Sienna found herself walking lightly into the grand entrance hall of the palace, in which she'd been staying, since washing up on the beach, after what had happened with her and Seiya, the night Vander Scar's henchmen had located them. In that moment, she understood why he'd done what he'd done, Seiya, he'd been trying to protect her, what else could he have done aside from jump from that balcony in the grand graden? However, a part of her couldn't stop from worrying about what had become of him. The merman/human prince who owned the palace she was currently in, had promised her he'd tried to locate her protector, however what would he come back with? Sienna couldn't stop herself from worrying the pegasus knight was dead. She prayed everything was okay. The marble floors shone a soft sheen, and the tall pillars were intricately carved with images of sea creatures and vines along their surface. The sunlight that poured in through the windows made the hall look even more magnificent, and Sienna elt a thrill run through her body. For years she hadn't seen anything except the four walls of her father's mansion, where she'd been forced to stay, basically a prisoner inside, because of some complications with her powers. Complications if she didn't have to, she wouldn't disclose. She found herself wandering around the entrance hall, admiring the huge tapestries that hung on the walls. They were so large that she could barely see the tops of them, their colors were so vibrant that she felt like she could jump inside them and begin swimming in the blue.
Sienna found herself moving on to the throne room next, she'd been told she could go exploring where ever she wanted, as long as she didn't leave the palace until the prince returned with Seiya. So as she walked on inside, the instantly found the walls were covered in gold and precious stones, the throne itself was more magnificent than she could have ever imagined. With its sparkling diamonds and glittering rubies, it was a sight to behold. One she found her eyes never moving away from. All until she found new sights to gaze upon. Continuing on through the palace, she found herself exploring every room, from the grand ballroom to the royal kitchens. All of which she'd never seen till now. Each sight becoming more amazing to her, as her curiosity began to get the better of her. Of all the rooms in the palace, her favorite seemed to be the library. it was so much bigger than her library back at the mansion and the walls were lined with shelves upon shelves of so many unread books, the scent of old pages filing the air, Sienna loved reading, and she knew that this room would become her haven. At least for right now while she was there, it would be. Sienna had previously only ever seen her own room, the gardens, and the library back home, but now that she was allowed to roam free, she couldn't wait to see everything that had once been off limits to her.
As Sienna ventured deeper into the unknown hallway, she stumbled upon an expected sight - a hidden room. The discovery was surreal, almost as if she was in a dream. Her heart began to pound with excitement, but before she could explore any further, a mystifying voice echoed through the empty, and massive hallway, traveling on the walls, calling out her name. ''Sienna?'' Startled and insure, she turned around to face the source of the voice, and there stood Princess Amara. She was the younger sister of the prince. How her stunningly bright red hair, radiated different hues when basted in sunlight. Her long, silky tendrils gently caressed against her back, accompanying her delicate porcelain skin, emphasizing the refinement of her features and the elegance of her beauty. The princes's captivating aura and striking appearance captivated Sienna, drawing her into a trance-like state. The way her hair contrasted with such delicate features was breathtaking, making Sienna feel as if she in the presence of a celestial being. Though she was supposed to be the reincarnation of the warrior goddess Athena, Princess Amara looked more the part then she did. With her white pants and tank top, and the way her chestnut hair seemed to have lost its shine after swimming in the salty sea for so many hours. ''How are you liking the palace?'' Amara asked. sweetly. ''I'm really enjoying myself,'' she shot back. ''I've never seen so many beautiful things. You see, I never got many opportunities to explore back where I come from.'' she was whispering now, voice sad. She never knew there could be so much beauty in the world.
''Well I'm glad to see you are enjoying yourself. I'd hate for you to be unhappy while your visiting here.'' Amara said. ''It shouldn't be to much longer now, my brother should be back with your friend anytime now.'' At the mention of Seiya, Sienna's expression softened. ''Yeah, I really hope your right, princess.''Amara seemed to have picked up on Sienna's sadness because Sienna gasped as Amara ran over to her, the soft sounds of her heels clacking against the ground, only to have her arm loop over Sienna's, scooping Sienna up in her grasp, as a giant smile planted on her face. ''I want to show you something!'' she said happily, as she lead Sienna down the hall.
