Lulu's POV

"Did you ever learn how to cook?" I asked him, it was a reasonable question. When we were together all that Johnny made was a peanut butter and Jelly sandwich, of course Johnny had always had maids which was understandable.

"I'm incredibly bad at it, maybe worse than you." Johnny admitted.

"Nobody's worse than me, Johnny. I can't even boil water." Lulu shot him a look.

"What I'm getting from this is I need to get a pizza." Johnny says, earning a laugh from Lulu.

"That would probably be best, unless you wanna burn the house down." Lulu chuckled, fixing her hair.

"I'm gonna go to the store, do you want to come? I know you've gotta be exhausted." Johnny glanced over her features, fatigue evident.

"I'll stay here, maybe next time. Would you mind grabbing some formula while your there?" Lulu smiled.

"Of course, I'll get you anything you want or need. That's what I'm here for." Lulu knew Johnny's heart was completely focused on her.

"Thank you, for everything. There aren't too many men out there who would do this for an ex-girlfriend." Lulu had jumped at the opportunity once Johnny had offered. Sometimes a woman just wanted to be taken care of.

"Lu, you don't have to thank me. You're much more than just a girl I dated, you're the only woman I've ever loved. If it weren't for you I would still be stuck at Crimson Pointe. I don't want to see you struggle, you're one of my best friends. Your not just an ex-girlfriend, you're Lulu.' Johnny still loved her, that much was true.

"If you make me cry right now, I am going to hurt you.' Lulu pointed a finget at him, feeling tears behind her eyelids.

'Do you want me to take Bridget with me? You do deserve a break. I'm just offering.' Johnny thought it would be good for Lulu to have time for herself.

"Time alone would be nice, thank you. Bridget shouldn't be a problem, she usually falls asleep during car rides. I will pack a bottle though, in case she gets hungry." Lulu handed Johnny a bag, a long with a fresh bottle.

"Does she eat baby food yet?" Johnny asked, taking the bag from Lulu.

"Not yet, no. Tomorrow I'm going to have to find a pediatrician." Lulu shakes her head.

'I know one, I can set you up with her." Johnny's friend Bethany was a pediatrician at the local doctors office.

"Oh, you do? That would be nice. I don't want to miss any appointments or stuff like that. I am absolutely horrible at keeping up with dates." Lulu sighed, relief washing over her face.

"I'll text her, it's not a problem." Johnny says, wanting her and Bridget to live their best lives. Lulu went upstairs to go get Bridget out of her playpen, she smiled up at Lulu.

"You're the happiest baby I've ever met, yes you are." Lulu happily coos as she went downstairs. Johnny expertly cradles Bridget in his arms, the scene made Lulu happy.

"Get some rest, let me know if you need anything." Johnny turned to say, as he reached the door.

"I will."

Johnny's POV

I made it out to the car to buckle Bridget into her seat, when I heard a burst of giggles from Bridget. I looked down at her as I buckled her in, she had the cutest smile.

"You're definitely Lulu's daughter." I chuckled as she stared at me, I set a baby blanket on top of her and propped her baby bottle up. Bridget put her tiny hands on either side of the bottle. I shut the door and began my drive to the store, luckily I found a parking spot in the front so I didn't have to circle around the parking lot. I unbuckled Bridget and carried inside, I wiped down the cart with a baby seat before placing Bridget in it.

"If I remember correctly, your mommy loves sweet tea." I smirked, turning down the aisle.

Lulu's POV

As soon as Johnny and Bridget left, I heard a knock on the door. I opened it to see Chloe, who was obviously expecting Johnny.

"I'm going to have to get used to you opening the door. I'm glad Johnny finally had a woman in this house, he really seems to think a lot of you." Chloe blurted out.

"You just missed him, Johnny went to the store with Bridget. I wasn't expecting him to offer to take her. Johnny is... Much different from my ex-husband. It almost feels weird that I'm getting help with Bridget, it's nice to have an actual man. I knew Johnny before I ever met Dante. Hell, I was Johnny's girlfriend. It's...nice." Lulu would have to get used to having help. Lulu steps aside so Chloe can come inside, she shuts the door behind her.

"Johnny can be really sweet sometimes, well most of the time. I met Johnny when I was eighteen, I was a wreck. I had just come from an abusive household, I barely had anything. My grandma is the only reason I have that house, because it was left to me. My grandma was the only one who ever cared... Johnny's the older brother I never got. Johnny would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I have so much respect and love for Johnny, I know he loves you." Chloe didn't often open up but, she had a feeling she could trust Lulu.

"Johnny is probably better than I deserve, I'm so thankful that I texted him. I was staying in a hotel barely scraping by, I knew that something had to change. I couldn't do this to my baby, I needed better for Bridget. That must have been awful, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I love Johnny too, like I said...he's more than I deserve."

Johnny's POV

I put the last of the groceries onto the counter, waiting for the cashier to ring us up.

"You could only be buying this much sweet tea for my dear sister." Johnny heard a familiar Australian accent come from behind him, he slowly turned around.

"Lovett??" I gasped in surprise, what was he doing here?

"I got a call from Olivia- man, her bitchiness has not subsided in four fuckin'years. Is that my niece?" Ethan smiled at the baby.

"I don't even wanna know. Yeah, your sister's at my house. I'm sure she'd love to see you. This is Bridget, your niece." Johnny was happy to see his best friend.

"You do not. I'm glad that my sister is somewhere safe, I never trusted Dante. I have to confess, I sinned. Bridget looks just like Lulu." Ethan glances at the baby, before looking back at Johnny.

"Tell me! If it's something to do with Falconeri, I'd love to hear it. You know I won't let any harm come to your sister, even though I'm out of the business nobody's gonna cause any trouble with me. She really does. Doesn't she?" Johnny smirked, as he slid his card into the machine, paying for his things.

"Oh, I flew home just to beat his ass. I hitched a ride here because I knew this is where she'd be." Ethan helped Johnny with the bags.

"Ride with me. What's the harm in staying a little while?" Johnny asked him.

"Jokes on you mate, I just bought a house here!" Ethan held a smirk as they got into the car.

Dante's POV

"I can't believe she just left. Ma! Why wouldn't you tell me?* I scoffed at my mother.

"Dante, you had your chance. Do you think I wanted to see Lulu go to Johnny? No, Lulu's the daughter I never had! You chose your life with Valerie and Ronald, over the life you already had with Lulu and Bridget. You divorced Lulu, you didn't even give your daughter the time of day. They both deserve better than you, you have no idea how mad I am at you. You let that woman slip through your fingers! Nobody likes side pieces, Dante Angelo." Olivia laid it all out there, it wasn't in her nature not to be blunt.

"Ma." Dante said, hoping she would say she was sorry.

"I've said my peace, I need to go. Come on Leo, we're leaving."
