Star Trek: The Next Gamer
Episode 7: Korriban Instant Dungeon
Stardate: 41309.
Earth Standard Date: April 23, 2364.
Location: Sith Infiltrator, The Scimitar, Beta Cassius System.
The Scimitar floated in space above the planet Haven. The Gamer successfully saved the last eight remaining Tarellians from a harrowing fate and earned them as his devoted followers. Tyson spent several hours dismantling the transporter and holoemitter systems he set up on the Tarellians' ship. Once that task was complete he stored the vessel within his expansive Inventory. Then set about the task of painstakingly rebuilding those systems on the Scimitar.
The stealth ship had two decks. The top level boasted a cockpit and a secondary room which was initially designed as crew seating. Tyson completely overhauled this secondary room. He integrated holographic projectors into the deck plating, which would allow advanced holo-communication and adaptable consoles for crew members. Additionally, he integrated the transporter from the defunct Tarellian ship. The only door on the top level led to an elevator-like lift that connected the upper deck to the lower level.
The lift opened in the lower level to a circular meeting room that served as the hub for strategic planning and social interactions. A series of doors surrounded the hub. One door opened into a hallway leading to the forward section of the ship. The others to a pair of bedrooms and multiple storage bays which housed equipment and resources. However, Tyson replaced the bedrooms and storage rooms with small holodecks. These versatile spaces could transform into sleeping quarters, medical bays, or even simulated environments for recreational purposes, making the most efficient use of the limited space on the ship. Within these mini-holodecks, the surviving Tarellians safely rested, their surroundings carefully tailored to provide comfort that they'd been deprived of for countless years. Each mini-holodeck could easily hold two people within one of their instances while the converted storage rooms could hold three. Any of the needed equipment that was once in storage could be created by the replicator Tyson had unloaded within the engineering section in the front of the ship.
The spacecraft had been reshaped by Tyson into a vessel of ingenuity and adaptability. The Gamer believed, for a ship its size class, it may be the most advanced in the quadrant. It could stand against any fighter and had the speed to outrun even Capital Ships or Escorts.
Turning to T'Pol, Tyson's eyes met the calm gaze of the Vulcan officer. "T'Pol, could you contact the Enterprise and inform them we're heading for the Persephone system?"
T'Pol inclined her head in agreement, her fingers swiftly engaged the holographic communication station's controls as she initiated the contact. Creating holographic stations was easy. Getting them to interface with the Scimitar's systems was a little more complicated, but with his Engineering and Computers skills so high, it was easily within Tyson's reach. Even having systems originating from different universes communicate with each other didn't stress his abilities.
The Gamer pulled an R2 unit from his Inventory. It was the same R2 he'd used to navigate from Coruscant to Naboo, a vertically painted stripe across its 'eye' marked its uniqueness. The R2 unit whirred after being summoned, its domed head swiveled as it scanned the environment.
"Excuse me," Tyson said, leaning down to address the small astromech. "Do you have the ability to calculate hyperspace routes from detailed star maps?"
The R2 unit emitted a series of chirps and beeps, its language an intricate code of electronic signals. Tyson tried to mimic the sounds, then asked the droid to repeat its response.
Language Skill Unlocked!
Binary (level 2) - The universal language shared by droids and various machines, robots, androids, and similar artificial creatures that communicate through beeps, clicks, and other methods generally unavailable to organic creatures.
"Affirmative," the droid replied in its synthesized beeps and noises. "I possess advanced navigational {Beep boop} and extensive star charts that enable me to {beep boop beep whooo} routes with high accuracy."
Tyson's eyes lit up with excitement at the prospect of gaining an impossibly fast method of travel through the galaxy. "Fantastic! Unfortunately, we're in a different galaxy. Your current star charts will be useless as the star formations of this galaxy are different from your native galaxy. We'll need to download new ones from the Federation databases. I can provide the information."
The R2 unit beeped in enthusiastic affirmation, undeterred by the man's revelation, and followed Tyson to the holographic navigation console. As the pair worked together, Tyson began a download of the Alpha and Beta Quadrant maps available to all Federation starships. The droid's advanced algorithms quickly went to work calculating hyperspace routes. A holographic representation of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants flickered to life above the console, a glowing path began winding through the stars extremely slowly. Tyson wouldn't be sending the ship through hyperspace without extensive study of the technology, but the sooner the droid got started, plotting the lanes, the sooner Tyson could begin evaluating its validity.
"With currently available processing ability, the task will take approximately 318 years to complete. Please provide additional computing power to complete the task in a more timely manner."
Tyson sighed. He wouldn't be traveling in hyperspace any time soon. While the droid analyzed the star charts, Tyson made his way to the last unoccupied mini-holodeck. He felt a surge of anticipation course through him as he entered the Korriban Instant Dungeon.
The Valley of the Dark Lords materialized around Tyson. A chilling wind swept across the barren landscape, carrying with it the echoes of ancient power. The oppressive atmosphere weighed heavily upon him, the touch of the Dark Side was almost palpable in this forsaken land. Before him, colossal statues of the Dark Lords loomed, their visages carved into the jagged cliffsides. These eternal sentinels stood as monuments to ambition and power. The shadows cast by the setting sun seemed to imbue them with a sinister life of their own.
Tyson's footsteps echoed through the desolate valley, a lone traveler in a realm steeped in the legacy of darkness. As he navigated the terrain of the Valley of the Dark Lords, his eyes were inexorably drawn to the dark, twisted fortress that loomed at the entrance to the valley. Despite the aura of dread that hung heavily in the air, Tyson felt an undeniable curiosity welling within him, urging him to draw nearer to the formidable edifice. As he approached the fortress, he could see the intricate stonework etched with the arcane symbols, their beautiful curves, and lines belied the sinister etchings carved into the stone. The air around him seemed to thrum with unseen energy, the lingering remnants of the dark power that had once been cultivated within its hallowed halls. Tyson found that the massive gates were locked, their durasteel ironwork forged into intricate patterns marked with Sith runes. The gates proved resistant to his lightsabers, phasers, and telekinesis. It seemed that the secrets of the fortress were not meant to be unveiled without a challenge. As he stood before the impenetrable barrier, he received a sudden quest notification, its message materializing before him in a glowing, blue box.
Quest Alert!
Valley of the Dark Lords: Unlock the Secrets of the Sith Academy
The key to the Academy's entrance lies hidden within the crypts of the Dark Lords. Delve into the depths of a tomb, and defeat its challenge to gain passage into the heart of the Academy.
Objective: Clear one of the Sith Tombs
Reward:
Sith Companion Gem
Key to the Sith Academy
Tyson walked slowly along the ancient, dusty path, his footsteps muffled by the sands of time that had claimed this desolate place. The entrance of the first tomb was framed by jagged, menacing stone pillars that seemed to claw at the sky above. Shadows played along the surface, the worn and crumbling steps spoke of the countless souls that had dared to venture within.
Tomb of Ajunta Pall
As one of the first Sith Lords, Ajunta Pall had a deep understanding of the dark side of the Force. He was known for his ability to use the dark side to enhance his physical abilities, manipulate others, and unleash destructive energy. He was a skilled alchemist, proficient in Sith magic, and the creation of Dark Side artifacts.
Continuing, Tyson came across the tomb of Tulak Hord, a Sith Lord that was known for his mastery of the dark side and lightsaber skills. The tomb stood tall and foreboding, a monument to the warrior that lay within. A massive stone door barred the entrance, carved with intricate patterns that seemed to draw the eye into their depths. Tyson could feel the whispers of the dark side emanating from the tomb.
