Star Trek: The Next Gamer

Episode 3.2: Culture We All Admire

Tyson was in Cargobay One with Lieutenant Yar and a security team when the bridge officers arrived. Troi, Riker, and Picard were speaking as they entered.

"This should be an interesting experience."

"Agreed. Not only are they closely humanoid, but their history has a remarkable similarity to ours."

"A highly structured society and they're exceedingly proud," added Troi.

Yar stated, "They've insisted on using their own transporter."

"It's their way Lieutenant," commented Picard, "Do they have our coordinates?"

"They have, sir, precisely, and they're standing by for your signal."

"This is Captain Picard aboard the Federation starship Enterprise. Please do us the honor of visiting our vessel."

A cadre of five men was transported to the designated spot in the cargobay. Four of the men wore matching grey outfits and carried staves. The fifth man wore a similar outfit which was blue. He had a rolled carpet that he kicked to roll out on the floor of the cargobay. To Tyson, the scene belonged more in Coming to America than on a starship in the future.

Once the carpet was placed, the blue-garbed man stepped to the side and a taller man in black and gold clothing teleported in. The most outstanding part of his outfit was the gold chain and hanging large ruby-like gemstone. It was a somewhat well-executed and coordinated showing that would have been impressive if the Federations sensors and transporter technology wasn't a century ahead of the Ligonians.

He walked to the edge of the carpet, proclaiming, "I am Lutan."

Picard walked within arms reach. He raised his hands presenting his palms forward. This was a symbolic gesture demonstrating that he was not possessing a weapon, and came with no hostile intentions. Lutan matched his gesture.

Picard then offered a handshake, "Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Welcome aboard."

He then returned to where the rest of the crew was standing, "These are my officers, Second in command, Commander William Riker. My ship's counselor, Deanna Troi. My security officer, Lieutenant Natasha Yar. And Junior Diplomatic Liason, Tyson."

"A woman, your Chief of Security?"

"Yes, Lutan. That is her expertise."

"I am honored to meet your officers. This is my secondary, Hagon. A sample of the vaccine."

Hagon, holding a case, stepped forward to present it to Picard. Tasha quickly stepped between the Ligonian and the captain.

"My duty, Lutan. I'm sorry, but I am required to inspect.."

"Out of my way, woman." declared the blue-garbed Ligonian.

He tried to push past Yar. She grabbed the case he was holding. Using it as a pivot point she spun and tossed him in a roll. Tasha was left holding the case, and Hagon was left on the ground.

"How interesting. May we prove as surprising to you." Lutan said chuckling.

Tasha inspected the case to ensure it wasn't dangerous, "Nothing concealed, Captain. Would you care to accept it?"

Troi advised, "Might I suggest, sir? No apologies. In their view, it would weaken us."

"Unless you care to examine it further," Lutan barbed.

"Absolutely not. This vaccine sample is a gift of life. And we are honored at receiving it. Would you do the additional honor now of letting us entertain you?"

"Yes. Yes. Please prepare it. We shall join you shortly."

The Federation officers turned to leave the cargobay. Hagan and Lutan began speaking low in their native tongue. Tyson had lingered to hear their conversation.

"I ask forgiveness." began Hagan.

"They are strange alien things. You bear no fault."

"But the female..."

"May be exactly what I have needed."

Well, that wasn't ominous. It was obvious to Tyson this discourse was going exactly the way it had during the television episode. He spoke up to the Ligonians in their language, "Sirs, if you'll join me. Our destination is the observation lounge of deck one. You'll have a chance to see the vessel's bridge along the way."

Cargobays One through Six were located on deck four in the forward section. The aft and center of the ship on that deck were the Shuttlebay. It was a quick trip to the bridge and through to the lounge.

"Lutan, we are aware of many of your planet's achievements, and its unique similarity to an ancient earth culture we all admire. On behave of the Federation, therefore I would like to present this token of our gratitude and friendship. From China's Sung Dynasty. Fourteenth Century."

"Thirteenth Century, sir." Data corrected.

"Ah, yes. Indeed."

"A most thoughtful gift." Lutan accepted. "We are pleased. We of Ligon have been apprehensive about strangers. We are not as technologically advanced as you. Yet, we possess something you do not. A vaccine which has been found to be an effective antidote against your dreaded Anchilles fever. If you respect our customs, and we see that respect, we will be friends. And we will make the antidote available to all who need it."