''These are my chambers,'' Amara said as she walked Sienna inside. Stepping into the room, Sienna was instantly surrounded by the sweet scent of lavender and rose petals that floated in the air just above her nose. The room was decorated in soft pastel colors, with a beautiful golden chandelier hanging from the ceiling above her head. The four - poster bed in the middle of the room was draped with delicate, silky, soft, canopy sheets that cascaded down to the floor, the fluffy pillows promising a comfortable night's sleep. Her eyes found the sight of the dresser in the corner, where the contents of a crystal mirror reflected her image back at her. Staring into her own reflection, light blue eyes staring back at her. She then found a table adorned with shimmering jewels, perfumes, and various makeup essentials on the right side of the room, waiting for when Princess Amara would come over to use them. Against the walls, along the furthest walls, stood two tall bookshelves. Which were filled to the brim with books. The whole room exuded elegance, and sophistication, each a reflection of Princess Amara herself. A room like this would make anyone feel like a true princess. Surrounded by the splendor fit for a royal. ''I've never seen such a room!'' she shouted, such a widen smile on her face. She couldn't seem to stop herself from smiling, her cheeks shifting with discomfort, though she couldn't seem to mask her happiness.
''i just got an amazing idea!'' Amara said happily. Sienna looked wary, but she chose to remain silent, waiting to hear what the princess had to say next. ''As a princess, I believe every woman deserves to look their best. So at this very moment, i have decided we should give you a makeover, Sienna. ''But i-you shouldn't have to use your products on me, really I like the way I look right now.'' she replied, though it didn't look like she was convincing her of anything, because the next thing she knew, Amara was brushing out her hair. Only to rebrush it, and redo it up into a decorated bun with fresh flowers. It was clear to Sienna that princess Amara was well known for her impeccable sense of style, judging by the way she dressed, and kept her hair so beautiful, so she had full trust in Amara that she would come out just as beautiful. After styling her hair, Amara cleaned and exfoliated Sienna's face, revealing a fresh, new, glowing complexion, that Sienna felt absolutely refreshing from. Next, she applied a light, dewy foundation and a subtle hint of blush to accentuate her cheekbones. Amara then gave Sienna s soft, smoky eye look using neutral shades that made her blue eyes pop. She then finished the look with a swipe of mascara and a natural, pink, glossy lip gloss. Now it was time to pick out her outfit.
''Ohhh hold on! I have just the thing!'' What Amara pulled out, made Sienna's face light up. Making her feel instantly like a princess. The sickly blue dress she wore, demanded attention from anyone who laid their eyes on it. The color of the dress, a pale, ghostly, blue that appeared almost, sicily, adding to its eerie charm. How the white sparkles throughout the dress create a dazzling contrast, like starts in the night sky. The dress is adorned with delicate white lace detailing, adding a touch of elegance to its haunting appearance. As the light catches the dress, the sparkles shimmer and dance, adding an otherworldly allure that is impossible to ignore. The fabric is soft between Sienna's fingertips, making the dress almost intangible. The overall effect of the dress is chillingly, and beautiful, like an apparition that has slipped out of the spirt realm and into the material world. And she couldn't believe she was wearing it.
The haunting sight of such a dress was instantly capable of capturing one's attention, no matter who or what was wearing it. The pale ghostly shade of blue the dress had adds to its eerie yet captivating charm. How the white speckles scattered throughout the dress was capable of creating such a dazzling contrast, resembling the stars in the night sky. Delicately adorned with white lace detailing, the attire now appears even more elegant, further accentuating its haunting appearance. As the light catches the fabric from the small opening in the window, the sparkles shimmer and dance, adding an enchanting allure ot it. As Sienna takes the fabric between her fingertips, she instantly take aback at how soft the feel is, almost feeling like a ghostly whisper, rendering it almost intangible. The overall effect is chillingly beautiful, as if an apparition has just wandered into this material world from the spirt realm Sienna, donning this dress, exudes confidence and beauty, as she is now ready to conquer the new world that awaits her.
''Thank you, Amara! I feel so beautiful.'' Sienna exclaimed gratefully, a wide smile adorning her face.
''Well deserved, Sienna. You're beautiful both inside and out.'' replied Amara, reciprocating the embrace Sienna had on her, with genuine warmth and affection. Then a voice shouting her name brought Amara's attention to the door. ''Amara! We're back.''
''It's my brother! He's returned!'' shouted Amara. Sienna's heart began to race as her brain quickly made sense of what she was hearing. ''He's back...'' Sienna found herself whispering. As she processed the word ''We'' heart skipped a beat realizing it could only mean one thing. Seiya had returned with him. Without a second thought, she took off running out of the room just before Amara had the chance to utter a word. She leapt down the steps, the sound of her heels resonating like a symphony. It was as though she was a princess in a Disney movie, her every move resembling that of a fairytale character. She called out Seiya's name as she went along, hoping to catch him as fast as she could. Worry from the last couple hours, causing her heart to pound in her chest. Once downstairs, Amara hot on her tracks, she saw him. Seiya. He was draped over the prince's shoulder, dangling with his head down, exhaustion sprawled all over his body. Sienna found her eyes widening as she took in the sight of the boy before her. She slowly walked up to him, hands slipping under his chin, soft and light, as she brought his face up to look at her. He was drenched in sweat. ''Seiya?'' she whispered, desperately hoping for a response. ''Can you hear me?''