The next tomb belonged to Marka Ragnos, a Sith Lord whose reign was marked by a golden age for the Sith Empire. The entrance was flanked by towering statues, the stone was deep, blood-red, and seemed to absorb the meager light that managed to penetrate the perpetual gloom of the valley.
The tombs went on and on. Naga Sadow, Ludo Kressh, Darth Bane, Freedom Nadd, Exar Kun, Darth Vectivus...
The whispers of the Force seemed to reverberate through the valley, an incessant reminder of the darkness that had once been unleashed upon the galaxy. The malevolent energy was almost tangible, seeping into Tyson's consciousness and tempting him with promises of power and knowledge. As Tyson made his way deeper into the foreboding Valley of the Dark Lords, he came upon the entrance to the final tomb, flanked by a nondescript statue. Its face bore no distinctive features or symbols, hinting at the enigma that awaited him within. As he drew closer to the entrance, a prompt materialized before him, its words shimmering with an otherworldly glow.
Tomb of the Sith That May Never Be
Your defeat of Palpatine before he became Emperor placed the future in a state of flux. This tomb is a unique one-time opportunity to gain a companion Sith that may never rise in the future.
Below the prompt, Tyson's eyes scanned a list of names, each one a Sith Lord who rose to power after the fall of the Empire. The implications of the quest weighed heavily upon Tyson. To alter the course of history was no small feat, and to take on a companion from a potential alternate timeline was a decision that couldn't be passed. The Gamer began browsing the extensive list of options.
Tyson came upon a section of grouped names. He didn't recognize any of the characters in this list. They all had names like Second Sister or Fifth Brother. Tyson had to check the descriptions to begin seeing the pattern; the characters in this section served the Empire or the Emperor directly. Tyson scrolled to the next grouping. The One Sith Order. The first name at the top of the list was Darth Krayt, his description piqued Tyson's interest.
Darth Krayt
Darth Krayt established the One Sith Order, which deviated from the Rule of Two. He believed in a more unified Sith, with a single leader and many followers working towards a common goal. He managed to overthrow the galactic emperor and seize control of the galaxy. Darth Krayt possessed an incredible mastery over the dark side of the Force.
Intrigued, he moved on, coming across names he recognized. Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke stood out, as did Galen Marek. It was the final section that drew his attention strongest, all the characters had a tag labeling them as Alternate Universe. The options here were genuinely surprising, the first to catch his eye was Lady Snips.
Lady Snips (Alternate Universe)
When Ahsoka Tano was ready to leave the Jedi Order, her master, Anakin Skywalker convinced her otherwise. Both ended up jaded by the Order and fell to the Dark Side, following Emperor Palpatine and eventually overthrowing him, together.
Darth Imperia (Alternate Universe)
Leia Skywalker was raised as the secret apprentice to Darth Vader. She took the Sith name Imperia, marking her as the heir to the Empire. With her brother and their father, they were able to overthrow Emperor Palpatine and lead the Empire as a Sith Triumvirate.
The Gamer noted that there were some names missing from the options completely. He never saw Darth Tyrannus aka Count Dooku, or any references to Jar Jar Binks. He noticed that several famous Sith Lords didn't have tombs and weren't on the list, including Darth Revan and Palpatine himself, as well as his master Darth Plagueis. After much mental debate, Tyson decided not to enter the unique tomb. He had no idea of the effects of his actions on the Star Wars universe. This tomb would be best utilized after he had an understanding of the butterflies his actions created.
Leaving the entrance to the Tomb of Sith That May Never Be, Tyson backtracked to a Tomb he'd glanced over earlier.
Tomb of Darth Cognus
The Huntress was a Force-sensitive female Iktotchi who possessed a natural talent with precognition and telepathy. After capturing Darth Bane, she appealed to learn the ways of the Sith from him. She became Darth Cognus, so named for her instinctive ability to perceive and influence the future. Before she could formally begin her training, however, Bane's previous apprentice, Darth Zannah, arrived to do battle with him for rights to the title of Sith Master. Cognus realized that the two were evenly matched, and did not involve herself but instead pledged to serve the winner of the duel. Zannah emerged victorious, and Cognus became her apprentice.
Select Difficulty
Easy: Battle the Force-sensitive Huntress before she's trained by the Sith.
Medium: Battle Darth Cognus just after her rise as the Lord of the Sith.
Hard: Battle Darth Cognus just before her challenge to Darth Zannah. You'll have to battle both Sith Lords.
Extreme: There were three at the beginning of the Rule of Two. Darth Cognus stepped back, allowing Zannah and Bane to battle and become the apprentice to the victor. Here you'll have to battle all 3, Darth Zannah, Darth Bane, and Darth Cognus.
Tyson's main goal was to unlock the Sith Academy. Tyson was confident in his battle prowess, but fighting two Sith Lords and an assassin with no backup was riskier than he felt the situation called for. Darth Bane and Darth Zannah had tombs that he could open at a later date. The Gamer selected Medium Difficulty.
As Tyson stepped through the threshold of the Tomb of Darth Cognus, the darkness swallowed him whole, and the dank, musty air of the ancient crypt engulfed him.
But a moment later, it faded away. In an instant, his surroundings shifted, and he found himself standing at the edge of a vast, still lake.
Tyson looked around, taking in the eerie beauty of Lake Natth on the remote planet Ambria. The names weren't familiar but helpfully flashed briefly in his field of view before fading. The water was dark and glassy, reflecting the twisted, gnarled trees that bordered the lake. The air was heavy with a palpable sense of darkness, though far less than the cloying darkness of Korriban. The sky overhead was a murky purple, casting an unsettling twilight over the scene.
The silence was broken by the sound of footsteps approaching. Tyson turned to see a figure clad in black robes, her face concealed by a hood that threw her features into shadow.

She paused for a moment and slowly pulled back her hood. Her face, previously hidden in shadow, was now revealed in all its dark beauty. Darth Cognus was an Iktotchi, a race whose appearance was reminiscent of mythological demons. Her skin was a smooth, dusky shade of beige-red. Her large, dark eyes held an intensity that both captivated and unnerved Tyson. The sharp, curved horns that swept back from the sides of her forehead framed her face, adding a touch of regal elegance to her visage. Despite the air of danger that surrounded her, there was an undeniable allure to Cognus. Her full lips curved into a cruel, seductive smile, which sat above a tattoo of three vertical slash marks that lead down to her chin. Her beauty was not that of a delicate flower, but rather a deadly predator. Tyson found himself drawn to her, even as every instinct warned him of the peril she represented.
Darth Cognus' gaze locked onto Tyson's, her eyes gleamed with a dark promise. "Behold the face of your adversary," she whispered, "Let us see if you can withstand the power I wield."
With her face now revealed, Darth Cognus strode towards him with an air of cold confidence. The wind rustled the dead leaves at her feet, and the water of Lake Natth rippled ominously as she stopped a few paces away from him. Darth Cognus raised her hand, and a lightsaber hilt flew into her grasp from seemingly out of nowhere. With a snap-hiss, the blood-red blade sprang to life, casting an eerie glow on her face. She regarded Tyson with a predatory smile, her eyes gleamed with cruel intent.
Conflicting feelings clashed within Tyson. Excitement at the thought of facing another Sith Lord in battle, hope for the future of the planet he controlled, and fear of failing those under his charge. He channeled these emotions into his resolve, transforming them into a weapon that he would wield against his adversary. Dark Rage normally required negative emotions to enhance the Dark Side Force user, but Tyson's mastery of the Force was quickly advancing to the point he could use more neutral emotions like anxiety and excitement. With a flick of his wrist, Tyson summoned his armor onto his body and lightsabers to his hands, their blades ignited with a snap-hiss that broke the oppressive silence. The twin blades, one a brilliant blue. The other was a blazing crimson, a match to the blood-red glow of Darth Cognus' weapon. He boldly stated, "I'm Tyson. You won't be forgetting my name." and immediately regret it. He sounded like a character in a fighting game spouting off a one-liner before engaging.
