28. Chapter 25 (True Ending Route)

Get ready for the epic, climatic, grand finale in this amazing story! This will NOT be the final chapter of the story. There will be much much more where that came from. But as you can see, this is where the final battle will begin and everything will all come together. As what Chuggaaconroy from 2013 said in his finale part of his gameplay, "Being completely honest with you, I have never done this chapter on 9.0. Not in my spare time, never. I have never been able to actually do it. So, for that reason, I am very very glad that it's a 5.3. ...Or rather, that's what I would be saying, *quickly switches from 5.3 to 9.0* if I wasn't saying, BRING IT ON!" What he said, prepare yourselves for the biggest, bestest, most epic finale of the chapter. You already know the drill, so stay glued to your seats, bring yourselves on the edge of them, and witness the epic finale of Kid Icarus: Uprising - Demonic DLC history! LET'S GO!

Chapter 25: The War's End + DLC: The True Mastermind Behind Everything (True Ending Route)

Music playing: The War's End (Phase 1)

Pit rushed and jumped into the air to enter the Great Sacred Treasure for the final battle. "Great Sacred Treasure activate!" he exclaimed as he hopped in and flew out the door into the Underworld to to defeat the ruler himself, Hades, for real. "The time has finally come, Pit. This is the final battle," said Palutena. "Good luck!" "Thanks! I am SO ready for this!" said Pit. "Hope you didn't get too lonely without me," said Viridi. "What are you doing here, Viridi?" Pit asked, happy to hear her voice. "There's no way I'd miss the battle of battles! I made popcorn and everything!" said Viridi. And I wish you the best of luck in defeating Hades once and for all, she added in thought. "Don't forget about me!" said Dark Pit. "And me!" said Phosphora. "And me as well," said Arlon "Oh and also Cragalanche," Phosphora pointed out. Cragalanche couldn't speak, but he showed a sign of good luck by simply nodding. "Thanks, you guys," Pit thanked. "Wish me the best of luck to end this once and for all!" However, Devil Pit was hiding in the shadows to watch the final battle unfold as well. "So, it appears that Pit is about to fight Hades in this final rematch," he said. "Let's see if he can complete his final challenge...before I step in to conclude it all!" As Pit continued to take down more Underworld enemies, Hades emerged from below the ground. "Hrrrraaah!" he roared and then landed right in front Pit with his arms crossed. They finally meet each other again. For the final battle. Face-to-face. "Hello again, Pitty," Hades greeted. "Hades!" Pit growled. This of course brought the two of them to say their names back and fourth once again. "Pit!" "Hades!" "Pit!" "Hades!" "Pit!" "Hades!" The last two were much slower than one would think. Then Hades suddenly sneezed, "Hachoo!" It was an accident. (A/N: Fun Fact: In the Japanese version of the game, Pit was the one to sneeze instead of Hades.) "Excuse you. But anyway..." Pit started before they both said, simultaneously, "Now it's REALLY on!" They both attacked each other and said their final words separately. "On to death!" Hades yelled in finish. "On to victory!" Pit yelled in finish. Phase 1 of the final battle began. "Let me get a closer look at that shiny new toy of yours," said Hades as he unleashed powerful attacks at Pit, only for the angel to avoid them quickly. Hades then lashed out at Pit with his claws. "Yaaah!" he growled. "Lord of the Underworld, it's time for you to pay!" Pit yelled. "Bwahahahahaha!" Hades laughed. "You can be awfully cute, Pitty. But that doesn't mean I won't squash you like a gnat!" He then slammed his fist down to smash Pit to the ground, only for the angel to avoid it. "Whoa!" he gasped. "Drat, my arm is stuck," Hades grunted as he struggled to wiggle his fist free, "Grefff grrrr ah!" and then he finally got it off the ground. "All better!" he sighed in relief. "Don't think that will be the last attack you're going to face!" Phosphora warned. "Yeah! Hades is no joke when it comes to his powers!" Dark Pit added. "I'll be careful!" said Pit. Hades then summoned a whirlwind around himself. "Here you go!" he yelled. "No thank you!" Pit yelled back as he avoided it. "Great Sacred Treasure, do your thing!" Hades then decided to give Pit a little surprise with a powerful attack. "Pitty?" he started. "I have something to show you!" He then spun around to create a giant purple twister. "No no no!" Pit yelled. "If you get caught up in that twister, it will tear you apart!" Palutena warned. "Get out of its way before it catches you!" Phosphora added. Pit did as he was told and avoided the twister's attacks before it finally dissipated. "Playing hard to get, are you?" Hades asked as he began charging at Pit with full speeds. "Aaaaaugh!" Pit yelled in fear. "Good thing I've been training," said Hades. "It's kind of like watching an elephant sprint," said Viridi. "I...don't think it's the best time to think it like that, Mistress Viridi," Arlon sighed. Devil Pit heard what Viridi just said and facepalmed. "How could you say something like that at a time like this, you stupid Nature Goddess?!" he groaned. Pit managed to slow Hades down by continuously using shooting attacks to stop him. Soon enough, Pit managed to fend Hades off and he stopped sprinting to finish Phase 1. "Ow!" he groaned in pain. "Did I beat him?" Pit asked. "No, I'm fine. But I could've sprained my ankle, you know!" Hades replied before jumping into the air, "Good thing..." and slammed his fist down hard. "I DIDN'T!" "What's the matter, Hades?" Pit asked. "You had enough?" "Oh, no! I'm just getting started!" Hades replied and then flew out of Pit's sight into a portal. "Let's see if you can keep up!" "You can't run from me!" Pit yelled as the Great Sacred Treasure began to transform. "Engaging Pursuit Mode!" He then flew off into the portal to chase after Hades in hot pursuit. "Go, Pit!" Viridi cheered. Devil Pit saw them fly away. "I wonder if I could follow them without them noticing," he said. "Let's give it a shot!" He then flew off into the portal to follow Pit and Hades.

Music stops and switches to: The War's End (Phase 2)

Meanwhile, Hades flew in the portal with Pit chasing after him from behind. "Why, Pitty, I thought I'd left you behind!" the Underworld ruler gasped. "Like I said, you can't run from me! Not when I've got the Great Sacred Treasure!" Pit replied. "What, you mean you can't keep up with me on your own?" Hades asked. Phase 2 of the final battle began. "It wasn't cool of you to disappear earlier. After all, this IS our final battle," said Pit. "Oh, I was just going to make a quick stop to decimate a country or two," said Hades. "In the middle of battle? Why would you do that?" Pit questioned. "Probably so he could fuel up on souls," said Viridi. "Yes, I was hoping to greet Pitty on top of a mountain of corpses," Hades elaborated. "But I didn't even get a pile started with him hot on my heels. What a killjoy." "Your hunger for destruction is as boundless as it is callous, Hades," said Palutena. "Plus, a 'mountain of corpses?' Seriously?" Pit groaned in disgust. Devil Pit heard the entire conversation and was confused. "Funny. I was actually going to do the same thing," he said. "And besides, I don't think YOU of all people would do what I wanted to achieve. After all, you WERE responsible for capturing me. Plus, the 'mountain of corpses' and those souls are mine to devour. NOT yours!" During the battle, Pit noticed something weird on Hades' back. Smaller versions of his face came out to attack the angel. "Are those...face guns?" Pit asked. "Not just any face. Hades' face," said Palutena. "Ugh! That is disgusting!" Phosphora groaned. "I want you to remember every detail of this lovely visage," said Hades. "After all, it's the last face you'll ever see!" "Your visage is disappointing, Hades," said Devil Pit. "You are FAR more inferior than me." After taking down the face guns, Pit noticed a weak point and attacked it. This received enough damage on Hades to finish Phase 2. "Ugh!" he groaned. "Now, Pitty. That was VERY naughty of you!" He then unleashed a bombard of attacks to destroy the Great Sacred Treasure. "Yow ow ow ow!" Pit cried as he tried to avoid them, but they eventually hit the Great Sacred Treasure enough times to cause an explosion. "The Great Sacred Treasure is falling apart!" Pit yelped. "No, it's...it's changing shape again!" Palutena gasped and the ultimate weapon was indeed transforming after it safely emerged from the explosion. "Mech Armor Mode engaged!" Pit yelled out. "This thing is so awesome." "Go get him, Pit!" Phosphora cheered. Devil Pit saw the whole battle continue. "Now you're really impressing me, Pit!" he said. "But let's see how well you can take down Hades this time!"

Music stops and switches to: The War's End (Phase 3)

After Pit faced Hades again with the Great Sacred Treasure's new mode, Phase 3 of the final battle began. "You're starting to get on my nerves," Hades groaned. "Good!" Pit replied as he received four more Recover Orbs to replenish his health. "He's covered from head to toe in weaponry. Like a rainbow apocalypse," said Viridi. "I prefer to think of it as my devastation ensemble," said Hades. "I only wear it for very special occasions. You know, weddings, armageddons..." "Plus, Mistress Viridi, now's still not the time to think about something like that," Phosphora sighed. Devil Pit did indeed heard what Viridi said and facepalmed. "Seriously! Just stop thinking about your stupid tastes, Viridi!" he grumbled. After Pit took down all of Hades' weapons from his body, Hades raised his right hand to unleash a vortex. "Yeaaah!" he yelled while also firing shots out of his eyes. Luckily, Pit stopped the vortex and Hades lowered his hand, only for him to raise his other one to do the same thing. "Hruuaaah!" he yelled. Luckily, Pit did the same thing and took down the vortex. But after Hades lowered his other hand down, he began shooting lasers out of his chest. "Hruuugh!" he yelled as multiple weaponry attacked our hero. Pit found a weak point to stop Hades from shooting at him with his guns. He took it down and Hades stopped shooting which ended Phase 3 of the final battle. "Ooooah!" he groaned, until he suddenly grabbed the Great Sacred Treasure. "Come here!" yelled. "Gah!" Pit yelped. "Plucked at the peak of ripeness!" said Hades as a drill appeared out of his chest. "Now I'll just drill through the rind to remove the Pit!" Suddenly, the top part of the ultimate weapon fell apart from the bottom part. "Augh!" Pit yelped. "Ugh! Now what?!" Hades groaned. "Take this!" Pit yelled and sliced Hades in half. "Ooooooooh ow!" the Underworld ruler groaned in pain. "You're not HALF the villain you thought you were!" Pit yelled out. "That's what YOU think! Ha ha ha ha!" Hades laughed as he flew away past Pit and out of the portal. "How did THAT not finish him off?" Pit cried, surprised, as the Great Sacred Treasure transformed once again. "I have to catch up with him. Engaging Ultralight Mode!" After that, he began to fly out of the portal. "Where'd he go?!" he asked. "Up. He's aboveground!" Palutena pointed out. "Get out there and finish him off!" Dark Pit cheered as Pit flew out of the portal and into the Overworld. Devil Pit was still behind him. "Now this is going to be where my final step of the backup plan will begin," he said. "Time to follow them and finish this!" He then flew out of the portal to follow Pit and Hades into the Overworld.

