Hi there folks! Welcome back to a brand new chapter of Kitty Pryde's very own Multiversal Adventure! In our last chapter, Kitty, alongside Magik, Wind Dancer and her Age of Apocalypse counterpart (a.k.a. Shadow-Pryde) have recruited Earth-13116's Kitty, a.k.a. Kung-Fu Kitty, to their journey. But Mojo also managed to bring another villain to his sideshow: That Earth's Viper.
Now, they'll venture into a world that once had a mutant president but then everything went wrong and brought another conflict that crossed over to 616, so consider this a revisit to this world. But before we jump into the action, let's check on the reviews!
Timeless Writer: Glad you liked them! A funny thing is that while I visualized the scene, I build it while listening to a classic song: "Kung-Fu Fighting (Bus Stop Remix)" from the Shaolin Soccer soundtrack. It really helped to build this fight scene.
Ka1zen: This one is actually one of the few alternate versions seen back in that Secret Wars, and as for finding alternate versions of Spidey, hard to tell, but who knows? Maybe she will, maybe she won't.
Cornholio4: Yup, that was quite a mess. Hickman is the kind of writer you read more than once but only to try to understand what he tries to say. And yes, Shadow-Pryde has quite the "Trucker's mouth", LOL!

young justice 17: This chapter might have what you're asking for, but keep in mind one thing: Kitty needs to be cautious about asking for Spider-Man without sounding too interested since not many people know about his identity and for the general knowledge (except for those who know Peter is Spider-Man) Kitty's boyfriend is Peter while Spider-Man is just her partner.

SHADOWCAT: INTO THE KITTY-VERSE
Chapter 5: Great Pryde Minds Think Alike
In what it looks like another wasteland in the middle of a ravaged city, a portal opens revealing the incoming figures walking through it: Kitty Pryde of Earth-616 leads the fray with her friends Illyana Rasputina, a.k.a. Magik and Sofia Mantega, a.k.a. Wind Dancer, and right behind them walk the Kitty Prydes of Earth-295 and Earth-13116.
"Travelling like this feels very disorienting" Kung-Fu Kitty comments, feeling dizzy from her first dimensional trip through a portal.
"It happens once you start, but then you get used to it" Sofia replies while the group begins to walk down the streets.
"Do we know where we are?" Magik poses the question.
"If you ask me, this feels like home" Shadow-Pryde comments with a sarcastic tone, noticing the resemblance with her own Earth.
"According to the Webware, we're on Earth-13729" Kitty replies "And according to Doctor Richards' notes, it is known that this Earth had a mutant President of the United States" she adds another detail, one that curiously causes Magik to ponder.
"That sounds oddly familiar…" Magik mutters as the group walks down the street until they notice a wall full of brunt posters.
"Hey, take a look at this" Sofia points at the wall of posters, barely recognizing the faces across the wall, and a few words scattered on a few of them "I think it's a blonde woman" she comments, noticing the streaks of blonde hair.
"I can see the words 'BLA' on them" Kung-Fu Kitty comments as she looks at the wall.
"I see a P and then a DENT" Shadow-Pryde joins on the conversation "There's an RE around it" she adds, prompting Kitty and Magik to approach them.
"Something like 'President'?" Kitty poses the question "I think I see an F, maybe an F-O"
"For President" Sofia completes the sentence.
"Then the name's Blaire?" Shadow-Pryde poses the question to the group.
"A blonde woman named Blaire who ran for President? This realm is truly different from what I know" Kung-Fu Kitty comments, prompting Kitty and Magik to realize something.
"Wait, Blaire? As in Alison Blaire?" Kitty throws the question but then Magik gasps.
"Bozhe Moi!" Magik exclaims with a hint of concern "I know where we are!"
"You do?" Sofia asks out of curiosity.
"Remember the time when the X-Men were still split?" Magik asks Kitty "I was with Scott and you were with Logan, back when Hank brought he Original 5 back from the past"
"Yeah, I remember" Kitty replies, trying to gather the memories while the rest of the group look the scene.