Cognus reveled in the darkness that filled her, feeding on the pain and suffering that had shaped her into the fearsome Sith Lord she had become. Her twisted desires, and insatiable, unquenchable thirst for power coalesced into her own Dark Rage that radiated from her very being. As Darth Cognus charged toward Tyson he braced himself for the impact. Their lightsabers met in a shower of sparks, the energy of their blades crackled and hissed as they collided. The two warriors danced around each other in a deadly ballet, their emotions fueled their Dark Rage and drove them to push past their limits. Each strike, parry, and counter echoed with the weight of the grim knowledge that only one of them could emerge victorious.
Cognus lunged at Tyson with her red lightsaber, aiming for a swift and brutal strike. But Tyson managed to parry her assault. Undeterred, Cognus pressed on, her blade a blur of scarlet fury. He could feel the dark energy that fueled her assault, the sheer malice that drove her every move. This time, her attack found its mark. It carved a searing path through Tyson's defenses and left a superficial gash between the plates of his Beskar armor. The heat of her blade cauterized the wound, leaving a scar, but it didn't affect the Gamer's combat ability. Tyson went on the offensive, his twin blades a whirlwind of azure and ruby. With each precise and powerful strike, he found an opening in Cognus's defenses, chipping away at her. First, his blue blade connected, cleaving through the air and finding purchase. The Sith Lord hissed as her armor singed and smoldered from the heat. The red blade followed suit, scoring another hit. Cognus's composure faltered as Tyson's relentless assault continued. The Gamer's blades found their mark again and again before the Sith could regain her guard. Her armor held, but Tyson's Aesthetic Damage perk was at work, chipping away at it with every strike.
Cognus struck at Tyson with a renewed sense of purpose. Tyson managed to block her first attack, their lightsabers met in a flash of light and snarling energy. Cognus pressed her advantage, her blade once again finding its mark and tearing through Tyson's defenses. The searing pain of her successful strike left him reeling. It was a visceral reminder that his Mandalorian armor wasn't a perfect defense. As Tyson fought to regain his footing, his counterattack faltered. His first strike missed its mark, the azure blade slicing through empty air as Cognus slid away from its deadly path. Undeterred, he struck again, this time landing a solid blow with his red blade. The Sith Lord's snarl echoed through the tomb as her armor began to look worse for wear.
Cognus attacked Tyson and the Gamer met her first strike head-on, his lightsabers blocking her assault. But Cognus would not be denied, her next attack found its mark and left a burning gash across Tyson's armor and underweave. Unrelenting, Cognus continued her assault, her crimson blade found Tyson's armor once more. Tyson attempted to counterattack, but his strike missed its mark. Time and time again, Tyson's blows failed to find their target as Cognus danced away.
The grim reality of the situation became all too clear as Tyson's attacks continued to miss their mark. The balance of the battle began to tip in the Sith Lord's favor.
A storm of scarlet fury was unleashed as Darth Cognus initiated a fierce offensive against Tyson, her crimson blade carving intricate arcs through the tense air. Her relentless assault was a destructive ballet of power and precision. Yet, Tyson stood his ground. He deflected her initial strike, his blade clashed against hers in a cascade of incandescence. Cognus's onslaught continued and Tyson met her savage advances with equal resolve, his blades rose and fell in a tempestuous rhythm to intercept her attacks. Amid this relentless offensive, Tyson initiated a counterattack, each attack, each feint, and lunge seemed to only grasp at shadows.
The clash of their lightsabers echoed over the placid lake. Cognus's crimson blade found its mark once again on Tyson's Mandalorian armor. But Tyson's azure and red blades rose to meet her follow-up attack in a desperate bid to hold her at bay. The sound of their collision was deafening, Tyson attempted a return strike and his persistence finally paid off when his red blade found its target. He left a searing wound on her armor. The slice left a small amount of her skin visible, proof that Tyson was wearing down her defenses.
Tyson and Darth Cognus stood toe-to-toe. Sweat dripped down their faces as the intensity of their duel demanded every ounce of strength and focus they could muster. As Cognus launched another wave of attacks, her crimson blade seemingly everywhere at once, Tyson's instincts kicked into overdrive. He managed to block each strike, his blades rising like shields against the onslaught.
Tyson seized the initiative, his azure blade finding an opening in Cognus's defenses. Sensing an opportunity, Tyson pressed his advantage, his red blade following up the attack and slashing through the air to find its target, inflicting another strike on the Sith Lady. Tyson's next strike missed its mark as Cognus nimbly evaded his attack. Undeterred, Tyson delivered a powerful strike with his azure blade that connected with a resounding impact. A diagonal slash was left in Cognus's robe in the wake of Tyson's attack. The material fell to the ground, leaving one of her toned legs revealed like a gown.
As Cognus launched another series of ferocious attacks, Tyson's defenses held firm. He parried each of her crimson blade's vicious strikes, his lightsabers whirling in a dazzling display of skill. For a moment, the two combatants appeared evenly matched, locked in a grim deadlock that neither could break. Battles like this were where the Gamer system thrived. Cognus was a slightly superior, opponent which forced his skills to new heights, turning a losing battle into a stalemate. Tyson's moods rose with his improved Use the Force skill, but his frustration mounted. His flurry of desperate attempts to break through Cognus's defenses all missed their mark. The Sith Lady's movements were ever-fluid and unpredictable. His Lightsaber skill advanced slowly due to Cognus's high reflexes. It left his offenses unable to score reliable hits on the Sith. Their battle had become a test of endurance with the outcome remaining uncertain.
Neither combatant was willing to give ground in their desperate struggle. Darth Cognus's crimson blade sought to exploit the tiniest of openings in Tyson's defenses. Yet Tyson's focus remained unyielding, his lightsabers blurred into a whirlwind of light and motion as he deflected each of Cognus's vicious attacks. His senses sharpened, and his connection to the Force grew ever stronger allowing him to anticipate her movements.
Sensing a momentary lapse in Cognus's concentration, Tyson seized the opportunity to strike back. He quickly adjusted his footing and landed a solid hit, his lightsaber slicing through the air to deliver a stinging blow. Cognus reeled from the impact, pain, and rage etched across her face. Tyson pressed the attack. The follow-up turned into a devastating Critical Hit. Cognus staggered, her breaths coming in ragged gasps as she struggled to regain her footing. The tide of battle had turned, Tyson's growing mastery of the Force pushing him to new heights of strength and skill. His strike had seared a line through her armor, her sleeve and a portion of her robe fell to the ground, revealing a slender arm and portions of her toned abdomen.
The duel raged on, the air crackled with the energy of clashing lightsabers as Cognus's crimson blade struck relentlessly, seeking to break through Tyson's defenses. Yet, Tyson's skillful parries kept her at bay, their contrasting colors painted a vivid scene of conflict. Cognus's face twisted in frustration as Tyson managed to block her every assault.
Sensing her growing desperation, Tyson sought to capitalize on her vulnerability. He lunged forward and his red lightsaber connected with a resounding impact, the Critical Hit dealing devastating damage. Cognus recoiled, visibly shaken by the force of Tyson's blow. Not allowing her a moment to recover, Tyson pressed on, though his next strike went wide. He quickly adjusted, landing another powerful hit with his blue lightsaber, slashing through her defenses. Cognus was certain she'd lost a limb or been impaled during the exchange, but a quick examination revealed the only victim of Tyson's assault was her armor. Unbeknownst to her, the Aesthetic Damage perk protected her body from the searing of the lightsaber. But the state of her armor revealed the man's assault had breached her defenses. Her once formidable armor was in tatters. Her modesty was only intact thanks to her underclothes.