Music stops and switches to: The War's End (Phase 4)

Pit and arrived at the Overworld to find Hades, while Devil Pit arrived as well and hid. "Behind you, Pit!" Viridi warned and Pit turned around to see Hades. "Still stalking me, I see," said Hades as he generated a new pair of legs. "Grrrrrrrrrraaaaaa ugh!" he groaned during that before he was finished. "That's better," he sighed. "What the—?!" Pit gasped as he received six more Recover Orbs to replenish his health. "Now let's see if you're ready for the REAL challenge," said Devil Pit. "Show him what you're made of. If you don't, I'm going to be VERY disappointed in you." Phase 4 of the final battle began. "You've got incoming fire! Take out those blue shots!" Palutena explained. "But those purple shots will hurt you, so DON'T shoot those!" Viridi warned. Pit did as he was told and carefully made sure to take out the blue shots and not the purple shots. "You can't get through this by shooting wildly," Palutena continued. "Focus on which shots to attack!" Viridi added. "This is VERY interesting," said Devil Pit. "Never thought that Hades would be trying to put out all of the stops. But let's see who is the tough one here!" Hades' attacks were really devastating, but Pit made sure to avoid the ones he wasn't supposed to attack and take down Hades. It was tough, but Pit took down Hades to finish Phase 4 of the final battle. "This is ever so tiresome," Hades groaned. "Then let's finish it!" Pit yelled as he charged at Hades, only for the Underworld ruler to teleport himself away. "Wait—huh?" Pit gasped and suddenly, Hades appeared from the sky and clasped his hands on the Great Sacred Treasure, destroying it in the process. "BOOM!" he yelled. "Aaaah!" Pit cried as he was separated from the Great Sacred Treasure and began falling toward the surface. "Oh, no!" Palutena gasped in horror. "Wa ha ha ha. Looks like your little toy isn't so GREAT after all!" Hades laughed, sinisterly. "Snap out of it, Pit!" Palutena yelled in fear. "Pit! Wake up!" Viridi cried. "Pit!" Dark Pit yelled. "Young master!" Arlon cried. "Oh no! Pit!" Phosphora cried. During the commotion, Devil Pit talked to the angel telepathically in his sinister voice. "Well, it looks like the battle is coming to an end," he said. "I guess you really did disappoint me. You won't survive anymore now that the ultimate weapon is destroyed. Why persist? There is no way to survive the outcome of this. It's over. You're finished. Give up and die already!" Pit roughly landed on a strip of land with the pieces of the Great Sacred Treasure coming down. "Gah!" he yelped as Hades landed in the ocean, walked up to the injured angel with a sinister smile, and prepared a powerful attack. "Since you've been such a great adversary, I've saved my deadliest attack just for you!" he said. "I do hope you enjoy it!" Pit then took out his Palutena Bow he kept, just in case for the outcome of this situation, and pointed it at Hades. "I feel an outside force—a godlike force—gathering power. But is it friend or foe..." said Palutena. "It seems to be...seeking Hades! Guide this force by keeping your weapon pointed on him." Pit did as he was told and continued to point his weapon at Hades. During which, Devil Pit talked to the angel again. "You cannot escape danger any longer," he started. "This is where everything will be put in its place. You deserve pain and agony with no one on your side. You're nothing to anyone, even if they trusted you during your missions. So die!" Pit then successfully guided the force and someone appeared out of nowhere and severed Hades' head with one punch, destroying her arm in the process. "Hmph!" she grunted. Turns out that attack came from Medusa. "Huh?!" Pit gasped. "Medusa?!" Palutena and Viridi exclaimed, surprised. "WHAT?!" Dark Pit, Arlon and Phosphora shouted. Cragalanche's eyes widen in shock. "But we defeated you! Why are you helping us?!" Palutena asked. "Hades keeps reviving me, but I won't play the puppet anymore!" Medusa replied. And I also broke free from his control thanks to you, she added in thought. This is for you and Gaia, sis. She attempted to attack Hades with her other arm, but Hades instead ripped her arm from her body. "No! How dare you?!" Medusa yelled. "I am your master, Medusa, and I will revive you as many times as I desire!" said Hades as he generated a new head. "Gwaaaah!" he yelled and then charged at his puppet. "But you've worn out your usefulness!" He punched Medusa and destroyed her once and for all...almost...and then walked up to the injured Pit. "How could you do that?" he yelled. "You look like you need help, Pit. Activating the Power of Flight!" said Viridi and Pit's wings started to glow as he picked up the cannon of the Great Sacred Treasure and flew up to finish this. "Thanks, Viridi," Palutena thanked. "Don't thank me yet. Get your heads back in the game!" Viridi replied. "Let's finish this once and for all!" "We're counting on you, young master Pit!" said Arlon.

Music stops and switches to: The War's End (Phase 5)

Pit and Hades readied themselves to finish this and Phase 5, the final phase, of the final battle began. "OK, Pit. I've got a plan," said Palutena. "It'll take some time to pull it off, so just tough it out for a little longer. I'm using my powers to charge up the gun of the Great Sacred Treasure. Once it's fully charged, let loose!" During the battle, Hades attempted to slow Pit down by firing giant lasers to stop him. "What a pest you are!" he yelled. "I fight for all creatures living and breathing," Pit started. "I fight for all departed souls still hanging in limbo. But most of all, I fight for Lady Palutena, the Goddess of Light! And it's in all their names that I will crush you, Lord of the Underworld! I won't let you desecrate another soul!" Suddenly, the cannon was fully charged and ready to fire. "Now! Fire!" Viridi ordered and Pit pulled the trigger to finish of Hades once and for all. "Grrrraaaaah gah!" he yelled. Suddenly, the cannon fired a large laser blast and engulfed Hades in it. "Gwaaaaaaaaaaaa!" he yelled in pain and began to succumb to the blast. He then looked up at Pit as he began to disappear. "It's hard to believe..." he continued with a gasp. "But, you actually got me, Pit. The nerve of you." He then disintegrated into nothing and the cannon stopped firing its powerful laser. Pit then dropped the cannon, did a victory pose, and pulled out a "V" peace sign. "Victory!" he yelled and the "Victory" song played.

Music stops and switches to: Triumph Over Hades

The residents of the town came out of their houses and cheered at Pit's victory and the conclusion of the war. "Listen to those cheers! ...We did it! We saved every living thing! Everywhere!" Pit cheered as he flew up to the sky and above the town. "Not to rain on your parade, but now we're back to the real problem," said Viridi. "What's that?" Pit asked. "Humans! You might live for this adoration, but I'm not fooled by those cheers at all," said Viridi. "Sure, Palutena says that humans are closest to the gods... But SHE can be a real sap sometimes. Why do YOU care so much about them?" "Well, of all living beings, humans are the only ones with 'heart,'" Pit replied. "Uh-uh, not true! All living creatures have an essence that can be described as heart," said Viridi. (A/N: I mean...she's not wrong about that.) "But humans have faith and devotion. That's what I mean by heart," Pit corrected. "Only humans believe in gods... Only humans RESPECT the gods. Just like Lily who respected you, Viridi." "OK, A, you're not a god. And B, are you saying only believers deserve protection?" Viridi questioned. But you did make a good point about Lily, though, she added in thought. "Let him enjoy his moment in the sun. He saved everyone, not just humans," said Palutena. "Augh! Then what's the point of faith and devotion anyway?" Viridi groaned. "Buttering up the gods to get greedy wishes granted?" "That's one way of looking at it, I guess," said Pit and then noticed Dark Pit flying right by him, "...Huh? Pittoo!" and flew right after him. "Hey! Pay attention! I'm talking at you! Palutena, haven't YOU learned anything?" Viridi questioned. "It's true: humans are simple, selfish little creatures who are driven by greed," Palutena admitted. "Sounds a lot like us gods, wouldn't you say?" "No way! Ha ha ha! Nobody could be as selfish as the gods!" Pit laughed. "'Ha ha ha.' That's it—I'm done here. You guys can have your happy ending," Viridi sighed as Pit and Dark Pit flew off into the sunset.

But while the light and dark angels continued to fly, they heard a sinister, yet not so deep, voice. "Not so fast!" he said. This caused Pit and Dark Pit to stop flying. "Huh? Did you hear something?" Pit asked. "I thought a heard a voice," said Dark Pit. But when they waited for the voice to speak again, nothing happened. "Maybe it was just our imagination," Palutena wondered. "I'm not so sure about that..." said Viridi. But just when Pit and Dark Pit were about to continue flying, the voice came up again. "I said...Not. So. FAST!" The light and dark angels didn't have enough time to react as they were kicked in their stomachs HARD, causing them to fly backwards. "AAAAHHHH!" they cried. "Oh no!" Palutena gasped in horror. "Pit!" Viridi cried. "Pittoo!" Phosphora cried. The angels roughly landed in the same strip of land and they strugged to get back up. "Uuuuggghhhh..." they groaned as they slowly got back up on their knees. "Are you okay?" Palutena asked, worried. "What happened?" Viridi asked as well. But before the light and dark angels could answer their questions, they heard someone slow clapping once he landed on the same ground. Pit and Dark Pit lifted their heads up to see where the clapping came from. "Well well well. I must say that I am impressed," said Devil Pit who soon stopped clapping. "You really did a number on Hades, Pit. ...Or should I say...Icarus?" This made everyone shocked and confused about what he just said. "'I-Icarus?' W-Why did you call me that name?" Pit asked. "Oh nothing. But anyways, I'm really proud of you for defeating Hades," Devil Pit replied, but he suddenly stopped. "You know what? No! I'm not going to continue with this façade any longer! Icarus, why don't we cut the fucking act?" Pit looked at Devil Pit with a confused look. "W-What act, Devil Pit?" he asked.

However, after Pit asked the question, his only response was Devil Pit grabbing his neck with his hands, choking him. "A-Ack! I-I can't b-breathe!" the light angel choked out. "Pit!" Dark Pit yelled as he rushed to save the light angel, only to be pushed back from Devil Pit's Pyrokinesis power. He then looked back at Pit with a menacing look in his eyes. "When I said 'cut the act,' I meant to cut the bullshit, Icarus!" he yelled at the choking light angel. "I've been watching you with my own eyes, with my own powers, monitoring your previous missions! You left me behind for the second time, just like the day back at the house many years ago! I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!" "W-Why did y-you call m-me I-Icarus?" Pit asked. Devil Pit stopped choking the angel and slapped him HARD. "OW!" Pit cried. "Icarus is your real name!" said Devil Pit. "You think you would know yourself as 'Pit?' You really are an idiot! Ever since our parents died, I told you to stay put! But instead you entered the machine and left me behind after I was banished from Skyworld!" "W-What are you talking about?" said Pit. "If you want to know about our parents, you need to say my name first!" said Devil Pit. "B-But I thought you already told us your name...?" said Pit. This only gave him another choking hazard by Devil Pit's hands. "A-Ack! L-Let me g-go!" he choked out. "That was my FAKE name!" Devil Pit shouted. "If you didn't refuse my offer, you would've understood my pain a lot more! You are a piece of shit, a disgrace to the whole family, and haven't learned a damn thing!" He then let go of Pit and the angel looked up into the sky. "L-Lady Palutena! D-Do you know what he was talking about?" he asked the Goddess of Light. Palutena decided to come clean after witnessing the Devil's abusive tendencies towards the poor little angel. "Devil Pit was with me before," she started. "I ordered him to defeat Medusa, but he instead disobeyed me and went after someone else." "And who would that be?" Viridi asked. But before Palutena could explain further, Devil Pit interrupted her. "Now you better listen here, fools! I'm not going to let this goddess continue," he said. "Not until this angel says my name!" "B-But-" Pit started but was interrupted by another hard slap from Devil Pit. "OW!" he cried. "Say. My. REAL. Name," said Devil Pit. Pit then slowly looked up at Devil Pit and said something he remembered from the tapes he listened. "Y-Your name is Lucifer," he stuttered. "Y-You are my long lost brother..."