The Federation officers all clapped after Lutan's speech. It was a token effort from Tyson.

"If you require respect from us. I'm sure that you will see it."

Lutan chuckled again, "Surrounded by such friendship, I feel no need for my guards. I will return shortly, prepare to transport me then."

He dismissed them with a raised hand. The discomfort on Counselor Troi's face was easy to read. Tyson knew why. He could sense the deceit and mal intention radiating from the Ligonian leader.

"If there is anything else, any further courtesy."

"Would it be possible to see one of your wondrous holodecks? We have heard how they are used to train your officers."

"And used for many other things too. I would be happy to demonstrate."

"Would it be possible for Lieutenant Yar to do so, Captain? Some demonstration of defense training?"

"We've noticed you're intrigued with her having security responsibilities. But these things are not at all unusual with us."

Higan spoke for the first time in the meeting, "With us, it is the duty of the women only to own the land, and the duty of men to protect and rule it."

Troi commented, "Much the same has happened in human history too."

Yar stood, "I'd like to do it, sir. As a sign of respect, perhaps."

It was clear her tone was not respectful, but rather defiant. Tyson wasn't sure if that would be conveyed by the universal translator. Picard accented and Yar led the two Ligonians out of the lounge. Picard and Riker shared an understanding look. No one mentioned Tyson shadowing the delegation, thought it may have been because no one noticed.

Stealth skill has increased! 15 - 16

They entered the holodeck and Tasha approached the console. Two security officers remained outside. As the doors closed, Tyson stepped in remaining in the entryway on the side opposite the console. It was curious how his stealth skill was concealing him. It seemed that everyone was aware of his presence, but paid him no mind.

"Aikido one," Tasha ordered as she put on the martial arts gi holodeck created. A mat and holographic fighter manifested on the far end of the room.

"It won't move again until my actions activate it."

"You can create people, without a soul?"

"It's not a real person, Lutan. It has no life. Everything it does is controlled by computer." She approached the holo character. "Who am I? Do you hear me?"

The holo character did not respond to Tasha's questions. It didn't move until she approached and made it as if she was going to attack. The character shifted to block but took no actions otherwise.

"But it will feel real when it hits you."

Tasha grappled with the holo character. They turned and shifted; the exchange ended with Yar tossing it to the ground. The character stood and they shared another exchange with a similar outcome. Yar bowed to the character and stepped off the mat. It remained still in the same guard position.

"A force like that cannot possibly come from an image, Lutan."

"Then you will show me Higan."

The blue-garbed Ligonian stepped onto the mat where Yar previously stood. He lunged forward and grabbed the holo character. He was promptly tossed to the ground. The shocked look on his face was worth Tyson sneaking in for. Higan cautiously stood and left the matt, Lutan chuckling all the while.

"Thank you, Lieutenant. How very enlightening."

"Aikido, vanish."

"I can create two, even three, but one is enough. As you fight with it, it learns, and before long it knows exactly how to defeat you."

"Even the extraordinary Lieutenant Yar?"

"It forces us to keep improving."

"Your skill impresses me. I like you."

Tyson couldn't tell if Lutan was being complimentary or creepy. He waited for Yar to lead the men back to the cargobay. Once they left, Tyson went to the spot where Higan was floored by the holo character. A small amount of sweat was left on the man's imprint. Tyson touched it and brought it to his mouth.

Perk Activated: Power Eater
Racial Attribute Modifier: Ligonian (+1 Dex)

There was nothing unique about Ligonians. He was able to gain a point in dexterity, but they didn't have any perks or special qualities beyond normal humans.

~~Star Trek: TNG~~

They all entered the cargobay. Troi entered first, followed by Picard, Yar, and the Ligonians. Tyson positioned himself close enough to Yar that his hand brushed hers. She looked at him questioningly, but he kept his face neutral attempting to downplay the subtle contact.

"Farewell, my new friends on the noble Enterprise."

"Understanding has made friends of many different people. We've had a good beginning, Lutan."

"May I also extend a personal farewell to Lieutenant Yar, in your Federation terms?"

He held out his hand as if to shake. When Yar accepted, Lutan wrapped his other arm around her. Higan had kept hold of Lutan's other side. Tyson for his part activated stealth after Lutan and Picard had started talking. The speeches and drawn the attention of everyone in the cargobay, and his presence faded into the background. He'd never moved from Tasha's side, he was easily able to grab on at the same time Lutan did.

