(Before we get started here are two things to keep in mind, This au features Louie as a baby, and also as a genderbend other than that all the characters are mostly the same from their Ducktales depiction to my best ability. I hope you enjoy :D)
The Duck family had defeated Moonlanders, Fowl, Magica de Spell, and Glomgold. A fight that had lasted two years had finally come to an end with the final defeat of Bradford Buzzard. This battle led to the creation of Webby's sisters, May and June. The revelation of Scrooge's daughters, and return of Scrooge's villains. All of which vanished with Magica De Spell. The family had finally returned to the manor after their long weekend of intense battle and shocking revelations. Huey and Dewey had decided to walk into their room rather than plan an elaborate thing for them to do today.
The duo both flopped on their respective bunk. "What a day Dewey." Huey said exhausted from all the daring feats they had survived.
"Totally awesome we defeated Bradford…" Dewey replied, "maybe we can get our own docuseries one day." Huey and Dewey laughed at the thought even though Dewey really considered it since he wants to be a tv star one day. Then Dewey fiddled around his bed for a photo. The photo was of Dewey, Huey, and the third egg before the accident their mom had told them about. He knew they'd never met before, but it's a bittersweet memory for Dewey, the youngest of what was supposed to be triplets had been lost from a lightning strike during a timephoon.
"Still feeling down about our baby sister huh." Huey acknowledged his twin senses going off that something was bothering Dewey in the bunk below. It startled Dewey causing him to rise and hit his head on the bunk above. "Oops sorry didn't mean to startle you." Huey said, making sure Dewey was alright.
"I'm fine, it's just, why does someone always have to lose in our family. Especially Mom and Donald. They do so much good for us that it feels like the world is out to get them." Dewey said, slightly defeated.
It's not like the thought hadn't crossed his mind from time to time about how much we lost, but he also recognized something Dewey hadn't, "That may be true, however I will say a lot of the times the world sends us to the moon, or loses on some abandoned island. We always find a way to come back together. Maybe someday she'll come back to us." He said not believing that would happen, but possibilities are literally endless at this point who knows. "Besides we have a pool day tomorrow so go to bed." He said softly, punching his brother's shoulder.
"Night Huey," Dewey said, accepting that maybe it would be true one day. They would nod drifting off to sleep.
Later that night…
In the woods of Mcduck manor once thought lifeless gemstones of blue color had begun to surge as tonight the magic that had been stored during the timephoon 12 years ago had finally generated enough static electricity to be released from its makeshift prison. It shot out of the rock with all its power and it would rise hitting the ground below leaving a scorching mark. It left behind a mysterious egg.
The egg rolled down hill narrowly avoiding jagged rocks, and dangers as it would conveniently fall in a spot with enough heat to keep it warm during the night on the right side of McDuck manor perched over by the pool.
The Next Day…
The pool celebration was going off without a hitch. The boys were starting a game of marco polo. Webby, May, and June were looking around the Manor. Webby was pointing out notable details and things they should know until June cut her off. "So was that white stone always there or was that a mistake by the landscaper?" she asked after Webby mentioned that all the stones were some variation of black and gray.
"What do you mean?" Webby asked. June pointed at the "stone". May and Webby both looked at the stone. Webby, May, and June approached the stone. "It's not a stone… It's an egg?" Webby asked, confused, picking it up. She would examine it for a little while, noticing an ash mark on the egg.
"What could have caused such a marking on an egg like this?" May asked.
"I have no clue." Webby said, still holding the egg.
"Let's go ask Uncle Scrooge." June piped in and the girls took the egg to Uncle Scrooge who was in the manor. The boys watched the girls from the pool rush into the house with such a hurry, they got curious.
"Lena, Violet, do you want to come with us into the house we're going to check on Webby and her sisters." Dewey said. Violet and Lena decided to follow the boys indoors. They followed the sound of voices passing Beakley and Della. Then they passed Donald over to where Scrooge's office resided. They heard the sound of a glass breaking as they peered into the open room.
It was as if Scrooge had seen a ghost the color from his face making him pale. "Where did you find that?" his voice trembling as he asked.
"It was outside near the pool area." June said truthfully. While the four other kids hid in the doorway eavesdropping.
"Lasses, here's what I need from you. I need you to go get Donald and Della and what are you four doing behind there!" Scrooge yelled at the four eavesdroppers behind the doorway they fell out with and crashed to the floor. He sighed. "This day is going to be a long one. You seven…. Stay here Donald, Della, and I have to go to the hospital with the egg. Thats final, we shall be home shortly."
"Egg?!" Huey, Violet, Dewey, and Lena answered in unison with shock as the gang looked out the window as they saw Uncle Donald and Della chatting as they all went to the limo. They drove off to Duckburg Hospital.
Duckburg Hospital…
Hours later the three adventurers were sitting in a doctor's room waiting for results. Della sat next to Donald on the doctor bed with the egg in hand. They sat there in silence. It was an odd scenario to think about how it could be. No. This is just another egg with an ash mark in the exact same spot. She remembered it like it was yesterday: the panic, the confusion, the feeling of losing for the first time in her life. That's when she felt a hand on her shoulder looking up to see Donald giving her a reassuring smile. Scrooge got up and sat next to the two of them. Just as he was about to offer some encouragement the doctor walked in.
"Good morning McDuck family. My name is Doctor Amanda. I will be the one to break the results to you three today." explained Amanda she was a doberman lady dressed in usual doctor attire. "Luckily it's only good news. The egg is astonishingly alive and the duckling inside is going to grow up healthy. The other is you are the mother, Miss Duck."
The three of them stared at the egg. "A beautiful baby girl." Amanda continued trying to spark any response from the trio.
Della, Donald, and Scrooge Mcduck all knew exactly who this was. They all stared at each other shocked, confused, and happy. Tears of joy. "She has returned home." Della whispered. "My little rebel."
"Thank you Doctor Amanda for the results. Would you mind giving us sometime to discuss and make a few phone calls?" Scrooge said and Amanda would nod walking out of the room. "So I… uh… I. Who cares, she's home." Scrooge said as the three of them shed tears of joy. They all had a hug as the missing third triplet had been found, well I guess the little sister now as she is much younger then her brothers.
One Drive later…
That whole ordeal lasted four hours between waiting rooms and waiting on results from the doctor. The seven kids were in the living room discussing possible theories as to what the egg could be or where it's from. They were too hungry to know what it could be that they literally couldn't do anything else. They waited for the sound of the limo. Until they heard the limo pull up, and the sounds of doors opening and closing.
"They're here." Huey announced to the living room as Della opened the door to a room filled with the kids doing various time wasting activities and looked up at the trio. "Hey mom, how was the doctor? Did they find the egg family? Why are you crying?" Huey fired questions at Della. Dewey followed behind and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Dewey, Huey," Della said, taking a deep breath, "Meet your sister." Dewey immediately fainted.