Lucifer smiled at Pit after he heard the light angel say his real name. "So...you DO remember me, brother," he said. "But I'm also disappointed in you about your actions. We would've been the same happy family we once were before. But no. You just HAD to leave me behind the second time!" "Wait? What do you mean by second time?" Viridi asked. "Haven't you realized?" said Lucifer. "Many years ago, back at our old house, he left me behind by entering the machine when he was supposed to stay where I told him. But instead, he didn't listen to me!" Pit was still confused about what Lucifer was talking about. "How would you even know I did something to you?" he asked his brother. Lucifer responded by slapping Pit in the face HARD. "OW!" the angel cried. "Are you stupid?!" Lucifer yelled. "You and I were the only family members left, little brother! If only that event on the day at our house had never happened, none of us would be in this fucking mess!" "Wait? Did you just call Pit 'little brother?'" Viridi wondered. "Aren't you supposed to look like a twin or something like Dark Pit?" "First of all, Dark Icarus is a clone of my brother's dark thoughts and I don't think of him as his 'twin,'" Lucifer explained. "Second, I cannot age up anymore because I was recently banished from Skyworld! I'm not even a clone. I'm Icarus' flesh and blood of the family, but I'm not his twin. I'm actually Icarus' older brother." Everyone was shocked and confused about that. "B-But how are you even my older brother?" Pit asked. "What happened to you?" "Before I tell you exactly everything, I must ask a few questions," Lucifer replied. "Viridi, you should know all of these. Who was the first Goddess of Nature before you? Viridi took her time to think about the questions, but she, including everybody else, didn't seem to have an answer. "Well then, allow me to tell you everything," said Lucifer. "This might be the answer to those questions you seek." A flashback started as Lucifer began to tell everyone his backstory.

It was...38 years ago. Way before Icarus began his adventure to save his goddess from the hands of her sister. Me and Icarus were mortals back in the Overworld. I was the older brother of the family and Icarus was the youngest. We were together as a big happy family with our parents. We all lived in harmony as a family should be. But it didn't last long. During all of this, the Three Goddess Sisters, Palutena, the Goddess of Light, Medusa, the Goddess of Darkness, and Gaia, the First Goddess of Nature, were all attacking each other in the First War of Chaos. It caused so much pain and misery to every single one of us mortals. But it soon got worse when Gaia sent out Reset Bombs to the Overworld. One of them was heading straight for our family at our house. I and Icarus were the only survivors who managed to escape from there, but our parents were killed in the explosion, causing their bodies and souls to disappear. My brother was filled with agony after witnessing the death of them. However, I felt something within my body. I was filled with pain, suffering, guilt, anger, and despair. I wanted revenge on the murderer who killed my parents. Me and my brother couldn't even mourn our parents properly when we buried their graves, because they were disintegrated! Anyway, me and Icarus went back into our abandoned house and entered our father's workshop. There was an unfinished machine in there that allowed one of us to create portals and teleport to their selected destination. Our father was an engineer and loved to build different machines. That was how I got my hands on technology in the first place. Anyway, me and Icarus finished up on the machine until it was fully operational. However, it only has a two max limit of usage. I then set up the coordinates to Palutena's temple, gave Icarus the food to survive, and told him to stay put in order for him to by safe. After that, I entered the portal that opened up and was soon in Palutena's temple. That was where I first met Palutena and became the first captain of her Guard. I was then turned into an angel as a new member of Palutena's Army. I also couldn't fly by myself like my younger brother, because our wings don't even match like the other angel residents. The Goddess of Light then gave me my first weapon for my mission; the Palutena Palm. She ordered me to take down Medusa and sent me to the sky. But instead of going after Medusa as I instructed, I instead went after another goddess. That goddess was of course Gaia. I entered the same Reset Bomb Forest where my parents were killed. But once I entered inside the forest, I was ambushed by the Forces of Nature sent by Gaia. Then I was faced by one of her commanders and my first enemy; Cragalanche. After taking him down, I was sent back by Palutena. She scolded at me for disobeying my orders and I told her that I won't do it again. Unfortunately for her, it was actually a lie. I was then going to Arlon's Lunar Sanctum to take him down and slow down Gaia's forces. But once I arrived at the Lunar Sanctum Control Center, I was face-to-face with an unfamiliar creature as self-defense. Gaia told me that it was the Chaos Kin, her creation of Nature. It killed many different mortals that dared to destroy Nature itself. Even though the Chaos Kin was no joke, I still took it down, along with the control center. However, after I defeated the creature, there was something else I did with it. I corrupted the Chaos Kin to do my bidding and sent it to kill Gaia. After that, I faced against Arlon. However, even though he was defeated, the Lunar Sanctum was still functional, because I didn't exactly kill him fully. To make things even more difficult, the Chaos Kin failed its task to kill Gaia, and was imprisoned in the same Lunar Sanctum. But after I got back to the temple, I realized that Gaia was too powerful to handle. So, I ordered Palutena to take me to Dyntos' workshop. That was where I first met the God of the Forge himself. After passing my three trials, Dyntos created my Three Sacred Treasures; the Sword of Fire, the Flaming Shield, and the Wings of Redness. As you know, using them together made me known as, the Abyss Knight. But after I got the weaponry, I discovered that Gaia set up a barrier around her temple to prevent me from killing her, just like Palutena did at her temple when I corrupted her with the help of my deceased right hand pet. So, I ordered Palutena to send me to Hercules' tower, who you already know him as the Chariot Master after his recent execution. I was heading over to the tower to steal the Heavenly Chariot. Once I reached the top of the tower, I faced against Hercules in the same chariot battle like my younger brother did with his last remains. Anyway, after I defeated Hercules, there was something I did to him. I sent him to the Overworld to test the other humans about their social behavior. After that was then, I used the Heavenly Chariot to bring myself back to Palutena's temple. She realized what I did and was not proud of my actions. But after yelling at me for disobeying my orders, I tackled her to the wall and prevented the other residents to stop me from doing anything. I warned her that if she were to ever stop listening to what I tell her to do, she'll be the next one to die. It was until then, I was ready to face Gaia and end her life once and for all. But Palutena refused to listen to me and I continued to warn her about what I would do to her if she continued like that. I then forced her to take me to Gaia's temple, which was the same temple Icarus and his dark self fought each other three years ago after this. Anyway, I hopped into the Heavenly Chariot, with my weaponry equipped, and took down multiple enemies of the Forces of Nature who tried to stop me. I then broke through the barrier and entered Gaia's temple. It was until I found two statues inside the temple and heard Gaia's voice. She told me that in order to face against her, I must take down her two commanders once again. I didn't waste enough time and took down both Cragalanche and Arlon again. After that, I was ambushed by Gaia's forces again. After taking them down, I faced my number one victim, Gaia, the First Goddess of Nature. We both fought against each other, but I was soon able to take her down. But when, Cragalanche, Arlon, and the little goddess girl arrived, do you know what Gaia's last words were? She said, "Arlon, please...! Take care of my little daughter...!" After that, she died. As you can tell, Viridi is actually Gaia's daughter and now the Second Goddess of Nature. But after I killed my first victim, I felt something within me; a strong sense of pure bloodlust. Because I killed my first god victim, I needed to kill more of them to gain more power! After I got back from Gaia's temple, it was soon abandoned after her death, Palutena was angry at me for what I did. But I told her that the Earth is not yet destroyed, since Viridi will be taking her mother's place. After that, I forced her to send me to the Thunder Cloud Temple, the same temple where Zeus and his family lived. But while I was heading over there, I was ambushed by the Forces of Nature. They wanted payback after I killed their first leader. After I took them down, I entered the temple, only to be ambushed by more of Gaia's army. As I proceeded to the temple, I was sneak attacked by one of Zeus' children. That attack came from Phosphora and she was mad at me for what I did to her brother and Gaia. She tried to take me down, but I still had my weaponry with me. I defeated her and sent her to the Overworld like her brother. I told her that she'll be seeing her brother soon enough. After that, I was soon face-to-face with Zeus, the God of Thunder. But as you can tell, he met the same fate just like Gaia. However, he wasn't actually dead yet. As you already know, he soon helped my younger brother during his journey to save Palutena from the hands of her dark sister, Medusa. After I presumably killed Zeus, Palutena said that I was no longer part of her army and banished from Skyworld and Angel Land forever. This made me enraged and since Palutena didn't listen to my warning, I was soon heading back to Palutena's temple to kill the Goddess of Light. Palutena sent her guard and other angel residents to stop me, but none of them survived since I still had my weaponry. Once I was face-to-face with my Ex-Goddess, I tried to take her down. But it was instead turned out to be a trap and I was chained with shackles, just like what she did to Medusa in her final battle and Viridi did the same thing back at the Chaos Vortex. After that, Palutena used half of her powers to banish me from Skyworld and Angel Land forever. That was the reason why she fought against Icarus and her powers were not exactly strong as you thought. Anyway, I was soon a fallen angel back into the Overworld. When I headed back to my abandoned house, I entered my father's workshop to find my brother. But, when I looked at the spot where Icarus would be at, he was gone. I searched around the house to find him, but then I realized that he entered the machine and left me behind. And because of its max limit of use, the machine is no longer functioning. I ran out of the house in anger and sadness. But when I was about to run into a few mortals, I instead ran right through them. Turns out after I was banished, nobody could see or hear me. I waited for my brother to come back for the next 10 years, but he didn't come back. Suddenly, I saw an unfamiliar woman who saw me even though others couldn't. She was the Goddess of Calamity, Pandora. A hired mercenary in her Amazon form who was tasked to find any malevolent demons and arrest them to the Underworld to be executed. Once she found me, she wanted me to come with her so that I could be executed. I, however, said no and still had my weaponry with me. I used them to take her down and do you know what else I did? I stole her powers to turn her into the flaming blob you once knew before. After I stole her powers, Pandora was teleported back to the Underworld, and I had my unlimited Power of Flight. I tried to fly to Skyworld in order to get my revenge on Palutena, but I couldn't because I was already banished. At first I had nothing else left, but as I walked around the town, I came across something unusual. I found a portal that contained unknown demons from a place called Abyss. They were a reign of demons that used to work with the Underworld Army. They were tasked to capture mortals and make them their slaves, but instead, they killed them right away. One of the mortals they killed was Magnus' child. Because of that, they were exiled form the Underworld and sealed up in the portal where they couldn't escape. Once they noticed me, they saw me as their rightful overlord ruler and boss. They decided to make a deal with me. They can help me to destroy everything if I perform a ritual to open the portal to release them from their prison. What you also do not know is that Abyss also had Reapers. They said that they are helpful to deliver the souls to their reign in order to gain more power. Their leader, the Great Reaper, was responsible for leading their charge of the souls. I accepted the offer, hired the Reapers for the Dark Allies as my spies to collect the souls from the Underworld, and was soon known as the Devil overlord of Abyss. My memories of my past were gone and I was no longer a fallen angel. I... Was... REINCARNATED! 5 years later, I soon came across both the Aurum and the Space Pirates. They said that they were hoping to find a leader for more power. They seek the same goal to destroy everything in this universe. I accepted their offer and they joined me for the Dark Allies clan. I also gave the Space Pirates my Three Sacred Treasures for safe keeping. After that, both armies went to their bases to begin the plan. 5 years later after that, I encountered Emperor Nero and his army. Because of what they did to Zeus children and failed their test, I executed them with Nero's weapon one by one. Talk about instant Karma for them. I stole their souls after I killed them for the ritual to open the portal. I then sent them into a dark purgatory for safe keeping, which was also where I kept the souls of Gaia and Zeus. 15 years later, before Icarus was about to take off to begin his next adventure, it was finally time to put my master plan into action. I used Pyrokinesis to burn the entire forest to the ground to begin the Secondary War of Chaos, where Palutena's Army, Viridi's Forces of Nature, and Hades' Underworld Army would come together to face against each other in an all out war. But while I was busy with the beginning of my destruction, I was caught red handed by mortals and a little mutt. I murdered that little girl's parents and ran away from my crime. But then, I was captured by Thanatos and Pandora to temporarily stop me from continuing my plans. And of course, you all know what happened after that...