"There was a time when an alternate Brotherhood came to our time pretending to be the X-Men and demanding that the Original 5 were sent back to the past" Magik continues her explanation "When I travelled here, I met the real X-Men and learned the story of what happened"
"So what happened" Kung-Fu Kitty asks out of curiosity.
"Alison Blaire became the first mutant as President of the United States" Magik begins to explain "But on the night of her inaugural speech, she got murdered" she reveals what became the downfall of that unified world "Hank McCoy lost his mind and joined a new Brotherhood led by the sons of Charles Xavier and Mystique, respectively"
"Wait, you got another crazy evil Hank McCoy?" Shadow-Pryde asks, making the reference to the one in her world "Maybe we should start killing every McCoy in sight, just in case" she adds, prompting Kitty to glare at her.
"Yes, I remember them" Kitty replies to Magik's story "And I also remember that you brought the X-Men from that future to help, which of course ended with me leaving Westchester to join Scott's team" she adds remembering that moment. In that incident Kitty was the ward of the time-displaced Original 5 but Wolverine and his team were very adamant in sending them back to the past, even to the point of chasing them like criminals when they escaped and even disregarding Kitty's input, prompting her to leave Logan's team and joining Scott's after feeling disappointed in them.
"But wait" Sofia interjects "Does that mean that we're in that future where Dazzler got murdered?" she poses the question "What happened to the X-Men?"
However, before anyone could answer that question, the conversation is interrupted by two towering shadows that begin to appear above them, prompting the women to turn around and discover a massive and very familiar threat.
"Mutant Anomalies Detected" the electronically distorted voice of the Sentinel speaks aloud, charging the beam out of its hand as it aims it at them.
"#$%&! Sentinels!" Kitty exclaims as Magik summons her Soulsword to defect the beam while Sofia releases a gust of wind that moves a bunch of debris that blocks the remaining beams.
"I thought the only sentinels were the ones the future X-Men handled" Magik comments as she and Sofia remain in a defensive stance while the Sentinel prepares for another strike.
"What are those machines!?" Kung-Fu Kitty asks in astonishment as she and her fellow counterparts run to the side and reach one of the buildings.
"Those are Sentinels" Shadow-Pryde replies "Mutant Hunting Mother#$%&*+" she then looks at the Prime Kitty "They won't hold out for long, what's the plan?"
"We go high and do our thing" Kitty replies as she enters the building and heads to the stairs, climbing all the way up with her counterparts following.
"What does she mean with 'do our thing'?" Kung-Fu Kitty asks Shadow-Pryde with a hint of confusion.
"She means that when we reach the top, we jump to one of those things and use that 'Intangible Fist' thing of yours" Shadow-Pryde replies, letting her know exactly about the plan.
"Face Front, ladies!" Kitty exclaims as she reaches the top, just on the side of the Sentinel who quickly detects them.
"Mutant Anomalies Detected" the Sentinel's voice is heard but suddenly it remains still "Error, Detecting Multiple Repeated Anomalies. Error. Error. Error." It begins to malfunction due to detecting the same mutant multiple times, a factor that Kitty takes advantage of to jump off the rooftop and then turns intangible to phase through the machine with her counterparts following suit, flowing through the giant machine that begins to burst into exploding sparks until it drops to the ground malfunctioning.
"That was very entertaining!" Kung-Fu Kitty exclaims, feeling the rush of having used her powers in a very different way than what she is used to.
"You're a very excitable one, aren't you?" Shadow-Pryde asks with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"One down, let's hope Yana and Sofia can handle the other one" Kitty comments as she looks around to search for other Sentinel since her friends are handling that situation.
Magik tries to summon her Hellfire magic for a strike while Sofia keeps throwing debris at the machine but all efforts seem to fail to bring down the machine. The Sentinel makes another charge and prepares to attack but suddenly it begins to freeze, becoming shrouded in a thick layer of ice all over its structure.