The battle between Tyson and Darth Cognus continued to escalate, their lightsabers flashed and clashed as they pushed each other to their limits. Cognus launched a series of swift, powerful strikes. But Tyson's reflexes held as he deftly blocked each attack. With a burst of speed and focus, Tyson delivered a devastating strike with his red lightsaber, then brought his blue lightsaber down in a swift, controlled arc. The blade connected, and another slash was added to Cognus's mounting injuries. Darth Cognus struggled to maintain her composure as she faced the relentless onslaught of Tyson's attacks. Her robes had been reduced to something she might have worn on a seduction mission during her time as an assassin. Her eyes burned with a mixture of rage and desperation as they circled each other, preparing for the next clash that could very well decide the outcome of their duel.
The air around them crackled with the energy of their lightsabers, and the very ground beneath them seemed to tremble from how deeply they pulled on the Force. Cognus launched a barrage of powerful blows at Tyson. But he stood his ground, his lightsabers formed an impenetrable wall of defense. Each of Cognus's attacks was expertly blocked, and her frustration grew with every failed attempt to break through.
Tyson's turn to strike came, but his first attacks were met with equally skilled defense. Cognus deflected his blue lightsaber with a swift parry, while his red lightsaber narrowly missed its mark. But, in a sudden flurry of motion, he brought both lightsabers down in a deadly, coordinated assault. His blue blade connected first. Cognus reeled from the impact, and before she could recover, Tyson struck again with his red lightsaber, adding more damage to her tally. Cognus staggered as the last of her armored robes drifted to the ground, leaving her in her undergarments.
The climax of their battle was imminent, and both combatants knew it. Tyson's face relaxed into a smirk as he sensed his victory. Darth Cognus's eyes blazed with defiance, prepared for the final exchange that would decide the victor in this epic confrontation.
As Cognus launched a final series of desperate attacks, Tyson's mastery of the Force shone through, effortlessly blocking her strikes with the brilliant hues of his blue and red blades.
Recognizing his impending victory, Tyson stored his lightsabers away in his Inventory. He reached out with the Force. Power surged through him as he seized Cognus in an unyielding telekinetic grip. He lifted her into the air, rendering her completely helpless and at his mercy.
Tyson's eyes bore into Cognus's, the intensity of his gaze making it clear that he would accept nothing less than her unconditional surrender. His voice rang out, echoing through the battlefield. "Submit, Cognus," he used Demand Surrender, "You've been defeated."
Cognus found herself unable to resist the relentless grip of Tyson's power. Hanging in the air, she could feel the truth of his words. She gritted her teeth, her pride warring with the cold reality of her situation. And as the moments ticked by, the realization dawned on her that she had been bested. Her only choice was to submit to Tyson's will. She had vanquished Zannah, ascending to her place as the new Dark Lady of the Sith. But now, shortly afterward faced the undeniable might of this man. Her pride was shattered by the humiliation of defeat. Yet, within her stirred an undeniable attraction to this man's formidable strength. She would submit… for now. She would learn from him, take what she could, and rise above him just as she had done to Zannah. She would seize control of her destiny once more.
Bound by the invisible chains of his telekinetic hold, she yielded to him. She released her lightsaber. It fell toward the ground until it landed in his telekinetic grasp. She watched in awe as it disappeared when it reached his hand.
In her mind, her submission was not an act of weakness but a calculated choice. Merely a temporary concession in the pursuit of ultimate power. Cognus's breath caught in her throat as she faced Tyson, held aloft by his invisible hand. Her voice, once cold and unyielding, now carried a softness that belied her true intentions. She purred, "It seems I have underestimated you. You have proven yourself formidable, and for that, I concede." She cast her onyx gaze upon him, allowing the fire of her ambition to flicker in her eyes. "I submit to you but know this. I will not remain your servant for eternity. You have shown me your strength, and I will learn from it. I will grow and surpass you."
Her eyes narrowed, "But for now, I will walk beside you. Together, we shall carve a path through the galaxy, an unstoppable force that will leave worlds trembling in our wake. I will submit to you, learn from you, and in the end, I will rise above you."

A silence stretched between them, the air was dense with suspense. Finally, it was Tyson who shattered the silence, "And why should I not just kill you, Cognus?" he asked his question echoing like a death knell. "Why wait for you to surpass me when I could easily remove the competition now?"
The Iktotchi Sith held Tyson's gaze, her stare never faltered under the weight of his deadly question. Her breath hitched, but she swallowed her fear, willing her composure to remain unbroken. Sensing his doubt, she knew she had to shift gears, resorting to her last-ditch weapon, one she hadn't utilized since her days as an assassin - seduction.
"Tyson," she began, her voice taking on a sultry purr. Her eyes flashed with an unspoken promise, their frigid depths melting into a warm allure. "Killing me... would be such a waste."
A small, tantalizing smile curled her lips, contrasting starkly with the tension in the air. "Think of the possibilities," she purred. "Knowledge, power, pleasure... I could provide all that and more," she continued, her every word draped in seduction. Her body moved subtly within his Force Grip, not enough to escape, but just enough for an enticing jiggle, adding a visual layer to her verbal seduction.
She paused, holding his gaze, her eyes aflame with desire and desperation. "Think of it, Tyson," she breathed, the barest hint of a plea lacing her words. "Together, we would be unstoppable."
Her voice, dripped with raw sensuality, weaving a web of allure and temptation. Whether or not Tyson would succumb to her ploy, however, remained to be seen. The oppressive silence returned, but this time it was filled with expectation. She could almost feel the cogs turning within his mind, weighing her offer against the pragmatic decision. Then, with an abruptness that stole her breath, Tyson released his telekinetic grip on her.
His eyes flashed purple for an instant before he commanded, "Prove your worth."

~~Lemons Begin~~
Cognus stood tall, her chest heaved with the lingering adrenaline that coiled within her. Here, she was in her element. She was the spider, weaving a web of seduction, Tyson the fly caught within its mesmerizing filaments. A triumphant, predatory smile curved her lips. She took a step towards him, her motions fluid akin to a serpent poised for the strike.
"Very well," she purred, her voice laced with an enticing promise. "I'll show you… just how valuable I can be."
She moved closer, the scent of her exotic perfume permeated the space between them, her crimson lips parted slightly as she drew in a deep, measured breath. "Are you ready?" She asked, her voice dripping with a seductive challenge.
Her slender hands deftly unfastened the clasps of her bra. A hint of a smile played upon her lips, a wickedly alluring contrast to the darkness in her eyes. The ebony fabric slid from her shoulders, pooling at her feet and leaving her silhouette to the scrutiny of Tyson's piercing stare.
Her toned muscles led to marvelous curves. The contrast between the raw power and feminine grace she exuded was truly a sight to behold. The defeated Sith turned her back to Tyson and lowered her underwear as she looked back at him. It reminded Tyson of Troi stripping in Cetacean Ops. Cognus stepped out of the fabric, standing bare before Tyson, her long raven hair cascading down her back in waves of silky darkness. The well-defined contours of her abdomen, the shapely curve of her hips, and the toned expanse of her legs spoke volumes about the strength hidden beneath her enticing veneer.