"WHAT?!" everyone shouted after Lucifer finished his backstory. Nobody could even say anything else after the biggest truth that Lucifer said to all of them. It was until the Devil decided to break the silence. "So, it looks like you fools finally figured out the whole truth! HAHAHAHA!" he laughed, but it was soon cut short when Pit tackled him to the ground. That caught everyone off guard. "I see that you're more tough than I thought you were," Lucifer continued. "I only saw you like an immature coward, brother." "Why did you do this to all of the innocents?!" Pit yelled in anger and sadness. "Why did you even kill Viridi's mother?!" He then looked up into the sky. "Lady Palutena! Why did you keep this secret from me?!" he continued. "Why did you conceal the identity of my REAL family?!" Nobody still couldn't say anything about the dark truth. Viridi soon started to cry about all of this. "L-L-Little daughter..." she sobbed. "I...am Gaia's...daughter..." "You're not the Goddess of Nature, Viridi," said Lucifer. "You're the Second Goddess of Nature." Viridi looked at the Devil and yelled at the top of her lungs, "YOU... YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!" The sound of her yelling caused a massive earthquake. "Hey! She was the one responsible for killing my parents!" Lucifer countered. "Mistress Viridi, please calm down!" Arlon spoke, trying to comfort Viridi, but it wasn't doing any good. "CALM DOWN?!" Viridi yelled again. "HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN BECAUSE OF THIS MONSTER?!" "Tell me, Icarus, how did you even start to know about my real identity and what I did to your friends?" Lucifer asked. "I heard your name in the the last two tapes," Pit answered. "The first one was Lady Palutena arguing about what you did and the second was you talking about me as your brother." "Wait. How did you even know about all of that right now?" Phosphora asked. "That's because those tapes were my audio logs," Lucifer explained. "For your information, the last tape was prerecorded the day you left me behind the second time, Icarus." "Tell me! Why did you kill my mother?!" Viridi yelled. "First of all... Icarus, let go of me and I'll explain," Lucifer ordered. Pit hesitated for a while before releasing his brother from his grasp and stepped back. Lucifer stood back up after that little scuffle between him and his younger brother. "I killed Gaia because of what she did to my parents," he explained. "Perhaps Palutena can explain it a whole lot better than I can. I've already given you enough information about what I did." Palutena sighed as she began to explain the reason. "It was all a lie about what I said from Pit's recent missions, including his own life," she explained. "Gaia was a good sister, along with Medusa. I was the youngest of the sisters, and we were all happy to have a new baby goddess for the group." "Wait... Are you saying that the baby was...?" Viridi started. "Yes, it was you, Viridi," Palutena continued. "But things took a turn for the worst. Hades first invaded Angel Land and captured Medusa. All I had left was Gaia, but after her death, I didn't know what to do next. But then, I found Pit as a human after I banished his older brother. I raised him like the mother he never had after his parents' death, just like Arlon who raised Viridi like a father before she grew up to be the second leader of the Forces of Nature. Pit also grew up to be an angel and just like his brother; he couldn't fly either. He protected me, Angel Land, and all of mankind. But ever since the death of Gaia and Zeus, I couldn't even bear to tell Pit the truth about what I did to his brother because of the crimes he committed to my sister and Zeus. When I first saw Lucifer again, I was shocked to see him after what he did to my sister, and when Pit and Dark Pit were in the same temple Gaia was killed, I was traumatized. When I also heard Lucifer's voice from those audio logs, I couldn't even think properly because I knew he would make his return after he escaped. I thought I could make all of our lives better without there being any tensions because of the Secondary War of Chaos. But... I failed." Everyone gasped about all of that now. "P-Palutena..." Viridi started. "Since...Gaia was my mother, a-are you and Medusa...my aunts?" Palutena sighed, hesitant to answer the question, before she said, "Yes...we are..." This made Viridi sob even harder than before. "Now tell me, did you really believe that the Underworld Army was responsible for the entire forest to be burnt the ground?" Lucifer started. "And what about you, Viridi? Did you honestly think it was the humans that did that?" "Wait...are you saying that it was...?!" Pit started. "Yes. It was all me," said Lucifer. "I was the one who caused the Secondary War of Chaos to begin. I'm the true mastermind behind everything." "Do you have any idea what kind of problems we've been through?!" Palutena shouted. "You killed my sister! The temple you faced both Pit and Dark Pit on was abandoned because of you!" "So THAT explains why that temple we were in was abandoned!" Dark Pit growled. "You killed my father, my brother, and even myself!" Phosphora added. "Innocent lives have been murdered by your own hands!" Pit yelled out. "I cannot even forgive you for what you've done to me and my friends. Even Lady Palutena!" "You all should know about what Gaia did to my entire fucking family!" Lucifer yelled. "Worst of all, you ruined my life, ruined my plans, and even made me fail the ritual...TWICE!" "Wait...twice?" Pit wondered. "The first ritual required help, since I still had the souls of Gaia and Zeus," Lucifer explained. "That's why I asked you to help me, Icarus. But since you refused my offer, that ritual could not be fulfilled and I had no choice but to let Zeus and Gaia go. As for the second ritual, I planned to use Palutena's soul, along with a few other mortal souls, even Emperor Nero's and his empire's souls as well, to open the portal and unleash the powerful demons. But as of right now, that ritual failed. And as for Emperor Nero, I devoured their souls whole to make me powerful, since I no longer needed them anymore. However, I instead have a backup plan." "Backup plan?" Dark Pit wondered. "Tell me, Icarus, do these look familiar to you?" Lucifer asked as he pulled out the Three Sacred Treasures Case. After he opened it, the Arrow of Light, the Mirror Shield, and the Wings of Pegasus came out of the case and flew around Lucifer. "The Three Sacred Treasures?!" Pit gasped. "How did you get your hands on them again?" Palutena asked in shock. "I thought they were destroyed by Hades!" "After your failure in defeating Hades the first time, I entered his domain and found the pieces of this weaponry," Lucifer explained. "I then used my powers to repair them. But these are not the only things I'll be using." He then took out the Sword of Fire, the Flaming Shield, and the Wings of Redness from their case and they flew around him. "Not those again!" Pit gasped in horror. "Oh, but it gets even better!" said Lucifer. "These are also going to be useful for my backup plan!" Suddenly, the pieces of the Great Sacred Treasure began to levitate around Lucifer. "What are you doing?!" Arlon exclaimed. "I'm getting everything ready to begin my backup plan!" Lucifer replied. "These Sacred Treasures are going to be useful to open the Abyss portal and then I will achieve my ultimate form!" "Ultimate form?" Phosphora wondered. "Thanks to Icarus for defeating Hades, it's time for my backup plan to be unleashed!" Lucifer continued. "None of you are going to stop me now!" "You can't do this!" Pit yelled. "You have to stop!" "Stop? Oh nononono," Lucifer responded as he waved his finger. "It's too late because my backup plan has just started! Now, witness the almighty power of Abyss, and bow down to your rightful ruler of the new world we wish to create! It's time to unleash my ultimate power! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Lucifer flew above the ocean and focused his ultimate power yet. His body and the Sacred Treasures started to glow. Suddenly, the Sacred Treasures dove down, nearly touching the water, and spun around, creating a giant portal from below the surface. "What's happening?!" Pit gasped in horror. "I'm sensing something really strong from Lucifer!" Palutena exclaimed. "He's using his ultimate power yet! Pit, you have to stop him!" "Right!" Pit affirmed. "Viridi! Let me fly to stop Lucifer!" "You got it! Activating the Power of Flight!" said Viridi and Pit's wings started to glow and he flew to Lucifer in an attempt to stop him, only to be pushed back from Lucifer's Pyrokinesis power. "Argh!" he cried. "You cannot stop me from destroying the universe this time!" said Lucifer. "Rise my demons from Abyss! Come out from your prison and destroy everything to create our new world!" As if on queue, multiple unknown demons came out of the opened portal, flew above the light and dark angels, and entered the nearby town. All of the townsfolk screamed in terror once the demons started invading it. "Oh no!" Pit cried. "They're attacking the entire world, and there's too many of them!" Dark Pit exclaimed. While the light and dark angels looked at the destruction in terror, Pit saw three familiar humans along with a familiar dog running up to the angels. "Magnus! Gaol! Lily! Trent!" Pit exclaimed as he saw them again. "Angel face! What's going on?!" yelled Magnus. "There are so many demons around our world and they were the same ones that killed my child!" "Yeah! I would've stopped them if it wasn't for the Underworld Army getting in my way!" said Gaol. "Wait a minute! I thought Lady Palutena told me that it was the Underworld that did that," said Pit. "That was a lie!" said Lucifer. "The Underworld was framed by those demons before they were exiled! The Underworld wanted the mortals as their slaves and then execute them once they're useless to them, while the Abyss wanted to kill them instantly. Now that they're free, nothing in this universe can stop us!" Then Lily came up close to Lucifer slowly but surly. "What have you done to us?!" she yelled. "First you killed my mommy and daddy, then a lot more innocent people, and now you sent a horde of monsters to destroy our peaceful world!" "This universe doesn't need to live on anymore!" said Lucifer. "Everyone will die here and after we destroy the entire universe, we will spread chaos throughout the other universes! Once we destroy all of them, the new world will be ours to rule!" "Lucifer! You have to stop!" Pit yelled. "If you don't end this entire madness, all of us are going to die! What would our mom and dad think about this?!" "You don't get to decide the orders here, Icarus!" Lucifer yelled back. "In fact, I had enough of your words. Get ready, because it's time to bring out my ultimate form!" Suddenly, different souls came out of the portal and flew around Lucifer. "What are you doing with those souls?!" Pit exclaimed in horror. "Those are the souls that were killed by the Abyss and executed by the Underworld!" Palutena exclaimed. "This is not good!" "You're right! These souls that were killed by the Abyss were taken to their base thanks to the Reapers," Lucifer explained. "The Underworld wasn't the only hellscape managing the souls." "Wait! How come the Reapers were from Abyss in the first place?" Pit wondered. "Wanting to work with the Underworld was a ruse," Lucifer continued. "Now, enough talk! Prepare to meet your end! Your doom awaits!" Lucifer dove down into the portal and the souls, along with the Sacred Treasures, began to fuse within him. He later came out of the portal to reveal his most twisted and terrifying form anybody has ever seen. His body had been grown and fully molded, his eyes fueled with hunger, and his teeth were really really sharp. "What is THAT?!" Pit gasped. "I AM IN MY ULTIMATE FORM MANKIND HAS EVER SEEN!" the monster roared. "I AM THE ULTIMATE GOD WHO WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING WITHIN THIS INSUFFERABLE UNIVERSE! I AM DEMON PIT! THE GOD OF DAMNATION!" Everyone was both in shock and terror to see the most vile monster in the world. But then, Pit stood up. "I will not let you complete your master plan, Lucifer!" he yelled. "It's time to end all of this NOW!" Then, he flew up to Demon Pit to stop all of this. "Pit! No!" Palutena cried, worried that the angel would get hurt.