''I discovered him in the midst of the ocean, he was being chased by a pack of mermaids. However, they failed to capture him.'' the prince informed her. Sienna's faze darted across Seiya's body, noticing the changes on him that were absent during their last encounter. Clinging flawlessly to his wet physique was the same stunning azure amor, the pegasus armor he'd been wearing that faithful night when they both had went plummeting into the water. That same white cape was present, the same one previously used to shield her from the cyborgs bullets, it was draped over his shoulder. Then something odd managed to catch her attention next - a band adorned with pegasus wings, which he had not been wearing before, was on his head. Despite his visible fatigue, Seiya's determination and unwavering spirt remained evident on his face. Sienna found herself entranced by his transformed appearance, all until a surge of realization surged through her. ''Seiya!'' she exclaimed, securing his face between her hands. ''Open your eyes and deny that you committed the act I fear you did!'' she demanded sternly.
Though he was clearly weak and exhausted, Sienna's ears were filled with his voice. ''I-I had to do it.'' Still, Sienna persisted. ''Even if you think you have control over the situation, the spirt only waits for you to fulfill your end of the bargain, then he'll stop at nothing to keep you in line, you'll no longer have any control anything he's accomplished what it is he wants! And who knows what or how long that'll take! That spirt has waited centuries to have someone fulfill his wish, do you honestly think he won't wait a little bit longer, if it means keeping a grip on the body who holds the pendant?'' Sienna explained, wiping away tears from her eyes that had ruined her fresh makeup. ''Why would you do something like this? I told you this could happen.'' she whispered softly.
Seiya took a deep breath before he spoke. ''It tried to kill me, Sienna. I had no choice. you still need someone to protect you, and my sister won't be able to save herself. As much as I disliked being your protector. I couldn't walk away knowing you were still in danger. So I made the deal.''
''Seiya, this is so much bigger than both you or i.'' As she stood in the very large palace entrance, frustration and fear building up inside her. Sienna began to feel something. Something that had a rush of panic flooding her insides like a pool filling with water. Her heart began to race, her breathing growing shallow, it felt like she was suffocating. Hunching over, knees giving out underneath her weight, she hugged herself where she sat on the floor, trying to fight but the feeling was overwhelming. ''Sienna? What's the matter?'' Amara, noticed her distress and rushed to her side, trying to calm her down, Sieya was weakly trying to get to her, eventually succeeding, and grabbing onto her shoulders.
''Sienna, look at me.'' he proceeded to do the same thing she'd done to him, get her to look at him by slowly moving her head. But she took off running, desperate to escape the overwhelming pool inside her, before he could. The pounding of her feet echoed in her ears as she bolted out the palace doors, and into the cool sunset. Tears streaming down her face still. She didn't know where it was she was running to, she just knew she had to get away from the suffocating feeling of panic she felt inside. Eventually making it to the back of the palace, the garden set in her sights, she found herself unable to run anymore. The heels had her feet burning. The overwhelming anxiety she felt was paralyzing her, making her feel like she was spiraling out of control. She tried everything she could think of to calm herself, everything her father had told her to do, to steady her racing heart when she experienced episodes like this, but nothing seemed to be working. It was as if the panic attack was never going to end. It was like her body was going to feel suffocated forever. She felt trapped, alone, and vulnerable, unable to find a safety from the chaos in her mind. Then she heard his voice.
Sienna was startled when she heard her name shouted out loud. Then to her surprise, she saw him. It was Seiya, he'd come after her. Despite appearing so weak, he made an effort to reach her. Panicking, she begged him to stay away. Seiya seemed to listen to her and halted in his steps, his gaze fixed on her. She was bewildered as she watched small specks of purple magic, hover in the air around her. In the midst of her amazement, disaster struck. The surroundings trembled violently, as the ground beneath her knees, cracked. The trees swayed violently, in the gust of the harsh wind. Tangled purple magic winded around her, posing a threat to engulf her entirely. Although she tried to escape, she couldn't move. Suddenly, she felt a rumbling sensation, and her body pulsated with energy that demanded her attention. Sienna let out a cry of agony.
''DADDY!''