Her gaze never wavered from Tyson's, daring him to look, to take in the sight she offered. The promise of seduction, the silent plea for survival - a wicked desire for power that was both daring and vulnerable at once. She was offering him more than just her body; it was a silent declaration of the lengths she would go to prove her worth to him.
Her voice was husky with anticipation. "Well, Tyson? Am I... satisfactory?"
Her question echoed in the silence as her long, loose ebony hair was caught by a lazy breeze. Her lips, soft and inviting, were curved into an enigmatic smile, hinting at the thrilling mystery that was Darth Cognus.
Tyson watched her, admiringly. "You're pleasing to look at," he finally voiced out.
Cognus turned, her smile widened, her eyes twinkling with dark delight. "Am I now?" Her words carried a weight, a subtle challenge, her tone teasing yet promising.
"But what of your skills?" He asked, shifting the tone of their exchange. His voice held a challenge of its own, an unspoken call to prove herself worthy, not only in body but in power, knowledge, or… technique.
Cognus raised an eyebrow, a seductive gleam in her eyes. She stretched her arms out, her fingertips danced in the twilight air. Suddenly, the calmness of the lake was disrupted as the water began to surge upwards, taking on shapes and forms at her command. "Is that satisfactory?" She questioned.
Tyson's gaze remained firm as he watched the water dance to Cognus's command. With a flick of his wrist, the delicate forms of water collapsed into the tranquil lake with a soft ripple. "You know those weren't the skills I was referring to." His voice a challenge, "Don't play coy now. I already have a measure of your prowess with the Force."
Cognus turned, her smile never leaving her lips as she gracefully sauntered towards him, the soft sound of her bare feet brushing against the cool sand was barely audible above the gentle lapping of the water. Her approach was deliberate, and slow, like a predator closing in on its prey. Her eyes, intense and captivating, remained locked on Tyson's as she smoothly sank to her knees before him. Her dark eyes glinted mischievously as she remained silent, regarding him with a playful look. She was enticing, cunning, and quickly becoming interested in this powerful man. Her silence spoke louder than any words could; it was an invitation.
The distance between them was close, close enough for him to feel the heat of her body, to notice the way her eyes sparked with intrigue and the barest hint of hunger.
His armor and clothes, dematerialized into his Inventory, leaving him as bare and vulnerable as she was.
As Cognus reached out to touch him, her movements met an unseen resistance. Tyson's power swelled around them, the Force itself bending to his will as her hands were gently guided behind her back. His command was clear, silent yet overwhelming, she wouldn't need her hands for what was coming.
The Sith complied with an unusual meekness. Cognus lowered her head toward his waist, her breath a warm whisper against his bare skin. Her lips parted hesitantly with the anticipation of what was to come. Tyson felt the cool air of Lake Natth displaced by the warmth of her tongue, the delicate sensation around his head that caused a shiver to race across his skin.
Before she could engulf him in her mouth, an extension of his will enveloped her entire head and neck. It was a manifestation of his Force Grip wrapping around her like an invisible collar.
An unspoken warning echoed clearly in her mind. Iktotchi were infamous for their sharp teeth and formidable horns. She was a predator, yet under Tyson's control, she was as vulnerable as prey. His Force-wielded restraint was a leash, a promise - a single act of defiance would spell her end. So strong was his Force Grip, that a slight exertion of his will would snap her neck. Yet, within these boundaries, an unexpected sensation struck Cognus. His threat was both chilling and paradoxically arousing.
She heeded his warning, taking him in her mouth gently. She was careful to avoid scratching him with her sharp teeth, stretching her jaw, and curling her lips. At first, her movements were tentative, unfamiliar, it had been years since she'd used the carnal arts. Yet, with each passing moment, she grew more comfortable, more daring. The edge of uncertainty faded away, replaced by a growing enthusiasm that reflected in her dark, half-lidded eyes. Her commitment to the task at hand was unquestionable, the fire in her gaze speaking volumes about her devotion.
His hands reached out to grab her unique horns. They were cool to the touch, a contrast to the heat that radiated from the rest of her body. His grip was firm, yet not overbearing as he asserted his control. He guided her with a subtle, underlying gentleness that was in contrast with his overbearing authority. His actions spoke louder than words ever could, dictating the rhythm she was to follow. A demand that Cognus adhered to with almost unexpected compliance.
Each movement of her head was met with a soft tug on her horns, encouragement that kept her within the pace he set. She kept her eyes locked on him, the dark depths of Cognus's gaze reflected a mix of obedience and the unmistakable glint of her innate fire. There was something almost poetic about the way he guided her through the intimate act. She was a paradox, a Sith kneeling yet remaining unbowed.
She needed to prove her worth to him; her actions were guided by an intense desire to please and ensure her survival. She became attuned to every detail - the rhythm of his breath, the subtlest shifts in his body language, the very pulses of his presence within the Force. His ragged breaths spoke volumes, each of his exhales was an indication of his pleasure.
Under his commanding touch and encouraging guidance, Cognus surrendered to the rhythm Tyson set. She played along with an eager enthusiasm that was as intoxicating as it was captivating. As she submitted to his rhythm, the fierce Sith gave way to an obedient, eager partner. Her actions were careful, her movements attuned to his subtle commands.
And then, as he was nearing his peak, she took him deeper. Her throat constricted around his head, a bold act that elicited a sharp intake of breath from him, and cut off her breath completely. But Cognus wasn't finished, a resonant hum reverberated from her throat. Tyson hadn't experienced anything like this before. The vibration running through his length pushed him over the edge. Her humming seemed to resonate through his body into his very life force. If he hadn't been enveloping her in his own Force Grip, he might have believed she was using a Dark Side power on him. As it felt as if his entire being was pulled into her mouth along with his seed.
Cognus didn't flinch as his orgasm hit. Instead, she accepted him with reverence. Her rhythm didn't slow or cease until the final throbs subsided and he was spent.
His grip on her horns and his Force Grip around her loosened. The invisible chains around Cognus disintegrated, replaced by the relief of surviving the encounter. Relaxing his telekinetic grasp signaled she'd proven herself worthy of living.

His armor reappeared around him, and she rose to her feet to meet his gaze. Their connection had transcended the realm of physicality into something far more profound, a mutual understanding, a twisted bond formed in the crucible of their battle and intimate experience.
Cognus's voice dropped to a whisper, a seductive purr that spoke of passions and dark desires. "You have bested me, Tyson, but know that I will not forget this moment. I will not rest until I have unraveled the mysteries of your power and made them my own. For now, though, I am yours, and I will serve you with the same fervor and dedication that made me the Dark Lady of the Sith."
Her eyes held his, a promise of the chaos and passion that would define their tumultuous journey together. Tyson returned her gaze, a sly grin forming on his lips as he considered her submission. "Cognus, your willingness to submit is... intriguing," he said, his voice laden with a hint of desire. "But accepted. Know this: our journey will not be one of darkness alone. True power lies in balance, requiring understanding both the light and the dark sides of the Force, and bending them to our will." He continued, "There will be others who walk with us, allies who will aid us in our quest for power. You must be prepared to accept them and learn from them as well, for they too hold secrets that can unlock our potential." Tyson's eyes danced with a flirtatious glint as he added, "And, of course, we will learn from each other. I look forward to exploring the depths of your… power, Cognus, and in turn, revealing my own to you."
With those words, he reached out and lightly brushed his fingers against her cheek, a teasing caress that promised untold delights and a future filled with passion and power. As Tyson's finger traced along Cognus's face, she leaned with a wicked glint in her eyes and seductively enveloped his finger in her mouth. Tyson's eyebrows raised as he had flashbacks to her submission just minutes ago, but the moment was short-lived. With a swift motion, Cognus bit down on his finger, her sharp teeth pierced his flesh and drew blood.