Pit flew up to Demon Pit, with Viridi's Power of Flight activated and the Palutena Bow still equipped with him, to stop this madness once and for all as Demon Pit readied himself to begin Phase 1 of the true final battle. Demon Pit started the fight by spawning fire beams from the ground and Pit barely avoided them. "Let me get up close and personal with you, brother!" boomed Demon Pit. "So that I can burn you into cinders, or squash you like a giant Overworld bug!" He then unleashed powerful blows from his fists to deal big damage and slammed his feet down to stomp on him, but Pit still prevailed and avoided the attacks. "Do you have any idea why I fight?" Pit asked. "Then tell me, Icarus, why do you fight to protect humanity?!" said Demon Pit. "I fight for everyone against evil who dares to hurt all of the innocents!" Pit started. "Hades may have been destructive and power hungry to feast on souls! But you?! You just wanted to destroy everything and not only eat souls, but also human corpses after killing them! Your bloodlust rage is much worse than Hades! For that reason, it is my destiny to defeat you once and for all!" "I'd like to see you try, brother!" Demon Pit yelled and he spewed powerful flames from his mouth to attack Pit. Pit barely avoided the attacks, but he was hit by the powerful flame. "Ouch! I-I'm burning alive!" he cried in pain. "HOT HOT HOT HOT!" "Are you inflicted with Burn again?" Viridi asked. "It's much worse. It's called Dire Burn," said Demon Pit. "It's much faster and takes more time than regular Burn. You're nothing compared to my powers! I will burn you to a crisp and then your friends will meet the same demise!" "Not today, Lucifer!" Pit yelled. "It's time for you to atone for your crimes." "Are you really doing it again?" Palutena sighed. "I am Pit, servant of the Goddess of Light!" Pit continued before preparing a charged shot. "And you. Are. History!" He then fired a charged at Demon Pit to stun him. "Ouch! My face!" he yelled in pain. "Now to finish this once and for all!" Pit exclaimed and flew straight to the monster. He then attacked Demon Pit with a melee combo to finish him. "Argh!" he yelled. "Is it over?" Pit wondered. But the only answer to his question was Demon Pit laughing, "Hahahahahaha!" "Hey! What's so funny?" Pit questioned. "Attacking me with your puny weapon like Hades the first time? How crude and ineffective," Demon Pit responded. "I prefer to use the dark and honest truth whenever possible. Icarus, you are such a disgrace to our family name. Nothing more than a piece of shit who left his own brother behind twice in a row. The same fate will soon be held on you just like what happened to me all those years ago!" Before Pit could react, Demon Pit clasp his hands on the angel in a strong grip. "PIT!" Viridi cried. Demon Pit then let go of the angel. The impact of the powerful strike knocked Pit unconscious and he fell to the ground HARD. "No! Pit, wake up!" Palutena cried. "Come on, Pit! Palutena, let my fly to stop this monster!" Dark Pit ordered. "What?! No! I can't!" said Palutena. "It's too dangerious. You'll get yourself hurt like your original self! Just-" "DO IT NOW!" Dark Pit boomed. "O-Okay!" Palutena reluctantly complied and activated her Power of Flight. Dark Pit flew up to Demon Pit, with his Dark Pit Staff equipped, to avenge his original counterpart and Demon Pit readied himself to begin Phase 2 of the true final battle. Dark Pit started it off by fire a big charged shot at Demon Pit's face to deal big damage. "Argh! My fucking face again!" he yelled. "You will pay for what you did to all of us!" Dark Pit shouted. "You nearly killed your own brother and stole Palutena's soul with the Chaos Kin for your ritual! I cannot allow you to cause more destruction with your demonic minions!" "All I wanted was to see my whole family back together again, ever since Gaia killed my parents!" Demon Pit yelled back. "The new world must belong to the rightful rulers!" "Then who are even the other 'rightful rulers' besides you anyway?" Dark Pit questioned. "Their identities are yet to be revealed just yet," Demon Pit replied. "How about I get rid of all of you before you can even try to figure them out?" "I will not let that happen!" said Dark Pit. "You will pay dearly for murdering so many innocents! TAKE THIS!" He then fired more shots at Demon Pit and then did another melee combo to slow him down and finish him. "That smarts!" he yelled. "Had enough, 'Ultimate God?'" said Dark Pit. "Hah! You took a lot of damage on me, but it's still not enough," Demon Pit scoffed. "It's time for me to get rid of you, Dark Icarus. You are a nobody with no soul inside of you. If you're original counterpart dies, so do you! You will no longer feel or see anything once this is all over." He then clasped his hands on the dark angel in a strong grip. "No! PITTOO!" Phosphora cried. Demon Pit then released his grip from Dark Pit. The impact knocked him unconscious and he fell to the ground HARD. Suddenly, Viridi and Phosphora quickly teleported to the angels' crashing spot and picked up their unconscious bodies. "No...! This can't be happening!" Viridi cried over Pit's body. "They...they can't die lie this!" Phosphora sobbed over Dark Pit's body. "Aw. Don't cry right now, arch-enemies," said Demon Pit. "Don't even worry about my brother and his clone, because they're not technically dead yet. They're unconscious. But don't worry, you'll be joining them soon enough." Viridi looked up at Demon Pit with anger fueled in her eyes. "You! You nearly killed the most beautiful angel in my life!" she yelled. This caught everyone off guard. "Why do you even care about my brother?" Demon Pit asked. "You nearly tried to kill him three years ago." "Because I helped him during the time you unleashed the Chaos Kin to destroy everything!" Viridi continued. "Ever since I took him to my temple, he had a lot of nightmares. I took care of him and kept him company whenever he needed. But now, I'm going to lose him because of YOU! I will not let that happen. Not again!" This made Palutena shocked. She...cared about Pit? she thought to herself. I wonder if what I teased was true...? Viridi suddenly took out her staff and began to levitate. "I will end you once and for all, Lucifer!" she yelled and flew up towards Demon Pit. "Mistress Viridi! Wait!" Phosphora called, but it was too late and Viridi was already flying in front of Demon Pit and readied herself, while the God of Damnation readied himself as well, to begin Phase 3 of the true final battle. Demon Pit prepared himself to release another fiery breath from his mouth. "Don't think I'm not prepared for situations like that, Lucifer!" she yelled and rose different vines around her as a Nature Shield right before Demon Pit released his fire breath at her. After the fire went out, Viridi lowered the vines, only for Demon Pit to grab her quickly. "Ack! Let me go!" she yelled. "How about I crush your insides so that you can feel the pain?" Demon Pit replied as he began to crush Viridi in a tight squeeze. "N-Not if I have anything to s-say about it!" said Viridi. "Children! S-Stop that monster!" Suddenly, the Forces of Nature appeared around Demon Pit and attacked him to release their leader from his grasp. "Damn it!" he yelled. "Now dodge this, murderer!" Viridi cried and summoned multiple vines at the God of Damnation to slow him down. But it wasn't enough and Demon Pit used his Pyrokinesis to burn them down. He also burned down all of the Forces of Nature around him. Since Viridi is connected to Nature itself, she started to feel pain from the death of the vines and her forces. "I grew weary of you, daughter of my parents' murderer," said Demon Pit. "You let my brother live instead of killing him, since you used to despise humans, just like your mother. If your mother didn't kill my parents all those years ago, none of this would've ever happened. All of this is your fault." This made Viridi cry. "N-No! You're lying!" she yelled. "My mom always took care of me, just like Palutena did for Pit, before you took her life away! You're nothing more than a monster!" "You should've warned your enemies about my plans when you had the chance before I arrived at the Lunar Sanctum," Demon Pit continued. "But instead, you let me free my right hand pet from its prison. You think you're wise, but you're just like your own mother. A GODDAMNED COWARD!" He then clasped his hands on the goddess in a strong grip. "MISTRESS!" Phosphora cried. Demon Pit then released Viridi from his grasp. The impact knocked her unconscious and she fell to the ground HARD. "Mistress Viridi!" Arlon cried as he teleported to the same crashing spot. He then scooped up Viridi's unconscious body in his arms. "N-Not again!" he cried. Phosphora soon looked at Demon Pit with anger and sadness in her eyes. "You DARE to hurt my mistress, monster?!" she yelled. "You will pay for that! I will end you with whatever I got!" She then flew up to stop Demon Pit. "Miss Phosphora! No!" Arlon warned, but it was too late. Phosphora and Demon Pit soon readied themselves to begin Phase 4 of the true final battle. "Let's see if you can keep up with me, Phosphora!" said Demon Pit as he released powerful blows from his fists, only for the Lightning Nymph to quickly dodge them. "Not bad! But let's see if you can dodge THIS!" Demon Pit yelled as he released fire beams from the ground to attack Phosphora. "Let's try this!" said Phosphora as she used Electrokinesis to block the fire beams. "Hah! How do you like that, Lucifer?" she boomed. "I'm just getting started," said Demon Pit. "Try escaping THIS!" As soon as he said that, Demon Pit quickly grabbed Phosphora in a tight squeeze! "Ergh...! Don't t-think I'm slow for that!" said Phosphora. "In fact, I c-can do...THIS!" She quickly flew below Demon Pit's fist and attacked with electric strikes. "Youch!" Demon Pit yelled in pain. "I had enough with the daughter of the god I killed. You know, I'm curious why you didn't stop Icarus from defeating your brother's last remains." "I didn't know about that because he was already dead!" said Phosphora. "All he wanted was a fair fight from Pit. Now he's resting in peace like my father." "You didn't let yourself stop Icarus from defeating Hercules' last remains," Demon Pit continued. "But don't worry. You'll be meeting your family again sometime soon." He then clasped his hands on Phosphora in a strong grip. The impact knocked Phosphora out cold. Demon Pit then released her and she fell to the ground HARD. "Oh no!" Palutena gasped after she teleported to the disaster. There she saw Pit, Dark Pit, Viridi, and Phosphora all unconscious. "This can't be!" Arlon cried. "It's hopeless! We have lost all of our warriors!" Demon Pit slowly walked up to the area with a sinister smile.

