Johnny's POV

Johnny Zacchara slammed his hand down on the alarm clock beside his bed, he thanked God that he had moved away from Port Charles a year ago. Johnny had met some people that he loved being around in that place but, the bad outweighed the good. Johnny had finally managed to kick organized crime out of his life, Anthony had died shortly before he left town but..

Johnny didn't care enough to go to his funeral. Johnny was now a college professor in classical music, he truly loved his life.

"Who could that be?" Johnny wonders hearing his phone buzz, he picked it up from the night table and read the text message that popped up.

Lulu: Hey stranger.

Johnny glanced at it in surprise, he hadn't heard from Lulu in over a year. A slow smirk spread across his face as he hit reply.

Johnny: Hey yourself, it's been a minute. How are you doing?

Johnny still loves and cared for Lulu very much, it broke his heart that he couldn't see her every day. That's the only part about Port Charles he missed. Seeing Lulu made his life worth living. Hell, Johnny hadn't started living until he met Lulu Spencer. After everything had went down with them, he was surprised she wanted anything to do with him.

Lulu: I was thinking about coming to see you.

Johnny stared at the text message in disbelief before responding.

Johnny: I would love to see you Lu, you know that

Lulu: I need to get out of this fucked up place, I'm not even telling anyone I'm leaving. I'm just gonna go.

Johnny chuckled to himself, that response was so Lulu.

Johnny: what happened?

Lulu: I had a baby, Dante cheated on me with a cousin I didn't know about. I'm a divorced mom, I need help. I'm not trying to ask for a handout, it's just really hard doing this by myself. Dante and Valerie had a baby, he acts like he doesn't care about me and our child. I'm just done.

Johnny read her response in shock, Falconeri really left her high and dry? What had he become?

Johnny: Wow, that's really fucked up...you don't deserve that. With how Falconeri grew up, I wouldn't have ever thought he'd do something like this. I know you've gotta be sick of the fake sympathetic looks everyone's giving you. I'm in Las Vegas, I can send you money for a plane ticket. You and your child are welcome at my house. You deserve a break.

Johnny frowned, knowing that Lulu was struggling.

Lulu: My baby's only two months old Johnny, I don't understand. I'm going through postpartum depression and this shit isn't helping. I really appreciate this Johnny. Thank you! I hate those fake sympathetic looks like, it's not helping! I feel like I don't even have a place to rest my head. I've got enough money for a flight, I'll be headed your way soon. Thank you for this.

Johnny: you know I'd do anything for you, that's never changed. Let me know when you get in and I'll pick you up from the airport, do you have a boy or girl? Dante is missing out, trust me. Karma always comes back around. You don't have to thank me.

Lulu: So, what have you been up to? I have a baby girl.

Johnny: I'm a college professor now, classical music 101. I'm really glad that I'm not involved in the mob anymore, it was really holding me back. Oh, really? I bet she looks just like you.

Lulu: oh my gosh, I'm so proud of you! I know how hard it must have been to get out. I booked the flight for ten, so I should be landing around three thirty or so. I'll see you soon. Thank you, you always were quite the charmer.

Lulu's POV

I packed the little things I owned back at the hotel room, ever since Dante and I separated I'd been staying at the MetroCourt. I packed all of the baby clothes, basically everything I had brought with me. I looked into the playpen beside me, glancing lovingly at my two months old daughter.

"We're getting out of this town B, there's nothing left for us here. We'll be much happier somewhere new. You can trust me, mommy only wants the best for us." Lulu picked her daughter up, kissing her head. Lulu placed her daughter on the bed, putting pillows on either side of her so she wouldn't fall. Lulu packed up playpen. After she had all the bags packed, she scooped up her daughter and buckled her into her car seat...she left the air conditioning on and locked the car as she went to retrieve her bags. Once she had done that, Lulu unlocked the car and started driving. They went through the airport line where they checked her bags, and they boarded the plane almost thirty minutes later. Lulu buckled her daughter into the carseat, as the plane took off. Lulu glanced over and her daughter was sleeping soundly as the plane took off, her phone buzzed and she pulled it out of her pocket to check it.

Johnny: I'll be there at 3, have a good flight. I can't to meet your daughter! What's her name?

With a smile, Lulu typed out a response.

Lulu: I can't wait for you to meet her, I know she'll love you. You were always good with my nephews. Her name is Bridget. Bridget Maria.

Johnny: You flatter me, Lu. It pains me to say this but, I have to get to work. I'll see you two at three, I can't wait! That's a beautiful name.

Lulu: it's true, you're better than you think you are. Oh boo hoo, I'm just kidding. Have a good day Johnny, I'll see you this afternoon.

Lulu places her phone back in her pocket, letting her eyes shut as they flew through the air.

Johnny's POV

I smiled as I walked into the University Of Nevada where I worked, I nodded to a few of my coworkers before unlocking the door and stepping inside. Within minutes the room was filled with students, I didn't make connections with all of my students but there were a couple of my students I had a connection with.

"Hey Mr. Zacchara?" I heard come from the first row, after I'd given an open note quiz. Elizabeth "Lizzy" Connelly glanced up.

"Yes?" I asked, refraining from laughing.

"You should get a girlfriend, you're too good of a guy to be single!" She quipped, truly meaning it.

"Okay first of all, there's a test out. Secondly, thank you for your concern but...it's complicated." Johnny chuckled, Lizzy had pushed his buttons from day one...but, her heart was always in the right place.

"It's open notes, it's fine! Ooooooh, you have to tell me more!" Lizzy tapped her pink fur covered pen against the desk.

"Oh, are you the teacher now? I didn't get that memo. I will. Later. Right now, take your test." Johnny fought not to roll his eyes.

"Ugh, alright!" Lizzy mock huffed, before getting back to her test. With a chuckle, Johnny went back to his desk and checked his emails in the computer. Johnny reached into his pocket, checking his phone.

Lulu: I can't believe I'm finally going to get to see you, it's been four years!

Johnny smiled at her message as he accidentally made eye contact with Lizzy, who was smirking at him. The lecture ended after the tests were turned in, students filed out of the room. All but one.

"Sooooo?* Lizzy smirked, clasping her hands together.

"You have way too much time on your hands to worry about my personal life." Johnny shakes his head.

"Do you have a girlfriend or not?" She groaned.

"It's complicated! That's all your getting out of me, Miss Connelly." Johnny refused to tell any details of his personal life to a student of his.

"Oh, your no fun!" Lizzy laughed, she wasn't going to give up.

"Goodbye Lizzy." Johnny shut her down, as she hugged out of the room.

"Why do people like me? I'm an asshole." Johnny chuckles to himself, with a shake of his head.

Lulu's POV

The plane ride wasn't all that eventful, when we went to the baggage claim Johnny was already there.

"There you are!" I gasped out, nearly dropping Bridget's car seat at the sight of him.

"There you are!" Johnny echoed back with a smirk.

"Let me handle your bags, I'm not letting you carry these by yourself. Not when you have a baby to carry." Johnny takes her bags before she had a chance to carry them.

"You wouldn't let me carry them even if I didn't have a child." I pointed out.

"A lady should never have to carry her own bags. Not if there's a man around who can easily do it." Johnny shrugs, peeking at Bridget.

"She'll wake up soon, she's been napping on and off." I smiled as Johnny led me to the car, and he hooked up Bridget's car seat in ths backseat. Johnny and I slid into the front seat, and he began driving.
