Our heroes enter a room as the notice few familiar faces.

"Mr Stark?" Peter asked as Tony shook his head.

"Yup! I'm here!" Tony said as Billy nodded.

"Dr Banner, Mrs Walters you too?" Kim asked as the cousins nodded.

"Whoever did this is gonna pay bub! That's a promise!" Logan said as Peter looked around.

"Just about everyone we know is here!" Trini said.

"Well, Well, Well!" A familiar voice said as Dr Robotnik walked up to the heroes as Sonic gets into fighting stance.

"You AGAIN?" Sonic says as Robotnik put his hands up.

"Easy there pal! I'm not here to fight! And even If I wanted to, I can't due to this stupid collar" Robotnik said as he pulls down his coat collar. "And before any of you fellow geniuses even ask!"

He looked to Billy and Peter when he said that.

"Yes of course I tried to deactivate and short circuit it! But this beautiful, oh so beautiful technology is beyond even my comprehension at the moment. So until then? I'll be nice."

"Then...why are you here?" Kim asked.

"Same as you! It seems I was deemed worthy to be a participant, but I didn't come alone... you'll have to wait for the first match and see what I'm talking about! Haha!" Robotnik says as Trini gives him a deathstare.

"That was weird?" Yelena said as Naruto nodded.

"Trust me, that's mellow for him." Sonic noted.

"So...does anyone know what the rules are?" Peter asked as Thor stands up.

"Simple, we duel til someone loses! I've been in this arena before!" Thor says as he grabs Stormbreaker.

"So what do we do?" Billy asks.

"Play his game for right now and once we get these damn things off, kick his a**!" Jason says as everyone nodded.

"That's the best play we could have right now!" Steve said as he grabbed his shield.

"Cap! Ok, now I think we're in good hands!" Tommy says as the gate opens as Maki, Steve and Sonic enter the arena.

"Follow my lead" Steve says as the opposing gate opens and Grandmaster hovers in on a hovercraft.

"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the first annual Contest of Champions! In this contest, teams of three will enter the arena as beings from other universes battle for the right to be called a champion! And in addition, save their planet! The rules are simple! If all three members are incapacitated or unable to fight. The opposing team wins! The winners will decide the fate of their world at the end of it all! So...on this corner we have, Sonic The Hedgehog! Stars and Stripes and...an Eternal!" Grandmaster says as Maki nodded.

"And on the opposing field, we have, Dr Eggman!-" The Grandmaster introduced

"That's Robotnik to you!" Dr Robotnik shouts as Grandmaster pressed the shock button. "D'OOOOOOOW! OKAY! OKAY! You win! Fine, Eggman it is!"

As the mad scienjtist goit back on his feet, a creature that looked like Sonic marched forward: It was red and had spiked gloves with dreadlocks and a tail.

"Kind of looks like an Ecinda." Zack mused.

"As I was saying, Dr, Eggman, Knuckles the Echidna, and...KLINGO!" Grandmaster announced as Maki stares in shock as Klingo's eyes are red colored.

"Maki? You look like you saw a ghost!" Sonic says as Maki has a year in her eye.

"Ready! Set! Go!" Grandmaster says as Knuckles charged at Sonic who narrowly dodges.

Klingo charges up a sphere of energy at his fingertip as Maki sped around him as Steve threw a shield at a small drone that Robotnik had thrown out!

*Klingo! It's me Maki! Don't you remember?* Makkari asked in sign language in which Klingo stared coldly.

"I do not know who you are!" Klingo coldy said as Maki took an energy blast as Sonic incapacitated Knuckles only to get Maki up.

"You ok?" Sonic asked as Maki stared a Klingo.

"I take it, you know him?" Sonic asked as Maki gestured with ASL.

*You know those friends I mentioned earlier?* Maki asked as she pointed to Klingo.

"He's one of your friends? He just shot you!" Sonic said as Knuckles snuck behind nd charged at him as Steve threw his shield at Knuckles.

"Thanks for the save Cap!" Sonic said as Maki and Sonic smiled.

"Sonic and Maki ran together in opposite directions as Klingo is blinded as Maki punched him in the air as Sonic spin dashed into his chest as he blasted Steve's shield away from Robotnik.

*Klingo! You have to remember me! We're friends!* Maki said with ASL as she begins shedding tears.

"I have no friends! I only exist to serve Arishem!" Klingo said as he blasted Sonic.

"Ok! That's it! Trying to take my power is one thing, but I'm not gonna let you hurt my friends!" Sonic said as blue lightning charged him as he spin dashed towards Klingo only for Knuckles to grab him to the shock of everyone in the arena.

Gasps are heard from the heroes watching.

"Do we look like we need your power?" Knuckles said as red lightning charges his fist as he punches Sonic into a wall!

"Sonic!" Steve said as an angered Maki sped around the arena as she shot some of the bullets towards the direction of Robotnik's drones, flicks Knuckles which causes a pushback effect and punches Klingo multiple times in the chest and head as she stops as The drones exploded, Knuckles was pushed back into a wall and the damage to Klingo is delivered and is flung onto the ground.