"Now, time to finish this!" said Demon Pit as he looked at the Goddess of Light. "Palutena. This is the only dark and honest truth for you. You couldn't save any one of your allies from my grasp and you won't undo what I did to them. You also couldn't save your sister and stopped me when you had the chance." "I know I couldn't save my sister. But you couldn't save your parents either during the First War of Chaos," said Palutena. "You can say whatever you want, but it's not going to work in hurting me." "And what makes you say that, Palutena?" Demon Pit asked. "You've taken everything away from me," Palutena continued. "But... We can make sure that there won't be anymore problems from anyone!" She then focused her powers deeply and Demon Pit noticed something. Pit, Dark Pit, Viridi, and Phosphora started floating and suddenly, they woke up and saw that everything was still in complete chaos. "We're...we're alive!" Pit cried. "Y-yeah...can't believe he did something strong against us," Dark Pit grunted as he struggled to get back up. "But how are we even going to win?" Viridi asked. "Yeah. Lucifer's too strong!" Phosphora agreed. "There is only one thing we can do together!" said Palutena. "We must come together to face off Lucifer together. He may be strong, but when we are together, we are stronger!" "But...but what about the demons?!" Pit asked, worried. "Don't worry. I can send my army, along with the fighters from our Light vs. Dark and Free-for-All matches, to stop them," said Palutena. "I'll also call my forces to stop them, too," Viridi added. "Great! But I don't think we're going to fight against Lucifer like this," said Pit. "We need more allies." "Then allow us to help you, boy," said a familiar voice. Our heroes turned around to see familiar figures walking up to them. They were Poseidon, Cragalanche, Thanatos, Amazon Pandora, Pyrrhon, and Dyntos. They all came together to defeat Demon Pit once and for all. "Hey! It's you guys again!" Pit exclaimed. "We heard about this monster making his powerful return," said Poseidon. "I brought them all together to finish this," said Dyntos. "Oh. You again," said Demon Pit. "You've just made a big mistake bringing them all here. Your end is going to be dreadful once I destroy the entire universe!" "You will pay for slaughtering so many innocent people and killing my brother, Zeus!" Poseidon boomed. "Uncle..." Phosphora started. "You know, it's actually pretty funny since you sunk an entire city and you didn't stop Pit from killing your other brother, Hades," said Demon Pit. "Yeah? Well Hades wouldn't go so far in corrupting a god to do their bidding or cause mass destruction on the whole universe!" said Pyrrhon. Cragalanche's eyes glowed in anger to show his agreement against Demon Pit. "Lord Hades may have ate souls for more power, but I don't think he would stoop so low in destroying the entire UNIVERSE!" said Thanatos. "Thanatos is right. In fact, we captured you and sealed you up in the Mirror of Truth three years ago after witnessing your murderous crime on an innocent girl's parents!" said Amazon Pandora. "Yes, we're aware that it was Pit's fault for setting you free, but he wouldn't even know about it in the first place. Neither could Palutena." "So for your crimes you did to innocent civilians in the Overworld and the gods you slayed with your murder weapons, it is our destiny to defeat you once and for all!" said Dyntos. Everybody else nodded in agreement and faced their final foe. "This is the end for you, Lucifer!" Pit yelled. "If you wish to defeat me and end the entire madness. THEN SO BE IT!" Demon Pit yelled.

Suddenly, Demon Pit roared a very scary roar and something happened to him. He suddenly sprung out two more arms from either side, gigantic horns came out from the top of his head, and a third eye opened up from his forehead. This was his second form. He then roared again as loud as he could. "HE'S CHANGED AND IT IS HIDEOUS!" Pit yelled in shock. "This must be his second form!" Palutena gasped in shock. But then, everyone noticed something else happening to Demon Pit. He started to shake and something came out of his body. Actually, three things came out and flew straight to Pit. "The Three Sacred Treasures!" he exclaimed. "Time to equip them one last time to finish this!" He then equipped his weaponry once again. "Alright! Let's rock and roll!" he yelled, determined to end this. "You may have gotten your weaponry again, but I'm just getting started for my final plan," said Demon Pit. Suddenly, he flew up into the sky. "Catch me if you can, brother!" he yelled. "You're not getting away from me this time!" Pit yelled back. "Come on, team! Let's finish this to conclude the war for good this time!" Everybody else nodded and they all flew up into the sky to finish Demon Pit once and for all. "Good luck, angel face!" Magnus cheered. "You got this, angel! Do this for all of us!" Gaol added. "We're counting on you, Pit!" Lily added. Trent barked in agreement.

Everyone flew to where Demon Pit was waiting. "End of the line, Lucifer!" said Pit. "Your business for pure bloodlust ends here!" said Palutena. "Our forces are already busy dealing with your Abyssal army!" said Viridi. "Once we're done with you, you will join your demonic minions into the so-called 'Abyss!'" "Then let's settle this in our climatic finale!" said Demon Pit and everyone readied themselves to begin Phase 5, the final phase, of the true final battle to end the war, for real. Demon Pit started the fight by using aerial attacks by swooping down at his enemies to deal massive damage. Pit fired Arrows of Light to temporarily stun him. "Take that, Lucifer!" he yelled. "Not bad, but let's see if you can dodge THESE!" Demon Pit yelled back and used his six arms to deal more blows. The amount of damage depends on how many arms is hit from one of his enemies. Everyone dodged them all to avoid the devastating attacks. He then spewed his fiery breath from his mouth at Pit, who barely avoided it. Palutena then sent a plethora of Projectiles at Demon Pit to slow him down and he received some damage. When Demon Pit tried to attack her again with fire beams, Palutena set up a Reflect Barrier to block those attacks and send them back at him. "Damn it!" Demon Pit yelled. "Now try dodging this!" Palutena said and summoned an Explosive Flame at Demon Pit. This gave him a lot of damage. "That smarts! But I'm still flying to stop all of you!" Demon Pit roared. Poseidon then used his powers to launch giant waves from the sea and splash them at Demon Pit with full force to deal massive damage. "You will pay for killing my brother I grew up with!" he boomed. "Hades may have been such a bad brother by leading the Underworld Army to cause trouble, but you are much worse! Unlike Hades, you only care about mass murder. We won't let that happen!" Phosphora then used her electric powers to summon powerful storm clouds to cause lightning and deal damage to the monster. "I'm with Uncle Poseidon here!" she said. "You killed my mother and father. Sure, Uncle Hades was such a lowlife to eat souls, but with you killing everyone and devouring their souls for more power while destroying the entire universe?! That's morbid! We will finish you!" Viridi then summoned vines from below and they stabbed Demon Pit through his abdomen temporarily. She then used her powers to make the vines grow thorns from all sides and stabbed Demon Pit profusely. "I will avenge my mother you ruthlessly murdered, Lucifer!" Viridi yelled. "You must be stopped for committing a massacre on our universe!" She then forcefully pulled the vines out from Demon Pit to deal massive damage. "Ouch! My insides!" he yelled. Cragalanche then summoned large rocks around him and threw them at Demon Pit's face to temporarily stun him. "Not again!" Demon Pit yelled in pain. Cragalanche then charged at the God of Damnation and delivered powerful punches to deal big damages. His eyes glowed in anger to show that he must defeat his enemy he faced 38 years ago. "That's enough! It's time to burn you into cinders!" Demon Pit shouted and then released fire beams at his enemies, but was then blinded by Arlon's dim lightning attacks. "Argh! I can't see!" Demon Pit yelled. "You ruthlessly murdered my Lady Gaia and I will do anything to protect her only daughter and mistress!" Arlon boomed. "Mistress Viridi has grown to be a strong warrior and I intend to let her continued to be strong! But as long as young master Pit and his friends, along with the mistress' other commanders, are with her by her side, she will always fight to protect everyone!" This only made Demon Pit growl and attempted to spew his fiery breath at Viridi, only to be blocked by Pyrrhon's attacks and push the fiery breath back at Demon Pit. "Damn it!" he yelled. "You caused the Aurum to destroy and gather different parts of the Earth, and for that, you must pay! Time to deliver justice upon you and your villainous ways!" Dyntos summoned copies of all the enemies and allies Pit had during his missions and they all charged at Demon Pit. "What the?" he gasped as he was soon pummeled by all of Dyntos' creations. "You disobeyed your goddess' orders all those years ago, and you used your Three Sacred Treasures for mass murder!" Dyntos yelled. "You will pay your crimes for corrupting humans and gods. We will not let you kill another innocent soul!" Thanatos shapeshifted into a glow dragon and rammed into Demon Pit at high speeds for big damage. He hit him multiple times as the God of Damantion tried to stop him. "Ouch!" Demon Pit yelled in pain. "You've become a bad boy and must be punished for running away from your prison!" said Thanatos. "Lord Hades and Queen Medusa couldn't stop you because you were already gone from the Underworld. As one of your jailers, it is my duty to stop you from committing a massacre!" Amazon Pandora first stunned Demon Pit with her bombs and then attacked with a melee combo at him. "You've been very naughty for running away like that," she said. "You need to be taught a lesson in manners. We'll be the ones to do that!" Palutena continued to rain down light spears at Demon Pit and other powerful attacks to slow him down. "This is for disobeying my orders all those years ago, Ex-Captain of my guard!" she yelled. "You ruined so many innocent lives! Humans, gods, even your own brother! I cannot allow you to continued any longer! You have to be stopped!" Dark Pit used his Silver Bow to fire different arrows at Demon Pit and then a melee attack to slow him down. "Stopping us from ruining your plans is one thing. But committing a massacre on our world with demons is unacceptable!" he yelled. "We will not let you hurt any more victims of yours! This will be the end for you!" Finally, Pit flew up to his demonic brother, fired different Arrows of Light at him, and then unleashed special attacks to slow him down. "You will pay for all the chaos you caused in the entire universe!" he yelled. "I never wanted any of this to happen! I wish you were the same brother you once were back when our parents were still alive, but now, I don't see you as the brother I once knew and loved. You are a monster. A ruthless and heartless monster! Violence isn't the way to bring our family back! We could've found another way to settle this peacefully, but you instead destroyed the only thing I had between the both of us! My heart! You ruined MANY lives. Ours, the humans, gods, ALL OF US! For that reason, it is my destiny to defeat you once and for all! With the help of my friends, my allies, everyone by my side, WE WILL FINISH YOU!" "YOU ARE ALL SO STUBBORN!" Demon Pit yelled in anger. "YOU RUINED MY PLANS, MY LIVES, AND TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY FROM ME! IF I CANNOT LIVE ANOTHER LIFE ANY LONGER, THEN NEITHER WILL YOU ALL! SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR MISERABLE EXISTENCE!" He then prepared his most devastating attack yet. "PREPARE TO BE BURNED TO CINDERS, IMMORTALS!" Everyone else readied their most powerful attacks as well. Pit readied his Arrows of Light, Palutena readied her Black Hole Laser, Dark Pit readied his Dark Pit Staff charge shot, Viridi readied her Solar Beam, Phosphora readied her Electrokinesis attack, Arlon readied his dark powers, Cragalanche readied his gigantic stones to threw at his enemy, Poseidon readied his massive water wave attack, Pyrrhon readied his Pyro Blaster, Thanatos readied his gigantic boulder he formed to launch at Demon Pit, Amazon Pandora readied her bombs to attack Demon Pit, and Dyntos readied his powerful strike of his forge. As soon as Demon Pit unleashed a gigantic fiery beam, everyone else attacked as well with their powerful attacks yet. The attacks created a powerful shockwave, but with Demon Pit's foes all together, their attacks are combined to be one powerful blast. The blast soon disintegrated and our heroes' powerful attacks defeated Demon Pit. "AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!" he yelled in pain and tumbled down to the ocean.

