie and Armor.
"Focus ladies" Magik interrupts, looking visibly annoyed at the scene "Let's jump down and make the move" she then looks at Kitty "What's the plan?"
"You guys handle the creatures" Kitty looks at Magik and Sofia "Me and myself are going down to get those two X-Men out" she then looks at her counterpart "Lead the way"
"You got it" the local Pryde replies and then phases down with Kitty following suit while Magik looks at Sofia.
"This is it, you ready?" Magik asks Sofia who nervously nods her head.
"I hope I survive the experience" Sofia replies "Don't get me wrong, it's cool that we can resurrect but let's not do that again" she comments while Magik leads the path down towards the spire, sensing how the creatures sniff her out.
"It's good to know that you're not like the others who actually want to die and resurrect" Magik responds to her comment, referencing those who became 'addicted' to dying and getting resurrected by the Five, an action that deeply concerns her due to what she has heard from Nightcrawler.
"I really don't want to die again" Sofia walks alongside Magik as they approach the massive spire and see three creatures guarding it.
Magik walks towards them first as she grabs her Soulsword and takes a look at the middle creature. The three of them halt their march and slowly approach her, sniffing her out and recognizing the essence of Limbo from her, leaving them distracted enough for Sofia to release a massive gust of wind from below them, lifting them up and spinning them around to scatter them out.
"Well, that part was easy" Magik nonchalantly comments but right then the women are surrounded by five more creatures "I spoke too soon" she comments as she looks at one of the creatures growling at her, jumping down to attack her, prompting her to block his mouth with her Soulsword.
"God, I hope Kitty and the other Kitty are doing well" Sofia comments as she uses her wind abilities to throw debris at the creatures, keeping them at bay while she floats to avoid the Hellfire breath of another of them.
MEANWHILE, DOWN BELOW
As the fight against the Limbo creatures rages on, both Kitty Prydes managed to phase down and reach what it looks like a long aisle down a cavern. Both women look at each other and nod and walk ahead, with the local Pryde leading the way.
"So… you dumped your Piotr in the altar?" the local Pryde tries to engage in small talk "Smart move" she adds with a hint of scorn.
"What pushed you to hate your Piotr?" Kitty asks her out of curiosity, yet she sounds annoyed at how she resents her version of Colossus.
"Because that bastard wanted to hold on his sister so badly that when Magneto tried to sacrifice her to restore the original world, he went on a rampage and killed me" the local Pryde replies, telling her how things went down with her now ex-husband "Somehow I came back to life, one day I was a bounty hunter of sorts, the next one, two of the X-Men ask me to help with dealing with these creatures, and the only thing I want is to get out of this #$ %&+* hellhole" she mutters, now allowing Kitty to share a sense of sympathy.
"I get it, things didn't work out and sounds like he's got his priorities settled" Kitty comments "As for getting you out, you help us out and you get to travel with us" she adds as they approach and discover the two prisoner X-Men, surprising Kitty with their identities "Oh my God, Kurt?" she recognizes one, resembling Nightcrawler but with a black, white and red attire and a red mark on his face "I think I know this one" she whispers, recalling that a different Nightcrawler was working with Wolverine's X-Force crew after the infamous Schism, knowing that it was not the real Kurt Wagner since he was dead during that time.
"Rise and shine, big guy" the local Pryde mutters as she breaks the chains that hold the other one, a large blonde feral man in an orange and brown attire. When Kitty phases out the local Nightcrawler, she turns to look at the other one, gasping as she realizes his identity.
"Is that… Sabretooth?" Kitty asks, recognizing him as Wolverine's fiercest rival.
"Wassabout time, lil' brat" Sabretooth tries to joke as he catches his breath.
"Vas Ist?" Nightcrawler asks, looking at Kitty with wide eyes "Pryde?" he then looks at the local one helping Creed "Zwei Kätschens?" he asks, looking a bit startled.
"Long story" the local Pryde replies "Found outsider help, two more are fighting the creatures above" she explains the situation to her released allies.