"What the…?" Magik whispers as she looks at the scene, noticing how the Sentinel is now frozen solid until suddenly the machine explodes with another figure emerging from the explosion. A humanoid figure flies through the pieces and lands near the group of women, a man wearing what resembles a battle armor with Sentinel features and an 'X' marked on its chestplate.
"Are you OK?" the man asks them while he slowly approaches them just as Kitty and her counterparts arrive to join them.
"Who the Hell are they?" Shadow-Pryde asks as she unsheathes her claws and Kung-Fu Kitty makes a fighting stance but Kitty intervenes.
"Relax guys, I think we know them" Kitty comments, to which Magik nods to confirm.
"We do, actually" Magik replies and then looks at the man "You're Shogo Lee, right? Jubilee's Kid"
"And we remember you" another male voice responds to her question, coming from a cloud of vapor that slowly transforms into an old man wearing a wizard garb and a carries a baton.
"Bobby?" Kitty asks but then she begins to realize who is he "You're the Ice Wizard, right?"
"Correct on both accounts" Robert replies and then looks at Sofia, who has a dumbfounded look on her face "Sofia? Sofia Mantega?"
"You're Bobby Drake?" Sofia asks him, still in the middle of her shock.
"Sir Robert Drake, actually" Robert replies with his serious, yet calm demeanor.
"I guess that means she's the same Illyana who came to this timeline a few years ago" Shogo points out that detail, thus confirming Magik's story, but then he looks at Kitty and her counterparts "Wait, am I seeing triple?" he points at them, prompting Robert to ponder about the scene as he rubs his beard.
"This is a fascinating scene" Robert comments and then he approaches Kitty "Is there a reason why you're travelling with what I assume are versions of you from another universe?"
"There is actually" Kitty replies with a serious tone "If we head back to the Mansion, I'll explain every detail, but for the time being, I'll just say that we're on a mission to stop Mojo's crazy dimensional attacks and I'm searching for other versions of me from other universes"
"Mojo?" Shogo asks "That should explain the giant golden spire that appeared outside the city" he realizes what is happening and then contacts his allies through the communicator on his wrist "Quentin? I think we found out the reason behind that huge golden spire, we're bringing extra guests with us" he contacts Quentin Quire, the host of the Phoenix Force in that alternate future.
"I already know who's coming with you, I'm already dealing with the one of our own" Quire replies, implying that this Earth's Kitty Pryde is already with them "Tell them to hold on their pants, Wiccan is already dispatching one of his teleporting spells".
"Even with the power of the Phoenix, Quentin's still a dumbass" Kitty mutters to Magik, who stifles a laugh in response.
Right then, a large circle of blue energy emerges underneath the group of heroes, the signal that Wiccan's spell is well underway. Everyone around begins to glow as the indication that the teleportation is taking effect and in a flash of light, the group disappears, heading to the Jean Grey School in Westchester.
RIGHT THEN, AT WESTCHESTER
Outside of the place known as the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, a flash of light emerges in the front garden, a few feet away from the main entrance of the Academy, revealing the arrival of the group of heroes with the Ice Wizard and Sentinel-X leading the way, followed by Kitty, Magik and Sofia and Kitty's counterparts for last.
"I thought you said it got easier the more we do it" Kung-Fu Kitty comments, feeling dizzy from the teleporting since she is still not accustomed to the sudden transportation.
"Well, we're in for a long ride, so might as well get a barf bag or something" Shadow-Pryde replies to her counterpart while the rest of the group is greeted by Wiccan, that Earth's Sorcerer Supreme.
"Greetings everyone, I apologize if the spell was a bit abrupt but time is of the essence" Wiccan greets the arriving heroes with a calm yet serious tone.
"Spare the diplomacy dude" Quentin Quire interjects as he enters the room "Would you look at that, the Nasty Sorceress and the Uptight Kitten" he greets them with his usual smug attitude.