Tyson's eyes widened, but the wound was hardly worth noting. His grin returned as he looked into Cognus's defiant eyes. He understood the message she was sending - despite her submission, she was not to be trifled with, nor underestimated. His finger could easily have been something else.
"Point taken," Tyson murmured with a hint of a laugh in his voice as he slowly pulled his finger from her mouth, "You're a fierce one, Cognus. I shall not forget that. We shall have an interesting partnership, to say the least."
Cognus smirked, her eyes still locked with his as she licked the few drops of blood from her lips. A challenge and a promise mingled within her expression. Tyson stuck the finger she'd bitten into his mouth.

The Gamer returned to the Valley of the Dark Lords, his newest companion disappeared as her gem was added to his Inventory. Tyson's finger still throbbed from Cognus's bite as he pressed the combadge on his chest, opening a channel to T'Pol. "T'Pol, status update. How are we looking out there?"
T'Pol's cool, collected voice came through in reply. "The Scimitar has successfully caught up to the Enterprise in the Persephone system and remains cloaked nearby. We are maintaining a safe distance, and monitoring their movements while remaining undetected."
Tyson nodded, pleased with the progress. "Excellent work, T'Pol. Inform me of any changes. Please send Visas into my holodeck"
"Understood," T'Pol replied, her voice betraying no emotion. "I will continue to keep you updated."
As Tyson stood outside the Sith academy, contemplating the path ahead, a subtle shift in the air caught his attention. A door suddenly manifested. The door was a sliding one, similar to the holodeck archways of the Enterprise but this was clearly in the design aesthetic of the Star Wars universe seen on the Scimitar. The new entryway slid open as Visas Marr stepped onto Korriban. Her blindfolded eyes were not a hindrance to her perception of the world around her, evidenced by her immediate focus on Tyson.
"Visas," Tyson greeted a hint of surprise in his voice. "I'm glad you could join me."
Visas nodded, her serene expression unchanging. "I will always answer your call and freely offer my assistance. My life, for yours."
Tyson considered Visas. The beautiful Miriluka still wore the outfit she'd donned when they first met and battled. "Your abilities and insight will be invaluable as we navigate this new planet. Welcome to Korriban."
Visas offered a small, enigmatic smile as she glanced in the direction of the Sith Academy. "It appears we have much work ahead of us," Visas said quietly.
"Indeed, we do," Tyson agreed, before asking the woman. "Have you ever been here?"
Visas shook her head. "No, I have never visited Korriban before. My path did not lead me here during my time with the Sith Lord. However, I am familiar with portions of its history and the dark power that permeates this place."
Tyson nodded, understanding the significance of bringing Visas to a world so steeped in darkness. "Then it's all the more important for you to be here."
Visas gave a nod. "I will do my best to aid you in this endeavor, and perhaps we can bring a measure of light to this place that has known only darkness for so long."
The sun dipped low on the horizon, casting ominous shadows on the cracked and crumbling facade of the Sith Academy. Once a hallowed ground, it now stood as a decaying monument. Tyson and Visas approached with caution, they could see the carved arches and spires that had once given the Academy an air of grandeur. The intricate stonework had been worn away by the harsh winds of Korriban, leaving a skeletal shell that whispered of the dark majesty it once held. The air carried the scent of decay and the faint, unsettling whispers of the tormented spirits that still lingered within.
Tyson reached into his Inventory and produced the key he had acquired from the quest, its surface was etched with ancient Sith runes that seemed to writhe and twist in the fading light. As he approached the massive entrance doors, they groaned and creaked, opening slowly in response to the key's presence.
Tyson and Visas stepped through the imposing gates of the Sith Academy. The Courtyard stretched before them, a barren expanse of cracked and weathered stone. Amid the desolation, a single statue stood. It was Darth Cognus, her alien features and sharp beauty were captured remarkably in the stone. At the heart of the Courtyard stood a magnificent brazier-like altar that demanded their attention. Intricately carved with twisted Sith runes. As Tyson approached, a prompt appeared before him, labeling the eerie structure.
Altar of Sacrifice
This ancient and foreboding altar holds a power unlike any other. Engraved with intricate symbols of Force rituals, it serves as a conduit to the very essence of the Sith Academy and the planet Korriban itself. When items are sacrificed upon its cold, stone surface, they become intertwined with the Academy's vast web of energies, merging seamlessly with the essence of the place. Through this communion, the Altar of Sacrifice grants the ability to reshape the Academy and even influence the world, ensuring its continued growth and evolution, ever-adapting to the desires of those who dare to wield its power.
Tyson and Visas left the altar for now and pressed on toward the imposing entrance of the Sith Academy. The heavy doors creaked open, revealing a grand Entrance Hall. Shadows danced along the walls, casting an unsettling pallor over the cold stone floors and towering columns. The Entrance Hall of the Sith Academy was an imposing space, designed to inspire awe in all who entered its halls. Its vaulted ceilings stretched high above, adorned with intricate carvings and frescoes that told the stories of the Sith's dark victories and conquests. The walls were lined with ornate tapestries and busts of previous Sith Lords.
To the left, a pair of massive doors led to the Dining Hall, where once, feasts fit for the Sith Lords were held. The long, heavy tables were now covered in a thick layer of dust, the echoes of laughter and whispered plots long gone, replaced by a deafening silence. The chandeliers that hung from the ceiling, once sources of flickering candlelight, now served as haunting reminders of the opulence that had once filled this place. At the rear, behind another set of doors, was the Academy Kitchens; now nothing more than a graveyard of rusted pots and pans, the once-fiery hearths cold and lifeless. The smell of decay hung in the air, a stark contrast to the rich aromas of exotic dishes that had once wafted through these halls.
And at the far end of the Entrance Hall stood the entrance to the Lord's Tower, its dark archway an ominous threshold seemed to beckon visitors into the very heart of the Academy's darkness.
Tyson relied on Visas's Force Sight to guide their path. The blind Miraluka's abilities allowed her to perceive the world through the Force, giving her a heightened awareness of the will that permeated this place. Tyson had the same ability, but Visas had lived with it all her life. Even though the Gamer's connection to the Force was great, there was much he overlooked because his body wasn't as attuned to the subtleties of the Force. Visas Marr was a scalpel with the Force; Tyson was a chainsaw.
Her guidance led them to the entrance of the Lord's Tower, an ominous structure that dominated the Academy's skyline. Accessed through the Entrance Hall, the tower loomed above them, a testament to the ambition and power of the Sith who had once called this place home.
At the pinnacle of the Lord's Tower, Tyson and Visas found themselves standing before the entrance to the Lord's suite. The once-imposing doors were now worn and scarred from centuries of neglect, yet they still exuded an air of authority and power. With a deep breath, Tyson pushed the doors open, and they stepped inside.
Unlike the rest of the Academy, this space seemed to have withstood the test of time, albeit barely. The staircase entered an office area, the administrative center for the leader of the Sith Academy. The office retained an aura of authority with an imposing desk that dominated the room. Its surface was marred by scratches and stains, yet it still held a sinister beauty. The walls were lined with shelves, once filled with ancient tomes and artifacts now empty with their knowledge long forgotten, and waiting to be rediscovered.
A door behind the desk led to the living area. It was a space adorned with furnishings, draped in tattered fabrics that had once been vibrant. The air was thick with the scent of dust and stale air, but beneath it, a faint hint of the opulence that had once permeated this space still lingered.
