Welcome back to another Chapter of Paldean Memories…. (My One Shot Collection Fic alongside my Pokemon/Mermaid Transformation One Shot: Metamorphosis) as well
Yeah, For those whom came form Metamorphosis…. You're probably aware of how about my Take on Geeta…
And how I made her a villain as well. (Yeah, I'm on a Little Mermaid Craze a while back and I made Geeta into a Cecaelia/Octomaid because why not?)
Well Fear not, I actually have an Idea what to do with her at least… And I'll explain more in the AN down below as well….
(Also, This Story takes place before Juliana fought the League but after she helped Team Star and Fought Arven (AKA Both Starfall Street and Path of Legends have been Completed at this point but not Victory Road)
Likewise, Big Thanks to La Biblioteca de Inu for some help with some elements in this Chapter as well! ;)

Story 4: The Top Champion's True Self

Symposis: Sometimes there's more to people that meets the eye, And for most people, Geeta is often many things: La Prima, Top Champion, Chairwoman, Questionable Trainer, Worst Boss of the Year (Especially to People like Larry) are just what many people associated her with…
But what many don't know is that she's not human but rather a Cecaelia, And right now, She has her eyes on a target that would ensure her Rule over Paldea goes unchallenged….
Characters: Geeta, Rika, Carmine, Kieran
Rating: T+ (Abusive Family and Deaths)
Continuity: After Metamorphosis Chapter 2 (Hidden Fins) but before 'The Way Home' Storyline (As well as before Juliana Challenged the League) and Metamorphosis Story Chapter 10(Childhood of a Mermaid) and Chapter 4 (Scarlet Scales, Crimson Love)/Paldean Memories Story 1 (Founded Family)

World of Pokemon, Paldea Region, North Paldean Sea, Geeta's Cavern:
The Top Champion of Paldea was certainly a Number of things, La Prima, A Questionable Boss (Especially to that Poor Unfortunate Soul named Larry), A Woman with irregular decisions and an unusual Team that doesn't seem very Champion like…
But what no one knows is that Geeta Ranto isn't Human but rather a Cecaelia, A Creature that is considered the cross between Human and Pokemon,
Geeta has to admit, She prefers being in her Cecaelia Form, She felt more powerful and strong in her Natural form then her Façade as a Human, Especially with her natural Toxins and Posions in her Body to seduce her foes as well, Especially with how being part Pokemon helps as well.
'Well, That was certainly a Worthwhile day at least….' Geeta thought to herself as the Malamar Cecaelia (With her Tentacles being Black instead of the usual Purple Malamars are associated with) swam around her cave as she looked into the Tera Crystal inside it, No doubt using it observing the Region she's the Top Champion of as well, No doubt observing her target if she desires as long as she injected her Toxins into them…
It's one of the advantages a Cecaelia has over a Mermaid with also not having to worry about risking exposing yourself by accident like those wretched Mermaids… A Pity Rika can't be the same however….
Rika Nadar was not only her Closest (If only) Friend but also her Right Hand Woman/Mermaid as well.
Despite the Merfolk and Cecaelia being bitter rivals (Especially with one of her Gym Leaders Tulip and especially that wretched Kalos Champion Diantha being Mermaids as well), With no doubt both of them knowing if she ratted them out for not being Human, They'll do the same and exposed her Cecaelia nature as well… And this must not shake her Rule over Paldea as well.)
It all started when Geeta Rescued her form an attack by Sharpedos when she was just exiled form her Tribe.. Taking her in as Gratitude for saving her as well.

