Darkness filled up the last remains of the universe. Pit slowly started to wake up. "Huh? W-What happened?" he said. "Wait! Why can't a feel my body anymore? The last thing I remember is my evil brother knocking me to the core of the universe..." Suddenly, he noticed something. "W-What is this? Is this supposed to be...a soul?" he continued. "Maybe I can find somebody to tell me what's going on." He then flew around the dark area to figure out what happened. Just then, he bumped into something. "Hey! Isn't that another soul?" he wondered. "Wait a minute. If that's a soul then...I'M ALSO A SOUL?!" Unfortunately, that soul was another one of his allies; his goddess Palutena. "W-Where am I?" she wondered. "Am I turned into a soul? I just saw another one. How did this happen?!" "I really need to find some answers from somebody," said Pit as he continued to look around to find out what was going on. He then bumped into another soul. "Why is there another one? What's going on here?!" he exclaimed and failed to notice that this soul was another one of his allies; his love, the Second Goddess of Nature, Viridi. "How did I even get in this dark space?!" she yelled. "I need to find a way out of here!" "What is going on here?!" Pit exclaimed. "Where's Lady Palutena, Pittoo, Viridi, or anybody else?! I must keep searching." As he continued, he passed another soul, who was another one of his allies; the Lightning Nymph, Phosphora. "Where's Pittoo?" she wondered. "He must be around here somewhere. I must find the exit soon and then find the dark angel." Pit still tried to figure out where he was and what was going on. But as he continued onwards, he saw more and more souls. They were all his allies, gods, humans, and other living creatures who died from the explosion once the whole universe was destroyed. Lucifer was also there. "I guess my work here is done," he said. "It's a shame that I have to live with these fools, but no matter. They'll never know they're trapped here, except for one." Once Pit finally realized what happened, he began to cry. "No...NO! We're all DEAD!" he exclaimed. "We're trapped here in this everlasting darkness! This must be something called the 'Void!' We'll never escape any longer! WWWWWHHHHHHYYYYYYY?!" Pit continued to cry after realizing the truth. They were stuck in the Void forever. No soul could rest in peace. Dark Pit was not there, because he was just an empty clone of Pit with no soul. All of the souls gathered here were trapped in the purgatory with no exit. It was only just...darkness...