Lutan activated his transporter, and the four of them were teleported together.

"Picard to bridge. Red alert."

~~Star Trek: TNG~~

Picard and Troi stepped off the turbolift onto the bridge. The lights softly strobed red and the sound of the alert was freshly going. Riker stood at the tactical station, in Worf's typical location. Data sat at the forward console awaiting orders.

Riker spoke as they sat, "Shields up, photon torpedos activated sir."

"What com contact do we have?"

Data replied, "With their orbital station, sir"

"Make contact there, and on all hailing frequencies. This is the Enterprise to Lutan and the Ligonian government. You have committed an unfriendly act. We insist that you reply immediately."

"Photon torpedoes ready, sir."

"Set them for a display blast. A thousand meters short of the planet's surface."

"Set."

"Fire."

Half a dozen photon torpedoes were launched from the Enterprise. They exploded in the upper atmosphere of the planet. The display was visible on the entire eastern portion of the continent in the northern hemisphere.

"Do we know the source of their transporter beam?" Riker asked.

It was LaForge who responded, "Our own transporter people have tried to trace it, sir, but to no effect."

"It reads similar to early Starfleet efforts but uses the Heglenian shift to convert energy and matter in different.. Which is actually not important at this time." Data began to add but backtracked when he realized that the crew was not interested in his explanation.

"This is Captain Picard of the Enterprise with a message to Lutan, whom I have so far acknowledged as a friend. But you have now committed what our laws regard as an attack upon us. Since you have visited our vessel, you most certainly know the power of it. We insist that you reply to this message."

When there was no reply, Picard asked Troi, "Opinion, counselor. Will they injure Lieutenant Yar or Ensign Tyson?"

"I believe not, sir. They seem mainly curious. In the case of Lutan, however. I did feel other needs."

"What kind of needs?" asked Riker.

"Some sexual attraction from all the males. Lieutenant Yar is physically very attractive. But with Lutan, I felt something else. Something more like avarice, or ambition. Tyson would have picked up on this too, which may be why he was ready to intercede."

"Other comments?"

"If I may, sir," started Data, "One of the things about them, in the briefing studies, was their respect for patience"

"Strongly emphasized," added Riker, "And you can see it in the precise, ritualistic way they do things. I'm worried about Yar, and Tyson too sir, but maybe we should sit and wait them out."

Episode 3.3: I Can Do This All Day

Tyson grabbed the hand holding Yar. Tyson slid his thumb up, aligning with Lutan's, and wrapping his remaining fingers in a thumb lock. Using his other hand he forced the Ligonian leader's wrist into extension. With Lutan's arm no longer holding Tasha in place, Tyson shifted forward and delivered a two-hand shove to the Ligonian. Lutan let out a cry of surprise as he was pushed into Higan and they both flew back, sprawled on the ground.

Tyson stood protectively between Tasha and the Ligonians. The entire exchange finished four seconds after the teleportation ended. Tasha was in shock either from the unexpected teleport, or Tyson's quick, violent reaction.

From the ground, Lutan shouted, "Capture them!"

During his momentary reprieve, Tyson was not idle. He assessed his environment and situation. The first thing that caught his attention was the pink sky, Tyson wasn't sure if that was the normal color or if it was an aspect of the sunset. This was a huge milestone for him. It was his first time, since he arrived, being on a planet. He took a moment to appreciate that barring the validity of conspiracy theories, he was the first human from 'his Earth' to stand on another planet. Too bad no one from that Earth would ever know about it.

They'd been transported into an open courtyard. Unfortunately for Tyson, there were no walls or obstacles nearby to use as choke points. He and Yar were severely outnumbered. When Lutan arrived on the Enterprise, he'd brought Higan and four guards. Tyson wished those were the numbers he would be facing. Arrayed against them stood a dozen men, all dressed and armed as Lutan's original guards were. Staves pointed in his direction.

The first contingent approached. The guards were familiar with small-scale battle formations. They surrounded Tyson and Yar in two concentric circles before moving into melee range. When they did come for him, two fighters approached from his front and one approached Yar behind him. The odds were not in their favor. Tyson considered equipping his shield but didn't want to reveal his Inventory yet.

The gamer needed to see what he was up against. Observe.

Observe skill has increased! 12 - 13

Guard
{Ligonian Government}
Level 5
Hit Points: 112

Staff Attack: +7 to hit. 2D6+4 damage

His strategy was simple. Focused on the guard to his left, accept his initial probing strike, no moving to block or evade.