Several Years Ago, North Paldean Seas:
'Well, I suppose this should be enough for the Da-' Geeta as she swam in her territory, No doubt save for foolish Trainers coming to seek Pokemon, No One ventures into the Deeps of the Seas of Paldea with her Eelktross (One of her Many Servants under the Sea)…. Especially compared to the Hoenn and Unova regions that is….
However, Geeta soon heard a sound as she and her Eelektross swam to where it was heard to see a Longhaired Green Mermaid with a Veluza Dorsal Fin being attacked by Sharpedos, Her scales and body covered in Scars and bites form the Sharpedos as well as her two Pokemon Siblings (A Whiscash and Clodsire) Defending her as well.
While Geeta could have ignored this and move on with her life, A Possible ally was forming in her Mind as she did, despite their Species being enemies like Seviper and Zangoose, Some worth can be claimed by saving this Mermaid for her own gain.
'Well, I suppose it won't hurt at least…' Geeta thought to herself as she smirked back as she fired a Dark Pulse form her hands onto the Sharpedos whom turned towards her with a Glare in their eyes…
"Tch, you fools have made a Mistake…." She sneered as the Sharpedos soon looked in fear at this (A Sharp turn form the Glare they had before), No doubt knowing they made a Mistake and are about to pay for it
Geeta then quickly fired another Dark Pulse at the Sharpedos, Quickly damaging them despite them resisting the Dark Pulse attack…
Sh then grabbed the Two Sharpedos, The two of them struggling to escape her Tentacles as she smirked back at this.
"Farewell…."
Geeta then used a Thunderbolt attack to the two wrapped Sharpedeos, Quickly killing them with her Attacks as she held on until their body is numb and their hearts stopped beating before dropping them once it's clear they're dead.
"Eelktross… Let's return back to my Cave, I'll treat her Wounds there….and Take those Slained Sharpedos as well, They'll be good food for me, Carmine and Kieran as well" She said as she grabbed the Green haired mermaid while her Servant did the same as well.
Geeta then looked back to the Clodsire and Whiscash as she smirked back to them as they glared towards the Cecaelia as she smirked back to them.
"Follow me dears….I'll take your Sister and nurse her back to good health…" She answered back as she took the Green haired Mermaid back to her Lair as her Pokemon Siblings soon followed as well with Eelektross carrying the Two Slained Sharpedos back to be used as Food for her and her Children.

While it was at the Time to get an Ally to her side, Geeta admitted she does feel a connection with Rika at least, The Paldean Mermaid even admit that the Cecaelia was a Friend to her as well.
The two of them were even able to eventually climb the ranks of the Paldea Pokemon League with Geeta even disposing the Original Top Champion as well.
They're also managed to keep their Identities of being a Mermaid/Cecaelia a Secret even with Rika's Former Childhood Friend Tulip being a Gym Leader as well (Knowing how if either of them ratted the other out, They'll do the same back to her as well)
Especially with the Young Prodigy Child Poppy does end up being close to her as well (Being shown to be a gifted talent for battles that could rival even adults) with her being like a Daughter for Rika as well whom so far was lucky to not pick up their irregular traits as well (Rika not swimming to avoid exposing her Mermaid Nature which Poppy just assumed she refused to keep her Ground Types lonely whenever they're on the beach as well)
While she was currently thinking about Rika, Her Eelektross soon swam up to her as it spoke back to her.
"Ah Eeleketross…. I see you have something in mind dear…." Said Geeta as she glanced towards one of her True Members of her Team as the latter pointed to two of her own Children (Eeletriks to be exact) dragging Geeta's Children with them.
Two Younger Cecaelias with Blue (The Girl) and White Malamar like skins (The Boy) with similar Blue Hair with Red and Yellow Markings were presented before Geeta as she smirked before them.
These are Carmine and Kiera, Geeta's Children….
"So Carmine, Kieran… I take you two have been trying to escape form your duties I see…" Geeta said back to her Children as neither of them wanted to look at her in the eye as she swam up to them. "I See you two have been slacking on your infration on the Blueberry Academy as well I see…"
"Mother… I Can explain…" Plead Carmine as both she and her Brother looked back to their Mother as she approached them with fear as Carmine held her tentacles in defense. "We have managed to retrieve some notes about the Devine Tempest there… Bu-"
"So… you think you can go behind your dear mother's back don't you…." Geeta said to her two Cecaelia offsprings. "Trying to escape form being a Cecaelia as well…"
She then wrapped her Tentacles around Carmine and Kieran as the Younger Cecaelias were unable to react back before this as she looked back to them with a Malicious smile on her face.
"I See being injected isn't enough… I'll need to enforce further displine onto you two as well.."" She said as her Tentacles began to spark electricity, Ready to give punishment to Carmine and Kieran for disobeying orders as well.
However, A Glow was soon present on the Tera Crystal just before Geeta could electrocute her Children as she quickly dropped them, Quickly flashing her eyes at them as two Compass Marks on their Necks glowed as they fell to the Ground to keep them form escaping right now.
Geeta soon looked into her Crystal to find a Brunette haired Girl with a Quaquaval, Shiny Tastugiri and what appears to An Ancient Red Cylizar by her side, A Dark Smirk appearing on the Cecaelia's face as she did as no doubt this was no ordinary girl but a Palafin Mermaid and the Naranja Academy's Newest student form the Hoenn Region, Juliana...
Geeta knew Juliana was a Mermaid the moment they meet back in the Academy (No doubt Older Merfolk and Cecaelias can sense if another was either species) but her being a Palafin Mermaid could mean her plans to keep her Rule over Paldea Permanent is now possible due to the Legends about the Devine Tempest (A Trident wielded by the Hero of Hisui that is rumored to Rival Arceus Himself and located somewhere in Paldea.) and how a Key Component is that the Trident can only be pulled by someone it considers Worthy...
Palafin Mermaids are Rare compared to back in the Day, with Juliana and her Mother likely being considered Worthy for it as well... And once Geeta gets her hands on them, Her Rule over Paldea would be unchallenged with the Power of a Weapon on level of Arceus itself.
'So Little Juliana finally got all eight badges… Prefect, I'll be a good time to test if she's strong enough to survive where the Devine Tempest is located as well…' Geeta thought to herself as she looked towards Carmine and Kieran whom she forced to look at her via her Magic.
"I have important business to attend to my Dears… I'll see you soon…." Said Geeta as she left as she ventured towards the Surface, Leaving her Two Children still in Pain as her Eelektross looked back at them,
No doubt not only return to her Duties as Top Champion….
But to continue observing Juliana and see if she's if she's worthy enough to pull the Devine Tempest…
And sure Paldea remains under her rule… Especially if the Young Mermaid form Hoenn is indeed worthy to pull the Devine Tempest out as well.