"Then we should go an' help" Sabretooth replies and then looks at Nightcrawler "You ready to teleport?"
"As long as I get to kill whatever creatures are above" Nightcrawler replies, approaching his comrade.
"Thanks for the help and you as well" Sabretooth nods in appreciation for both Prydes' assistance "See you on the flipside" he adds while Nightcrawler bamfs to join the fight above.
"That was easy" Kitty replies but right then, the ground begins to vibrate, followed by the sound of stomps that approach their location, signaling the arrival of the man who was guarding the prisoners.
"Of all the people I thought would arrive here…" the thick Russian accent is heard "I did not wanted to see you as the one who would come, Katya" the man steps out of the shadows, revealing to be Colossus.
"The ex-husband… sure he looks mad" Kitty mutters to her counterpart.
"Am I seeing double?" Colossus asks, startled at the sight of two different, yet similar Kitty Prydes.
"You know what they say: Double-Double, Toil and Trouble" the local Pryde unsheathes her claws but she is suddenly stopped by her counterpart.
"I have an idea, follow me!" Kitty grabs her arm to turn her around, prompting her to follow her and causing Colossus to start chasing them up to the exit.
BACK TO THE MAIN BATTLE
The battle was becoming more intense due to the larger presence of creatures, with Magik and Sofia doing their best to hold them off, with two more creatures leaping at them, but the first one is intercepted by Nightcrawler who bamfs in front of the creature and slashes it with his sword.
The other one is caught by Sabretooth, forcing his claws around his neck only to slash it as they land, prompting the remaining creatures to surround them as they prepare to make their last attack.
"Is that Illyana?" Nightcrawler asks his companion but before he could attack, Sabretooth intercepts him.
"Hey, from what I've learned, she may look like her but she ain't her" Sabretooth talks to him and then looks at Magik "You smell like Limbo, but you also smell like a place I know" he then approaches her "By any chance are you friends with Psylocke?"
"You mean Betsy Braddock?" Magik asks him "Because if you do, there's something you should know" Magik replies, considering about telling him how Betsy regained her original body and is no longer the one he knew but before she could elaborate, they all notice how both Kitty Prydes rush through the exit, immediately followed by a rampaging Colossus who bursts out breaking rocks and dirt around him.
"HOLY #$%&!" Sofia exclaims as she makes a wind barrier that slows him down.
"HHHHRRRRGGGHHH!" Colossus growls as he relents, looking around to see everyone as the enemy but then he freezes when he spots Magik in the place "Bozhe Moi… Illyana?" he looks confused at the sight of his sister but that moment is when Sabretooth and Nightcrawler take advantage and attack him with slashes that, while do not cause physical damage, they do manage to distract him, all the while both Kitty Prydes look on.
"Alright, you had a plan, let's hear it" the local Pryde faces Kitty with an annoyed look.
"We just need him to ram that spire; it'll disable it temporarily and give you guys enough time to move out" Kitty replies, running into position as she faces the fight "Hey Big Guy!" she calls him out to attract his attention "Guess it's true what they say about you being the Queen's lapdog, fighting friends for her twisted cause" she tries to dare him and the look of pure anger on his face confirms how provoked he is "The Colossus I know values the lives of many, including the woman he loved… but I know you're far from being man enough as he is".
"You disrespect me!?" Colossus angrily turns to face her "I will finish what I started that time and END YOU!" he then begins to gain momentum to run towards her but as he gets close enough she goes intangible, allowing him to phase through her and crashes head-on against the spire "You think… this would stop me?" he asks as he tries to regain his composure.
"Honestly, I doubt it" the local Pryde confronts her ex-husband "But I know this will" she comments as she holds a large metal pipe and phases it through his body and the spire effectively impaling him, causing a massive electrical surge that goes through his body, expanding to the creatures electrocuting them in the process. The energy grows exponentially, triggering a massive explosion as Kitty holds Magik and Sofia while the local Pryde does the same with Sabretooth and Nightcrawler, turning intangible so they can all go through the explosion.
