Legend of Kuuga the Campione

I decided to write this as Godou is the real Kamen Rider Kuuga. So hope you enjoy reading it.

A dark storm was getting worse at the area with thunder and lightning appearing, there was a huge humanoid and standing in front of him as a young man who looked like at the age of 15, blue hair, and a tattoo on his forehead hovering in the air.

"It's been a while, has it Melqart," the boy said.

"I've been waiting, Verethragna," Melqart said, addressing his real name, the god of light and war.

Unknown to them a girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, wearing red clothing as she jumped out of nowhere, in her hand is a rapier. "Cuore di Leone!" she shouted out when her rapier materialized and transformed into a shield.

"It seems the wound I got when last we fought, has yet to heal" Verethragna noted of his injuries.

"Hmm, you have revived me out of your conceited desire to fight to see who is strongest! I can not let your womb call me to overlook this fact!" Melqart stated.

"Look forward to it," Verethragna said with a smirk expression before a tornado appeared surrounding him as an illusion of a goat appeared along with a bird of prey. "Now only one avatar remains," he proclaimed.

Then a circle appeared in front of him with seven symbols before one popped up, just as Melqart lifted his club up and was about to slam it at the other god. "Please wait!" A red circle symbol appeared stopping both of them, they turned and saw the blonde girl.

"A witch huh?" Verethragna muttered as he recognized her as a witch.

"I'm afraid that I must ask you lay down your arms at once" she proclaimed to both of them to stop this fight.

"Right now this land is a battlefield on which we shall determine who is dominant! Give up human!" Melqart demands the blonde young woman leave so that he and Verethragna can continue their fight.

"God please have mercy!"

"Witch, I applaud your spirit which tries to oppose the gods, however, you should know your!" Verethragna said before sending out purple lightning at her as she managed to dodge it.

With purple lightning keep striking down at her while she jumps up and dodges them before one stuck her with the shield blocking letting it go by, landing down on the ground safely as her shield lands down not far away. As the purple lighting was about to strike down as she had no protection and just stood there before someone pushed her from the purple lightning.

She looks and sees a young handsome boy with black hair and eyes. She looks and recognizes him. "Godou…" she muttered.

"It's that boy" Verethragna whispered to himself and recognized him back at the alley.

"This way!" Godou hollered before grabbing her hand and dragging her up as they both ran.

But once they both stand right next to Malqart just as Godou calls out to him. "Hey, Melqart!" Godou yelled, getting the god's attention.

Melqart growled as he looked down and saw Godou holding a tablet up. "Verethragna power of the white horse lies within! How about it, wanna team up with me! If you protect the two of us you won't be able to return its full form!"

"Are you trying to use me! A god!" Melqart growled, furious at what that boy.

"Well, it is the first time I've tried to negotiate a deal with a god" Godou said to him. "But it isn't a bad deal."

"Hu hahaha! Hu ha hahaha!" Melqart laughed as the deal that Godou made isn't that bad at all. "Very interesting, very well human" he decided to accept him as she swings his club, Verethragna dodges it.

"It seems my initial prognosis was correct about you. Make this fun for me!" Verethragna calls out summoning a lightning bolt at Godou.

Godou!" she exclaimed, trying to warn him.

But all of a sudden a golden force field surrounded the area blocking the lightning attack, Verethragna turned his eye on Melqart as he's the one who protected Godou.

"Hu ha ha ha, you call that divine intervention," Melqart chuckled. "Be grateful, human."

"But what are you gonna do now?" she asked him wondering what his next move was.

"I haven't thought about it?" Godou replied, shocking her from what he said. "I only considered what I do up until now. Will see how things go from here I guess?"

"How can you stand there and smile?" she asked him that question.

"Well there is one thing," Godou turns around at her with a smile on his face. "I wanna make everyone smile, so I won't see them cry."

This surprises her with her eyes widened of what Godou said wanting everyone to smile.

"As expected from the child I bet on, but, it's still not enough that I would lose!" Verethragna hollered as he raised his hand up and summoned a golden sword.

Melqart swings his club at him with a battle cry, Verethragna manages to dodge it and charges towards the two humans. But when the golden force field appeared with the tip of the blade managed to pierce through.

"What the!? What's going on!?" Godou gasped, shocked by what he saw.

"Cursed gold!" Melqart growled as he recognized that sword.