Author's Note:
Yeah, With how Much I vented about Chairman Rose, Team Yell and Marnie (And to a lesser extent Bede), I'm actually surprised how I somehow don't hate Geeta as much as others do…. (Heck, Leon actually a Better Champion then her, So Rare Point of Victory for Galar at least… Paldea Still wins in other categorys in characters however at least)
But Compared to Rose, I felt like I can actually fix her Character by making her into a Villain (AN ACTUAL VILLAIN to be exact) and I know I sort of tried to fix SwSh's Story with my Galarian Awakening Fic (But then I lost interest in it and then it basically became back burner material as well)
Heck, I say Geeta's looks more like a Villain then Rose does as well…. So I figured why not? I can use some interesting ideas for it at least….

That said, I Do hope I did Geeta Justice in this Chapter at least…. (Even if it's her being a Villain however)
This is basically a Semi Origin Story for how Geeta and Rika Meet (The Former saving the latter after She was exiled form the Paldea Merfolk Tribe) and a Sort of Dynamics with how Geeta works as a Villain in my Fics as well:
(Also before you ask, No, I'm not using Dexit for my Fics so some Pokemon that didn't appear
As you can see, Geeta's Pesonality in my Stories basically a Fusion of Ursula (General Idea and the Former being a Cecaelia), Maleficent (Personality and HA Voice Actress for Geeta for this Fic) and Mother Gothel (How she treats Carmine and Kieran again, to differentiate them form Lillie and Gladion as well.)
Ok, I know it may not be fixing Geeta per say (Basically splicing the Various Disney Villains mentioned above into her) but rest assured, I'm actually planning on doing something with her unlike Rose at least…
Likewise, Geeta's little mentioning of Diantha (And the Latter being the Princess of the Kalos Merfolk Tribe) is basically extra stuff for Geeta as well, Which would be planned for another Chapter of either Metamorphosis or Paldean Memories as well exploring other Merfolk in my Stories as well.

And Yeah, Carmine and Kieran aren't mentioned to be Geeta's Children (Yet) so far but even if they're not related to her, I'm still doing this since well, I already have the Idea so I'm sticking to my guns for it at least (But I'll be using whatever (AKA their Pokemon) the DLC has as well like with them/Terapagos)
Also you saw some snippits of what is Considered Geeta's TRUE TEAM in my Mermaid!Juliana Fics (Her Canon Team for my Fics is basically a Fake Team she uses to hide her true Nature as a Cecaelia with only her Veluza, Kingambit and Glimmora being shared between them, Rika being the Same as well with her Wiscash and Clodsire being shared between her Teams) as well her Army of Eelekrtikes (The Children of her Eelketross) basically being her answer for Grunts since Merfolk and Cecaelias are Part Pokemon in my Stories)
Also Geeta and Rika's Last Names are Ranto (Japanese form Storm/Tempest) and Nadar (Spanish for Swimming)
I didn't want to make Geeta a Blatant Card Carrying Villain so I used Ranto to tie into her Cecaelia Natue, Same with Nadar for Rika since she's a Mermaid as well.

Nothing Else to really say but stay Tune for my Next Chapter and focusing on Juliana as well as some Mermaid Lore about her (and some Nate/Rosa as well) as well! ;)
Similarly, I got another Geeta Story planned as well (Metamorphosis to be exact and a Squeal to Paradox Problems as well) so stay tune for that….
(Also, For anyone curious about my Opinion on the New Pokemon Presents, I'll share them in my Next Chapter at least… So stay tune for that! DLC is petty Good at least!)
