All My Children

The next morning, Bonnie & I headed over to Caroline's. I was still annoyed by what she said to me last night but it's Bonnie. She was always blunt and said what I needed to hear.

Elena had told us about how Esther did something with Sage and made it so no vampire could hear their conversation. I knew a verbal spell that achieved the same thing but Bonnie was interested in testing the sage out for herself.

"So Damon slept with Rebekah." Elena said, the amount of disgust in her voice was alarming. Rebekah really wasn't that bad, she only tried to kill Elena because Elena stabbed her in the back.

Other than that the only thing the blonde did was do what her brother asked which any of us would do in the same position.

"You think it was hot?" I asked, Elena glared at me. She looked like she actually wanted to fight. Hmmm, looks like she might really be into Damon.

"He was like gloating, like an actual gloat." Elena said, I think she wanted us to be angry with her but none of us really could care less about what Damon did with his dick as long as he kept it away from us." Like he was proud of himself for sleeping with her. Is it working?"

"It's not working." Caroline replied pushing the door open."I can hear every word you're saying about Damon. The vampire gigolo."

"It's a waste when I already taught you a spell that does the same thing, granted it's a small space spell but still." I said, crossing my legs on the bed.

"It's a tricky spell." Bonnie replied shooting me a look."And a small space spell is nothing compared to the sage.

"When Esther did it, she kept the sage burning. There was a lot more smoke." Elena commented, I scoffed now she was suddenly the burning sage expert.

"Alright, let's try again." Bonnie said, she & Elena looked at Caroline who sighed, I hopped out of the bed and went out into the hallway with her.

Caroline & I stood out in the hallway, well she stood. I sat down on the steps as soon as we came out here. I frowned since I couldn't really hear them but Caroline's facial expressions said she definitely heard them.

"What are they saying?" I asked, Caroline plopped down on the steps beside me, smashing me against the wall in the process.

"Esther stopped by while you were asleep to introduce herself. She's apparently channeling your bloodline." Caroline said, I scrunched up my face. I didn't give anybody consent to touching my magic.

"The fuck?"

"And she's gonna kill her kids." Caroline said, the two of us shot up at the same time Caroline pushed open the door while I took my previous seat on the bed." Okay, first of all this privacy spell isn't working. Second, Elena, you aren't doing anything Esther is."

"It's no time to change your mind Elena." Bonnie said she looked at me warily. I could visibly see she was biting her tongue." He'll be dead by the night."

"Bonnie what the hell?" I asked sitting up, I thought she was acting funny but I had no idea this was why.

"It's a full moon. Esther needs to harness the power of a celestial event. She asked me & Abby to join her." Bonnie explained, I rolled my eyes. Yes, leave it to another dead witch to exclude me from something. I was confused why Bonnie would even share this information with me.

"Why would you do that? Other than Klaus what did the rest of them do to you?" I asked shocked Bonnie would agree to murder them and she didn't even know them.

"She said you would say that, and I'm sorry." Bonnie grabbed my forehead, I panicked because the moment she did it. I felt absolutely nothing. She binded my magic the exact same way Jonas did us."To keep you safe, I have to keep you from intervening."

"Fuck off." I scoffed snatching myself out of her grip, I had zero desire to stick around after that. I went straight out the door, Caroline tried to stop me but I side stepped her and kept going.

Dad returned the rental this morning so I literally would have to walk home and that's absolutely okay right now. Maybe the amount of time it'll take me to get home will give me time to cool off.

When I got close to being home I decided against going home, I knew Mom was there and there's no way she didn't know what Bonnie was going to do. I went to the grill and sat down at the bar, I absolutely needed a very strong drink right now.

It took a lot of flirting with the bartender but I was able to get a Long Island Iced-Tea he'd mentioned something about the guy before him getting fired for serving the Sheriff's daughter and not wanting to end up like him. I laughed because .. It was definitely warranted.

Alaric & Meredith are at the other end of the bar and I was too wrapped up in self-pity that I had zero desire to even listen to what they were talking about.

"Ah, don't go blaming the new family in town just cause you've got yourselves a killer at large. Don't mind us my brother and I are just here to let off some steam." Klaus said, I raised my eyebrow surprised to see either of them here. But I didn't even want to engage with them either.

I sipped my drink and slouched down hoping I'd just become invisible if I got low enough. After a word from Klaus the bartender kept on serving me, the drinks went from Tea to way stronger and I was not complaining about it.

After my third drink, I slunk over to the brothers. I took the chair closest to Kol and put my chin into the back of my hands.

"Hi."

"Nice of you to join us, little witch." Klaus grinned holding his glass up, the bartender came straight over and topped his glass off.

"I was wondering how long you'd try to hide in that corner." Kol said his face looked slightly concerned or maybe it was my buzzed brain telling me that's what it was."Why do you look like you're drinking away your troubles?"

"Bonnie-" I started but stopped talking, Caroline walked in and both brothers' attention went from me to her. If I was insecure or sober that definitely would've bothered me.

