"So, what kind of game is this Nanako?" Yu inquired while it loaded. "I haven't played anything like this in a while."
Hearing that Nanako paused. "Um… it's a mystery game."
"A mystery, that could be fun." Yu smiled turning to the screen only to gasp as he saw a car driving through a fog that before the screen changed to show a blonde woman wearing blue and a man in a suit with an exceptionally long nose. "What?"
"Is something wrong?" Nanako asked turning to him.
"Those two… on the train ride here I had a dream, I was in that limousine with the two of them." Yu answered staring at the screen in shock. "But… that's impossible, isn't it?"
"Um… maybe you saw the game on TV?" Nanako suggested.
"Maybe, but it still feels weird." Yu admitted staring at the screen. "What's happening in the game is exactly what happened in my dream."
Hearing that Nanako looked down in thought. "Can I ask you something?"
"What is it Nanako?" Yu asked her. "Is everything ok?"
"Well…" she started hesitantly before turning to Yu. "Did… did you hear about somebody dying today?"
Yu's eyes widened in complete disbelief hearing that. "Na… Nanako? How do you know about that? Did your dad call you and tell you that's why he wouldn't be home on time?"
"I… knew it was going to happen." Nanako answered nervously. "The game… dad and I think it's somehow telling us the future."
"A game that… Nanako, where did you two get this game?" Yu asked her staring at the screen.
"I don't know, it came in the mail." Nanako answered only for Yu to frown. "Um… are you ok?"
"I think so." Yu nodded as he turned to the screen and continuing to go through Igor's introduction before reaching the part of the game where they input the player's name. "Nanako, do you mind if I use my name?"
"That's ok." Nanako answered as the two of them turned back to the game and continued playing.

"It's starting, isn't it Dojima-san?" Adachi asked him nervously. "Do you have any idea who it might have been that…"
"No, but I know for a fact it isn't you Adachi." Dojima replied before sighing. "She found the body, which means you need to talk with her about it."
Adachi flinched slightly at that before nodding. "I remember. Honestly this whole thing still feels crazy, and I know what's going to happen… I just wish we knew who killed her."
"I know what you mean, but we know that they'll keep everyone safe once they start going inside." Dojima replied before frowning. "After that happens…"
"Yeah… do you want to head back and spend some time with Nanako and your nephew? I should be able to handle things on my own here." Adachi offered.
Dojima closed his eyes in thought hearing that. "Alright, I have a feeling he'll have some questions about what's going on. Let me know if anything comes up."
"I will Dojima-san." Adachi nodded as Dojima grabbed his jacket and walked off.

Yu just looked nervous staring at himself on screen as the game portrayed the events of his arrival in Inaba even including his strange dream. "This… I don't think this is a game at all."
"Oh… do you want to stop?" Nanako asked him uncertainly.
Yu frowned at that as he stared at the screen as it displayed his arrival at Yasogami exactly as it happened earlier that day. "I don't think I should… this game, it's telling my life. That's what happened to me today."
"Does that mean somebody's following you?" Nanako asked only to look down thoughtfully. "Um… do you think Igor and Margaret are real people?"
The moment she said that Yu's eyes widened. "A game that came from… is that even possible?"
"Is what possible?" asked a male voice as the two of them turned to see Dojima walking in.
"Dad?" Nanako asked in shock. "You're home?"
"Yeah, Adachi's going to take care of things at the station and if something happens, he'll let me know about it." Dojima answered before looking at the screen. "Though something tells me I should be here with you two while we figure out what that is, I'm guessing you already told your cousin about what we figured out?"
"Yeah, about you thinking it might be a game that's telling the future." Yu nodded. "Plus, I think I know where it came from."
"I have a feeling we're thinking the same thing, the only question is why would they send this to us? The events in the game are like what's happening here in Inaba, but they're not identical." Dojima pointed out. "There must be another reason. For now though… why don't we play up to the part where you, Chie, and Yukiko learn about the body and then save for the night. We have a whole year to solve both mysteries after all."
Yu nodded hearing that as the three of them turned back to the screen.

"Do you think they'll be able to reach the truth completely this time?" Margaret inquired. "The guide will help but events are changing in ways he won't anticipate."
"Indeed, and the illusions she has placed over all of them remain as powerful as ever." Igor noted before chuckling. "Of course, we know the potential of our guests. I have no doubt that he will exceed our expectations yet again."
"That's true, from the moment they accepted our gift things started to change." Margaret admitted.
"The coming year will certainly be the most important one of them all." Igor mentioned with a small smile.
(Yu has started playing Persona 4 with Nanako and Dojima and come to the shocking realization that the game is showing events that are almost perfectly mirroring his own life starting from his arrival in Inaba. Next chapter Yu will spend more time with Yosuke and Chie and learn about an interesting rumor. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