Attack Received: Critical Failure!
Attack Received: Critical Success! -16 HP (644)

The guard must have been green. His jab was so slow that Tyson was able to grab the staff and wrench it from his hands. Before Tyson could shift into a defensive stance, the second Ligonian swung his staff in an overhead two-handed strike.

Ligonian Guardian Staff
Uncommon
+ 1 AC
42 Damage

The guards seemed warier with him also wielding a weapon. The one who'd lost his staff retreated and was replaced with a fresh fighter. It gave him a moment to think about if he wanted to keep the staff or not. It did much more damage than he did with his fists and added to his defenses. The drawback was he needed both hands to use it and wouldn't benefit from his Master With Your Hands Perk. Additionally, he couldn't use the Vulcan Neck Pinch with it equipped, and that was his fastest means of disabling opponents. His quick math revealed using that technique on these guys would be a DC: 32. It would be trivial for him to hit the Ligonian guards. He wouldn't gain any Melee Weapon skill increases from fighting them. The decision was easy. Tyson dropped the staff and attacked the guard who'd beaned him.

Martial Arts/Medicine Check (DC: 32) = 66 Major Success!
Martial Arts Skill Increased! 22-23
Martial Arts/Medicine Roll: 61 Major Success!
Martial Arts Skill Increased! 23-24

The guards dropped just like a puppet with its strings cut. All the combatants were stunned by how quickly Tyson was able to disable the two guards. The pause allowed Tyson to make a declaration, "You have attempted to abduct a Starfleet Officer and declared hostile intent toward the United Federation of Planets. Cease this immediately!"

Social Check (DC: 26) = 39 Major Success!

Targets Intimidated!
Negative Status Effect Applied
Intimidated: -2 Attack Rolls and Saving Throws. Intimidated targets cannot move closer to the creature that inflicted the status. Duration: One Round.

"Ignore him. Your ruler commands it!" shouted Lutan. The Ligonian leader regained his feet while Tyson was engaged in melee. From Yar's perspective, the Ligonians were hesitant to attack Tyson, but she was unable to see the status effect. Tyson knew his space would be short-lived. He took the initiative and attacked two more Ligonian guards.

Four down, eight to go. As Tyson defeated the guards, the circles around them shifted. Tyson couldn't spend time focusing on Yar, he had his hands full with his own battles. Every time he defeated an opponent, he would taunt the remaining fighters. Unfortunately, Lutan called for reinforcements. The Ligonians came in a neverending wave, reinforcing the circles.

"I can do this all day," Tyson declared flashing his best Captain America smile.

~~Star Trek: TNG~~

Perk Activated: Q and U

The world around Tyson came to a sudden and unexpected halt. The air was thick with a strange sense of stillness as if everything around him had been trapped in time itself. Around him were the unconscious forms of the Ligonians he'd defeated. He was up to twenty-eight. Too bad Worf wasn't here to see this.

Then, in a flash, a figure materialized before him. It was Q dressed in an old-style baseball uniform. In his hands was an oversized, foam child's baseball bat. It was Knickerbocker blue and orange and had the letter printed boldly on its length.

"A Nerf bat? Really?" was all Tyson got to say before Q swung, striking Tyson on the shoulder. The blow made no sound, but Tyson felt it all the same. It was as if he had been struck by a thunderbolt, and he stumbled backward, his body shaking with the force of the impact. For a moment, he wondered how much damage Q had done with the strike, but then realized that there was no pain. It was like being hit by a pillow, only a thousand times more intense.

Before Tyson could even gather his wits, Q had disappeared, leaving him standing there, dazed and confused. He was left to ponder the strange encounter in silence. What had just happened? And more importantly, why?

A notification popped up.

Update Version 3.3 Patch Notes:
- Vulcan Nerve Pinch can only be used in conjunction with 'The Anti-Worf Effect Perk'.
After a thorough review, it was determined that this ability was too powerful for continuous use and boring and ridiculous to watch being used dozens of times in a single encounter.

The world around him resumed its normal flow as if nothing had happened.

~~Star Trek: TNG~~

"Enough!" Lutan's bellow was heard over the sounds of battle. The Ligonians backed off from Tyson; a difficult prospect as over two dozen of their comrades littered the grounds. The gamer graciously accepted the reprieve. He was still trying to gather his wits after Q's sudden visit. Tyson spat blood; the coppery, green liquid had built up in his mouth. A quick check of his status revealed he was down below half-hit points. He believed he could defeat the remaining guards in the room, but it would be close and he had no idea how many guards Lutan had in reserve.

