Well, here we go for the Epilogue of the Bad Ending. There's going to be a bit more sadness than a few would even think, including me. You already know the drill, so sit back and continue to sob in tears as you continue reading this route.

A few months have passed since the funeral. Palutena was in her room of her temple still watching over the heavens and saw humans praying to the gods everywhere. "I'm happy that the humans are still safe after all we've been through," she sighed. "Even though many lives have been lost during the war, we still protect them." But, even though she loved seeing the humans safe and sound, she still frowned about losing her only angel servant from the Void by Lucifer and Dark Pit fading away after he died. "I wish I could see my little sweetie again," she sighed, sadly. "Even so, it's still my duty to protect humanity in the Overworld as I watch from the heavens. But..." She took out the same two photos again. "I miss him so much..." She then had a small tear escape from her right eye. "*sniff* I still keep my promise from you, Pit," she continued with a sniffle. "I'm not going to ruin our legacy we fought for. It's still my duty to protect mankind in case monsters appear to attack the humans again." She continued to watch the Overworld in case the humans get attacked again.
Meanwhile in Viridi's temple, the Goddess of Nature herself and Phosphora were still crying over the loss of the light and dark angels. "I loved Pit!" Viridi sobbed. "I wish I showed my feelings for him before he died! I miss him so much! I WANT HIM BACK HOME!" "I-I feel the same way, Mistress," Phosphora cried. "Dark Pit was a kind person to me before he disappeared. He was right about them being connected as Two Sides of the Same Coin! I MISS HIM A LOT!" Arlon frowned to see the commotion happening. "It appears that they cannot let go of the past just yet," he told Cragalanche. "We must give them time to calm down and hopefully they can come back to their usual selves." Cragalanche nodded in agreement, but also had a single tear escape from his left eye. After a while, the girls stopped crying and calmed down. Viridi then walked up to Arlon. "Arlon... Is it okay if I take a walk outside?" she asked the Serene. "You can, Mistress, but only if you come back in about five hours," Arlon replied. "Don't worry, I will," Viridi promised and teleported to the Overworld. "I'm sure she'll be fine," said Phosphora. "But I just realized that it's raining outside. Must be because Viridi is connected to the weather itself, and when she cries, rain comes pouring down." "You're right, Miss Phosphora," said Arlon. "Let's hope Mistress Viridi comes back safely." They all waited in the living room for their supreme leader of the Forces of Nature to come back.

Viridi arrived at the Overworld to go for a walk. "I wonder how the other humans are doing with their lives," she said to herself. She then walked around the town to see all the human praying to the gods. Along the way, she also noticed them planting seeds to grow beautiful flowers and feeding the animals their food. "Mommy!" said a little boy. "I want to help Nature itself to keep everyone happy." "We're all happy to have everyone together," said his mother. "This is for our angel who gave us the final sacrifice to save our world. All of his friends deserve everything since they helped him throughout his journey." "You're right, mommy," said the little boy. Viridi smiled sadly to hear that. "I'm glad to see them caring about all of us," she said. "I'm sure everyone is doing their best to keep us gods occupied. I don't think I'll ever release more Reset Bombs." She then continued onwards until she stopped both mentally and physically in her tracks and began to sob. She arrived at the resting places of the Three Angel Brothers and quickly ran to them as fast as she could. After arriving closer to Pit's grave, she fell to her knees. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" she screamed in sadness as a lightning bolt struck from the rainstorm. All the humans quickly heard her scream and came out of their houses and watched her sob. They all frowned to see her like that. "*sob* WHY?! DID THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ALL OF US?!" Viridi cried. "WHY IS IT WHEN I'M SO HAPPY TO HAVE HIM PROTECT US UNTIL HE GETS TAKEN AWAY FROM THAT MONSTER?!" She continued to sob as she covered her face with her hands. "I NEVER FELT PAIN AND GRIEF LIKE THIS IN DECADES! THE LAST TIME I FELT THIS WAS WHEN I LOST MY MOTHER, GAIA!" But after a while, she stopped sobbing and slowly got back up to her feet. "You've been a mighty protector for us, Pit, but now, you and your brothers need a rest," she continued. "I'll never forget any of you, even though you were the one who did all of this, Lucifer. Your parents are there for you and my mom wants me to stay strong. Goodbye, Pit...my love... And...goodbye to you, too, Dark Pit and...Lucifer..." She then teleported back to her temple as quickly as possible and the humans went back to their houses with sad looks on their faces.

This was really the most saddest part of the story I have ever written down of my life. But, we are still not done with the story just yet. Just because we've finished the Good Route of the story, doesn't mean that we're done with everything. Stay tuned for the beginning of the Evil Route starting back at chapter six, review, and have a great day.