"Great, Quentin #$%&+* Quire" Kitty mutters "Y'know, I'm still finding hard to believe that you of all people are eligible for the Phoenix Force" she complains while Robert steps in.
"There'll be time for bickering but now we have to deal with bigger priorities" Robert speaks to calm them down "Kitty, you said that you have a story about your arrival that involves Mojo and, as Shogo suspects, the towering spire that emerged out of nowhere"
"Not quite 'out of nowhere', Bobby" Kitty begins to explain "Shogo is right, the spire does come from the Mojoverse"
"I knew it!" Shogo briefly exclaims in victory but then he steps back.
"Mojo is using energies from other dimensions across the Multiverse, thus the Golden Spires" Kitty continues her explanation.
"But what about the Spires? Can they be destroyed?" Wiccan asks them with concern.
"You can damage them, I can tell you that much" Shadow-Pryde intervenes.
"You can dent them but you won't disable them, they have to be destroyed from the source" Magik joins the talk.
"Which is why I'm putting a plan into motion, but for that to work, I'm recruiting other versions of myself for this" Kitty finishes her explanation.
"Thus, the presence of your dimensional counterparts" Robert points out that detail to them "Which means that you're searching for this Earth's Kitty Pryde" he adds.
"And how about the Sentinels?" Sofia steps in with the question "Those things that attacked us, who's running them?"
"They were assembled by an automated program" Wiccan replies "Not a Master Mold, more like a coded program, registered as N-1-M-R-0-D"
"Just call it for what it is, it's #$%&+* Nimrod!" Quire interjects, looking visibly annoyed "And coincidentally, two more Sentinels are guarding that spire thing, and we have our resident genius dealing with it" he adds, making the reference about the local Kitty Pryde.
"We can help" Kitty replies with determination "Let me go to your Kitty Pryde and I can help her out"
"While we deal with the machines and bring another threat down" Kung-Fu Kitty adds to Kitty's plan.
"I must say that this is quite an improvement" Robert comments "We can make it through"
"Then let's not haste" Wiccan intervenes as he begins to prepare another spell "Katherine, I'll send you to your counterpart while the rest of us prepare to battle"
"Be careful guys" Kitty talks to them before she departs while Quire puffs and concentrates to make a telepathic call.
"Hey Pryde, sorry to interrupt in your computer binge but we got news, we're sending help" Quire contacts that Earth's Kitty Pryde.
"Who are you sending?" the voice of Pryde responds his message.
"Let's just say that you'll be talking to yourself quite a lot" Quire replies with a mix of sarcasm as the rest of the heroes prepare to battle.
RIGHT THEN, AT ANOTHER LOCATION
While the rest of the X-Men were ready to fight against the N1MR0D Sentinels, that Earth's Kitty Pryde was hard at work to ensure they would have an advantage against them by disabling the N1MR0D program itself.
"Ugh! Damn you Quentin, you left me hanging with the answer" the local Kitty mutters as she tries to reconnect but a flash of light emerges in the room, revealing the presence of the Prime Kitty Pryde in the place "What the…?"
"I would say the same" Kitty replies to her counterpart but then she stops as she notices the memories of that infamous incident coming to her mind "Oy vey…" she mutters while her counterpart looks at her flabbergasted.
"Who are you?" the local Kitty asks her, prompting Kitty to shake her head to get out of her stupor.
"Sorry, I thought Quentin told you, I'm Kitty Pryde, I've come from another dimension looking for other versions of me for a plan against Mojo" Kitty tries to explain her but her counterpart looks skeptical "OK, I get it, you don't believe me and I really wish I had one of my telepath friends over here" she then looks at her face "I'm sorry, I just look at you and I remember that it was a shapeshifter who fooled us and…"
"Wait… you mean a blue-skinned, clawed scumbag with a #$%&+* attitude?" the local Kitty asks her, to which Kitty nods in response as she knows the reference from Raze Darkholme, the son of Mystique and Wolverine from that Earth.
"Yeah, I thought it was you but not even I could be such a #$%&+* Yenta" Kitty replies, prompting her counterpart to scoff a laugh.