Visas stood at the doorway, her Force Sight allowing her to perceive the significance of this moment. She could sense the layers of darkness that enveloped this place, and it unnerved her. The Lord's suite may have been in disrepair, but the power and the secrets it held were still very much alive, waiting for a new master to claim them and shape the future of the Sith Academy.
As Tyson approached the desk, he could feel the weight of history pressing down on him as he pulled out the chair and took a seat. The moment his body connected with the worn leather a prompt appeared. Acknowledging his presence and granting him the authority that came with his title, and presenting him with two options. Alignment and Facilities.
Welcome, Lord. You have entered the Lord's suite. As the Lord of the Sith Academy, you may now access and manage various aspects of the Academy from this location. Utilize your newfound authority to shape the future of the Sith and guide your students.
Alignment
The Sith Academy is built upon a Force Nexus, which lies at the very heart of Korriban's essence. The Sith Academy and the planet itself are influenced by the Nexus, but the Nexus is also affected by the presence of Force sensitives within the Academy. Historically, the Academy has been a haven for the Sith, and the planet has reflected this affiliation.
Current Alignment: -10 Dark Side Saturated
Current Presence: +2 (Visas Marr: +3, Tyson: -1)
Facilities
Numerous structures, rooms, and areas exist within the Sith Academy, all awaiting activation. To unlock these areas and potentially influence the planet of Korriban itself, provide the necessary resources at the Altar of Sacrifice located in the Courtyard.

"Visas, we need to head back to the Altar of Sacrifice," he commented. The Miraluka nodded in agreement. Her blindfolded gaze was focused on the shared display, the system transmitted the information directly to her, bypassing her disability in a show of casual power. Together, they descended back through the ancient halls of the Sith Academy. As Tyson approached the Altar of Sacrifice once more, a subtle change in the air around them seemed to acknowledge his newfound status as Lord of the Sith Academy. With a wave of his hand, he accessed the Altar, and this time, a new option appeared before him. Along with his open Inventory.

As Tyson concentrated on the 'Power Source' option, the interface of his Inventory shifted, and all items within it became grayed out, save for a select few that were deemed appropriate for the task at hand. Among these options were his starships which possessed Matter-Anti-Matter reactors, as well as the 'Heart of Naboo,' a Legendary item he had acquired upon completing The Phantom Menace quest. Tyson pondered his choices, weighing the potential outcomes of using each source to power the Sith Academy and ultimately shape its future.
Tyson backed out of the options and looked at the prompt for the Altar of Sacrifice again. There was one point that drew his attention - the Altar of Sacrifice grants the ability to reshape the Academy and even influence the world, ensuring its continued growth and evolution.
Tyson found himself wrestling with the idea of sacrificing his Legendary item, the 'Heart of Naboo.' He knew that by offering it up to the Altar of Sacrifice, he could bring about significant improvements to the Sith Academy, and perhaps even influence the entire planet of Korriban. The potential for such a powerful impact was tempting, but he couldn't shake the feeling of loss that came with relinquishing a Legendary item. He weighed the pros and cons in his mind, considering the potential consequences of his decision, and ultimately asked himself: was the possibility of a greater outcome worth the sacrifice of something so valuable?
Heart of Naboo (Legendary)
You held back the droid army, defeated the Sith, and deposed the Trade Federation leaders. In return, you've been given this gem. This unique power source is a condensed plasma spark from the core of Naboo. Property: When equipped with Equipment or Vehicles up to Size-Class 6, this item serves as an unlimited power source.
With a deep breath, Tyson pulled the Heart of Naboo from his Inventory, taking a moment to marvel at the mesmerizing plasma spark suspended within the orb, reminiscent of the Gungan energy bombs. Size-Class 6 was the size of a Federation shuttlecraft. Even the Scimitar was too large for the Heart of Naboo. But if he ever wanted to make a set of power armor, it'd be perfect.
As he prepared to make his decision, a quote came to mind, one he attributed to Benjamin Sisko: "There's an old saying: 'Fortune favors the bold.' Well, I guess we're about to find out."
Filled with a sense of hope and determination, Tyson gently placed the Heart of Naboo on the Altar of Sacrifice. As he offered it up, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and trepidation, knowing that this act could potentially change the fate of the Sith Academy and Korriban itself for the better. That, or, he'd be losing another Legendary item… since Lore absconded with his freaking staff.
As Tyson offered the Heart of Naboo to the Altar of Sacrifice, the world around them began to tremble violently. The ground shook beneath their feet as if the very essence of Korriban was reacting to the powerful artifact. The plasma spark within the Heart of Naboo erupted, spreading tendrils of energy that snaked their way downward, deep into the planet's core. The once stable and solid core began to transform, the molten metal merging with the seemingly infinite plasma energy, creating a cataclysmic fusion. As the very foundation of Korriban changed, a sense of impending disaster hung in the air, threatening to engulf the Sith Academy and everything around it in a storm of destruction and chaos. Tyson and Visas braced themselves, unsure of what the consequences of their actions would be, but clung to the hope that the sacrifice would ultimately bring about the change they sought.
The tremors gradually subsided and an eerie silence fell over the Sith Academy. Tyson cautiously approached the Altar of Sacrifice once more, his heart pounding in his chest as he braced himself for any potential aftereffects of the cataclysmic fusion. With each step, he could feel the residual energy emanating from the altar, a testament to the power of the Heart of Naboo and the sacrifice they had made.
Visas, sensing Tyson's trepidation, offered a reassuring presence as they ventured closer to the altar. The very air around them seemed charged with the remnants of the unleashed plasma, making their skin tingle and their hair stand on end. As he reached the Altar of Sacrifice, Tyson couldn't help but wonder if the consequences of his actions would ultimately lead to the positive transformation they sought or if they had just set into motion a chain of events that would bring about unforeseen disaster.

With a mixture of excitement and trepidation, Tyson decided to push forward in his quest to revitalize the Sith Academy. Emboldened by the outcome of his previous sacrifice, he embraced the ancient adage, "In for a penny, in for a pound," and resolved to take another bold step.
He reached into his Inventory and scrolled to the image of the Industrial Replicator, a highly advanced and valuable piece of technology capable of producing a vast array of materials and equipment. He could sense the immense potential it held, a potential he was willing to relinquish in the hopes of further transforming the Sith Academy.
With a determined nod, Tyson accessed the Interface and dragged the image of the Industrial Replicator to the Altar of Sacrifice. The altar hummed with power as it began to consume the device, breaking it down into its constituent particles and weaving them into the very fabric of the Sith Academy.
As the Industrial Replicator merged with the academy's foundations, Tyson could feel the pulse of new life surging through the ancient walls. The once-decrepit structure seemed to awaken, its long-dormant systems stirring back to life as they prepared to serve the needs of the Sith once more. Tyson stood alongside Visas, marveling at the transformation that was unfolding before them, and knew that their sacrifice was not in vain.

As the integrated Industrial Replicator worked its magic, the foundations and structures of the Residence rapidly took shape, seamlessly assembling themselves in an intricate dance of creation.
Nestled amidst the cliffs above the Sith Academy, the Residence overlooked the hallowed grounds of the Valley of the Dark Lords. The architectural design of the Residence complemented the sinister aesthetics of the Academy, with dark spires and jagged angles rising sharply against the desolate landscape. The construction of the Everexpanding Residence unfolded at a staggering pace, its growth fueled by the boundless power supplied to the Industrial Replicator. Buildings, walkways, and other facilities sprouted up in rapid succession, creating a sprawling complex that could easily accommodate the ever-growing population of Sith who would call the Academy their home. From a distance, the sight of the Everexpanding Residence's rapid expansion was awe-inspiring. A demonstration of the immense power now harnessed by the Sith Academy and guided by the will of Tyson.