"I remember her from last night, Alicia's friend." Kol commented, I was surprised that was all he said.

"Oh it's you." Caroline said looking at Klaus distastefully, her eyes landed on me and I saw a sparkle of what looked like regret.

"Join us for a drink? Alicia's here." Klaus winked but I scoffed, Caroline didn't do anything to me but I didn't want her here. I didn't even want her around Klaus right now, knowing what might happen to them later and she actively sought him out probably to play Blonde distraction.

"Nah, she can go." I dismissed finishing off the rest of my drink. Caroline gave me a look she was trying to have one of Bonnie & I's twin telepathy moments but it wasn't working.

"I'd rather die of thirst anyway, but thanks." Caroline turned on her heel and walked off. I rolled my eyes already knowing exactly what was coming next.

"Isn't she stunning?" Klaus asked Kol, he was busy staring at me, I blushed a bit and looked down.

"She is. Although she certainly looks good walking away from you." Kol teased, I also knew what was coming next here.

"I'll take that as a challenge." Klaus hopped up from his seat and chased after Caroline, the moment the door closed I slouched a bit closer to Kol.

"You were about to tell us what was bothering you?"

"Bonnie took my powers." I replied pouting, I reached to grab the rest of Klaus' drink but Kol slid it out of my reach slightly.

"I think you've had enough."

"I'll listen but only because you might kill me if I didn't." I replied, resting my head on my arm.

"Why would she take your powers?"

"Alicia!" Meredith called out, I lifted my head surprised the two of them were even still here. I assumed they would've chased after Klaus.

"God you're drunk." Alaric commented, taking one look at me, I huffed. I'd been drinking already and I'm sure they saw so this was a stupid comment.

"Leave me alone." I hissed, Meredith grabbed my arm I started to try and melt her brain but frowned when I forgot. I pulled my arm back and pushed myself farther against the bar.

"She's fine." Kol hissed standing up and putting himself in front of me. I jumped when I noticed his body go limp and grey veins start to cover him. Meredith stood in front of him as if she was trying to block what they just did.

"What are you doing?" I immediately reached for the dagger but Alaric grabbed my arm pulling me away.

"I know you've got stockholm syndrome but do not screw this up." Alaric whispered lowly. Alaric gave Meredith a look before taking Kol away, the doctor sat down next to me as if she was keeping an eye on me.

I noticed Klaus' discarded drink still sitting on the table. I slithered my hand over to it and gripped the cup gently. I quickly picked the drink up and tossed it in Meredith's face and bolted from my seat to where Alaric had gone.

Klaus had the dagger in his hand and Kol's skin was returning to normal; it looked like he'd wrecked havoc on them. Alaric & Stefan were slumped against the wall while Klaus had his hand in Damon's chest.

"Leave him! We still need him, Niklaus." Elijah said, I flinched; he'd appeared out of nowhere.

"What did Mother do? What did she do, Elijah?" Klaus demanded, I was a bit annoyed. I picked a shitty time to get drunk because I definitely sobered up once I saw Kol get daggered.

Elijah looked at Damon and pulled out his phone." You tell me where the witches are or I'll have my sister kill Elena right now."

"You told me we had until after nine o'clock!" Damon cried out, Klaus stared at me almost as if he just noticed I was here. My heart dropped knowing if Damon didn't give them what they wanted, they'd be asking me where Bonnie & Mom were.

"I'm sure Rebekah would be more than happy to start her work early." Elijah replied, Klaus rushed at me and grabbed me by the arms carrying me off before I could even react.

When he stopped we were far away from the others which meant if I fucked up, I wouldn't be receiving any help.

"Little witch." Klaus warned, I gritted my teeth nervously."I'll give you one chance to tell me."

"I'm not sure where they are. Bonnie took my powers so I couldn't get involved." I replied, Klaus stared at me studying me for any signs of Deception.

"You need to think harder." Klaus said, I was taken aback at the bit of patience he was showing me."Where would you go?"

"Promise me you won't hurt my sister or my mom?" I asked, if Klaus was truly a man of his word and if he had any respect for me than he'd do this for me.

"You have my word, now tell me."

"The same place they were hiding the coffins from you." I said, wordless Klaus grabbed my arm and carried me off again, I blinked shocked when the two of us ended up in front of the witch house his siblings weren't too far behind him.

I thought Klaus would let me go but I was surprised when it turned into him holding one arm around my waist and the other was around my neck.

The fucker made me leverage.

"No it's too soon. The moon isn't high enough. Go quickly." Esther said, I stared in disbelief as Bonnie & Abby (yes she's been downgraded back to that), did as she said without even sending a second glance my way.

"What are you doing?" I mumbled lowly, Klaus jerked my head back I flinched as a reflex as he ducked his head closer.

"I'm not gonna hurt you, she needs to think your bloodline is in danger. You may have no power and she may not want you, but you still are important to her plans."