"Alright, seems that you're me indeed" the local Kitty relaxes as Kitty approaches her.
"So I guess that he did took your place" Kitty comments, prompting her counterpart to frown her face.
"Almost killing me in the process" the local Kitty replies, lifting her shirt to reveal the scars of the gutting from Raze "So while we're at it, please tell me your Logan is neutered"
"He's as far away from Mystique as humanly possible" Kitty replies "But let's focus on the task at hand" she then approaches the computers "They told me that this N1MR0D is an A.I. and I take it that you're trying to break the programming"
"Yeah, I'm working on a virus, but then we got the surprise of some weird golden spire" the local Kitty comments as she retakes her work.
"Yeah, that's why I'm here" Kitty replies as she sits by her left side "Those spires come from the Mojoverse, I'm gathering a group of Kitty Prydes to destroy the power source directly at the root, but me and my crew got a rule: We help you out with your problem so you can help us out in return" she comments, prompting her counterpart to smile at her.
"Then let's get down on it" the local Kitty replies as she works on the code to infect N1MR0D.
"Hey, I have a question…" Kitty looks at her counterpart "Whatever happened to the Spider-Man of this world?" she felt curious about how did her boyfriend fared in this, and maybe other Earths, but she had to be cautious due to the fact that those unaware of Peter's identity might make the connection, including her friends, which is why for those unaware of that detail, Peter Parker is her boyfriend and Spider-Man is her crime-fighting partner.
"Spider-Man?" the local Kitty asks with a hint of curiosity "Didn't know you were close, but if it's any worth… He fell in the fight at Stark Tower, sorry" she replies, prompting Kitty to sigh at the fact that she is in a Universe where her beloved Peter Parker died.
"It's a shame that such a great hero had to be gone too soon, but… I take the silver lining that he fought until the end doing what he does best, trying to save everyone he can" Kitty comments with a gentle smile, remembering the greatest virtue of Peter Parker.
"Oy vey, you really are close, aren't you?" the local Kitty comments with a hint of sarcasm but then she scoffs a laugh "Alright, putting your apparent 'Spider-Crush' aside, let's focus on what we have in our hands; you're here to help me out with the code?"
"Yes, because while I'm sure you can crack the code in record time, we need to break that record to make it and send it back to that machine" Kitty replies as she begins to duplicate and build a new code around the one already programmed by her counterpart "We can beat this thing"
"Let's hope our friends can handle it long enough" the local Kitty comments, confident that they will make it through and bring down that system.
RIGHT THEN, OVER THE SPIRE
Once the X-Men and Kitty's counterparts arrived at the location, they immediately met with fierce opposition not only from two massive Sentinels, but also from a barrage of smaller Wild Sentinels built to attack.
"Hold Fast, X-Men!" Wiccan exclaims as he works on defensive spells "If we can't take down that spire, then let's focus on damage it"
"Who named you the boss?" Quire sarcastically asks while he unleashes a wave of cosmic flames that bring down a good chunk of Wild Sentinels.
"These machines do look dangerous" Kung-Fu Kitty comments as she stands in guard against a couple of Wild Sentinels, punching one with the palm of her hand to push him far into pieces "But I'm trained to fight even deadlier rivals, so let them come and feel the fury of my fists!" she exclaims as she connects a barrage of punches and a jumping roundhouse kick to another one.
"Where'd you find that version of Kitty?" Shogo asks Sofia while he blasts one of the larger Sentinels while Sofia uses some of the fallen shrapnel pieces to throw them at the machine with her gusts of wind.
"Some Ancient China type of Universe, but hey, she kicks ass and that's all that matters" Sofia replies while she keeps hurting the machine, but the Sentinel fires a massive beam at them, barely managing to dodge it.
"Is it wrong to admit that I'm actually having fun?" Shadow-Pryde comments as she phases and slashes through a bunch of Wild Sentinels while Magik conjures a spell to boost her Soulsword to slash the other Sentinel in half.