A WHILE LATER
Once the dust has settled, the group managed to escape and go further, having avoided another round of human troopers who went to investigate the battle. Magik, Sofia and both Prydes stood on a cliff while Sabretooth and Nightcrawler stand on a road, ready to make their move.
"You sure you don't want to join us?" Nightcrawler asks her "Your claws would be very handy against everyone out there" he comments but the local Pryde shakes her head in denial.
"I appreciate the offer but I'm already attached to another commitment" the local Pryde replies while the men nod in understanding.
"Let's hope our paths cross again" Sabretooth replies bidding his farewell and then looks at the remaining women "Good luck in your road, and if you see Betsy, tell her Creed from the Exiles said Hi" he waves goodbye just as Nightcrawler bamfs both of them out of the place, leaving the women on the place.
"OK, now that we're done with that, what's next?" the local Pryde asks her counterpart.
"Now I recruit you into our fold and prepare for the next trip" Kitty replies as she activates her Dimensional Device but as she checks it, she begins to realize of one minor detail "Wait a minute… AWWW MAN!" she exclaims in annoyance "I forgot that my device doesn't create other ones!" she mutters, remembering that the only device that allowed to create newer devices for the recruits was the one her boyfriend had.
"So then what're you gonna do?" Magik asks her "We're following your plan of recruiting Kitty Prydes so we have to move to the next one" she comments, pointing out that key detail.
"Does that mean that she's coming along on the trip?" Sofia throws the question, making Kitty realize that it is the only option.
"It's for the best, since I can't send her to another place anyways" Kitty replies "Besides, my counterpart wanted to get out of this world, right? Well this is her ticket" she then activates her device, opening the portal that will lead them to the next Earth "Welcome to the Multiversal Army of Kitty Prydes".
"You need to workshop that name" the local Pryde replies with a deadpan tone.
"We have to stay alive beforehand" Kitty comments "For now, on to the next stop!" right then the group jump through the portal, heading onto their next mission with the first recruit in tow.
MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE MOJOVERSE
"WHAT! WAS! THAT! CRAP!?" Mojo angrily exclaims "They travel to the freaking AGE OF APOCALYPSE and you tell me that the guy's DEAD!?"
"What can I say, sir? We haven't updated our Multiversal entries since the Incursion Crisis" Major Domo replies with his calm tone, yet Mojo remains agitated.
"At least tell me you put Plan B into motion!" Mojo comments with his angry tone, to which Major Domo nods his head in response.
"Of course, sir" Domo replies as he activates a television screen revealing a damaged, but very much alive Colossus from the Age of Apocalypse "We managed to follow the chronal energy flow to pinpoint their location and then we managed to pull him out through the spire, right on time before the brief deactivation and the explosion" he adds, revealing how he survived the explosion.
"You see, it's because of things like this that I like to keep you around Major Domo" Mojo replies as he shows his wicked grin "If Little Miss Kitty's building her own army, then I must do the same too!" he exclaims, ready to prepare his own countermeasures against Kitty's plan.
Alright folks, let's go by parts…
First of all, I'm very sorry it took so long for an update. Things have become very hectic in my work and other stuff going on, which made me be incredibly late with an update. I'll try my best to avoid being so late but I'll assure you that I never leave a story unfinished and that, one way or another, ?ill deliver to you, my loyal followers and fans.
Second, we have our first recruit! The Kitty Pryde from the Age of Apocalypse (whom, from this point forward, will be referred to as "Shadow-Pryde") makes an epic return to this adventure, and as you have seen, her ex-husband Colossus is now joining on Mojo's side, which means that things will be hectic once the big moment comes.
Finally, as you have seen before, I'm going back and forth between this story and the "Spider-Four" one, but keep an eye for how both of them flow! They will connect, I promise you that! As for the next chapter, we'll go through a very different era and meet a very different Kitty. See you around!