So does her. "The golden sword" she muttered before realizing that golden sword. "Ah, wait I remember that sword. It has the ability to cut through divinity!"

"Cut through divinity?" Godou repeated what she said.

"That's right, the sword steals divinity from a deity that God to fall from godhood" as she explains to him about the golden sword.

"I wish to experience defeat, ancient kind, child of men, you shall entertain me more!" Verethragna exclaimed while pushing his golden sword through the forcefield.

Godou on the other hand was standing there hearing what Verethragna said. "Godou, run away from here now" she hollered begging to leave here pulling his arm.

However, Godou isn't running as he turns and sees her. "I was given the sacred tablet to hold, and I won't leave without using it" he said to her.

"But if a human uses that, their body will break down killing them!" she tries to explain to him if someone ever uses the tablet.

"And if I don't use this I'll die right?" he pointed out to her. "Don't worry" Godou smiled as he turned back to Verethragna as he summoned a silver belt with multiple buttons and a big red gem in the centre, this surprising her as Verethragna remembered that belt back at the alley.

"Now I'll show you my own Henshin!" Godou hollered making his hand movements and pressed the left side of his belt. His entire body donned a red armor piece. Chest, vambrace, and shoulder pads, gold brace around his hand, gold anklet around his leg, and gold part around his neck, his helmet have a silver mouthpiece, gold horns, and red compound eyes. This is Kamen Rider Kuuga.

The blonde girl was shocked to see him transforming into a red armor from his belt, however, there was something familiar about that armor as if she recognized that it was from somewhere.

But once Verethragna manages to break through the golden forcefield before Kuuga charges in and jumps up in the air towards Verethragna. He gripped his right hand as he thrust it at Verethragna before he blocked it with his golden sword.

"Yes, this is what I've been striving for! Why's your armor red instead of white!" Verethragna growled while holding his golden sword tightly before pushing Kuuga back on the ground before swinging his golden sword downwards.

"That's because this is the true color of the armor!" Kuuga hollered once he landed back on his feet and managed to dodge Verethragna slashes.

He then jumped up and kept dodging from Verethragna slashes, the girl rethinks back when she heard of this tale.

(Flashback)

"Long ago there was a tale of a warrior donned in red armor fought against a group of monsters and protected the tribe. This warrior is known by the tribe's people, Kuuga."

(Flashback ended)

"So that's….Kuuga," she thought when she heard that tale.

"And now, warrior! You will face the wrath of a mighty god!" Verethragna hollered.

"Then I'll show you the power of the tablet that was given to me!" Kuuga hollered before pulling out the tablet and holding it upfront. He yelled out loud when the glowing light that came from the tablet emerged and emerged a glowing beam of a horse aiming towards Verethragna.

It hits the god a powerful shockwave causing Kuuga to fly before crashing on the ground.

"Godou!" she hollered before running up to him to see he's okay.

However, Verethragna managed to survive that blast as his body was surrounded by a gold aura. "I can not lose to my own avatar!" he growled.

Kuuga gets up on his feet while holding his left arm before she comes. "Godou!" she said if he's alright.

"I stole it" he groaned as she blinked in confusion of what he meant by that. "I stole the sword. The golden sword" inside his helmet he smiles as he manages to get the golden sword from the god.

This shocked Verethragna from what he said, the god looked at his golden sword as it disappeared in his hand.

"I see, so that's what you were after from the start!" She realized Kuuga's plan all along.

"It can cut through divinity right? So what do I do, WHAT SHOULD I DO!" he yelled at her asking how to use that golden sword.

She didn't say anything to him as she only stared at him in silence.

"Godou."

"Yeah, Erica" he responded.

The girl known as Erica walks up to him while Kuuga looks confused about what she's doing until her face gets close to his face when his armor disappears and kisses Godou in the lips.

With that, a golden glowing light surrounded both of them as the light glows larger the area covered in gold, millions of gold swords appeared as they hover up in the air. Then all of the golden swords point towards Verethragna as Godou couldn't believe what he is seeing, one golden sword stuck on Verethragna as he looked and saw that he was stabbed before burning in flames.

Not far away, a mysterious man was watching this entire thing on the cliff of a hill"So, you are the new Kuuga" the mysterious man groaned darkly to see the new Kuuga and a new Campione.