"Just don't hog all the fun, I want some pieces too" Magik comments as she holds on her Soulsword, but right then, the eyes of all the Sentinels begin to glow.
"Resistance is Futile, mutants" the voice of N1MR0D is heard through all of the Sentinels "Your kind will be obliterated, and your downfall will be one of many that will splash the waves across the universes" he comments with scorn "Yes, I am aware of the connection through the so-called Mojoverse, and your deaths will be part of the entertainment of hundreds of denizens from so many worlds" he then begins to expand electrified tendrils to catch the fallen pieces of the many Sentinels to rebuild itself.
"Oh $#%&, this ain't good" the Ice Wizard mutters as he tries to freeze the Sentinel pieces but the tendrils strike him to take him down to the ground.
Wiccan creates an energy bubble to protect the group while Sofia uses a gust of wind to throw more debris at the growing Sentinel, just as N1MR0D uses more tendrils to 'plug' itself into the spire and absorb as much energy as it can.
"Let this be the day when mutantkind falls and humanity finally rises up" N1MR0D begins to charge another energy beam, aiming it right to the group but as it reaches its full charge, the machine begins to flicker "Warning, Warning, Foreign Programming Detected"
"What was that?" Kung-Fu Kitty poses the question to the group.
"I guess that the other two Prydes managed to give our bad guy a cyber-ass kicking" Shadow-Pryde replies as the group watches N1MR0D once again flicker and twitch.
"Error. Error. Error. Error. Program Malfunction Detected. Virtual Protections Disabled. ERRRR101011000101010111000" N1MR0D flickers as it tries to reassert control.
"Hey there Dumb-Rod" Kitty's voice is heard through the massive Sentinel.
"You thought you were invincible?" the local Kitty's voice is heard as well while the Sentinel lifts its fists "Here's another question… Why!?" right then one of the fists punches the Sentinel's face.
"Are you hitting?" Kitty's voice speaks as the other fist punches as well.
"Yourself!?" both voices speak simultaneously as the Sentinel keeps punching itself.
"Ano-BZZZZ-ly Detec-BZZZZZ. Pr-BZZZZ-ding to Rebo-BZZZZZ" N1MR0D attempts to reboot its systems, but then the large machine begins to explode little sparks where the tendrils were connected to the Spire and a massive jolt of electricity blows through the Spire firing up to the sky. Right then, the pieces of the Sentinel begin to crumble and drop on the ground.
"And that's how Kitty Pryde rolls" Magik comments as the group begins to relax.
"Was about time" Quentin mutters as the rest of the group gathers "Alright, you finally did it" he communicates telepathically with the Kitty Prydes.
"I'll take it as a 'Thank you'…" the local Pryde replies through the mind link "Now; can you tell Wiccan to pick us up?"
"Hey Kaplan! The Tech Support crew wants to be brought over here" Quentin talks to Wiccan, who rolls his eyes due to his attitude, but complies to bring the women to their location, using one of his teleporting spells to bring them.
"Ooof! That was a doozy" Kitty comments once she and her counterpart arrive to the location of the Spire.
"Thank you so much for helping us with this one" Shogo greets them and thanks the group led by Kitty for their help.
"It was quite a different encounter, but I guess that two Kitty Prydes think better than one" Robert comments, complimenting them for the good work.
"Well, I can't take the whole credit" the local Kitty looks at her Prime Counterpart "I was the right move to come along" then she looks at the destroyed Sentinels and the Spire "But there's still work to do, and for that, I'm joining them to the fight" she adds, indicating her willingness to join the fight against Mojo's plans.
"Good Riddance, then" Quentin sarcastically quips at her.
"We wish you all best of luck in your journey" Wiccan bids his farewell to Kitty's group while Magik and Sofia approach them.
"Is it me or this Kitty looks really old?" Sofia whispers to Magik, who nods in response.
