A handful of months later Ace shows up to A Charitable Earth dressed in a form fitting red dress, when she shows up she finds Nyssa paying the string quartet. She turns around, "how long have you known?"

"A couple of weeks."

"You are ok with it?"

"I am ready to tell Graham I love him without interruptions. It seems if I don't chicken out or it's right after sex; we are being interrupted. We have been dating for a little over 2 months."

"We don't have it fully set up."

"That's fine, I will help out." Ace starts heading to her office.

"Ace," Nyssa stops her.

"You look absolutely stunning."

"Thanks." Ace walks on and enters her office to see Tegan and Yaz setting the table with a light brown tablecloth and two tall candles in the middle. Yaz looks up.

"Are you mad?"

"Of course not," she walks up to Yaz; who notices that Ace is wearing slight makeup including a different shade of lipstick.

"You knew about this?"

Tegan stands up, "she forced it out of me."

"You showed up early."

"I know," Ace says in her mind 'I can't tell them how nervous I am.'

Tegan looks intently at her friend and can tell something is off. "Hey Yaz, can you give us a minute."

"But."

"We can continue on it." Yaz leaves the two.

"You're nervous."

"This is the first time I have been saying those three words."

"I can assure you Graham feels the same."

"You already said that."

"It's true."

"Why am I nervous," they set the table.

"Because how much you love him." Ace walks to a drawer and takes a picture out. "What's that?" Ace shows Tegan the picture of her and Graham looking at each other with large smiles on their faces. "Who took this?"

"I did."

"You took a selfie?"

"It seemed a perfect time to do just that."

"Why did you have it put away?"

"I didn't want everyone to see it," Ace walks over to her desk and puts the photo down in the area she had cleared for it.

"I was wondering why you had nothing right there. How often do you have it out?"

"Majority of the time."

"Well Ace, the only thing we have to do now is leave and call Graham."

"Ohh, ok," Ace runs her hands along her dress, "just try not to worry him too much."

"We have to have some fun."

"Please be careful."

"Ace telling people to be careful."

"I don't want him to get into an accident." Ace walks over to the view overlooking London mind going to the night after Graham gets here. Next thing she knows the door opens.

"Ace is everything ok? You never work on a Saturday. I should've known," Ace turns around as Graham brings her into a hug, "when Nyssa said we couldn't work on the project today." He feels the fabric of the dress. "What is going on?"

"It seems our families wanted us to have a nice romantic dinner. Tegan accidentally let it slip."

Graham steps back to see the dress that he feels between his fingers and takes in Ace's appearance, "you look absolutely stunning."

"Thank you," Ace steps closer to Graham again and she gives him a light kiss. "Please tell me they didn't worry you too much. I told Tegan not to make it too bad."

"That something was happening here, and that neither her nor Nyssa could calm you down. My mind may have thought of the worst case sanrio possible."

"Why?"

"I don't know." Ace grabs his hand and they walk to the table as Graham notices the string quartet starts up. "What?"

"They went all out." Ace lights the candles and Graham lifts up the cloche concealing the food. "They picked some great food.''

"They did, do you know why they wanted us to have this special dinner?"

Ace looks up at him and grabs his hand as she sits down. "I do, let's eat first."

"Is it a good reason?"

With eyes shining bright making them dance in the low light, "I do."

"Your eyes are dancing, they are even more encompassing in this light." The strung quartet look at each other and change to an orchestra version of 'Dancing in the Moonlight.' Ace and Graham share a smile and start to eat. "How was your day?"

"It was good, it took me a bit to wake up. If I am honest with myself and you, I sleep better in your arms."

"I know how it feels. There are times when we are not in the same bed. I turn and find myself to be alone in the bed, it's not fun." After the quartet finishes 'Dancing in the Moonlight,' they start playing 'My Heart Will Go On." Graham looks at Ace, and Ace looks at Graham.

"Graham, can I tell you something that I have been trying to tell you for a while now?"

Graham puts down his fork and reaches across the table for Ace's hand, she places her hand in his. "You can tell me anything," he tells her with a small smile.

Quietly, "I love you."

"I didn't hear that honey, I can assure you, there is no way I am not going to like what you are going to say."

"Graham, I love you."

She looks down at their hands, Graham lifts them both up to lift up her chin, "I love you too Ace."

"You do?"

"Of course I do Ace." He drags them both up and with his free hand brings her face to his as he kisses her; both eyes close the candles continue to dance and the music lightly swells and as I deal with those paying swells and changes to 'At Last.' As the kiss slowly comes to an end Ace and Graham start to slowly sway to the music. "I love you Dorothy, Ace."

"I love you too Graham," Ace is happy that is also said her given name. She lays her head on his shoulder as they continue to dance. They don't even notice when the string quartet stops playing, only notice the change when the candles die out. "Graham?"

"Yes?"

"I think we are alone."

Brushing some hair out of her face, "being alone with you is special." Ace smiles at him. They finish their date and make it on the way to Ace's house. When they get to her place they head upstairs. "I love you, Ace." Graham says as his lips go to her neck.

"I love you too, Graham," Ace lifts up Graham's head and kisses him hungrily.