"Surrender now, or Lieutenant Yar will pay the price."

Tyson hadn't turned to face Lutan, not wanting to take his eyes off the nearest guards. At his latest declaration, he relaxed his stance and looked at the ruler. He had an arm around Yar with a long, ornate dagger at her throat.

Tyson sighed. He hadn't been able to defend Yar and fight all the Ligonians at the same time. They had been attacking him three at a time towards the end of the battle. He noted the change but hadn't connected it with losing Yar at his back.

The security officer wasn't too bad off. She was bruised and bleeding, and her uniform was ripped in several places. Tyson too felt he was in a similar position, with a busted lip, cut cheek, and the feeling of swelling setting into his left eye. Tyson's uniform was however intact. A combination of his Aesthetic Damage perk and the bulletproof and stabproof upgrades he'd made when he first picked it up.

She was no captured princess though. She'd defeated at least three guards on her own before being captured by their leader.

Tyson balled his hands into fists, angry at his inability to protect his comrade. But brashness wouldn't save her. He brought his hands together and extended his arms so they could be restrained. He raised his chin in defiance and stated, "I'll cooperate."

"A wise move. Do not fear. You will be treated well."

A guard placed manacles onto his wrists. The chain was long enough he could be guided with it. Tyson received notification as he was escorted away.

The name of the item was written in gold on the interface. Tyson had never received any items higher than Uncommon rarity. The common items had their names written in white, and the Uncommons were green. Focusing on the Legendary status revealed additional information.

Legendary items are forever useful. They cannot be broken, dulled, chipped, tarnished, or rusted.

Tyson walked, head hung, mumbling curses. Not because he was captured and bound. But because he received a Legendary item that didn't match his chosen perks.

~~Star Trek: TNG~~

Counselor Troi closed her eyes and focused her Empathy on Tyson's mental signature. This wasn't something she would normally be able to do, but there should be some remnants of the connection they'd made. There wasn't. The telepathic bond they'd shared was temporary, and after their last time together faded completely. Sitting passively on the bridge she could only relay what she was feeling through her Empathy, there was no reciprocation from Tyson.

"Captain, I'm getting a sense of Tyson's feelings. When they were taken I felt his defiance. There must have been a fight because I could feel his determination and excitement, maybe even some bloodlust. But it suddenly ceased. I'm not feeling any distress from Tyson, only disappointment."

"Tyson is a warrior, he would not be beaten easily." Stated Worf. The Klingon was at the tactical station in Yar's place.

Deanna smiled at the compliment, "He would appreciate that, Worf. I'm sure you're right."

"A warrior does not let a friend face danger alone." the Klingon spoke with gravitas. "He did a great deed today. There is no shame in defeat."

"Agreed, Mr. Worf." said the captain. "But, what shall we do? Opinions?"

"Cowards take hostages." Worf was the first to speak, "The battle has already begun, we should send a team to retrieve Tyson and Lieutenant Yar."

Data disagreed with the tactical officer, "Sir, these are diplomatic negotiations. We do not have the vaccines we need, nor do we know the exact location of Ensign Tyson or Lieutenant Yar. We should wait for a diplomatic opportunity to present itself."

Picard nodded, "Counselor, your accounting seemed quite a bit more accurate than usual."

"Yes sir, Ensign Tyson also possesses Empathy. I can sense him with greater detail than others."

"Could you pinpoint his location?"

"No, sir. I can read his senses, but I can't find his location beyond a vague impression."

"Commander, anything to add?"

Riker, whose attention had been on Troi, shifted to the captain. "Sir, I agree with Commander Data. We still don't know where they are, and we need that vaccine."

"Very well. The wait continues. Counselor, keep us appraised of Ensign Tyson's status."

"Yes sir."

~~Star Trek: TNG~~

You have slept in a bed. All Hit Points recovered and negative status effects were removed.

Tyson hadn't slept often and this was the first time he did so with purpose. It was evening on Ligon when he'd been escorted to his holding room. He was down to half his hitpoints and decided it would be easier and less risky to recover by sleeping instead of pulling a biobed out of his Inventory and treating himself. His room had no windows making it impossible to tell how much time had passed.