Before leaving to explore, there was one more sacrifice Tyson wanted to make. His sacrifices thus far had been objects that were extremely valuable to the Gamer, but this one would be one of his staple devices. He'd been creating them regularly since he'd been successful during his first week on the Enterprise-D.
Sacrifice Accepted!
1. Holo-projectors integrated into appropriate facilities.
As Tyson and Visas stepped back into the Sith Academy, they could sense the very fabric of the ancient structure shifting and transforming in response to their presence. The air crackled with electric energy as if the Academy itself was awakening from a long slumber, eager to reshape itself under the guidance of its new Lord. The Dining Hall and Kitchens underwent a remarkable metamorphosis, updating almost instantaneously to meet the demands of the 24th century. The once-dark and oppressive halls now gleamed with the polished sheen of state-of-the-art materials, seamlessly blending the sinister aesthetic of the Sith with cutting-edge technology. The kitchens were now equipped with advanced appliances and food synthesizers.
As the Lord of the Sith Academy, Tyson could effortlessly alter the layout, design, and aesthetic of the entire structure. The once-cramped corridors expanded and reshaped themselves, creating an imposing network of passageways that exuded an air of dark majesty. The walls and ceilings, previously adorned with ancient Sith iconography, now featured a harmonious blend of old and new, infusing the Academy with a sense of timelessness. The revival of the Academy had begun.
Interlude: T'Pol
T'Pol sat in the cockpit of the Sith Infiltrator. The communication with the Enterprise had just concluded, and she set a course for the Enterprise's location. She couldn't help but feel a sense of disappointment. T'Pol's stoic expression hid an unspoken desire to be more involved in the mission at hand.
She tapped some holographic buttons and began speaking, "Computer begin entry, Personal Log: T'Pol." When the computer beeped in the affirmative she continued, "Recent events have compelled me to examine the nature of my new life."
She dredged up her fragmented memories. "When I was afflicted with the Tsiolkovsky disease, I was left in a dire state, a result of my previous exposure to Trellium-D and my Pa'Nar Syndrome. It was Tyson who ventured into the recesses of my mind, employing his unique abilities to heal me. I am indebted to him for his remarkable capabilities and the lengths he went to ensure my well-being."
After a brief pause she continued, "Furthermore, I am compelled to reflect upon the dynamics of our relationship, the interplay of duty and personal connection. During Tyson's absence on Ligon, I was left to 'acclimate to this time period' as he so casually put it. However, I was kept in the dark, uninformed of crucial details and events unfolding in his absence. The Enterprise crew's efforts to pinpoint his location proved futile. I possess a telepathic link with Tyson that could have provided a solution if I had been apprised of the situation. This lack of communication has raised questions regarding trust and the boundaries of our relationship."
"My concerns regarding the incident involving the rogue android went unspoken. Tyson took it upon himself to venture to the surface, immersing himself in an analysis of the android's construction. As a science officer, I had expected to be a part of such investigations. My expertise in scientific analysis could have provided valuable insights and contributions to the matter at hand. However, I found myself disregarded, my presence deemed inconsequential. While I maintain my composure, I cannot deny the sting of being excluded from a situation where my expertise could have been of value. Such instances raise questions regarding my role within this partnership. Am I merely an observer, relegated to the sidelines while Tyson takes center stage? Or should I assert myself more forcefully, ensuring that my contributions are recognized and utilized to their fullest potential?"
"The recent encounter with Q, which resulted in Tyson being whisked away to another universe, has left me even more conflicted. I understand his hesitation in summoning me. However, I find solace in the fact that he ultimately recognized my value and the strength we possess as a team. Together, we faced formidable challenges, defeating a 'Sith Lord', which I'm told is quite difficult. And we emerged victorious from a major battle. These accomplishments have fostered a sense of appreciation and camaraderie that I yearned for. The memory of our shared moments, such as the meal we enjoyed on Coruscant, lingers in my thoughts. In those rare instances of respite, I have come to appreciate the depth of our connection and the solace we find together."
Tyson's voice came through in a comm channel. T'Pol quickly paused her log entry to focus on his voice. "T'Pol, status update. How are we looking out there?"
T'Pol's replied. "The Scimitar has successfully caught up to the Enterprise in the Persephone system and remains cloaked nearby. We are maintaining a safe distance, and monitoring their movements while remaining undetected."
Tyson praised her, "Excellent work, T'Pol. Inform me of any changes. Please send Visas into my holodeck"
"Understood," T'Pol replied, her voice betraying no emotion. "I will continue to keep you updated."
While Visas answered the call to join Tyson, she would remain on the Scimitar, assuming the role of commanding the vessel. It was a duty she had often found herself burdened with, the weight of command pressing upon her capable shoulders. She understood the necessity of her role and the importance of maintaining the ship's integrity and ensuring their collective safety.
T'Pol accessed the communication system, opening a channel to Visas Marr on the lower deck. "Visas, Tyson is seeking your presence in the Korriban instant dungeon," she relayed.
Visas's response was simple yet resonant with her unwavering devotion. "As he wishes," embodying the essence of her commitment and loyalty.
T'Pol briefly pondered their interaction. An unspoken understanding existed between them. Despite the brevity of their exchange, a bond formed between the women, forged in the shared intimacy alongside Tyson. As the woman had so eloquently exclaimed on Haven, 'Their paths had converged, driven by a common purpose, and now their destinies intertwined.'
T'Pol accessed the communication system, continuing her log entry. "I find my thoughts drifting to the universe I left behind. Captain Archer and the crew of the Enterprise. I think about the familiar faces and shared mission that once defined my existence. I cannot help but wonder how they are faring without my presence, and if my absence has influenced the course of events. Tyson assured me that my contributions were invaluable to their success. He acknowledged the significance of my expertise and unique insights, but I find myself questioning those reassurances. I strive to compartmentalize my emotions, to subdue the longing that tugs at my consciousness. But even I am not impervious to the memories, and the wonder of what could have or should have been. However, I remain committed to the present. While I am plagued by moments of introspection, I reaffirm my dedication to this new endeavor."
T'Pol's voice held its usual composed tone, though a hint of introspection laced her words. "I have observed the unwavering devotion the Tarellians display towards Tyson, their fervent admiration for his actions. I, too, have witnessed his remarkable abilities and the impact he has had on countless lives, including my own. He has saved me on numerous occasions, just as he has saved others. His selflessness and unwavering dedication are undeniable." Pausing for a moment, T'Pol's gaze turned inward, reflecting on the complexities that lay beneath the surface. "I must acknowledge that I am drawn to him on a physical level. But is there something more? Something deeper? Love is an emotion that Vulcans have long struggled to understand and control."
She took a slow breath, her voice betraying a trace of vulnerability. "I find myself yearning for more. He has shown me worlds and experiences that I had deemed impossible. Yet, I find myself questioning my devotion. Am I capable of the same level of unwavering commitment as the Tarellians?"
T'Pol considered Visas Marr's previous words, the unspoken complexities of their evolving relationship, and the silent nuances that bound them together. She knew that even if they walked separate paths and took quests that led them away, just as Tyson had, their paths would intersect again. Visas was undeterred in her devotion to Tyson and her belief that their destinies were intertwined by fate and the bonds they had formed. And at that moment, T'Pol found solace in her faith, and the knowledge that they were united, even as they pursued their separate goals.
"Computer. End Log."

Question for Reviewers:
1. This was the first chapter with lightsaber combat using the new format. How was the immersion? Did I do a decent job portraying the flow of battle, even without the numbers as a reference?
2. Was this type of Interlude preferable?