I let out a yelp as I jerked my head away, Esther and Finn step inside the pentagon she'd drawn on the ground. If my knowledge of magic was as great as I insist it was then there was no way for any of us to enter after them.

"That's lovely, we are stuck out here while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb. How pathetic you are Finn." Kol spat and he had a point, however it was something they'd created for themselves. A thousand years in solitude would make any one go crazy.

"Be quiet,Kol. Your brother knows virtue you cannot imagine." Esther replied, her eyes flickered to me as if she'd just noticed I was here. She looked as if she could careless about me.

"Whatever you think of us, killing your own children would be an atrocity." Elijah yelled, he wasn't wrong but he definitely wasn't right either.

"Enough all this talk is boring to me. End this now Mother or I'll send you back to hell." Klaus yelled, out the corner of my eye I spotted the front door of the house open back up. I narrowed my eyes catching sight of Abby. Was she coming back for me?

"For a thousand years, I've been forced to watch you. I felt the pain of every victim, suffered while you shed blood. Even you Elijah, with your claim to nobility you're no better." Esther spat, it looked like her words were actually getting to them. I flinched when I noticed Damon grab Abby, I watched in horror as he tore into his wrist and dragged her back inside the house."All of you, you're a curse on this earth that stretched generations. If you've come to plead for your lives, I'm sorry you've wasted your time."

"Klaus let me go." I whispered, I felt a flutter of something it was enough to confirm my suspicions."They did it."

"What?" Klaus asked his grip loosened on me.

"No. Sisters! Do not abandon me." Esther cried out, flames appeared surrounding the pentagon. They became so brilliant and strong we had to shield our eyes. When the flames finally died down Esther and Finn were nowhere to be seen.

I dropped to my knees as tears rolled down my cheeks, Elijah was by my side before I could even breath.

"Are you hurt? Niklaus what was the meaning of that?" Elijah asked checking me over for injuries. I rubbed my eyes and stared at the house. I knew Abby was dead. I wondered if Bonnie knew it yet.

"I didn't do anything to her."

"I need to go inside." I said weakly, I forced myself up from the ground and headed into the house. The last thing I needed to see was another member of my family dead but I needed to know why it happened. There's always another way. The easiest path isn't always the best path.

I dropped to my knees when I saw Abby's dead body on the living room floor, Damon didn't even care enough to handle her corpse respectfully. Bonnie had just entered the room, she looked just as upset as I did. We didn't say a thing to each other we just ran into each other's arms, Bonnie gave me back my magic in the process while we cried.

Everything Mystic Falls touches turns to shit.

Bonnie got herself together enough to call Caroline, who'd move Abby for us. Bonnie headed off with Caroline while I opted to go home, I didn't want to be around anybody. Funny how I'd spent most of the day feeling that way and now I'd be ending it this way too.

I changed out of my clothes and laid down in bed, I felt numb and I hated it. I knew Abby would wake back up as a vampire, but somehow this still felt horrible. We'd just gotten our mother back only for this to happen to her.

I heard a clank at my window and frowned, when I was outside earlier it wasn't windy and I didn't have a tree by my window so nothing should be tapping it. I heard another clank before I climbed out of bed and jumped, Kol stood on the roof staring into my window.

I threw it open and sat down, I wasn't crazy enough to invite him in but I was curious what he was doing here.

"Kol?"

"Hello, Darling." He grinned, he had a dazzling smile. It was so nice it made me want to smile back at him. If I were in a better mood I probably would.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm leaving town, I just wanted to check on you before I did." He answered, I was touched. From what I'd heard Kol had a reputation just as bad as Klaus and yet I hadn't seen any sign of that myself.

"I'm fine, Damon turned my mom." I explained running my hands through my hair.

"I can kill him before I go?" Kol offered I pursed my lips together definitely considering how good of an idea that sounded.

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"No." I replied, shaking my head, but I was sure of one thing."Would you like to come in?"

"I know my good looks are distracting but little witch you've just invited me inside your home where not just you live." Kol pointed out, I shrugged that's a problem for another day.

"And you're the only one I've invited in." I smiled moving out the way, in one swift motion he jumped into the window. For a moment we just stood staring at the other neither of us spoke, when I looked into Tyler's eyes it never felt anywhere near this intense.

"Darling." Kol purred, I rolled my eyes and threw myself into his arms crashing my lips against his. What? I said the next time he called me darling I was gonna have to get some of that.

The kiss started off soft before growing more and more ferocious. The next thing I knew I was laying on my back with Kol on top of me. I broke the kiss for a moment to give myself a second to breathe. Just because he didn't need to didn't mean I didn't.

I was happy that I changed my tank top and shorts would take two seconds to get off and I couldn't wait. Kol looked at me, he looked like he wanted to ask if I was reconsidering but I grabbed the back of his neck and dove back in for another kiss.

I'm noticing a pattern here.

I seem to crave intimacy when shits hitting the fan.

Maybe I really am going batshit crazy.