Tyson had been relying too heavily on his metaknowledge. Not everything here was as he expected based on the television show. There was one thing that really seemed out of place and was bothering him, the Klingon merchant in the mall, Korek. The man was never mentioned during the show. Tyson was pretty sure that in canon, Worf was the only Klingon regularly on the Enterprise. Was the man's presence just something overlooked in the show, a side-effect of his gamer powers, or an indication that this universe was similar but not the same as the canon one?

Tyson mulled over these thoughts until someone brought him some food. He was hoping it would someone he could use his Social skill on to gain information. Disappointment resonated when it was just another Ligonian Guard that delivered his plate. The food wasn't bad, an alien potato with meat. Plain, but filling with Observe revealing no poison. The guard said nothing and wouldn't respond to any of his questions. Freaking NPCs. Tyson assumed he'd have a lot of time before being visited again. He pulled his Medical Tricorder from his Inventory. There were two guards outside his door. He gently checked the doorknob to see if it was locked. It was.

He glanced at his skill and perks to see if there was anything to help in this situation. Stealth would be useful once he got out. He didn't have a Lockpicking or Thievery skill. None of his perks would help him get out. Tyson thought he might be able to just kick down the door with his massive Strength attribute. He also had six unspent attribute points. Pumping those points into strength would raise it to thirty-one which would be enough to allow him to lift a small car.

Tyson didn't want to commit to spending those points yet. He'd noticed his Dexterity was determining how easily he was hit during combat, and he was hit a lot. Deep down though, Tyson was hoping for magic at some point. And magic used either Intelligence or Wisdom. He was determined to hoard attribute points until then, regardless of how long it took.

The tricorder couldn't locate Lieutenant Yar directly. Ligonians were too similar to Humans for Tyson to distinguish her life signs. There wasn't a biological marker he could use to easily identify her. The information he received from the tricorder was limited. Less so by the scanning capabilities, but more by the display capabilities of the small device. A holographic display would be far better, as it was, Tyson couldn't get a layout of the building he was in. He did know that the wall opposite his door separated his room from what looked like a hallway. Best he could tell, there were no life signs in that hallway currently.

Tyson pulled his phaser out of his Inventory. Not his phase pistol, the standard Starfleet-issue phaser. Phasers were the weapon of choice for Starfleet due to their adaptability. They aren't the most powerful weapons, but they can be used as cutting beams, and firestarters, and can be adapted to project wide-area beams or even forcefield emitters with enough adjusting. Tyson modified its settings to create a tighter beam and cut through the back wall. It took only a minute and made minimal noise. He was able to push the cut section out and replace it after he moved out. The misplaced stone facade would be obvious to anyone looking, but Tyson hoped it would avoid scrutiny for a few hours.

Tyson activated Stealth. The guards wouldn't notice him as long as he didn't get too close. With his tricorder, he was able to move unnoticed. He could sense the Ligonians through his Empathy, but the tricorder was more accurate for locating targets. The building's layout was closer to a mansion than it was to a prison. They must've just thrown him in a bedroom and locked the door. Tyson hit the jackpot in the sublevel basement cold storage. Stacks upon stacks of crates filled with vaccines were stored in neat rows. Tyson inspected several crates using his medical tricorder and observe. All were for Anchilles fever. And all went into Tyson's Inventory. Why they kept it the vaccine on-site when they had transporter technology was unknown.

It took Tyson a while to find the Ligonian equivalent of a transporter room. Their version of the technology was less advanced than current Federation standards. They would need transporter pads because doing site-to-site transports was more advanced. He now had an evacuation point to fall back to. He was fluent in their language so his Computer skill allowed him to navigate their system easily. All he needed was to find Tasha.

A beeping from his tricorder notified him that the guards were rotating. He needed to return to his room before his excursion was noticed.

AN: Follows, Favs, and Reviews are great motivation, thanks! Because it's a double release, no updates until next Monday, enjoy the week.

Notes from Reviews:

Shuttlebay is a Gamer mechanic, similar to the holodeck. It's a physical area of the ship that represents a Gamer ability. The shuttlebay creates a ship customization screen similar to Star Trek Online. His inventoried ships can be placed there, and can be entered, but are miniaturized as a representation. Ex: The Dkyr is 600m long but Tyson could pull it out and it would be scaled to fit inside the shuttlebay area.

Power Eater for Data's oil... pause lol. This hasn't come up yet, but some aspects of that perk will be revealed in Ep 5... But we don't talk about Episode 5.