Everybody landed back on land as they watched their enemy sink down into the water below and into the portal. The souls from his body came out of him and went back into the portal. They also noticed something else flying from up above. The demons were retreating from the town and back into the portal they came from. The portal finally closed up again and the demons were sealed there for all eternity. "Yeah! We did it!" Pit cheered. "We saved the town, the humans, and the whole universe!" "I'm glad it's all over. Now we can all take a break," Palutena sighed in relief. "Now that our REAL enemy is finally gone, what do you think we should do now?" Viridi asked. "I think we should go back home and rest," Palutena offered. "We all deserved it after our tough battle against Lucifer and his entire army." Everybody else nodded in agreement, but just when they were about to leave, they heard a sinister laugh. "Hehehehehe... Don't think you have won the war just yet," he said, menacingly. "Oh no!" Pit gasped. Everybody turned around back to the ocean and Lucifer came out of the water. "How are you still alive?!" Phosphora exclaimed. "Didn't we defeat you already?!" "You fools have ruined everything!" Lucifer shouted. "But I've had enough of you. Since you guys have been such adversaries, I saved my most deadliest form of them all just for you. Sacrificer Form... ACTIVATE!" Suddenly, he started to change his look. His wings glowed bright, bloody red, his skin darkened to a crisp, crimson red, and his eyes glowed bright yellow. "This will be our last meeting here, Icarus!" he continued. "So you better prepare your final breath of fresh air and words of your remaining afterlife before I fly down to the core of the universe and destroy it to nothingness!" "WHAT?! NO! You can't!" Pit shouted. "So many innocent lives will be lost!" "I know...hmhmhmhmhm..." Lucifer chuckled, sinisterly. "Farewell, Icarus. It was nice to see you again. HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He then flew up into space, while laughing ruthlessly, to destroy the universe. "NOOOOOOOO!" Pit cried.

Lucifer continued to fly into space until he was all the way to the top. He then looked down at the Earth. "Say goodbye to your miserable existence, mortals and immortals!" he yelled and began to charge up his form to full power before he could fly down to the core of the universe and destroy it. "Oh no! What's going on now?!" Gaol gasped. "Is this going to be the end for all of us?" Soon enough, Pit and his allies ran up to the humans and dog. "Hey guys. We have to protect the humans away from this imminent danger," said the angel. "How's the evacuation going?" Magnus looked back at all of the humans in the town and said, "Not good, angel face. We've only just rounded up everyone ready to evacuate the town. But I don't think we have enough time to escape before that monster destroys us all!" "This isn't going to go well for us. First we saved all the humans from those Abyss demons, but now we only got them in danger once again thanks to my evil brother," Pit sighed. He then turned to Palutena. "Hey, Lady Palutena," he continued. "I know you and Viridi can teleport the humans to a safer place quickly. Do you think...?" "I'm sorry, Pit, but we can't," Palutena sighed. "Our powers are limited when we teleport humans from a short distance." "And besides, even if we could, we wouldn't have the power to warp all of us out of the town to safety," Viridi added. "If only we had taken the powers from that monster before he flew up in his Sacrificer Form." "This is just great!" Pit sighed in defeat. "Now what are we going to do?" Pit thought for a moment about what to do for the situation, but then, he realized something. "Wait! We still have the Daybreak Pieces!" he exclaimed. "We can use it to slow him down!" Pit took out one of the pieces and Palutena and Viridi took out the other two. "Let's do it!" said the Goddess of Light. The three of them soon combined the Daybreak together to form the weapon itself. "Alright! Now we can use it to stop Lucifer once and for all!" Pit exclaimed. "Not so fast! The Daybreak isn't powerful yet," Palutena warned. "I need to charge it up to full power so that it will be strong enough to end Lucifer!" "So in order to do that, we need to distract Lucifer first," said Viridi. "I still have my Three Sacred Treasures with me," Pit explained. "But since I used it throughout the whole battle, it's not going to last very long. Pittoo! Phosphora! Since you two are the ones that can help me, fly with me to stop Lucifer for a while so that Lady Palutena can use her powers to charge up the Daybreak until it is in full power!" "Right!" said Dark Pit as he began to fly with Viridi's remaining Power of Flight. "We're flying with you, Pit!" said Phosphora as she began to levitate. The angels and Lightning Nymph flew to space to stop Lucifer for a while, while Palutena started to use her powers to charge up the Daybreak. Lucifer continued to charge up his form to destroy the universe. "Yes! Just a little more and this universe is history!" he said. But while he was charging up his form, he suddenly saw Pit, Dark Pit, and Phosphora flying at him. "WHAT?!" he yelled in shock. The trio then charged up their powers, flew straight towards Lucifer, and rammed into him with a big force. This caused the Devil to decrease his Sacrificer Form's powers. The trio then flew in front of their enemy and began to charge up their powerful attacks. "You're finished!" they yelled, simultaneously. But right when they were about to fire their attacks, Pit's Three Sacred Treasures disappeared back into its case, Dark Pit's Power of Flight ran out, because Viridi deactivated it to prevent him from burning his wings up, and Phosphora's powers ran out. "Uh oh!" Pit gasped. "Right when were about to finish this monster!" Dark Pit exclaimed. "Well... That was short lived..." Phosphora sighed. "Don't worry! I'm bringing you back immediately!" said Viridi as she opened up a light pillar and whisked the trio back to the ground.

"CURSE YOU, ICARUS!" Lucifer yelled in anger. "YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE THIS UNIVERSE ALIVE!" He then flew down to the Earth to destroy the core of the universe. Meanwhile, Pit, Dark Pit, and Phosphora landed on the ground safely thanks to Viridi. "Lady Palutena, is the Daybreak fully charged?" Pit asked. "Yes, Pit. But you have to be careful," Palutena warned. "You only have one shot so it's best to use it wisely." "Not a problem!" Pit responded as he took the Daybreak. "Time to finish this, Lucifer!" He then aimed the Daybreak carefully with a little struggle of worry if he misses. One miss from his shot and the universe is decimated. "I WILL NOT LET YOU RUIN MY PLANS THIS TIME, BROTHER!" Lucifer yelled and teleported so many times to make sure that Pit doesn't get a chance to shoot. "He's teleporting way to fast!" Pit yelled. "I can't even get a good shot with the Daybreak!" "Don't panic, Pit! I got this!" said Palutena and she unleashed another plethora of light-based projectiles at Lucifer to slow him down. "Ouch! Not again!" he yelled. "Alright, Pit! Aim carefully with the Daybreak!" Palutena ordered. "But you better aim carefully and quickly because I can't hold Lucifer in place for the next ten seconds!" "I'm on it!" Pit affirmed and aimed the Daybreak carefully. He then got a locking point and fired. "Take THIS!" he yelled as an energy beam fired directly at Lucifer. "AAAAHHHHH!" he yelled in pain, but he wasn't going down that easily. "No! I will not be bested by my own brother like Hades!" he roared. "TIME TO POWER UP!" He then increased his form's powers and flew down, struggling to get past through the energy beam. "No! Lucifer increased his powers again!" Pit cried. "The Daybreak isn't strong enough to defeat him!" "Then there is only one thing left to do," said Palutena. "We must all come together and make the Daybreak more powerful by giving Pit encouragement to defeat Lucifer!" Magnus, Gaol, Lily, and Trent also came up to see this happening as well. "We're here to help you as well, angel face," said Magnus and the others nodded in agreement. "Thanks. I could really use all of your help to finish this monster!" Pit thanked. Palutena came up to her angel servant first. "You've been a kind angel to me and my army, Pit," she said. "You're like the son I never had. I'm happy to have you from the very beginning, even when Medusa was corrupted by Hades and the Underworld army. Your parents would be proud of you for being with your friends and allies against the monster that ruined our lives." Pit soon noticed that the Daybreak started glowing. It was getting stronger after Palutena encouraged him. Magnus came up to the angel next. "You've been a good friend and ally to me when we fought against Gaol and freed her from the Underworld army," he said. "I'm glad to have someone like you... Pit." The Daybreak glowed brighter. Gaol came up next. "You have been the only hero mankind has to offer," she said. "I'm grateful to be back with my close friend again and happy to be free from the Underworld. And now, I'm here to help along with your other friends." The Daybreak glowed even brighter. Poseidon came up next. "I'm happy to see you protect your goddess and friends from evil," he said. "You remind me of myself when I'm with my brother, Zeus, and his children. Even though the only family I have left his Phosphora, I'm grateful for seeing you take care of her like her own brother." The Daybreak glowed even brighter. Thanatos came up next. "I'm proud to see you trusting the ones who were against me and the Underworld army earlier," he said. "But now, we're all here to take down Lucifer, our prisoner who escaped the Underworld in order to complete his master plan. We won't let it become complete. You have my word, Pit." The Daybreak glowed even brighter. Dark Pit came up to his light counterpart next. "I'll admit that you're not as bad as I thought," he said. "I think of you as a twin brother, at least not as monstrous as Lucifer. I may have been done a lot of things to you earlier, but after watching your actual brother do the same thing, I won't do it again. I promise. I'm always on your side no matter what." The Daybreak glowed even brighter. Phosphora came up next. "I'm with Pittoo here. I'm very grateful to have a friend stay by my side, who also acts like my brother, Hercules," she said. "Even though I lost my entire family, the only people I have with me are Uncle Poseidon, Cragalanche, Arlon, and Mistress Viridi. No matter what happens, I'll always be on their side as their ally, including you and Palutena, Pit." She also started to blush before continuing, "I...also deeply care about your dark counterpart ever since we had a ton of problems earlier from the Chaos Kin incident. Once this is all over, we'll be together forever." Dark Pit blushed at Phosphora's words as the Daybreak glowed even brighter. Cragalanche came up next, although he didn't have much to talk. All he could do was nod as that showed his affection for the angel and raised one of his fists. Pit smiled, returned the fist bump as a symbol of their friendship, and the Daybreak glowed even brighter. Arlon came up next. "I'm proud of you for becoming a great ally for the Forces of Nature and Palutena's army, young master Pit," he said. "I'm also grateful to have someone like you look up to Mistress Viridi and her army." He then bowed in respect before continuing, "You have my respect for helping Lady Gaia's daughter." The Daybreak glowed even brighter. Lily and Trent came up next together. "I'm so happy to have someone keep me company ever since mommy and daddy died," said Lily. "I'm not alone anymore when I'm with you, Pit. Ever since I found you as a ring, alongside my dog, I was happy to bring you back to your body, with the help of Magnus." Magnus smiled at Lily and Trent barked in agreement. The Daybreak glowed even brighter. Amazon Pandora came up next. "I'm happy to have someone by my side," she said. "I'm also happy to have Phosphora with me as the sister I never had. But..." She started to frown before continuing, "I'm also sad that I have to defeat Lucifer..." "Huh? Why do you say that?" Pit asked. "Well...to be honest...I kind of have feelings for him a little bit..." Amazon Pandora continued. "Not to mention that he's your brother and the only family member you have left. I know that he's a monster and was our prisoner, but..." "I know, Pandora, but the only way to end this chaos is to stop Lucifer," said Pit. "R-Right..." Amazon Pandora reluctantly agreed and the Daybreak glowed even brighter. Pyrrhon came up next. "Little angel, you have my respect as an ally to teach this monster a lesson," he said. "He must pay for corrupting me back at the Aurum. With the Dark Allies gone for good, justice will be served fully without any harm!" The Daybreak glowed even brighter. Dyntos came up next. "Well, whippersnapper, this goes to show that I'm proud of how tough you really are," he said. "But let good old Lord Dyntos help you end the monster who ruined all of our lives. Consider me returning the favor for you and your friends." The Daybreak glowed even brighter and was almost at its full power. Viridi came up last to finish this. "Pit, I'm really grateful to have a friend to help me from my dark past," she said. "I'm also glad to have someone stand up for my friends and commanders of the Forces of Nature. But there's also something more important is that I cared about you from the start of the Chaos Kin incident. Ever since I started attacking the humans with the reset bombs, I was blinded by chaos and anger thanks to Lucifer who killed my mother. But now, I deeply care for the humans, you, and my Aunt Palutena. There's also something I need to confess..." She started to blush before continuing, "If Palutena isn't around to protect you, I will be the one to protect you from imminent danger." This made Pit blush at Viridi's words. "Thank you, Viridi, and all of you guys as well," he said. "I couldn't have done all of this without any of your help. Now, with all of us together, LET'S FINISH THIS!" Everybody nodded in agreement and the Daybreak was glowing very bright. This gave out enough energy within it from everyone's encouragement, Phosphora's confession to Dark Pit, and Viridi's confession to Pit. The energy beam suddenly grew bigger and stronger. It then engulfed Lucifer so much he started to feel pain a lot more. "AAAAAAHHHHHHH!" he yelled. "I'm sorry, Lucifer..." Amazon Pandora started. "But this is the only way to stop you and this madness. Forgive me..." Pit finished. Lucifer only looked at his enemies with a menacing stare as he started to disintegrate. "DON'T THINK THIS IS OVER YET, FOOLS!" he shouted. "THIS WAR IS FAR FROM OVER! I'LL BE BACK! JUST YOU WAIT! YOU HEAR ME?! THERE'S NO WAY YOU'LL DEFEAT ME THAT EASILY!" At long last, Lucifer succumbed to the blast and was gone. Everyone dropped the Daybreak as it shattered back to three pieces. Pit, Dark Pit, and Phosphora walked up to the edge of the ground and began their pose. "Super..." Pit started. "Duper..." Dark Pit started. "Ultimate..." Phosphora started. "VICTORY!" they all finished, simultaneously, as they made "V" peace signs and an orchestral version of the "Victory" song played. (A/N: There's no such thing as that, so just picture the song in your head like the original but more... You know... "Orchestral.")