"Da, ever since that encounter, Katya always keeps a bottle of moisturizer" Magik whispers in response, recalling how this encounter motivated Kitty to work on her skin care.
"Welcome to the Club" Shadow-Pryde greets the newcomer and then looks at Kung-Fu Kitty "I guess we had to bump into a Yenta version" she whispers at her, who looks back in confusion.
"What's a Yenta?" Kung-Fu Kitty asks, since she comes from a world where she was not raised through the Judaism, prompting Shadow-Pryde to roll her eyes and scoff in response.
"Thanks for helping out" the local Kitty kindly talks to her Prime Counterpart.
"Thanks to you for joining us" Kitty replies in kind and then she activates her Webware device, opening the portal to their next location, feeling good as they have brought another member to their growing Army, building the offensive against Mojo.
MEANWHILE, AT THE MOJOVERSE
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" Mojo screams in frustration "How is it possible that not even a freaking Sentinel Mash-Up can beat a bunch of mutant guerrilla wannabes!? Is it so much to ask for a #$%&+* Dead Mutant around here!?" he complains as he looks at the screens of his room but then he turns to march towards the production room "DOMO!"
"Yes sir?" Domo approaches his boss, looking none too pleased.
"I already have another dud in my TV show so you better have something ready for me!" Mojo complains, pokes at him and spits at his assistant, who quietly wipes the drool of his face.
"Of course, sir" Domo replies and then shows him a capsule "We were able to bring our next recruit on time, it was fortunate that he plugged himself into the Spire so we were able to siphon him through just milliseconds before that virus affected him" he then shows a screen that says 'N1MR0D Program Download Complete', revealing that they were able to bring N1MR0D to the Mojoverse "And of course, thanks to our secret dealings with Otherworld, we were able to secure this" he then opens the capsule, revealing a white and purple, chromed Sentinel body, prompting Mojo to clap his hands in delight.
"Oh Domo, I've outdone myself! I'm quite the genius!" Mojo exclaims at the sight of their new recruit, who immediately lit its eyes as the signal of coming online.
"N1MROD Program Reactivated" the electronic voice of N1MR0D speaks, activating for the next encounter.
Alright folks, once again, thank you so much for the patience and the continuous support. It's been a heavy load, but I'm still delivering and I will keep on delivering folks, that's for sure.
Before we jump to the notes, I've seen the recent news of the upcoming restructuring of the X-Books with the whole "Destiny of X" thing (the "Inferno" miniseries has been… particularly interesting so far) so I hope that good things come for some of the books (so far, I'm only looking forward to the new creative team for Marauders). And before anyone asks, I'm not going to use the Inferno storyline yet, maybe much further ahead (due to the long delays I've been through with my stories).
Now, let's welcome to the newest member of the crew: Kitty Pryde from Earth-13729! This one comes from Brian Michael Bendis', Jason Aaron's and Brian Wood's crossover "Battle of the Atom" where that Earth's Brotherhood (Charles Xavier II, Molly Hayes, Beast, an Ice-Hulk, Deadpool, the "Adult Past Jean as Xorn" and Raze Darkholme posing as Kitty) arrived to force the Original 5 brought from the Past back to their timeline.
They fought not only the split X-Men teams, but also the real future X-Men (Ice Wizard, the adult Wiccan, Shogo as Sentinel-X, Quentin Quire wielding the Phoenix Force, a then still vampire Jubilee and Kymera, Storm and T'Challa's daughter). In that storyline, tat Earth's Kitty's fate was left sort of ambiguous so I decided that Raze attacked her to take her place to fool the X-Men and now, this Kitty (who will be referred to as Veteran Kitty) will be part of Kitty's crew.
Meanwhile, Mojo got another one on his own, the deadly N1MR0D, here a computer program in a Sentinel body, so now they'll have another deadly creature to deal with. And now, the next stop will be quite a different one. Here's a couple of hints: This one is inspired in a "What If?" of a popular Wolverine story, and this version of Kitty will take over from a popular authority figure. Stay tuned for that and more, folks!