Suddenly, they heard cheers again. The humans came out of the town and cheered, happy to see their REAL villain gone for good. "Yeah! We finally did it!" Pit cheered. "We saved everyone around the entire universe!" But then he started to frown. "What's wrong, Pit?" Palutena asked. "I'm a little sad about all the lives that were lost during the war and Lucifer's crimes," Pit replied. "I wish we could've prevented Lucifer from causing this." But before he could continue, everyone saw something amazing. The souls from the closed portal came out of the water and flew into the town. All of the souls landed back on land and were suddenly revived. Three of them came up to our heroes. Magnus was happy to see someone familiar. "Daddy!" his child cried, happily. "T-Tommy!" Magnus sobbed as he ran up to his son and hugged him tightly. "T-That's his child!" Palutena gasped. "B-But how...?" Pit asked in shock. But before anybody could answer the question, Lily and Trent saw two familiar faces. Lily cried in tears of joy upon seeing them. "MOMMY! DADDY!" she sobbed and rushed to her parents in a warm embrace. "Sweetie! Thank goodness to see that you're safe!" her mother cried. "We're happy to be back and see you again!" Lily's father continued. "All thanks to the angel that saved our peaceful world from those monsters." Everyone else was shocked to see all of this. Truly, it was a joyous moment. "I-I'm confused," said Pit. "How did all the humans came out of the portal and returned back to life?" "Allow us to explain it to you," said a new voice. Everyone turned around and were surprised to see who they were. "MEDUSA?! HADES?!" they gasped in shock. What's unknown is that they were not as big as they were before. Turns out, they have shrunken down to the normal size of a human. The Underworld rulers were taken aback by their surprise. "What makes you surprise to see us?" Medusa asked. "Are you here to kill us again?!" Pit exclaimed, demanding for answers. The Underworld rulers raised their hands in defense and Hades said, "No no no! We're not here to do that!" "We surrender this time, after we found out about the Reapers' betrayal," Medusa added. "Are you sure about that, sis?" Palutena asked. "Yes. Also, we're proud of Thanatos and Pandora for stopping Lucifer and freeing us," Medusa continued. "And for sending all of the other souls back to the Overworld and reviving them from Lucifer's hands," Hades added. "It was nothing, my Lord and Queen," said Thanatos. "We had to do what we had to do," Amazon Pandora added. "So, after the defeat of Lucifer, all of the souls he gathered around him were free and went back to the Overworld!" Pit gasped. "Talk about joy," said Phosphora. The humans nodded in agreement and cheered that everything is all back to normal. Palutena came up to Medusa and gently hugged her as Medusa hugged her sister back. "I'm happy to be back away from that filthy Devil," said the Goddess of (no longer) Darkness. "I'm sorry for not stopping Lucifer in time to save Gaia. I would've helped, but I was too corrupted to even think clearly." "It was my bad," said Hades. "If only he didn't do anything at the first place, my own times would've been ruined. Well, before I learned my lesson that is." "It's okay. I forgive the both of you," Palutena replied as the two sisters let go of each other. "After all, it was all Lucifer's fault for causing so much trouble for all of us." Everybody else nodded in agreement. "Also, both me and Hades are going to be together in the Underworld in case those Abyss demons try to invade the Overworld again, since they were our enemies along with the Reapers," said Medusa. "And how are you going to prove that?" Palutena asked. Medusa only smiled and turned to Hades. She then kissed him fully on the lips and he kissed back. Palutena giggled and smiled at her sister. I'm happy to see that she found someone she cared about to protect, she thought. Even though he did invade Angel Land and corrupted her. But, that was all in the past. This is our future. After the Underworld rulers stopped kissing, Viridi came up to Medusa. "U-um...Medusa? Is it true that you're my other aunt?" she asked. "I am. Oh, Hades is going to be your uncle-in-law, along with me being Phosphora's aunt-in-law," Medusa replied. This caught both Viridi and Phosphora by surprise, but they calmed down afterwards. Pit walked up to the Goddess of Nature as the Lightning Nymph stepped aside, next to Pit's dark counterpart, with a smirk on her face. Dark Pit chuckled as well. Only Pit would know what to do since he was starting to blush. "V-Viridi?" the angel started and Viridi turned around to face him. "I-Is it true that you care about me?" Pit continued. Viridi only blushed and kissed Pit on the lips. The angel was surprised for a moment but eventually kissed her back. The humans cheered for their hero's love and Dark Pit continued to snicker. "Heh heh. Funny to see Pit Stain kissing the mighty Goddess of Nature, even though she's the second one after he mother," he smirked. "Isn't that right, Phosphora?" But Phosphora only smugly smiled and instead kissed Dark Pit on the lips as well. Dark Pit kissed back, a little rough but still passionate. Magnus looked at the angels with a smile on his face. "Nice to see the angels have their romantic times," he said. Gaol then walked up to her close friend. "Hey Magnus?" she started and Magnus turned around to look at her. "I want to reward you for helping the angel save me from the Underworld," Gaol continued. "Even though the one responsible was that monster, and the Underworld rulers surrender, this is my gift to you!" She then kissed Magnus on the lips. Magnus took it by surprise, but eventually kissed her back. Lily and Trent smiled at the two humans. "They're just like mommy and daddy," said Lily. "I guess they're going to be your parents." "Yeah. Daddy will be happy to be with her now," said Trent. "Hey. If you want, do you want to hang around for a playdate?" "That would be nice!" Lily said, happily, and hugged Trent tightly as he hugged her back. Trent barked happily to see this. "Aw. That's so cute!" said Lily's mother. "Indeed it does," said Lily's father. "I'm sure they'll be happy for the upcoming future." They both hugged each other for this joyous occasion. The only one that wasn't feeling so happy was Amazon Pandora. Phosphora stopped kissing Dark Pit and walked to the Goddess of (no longer) Calamity. "Is something wrong, sis?" she asked. "I...I didn't get to admit my feelings for Lucifer," Amazon Pandora replied. "I know he was our prisoner and a monster, but..." Before she could continued, Phosphora gently hugged her. "I know how you feel," she said. "But a new future is coming up and we have to accept it." Amazon Pandora hugged her back. "You're right. Maybe I might get a chance to see him again," she said. "And hopefully there might be a chance to change his mind...if we can that is." Phosphora nodded in agreement and they both went back to the meeting spot. "Hey, Pittoo? Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Pit asked. "First of all, stop calling me that," Pittoo replied. "Second, yes." The angels smiled and soon carried both Viridi and Phosphora in their arms bridal style. "W-What are you two doing?" Viridi asked. "How about you activate our Power of Flights?" Pit asked. "After all, Viridi already used it on me and Pit still has a little time left," said Dark Pit. "Also, Phosphora, since you're Zeus' daughter, you can do the same thing." "Alright!" said Phosphora as she and Viridi activated the Power of Flights on the angels' wings and flew up to the sky. Everybody waved and cheered for their accomplishment in defeating Lucifer. Everything is finally over as Pit and Dark Pit flew to the sun with Viridi and Phosphora scooped up in their arms.

Wow! What a roller coaster! All of the big twists and ships have been revealed (Ships: Pit x Viridi, Dark Pit x Phosphora, Magnus x Gaol, Hades x Medusa, and Lucifer x Pandora.), the main antagonist is finally defeated, and the war is all over. Truly, this is a happy ending. But don't celebrate just yet. I'm not done with everything. Sorry if this took really long to complete because I think this was the biggest chapter I have ever wrote. For those of you that want to know about my OC's real name, it's based on the story of Jesus. Lucifer is the Devil brother of the angel, Jesus, and they're both children of God. Well... Except for one of them... Just like Pit and Lucifer the angel brothers, including Dark Pit, of the story.
