As you can tell, this is the epilogue after the terrifying Evil Ending. The universe has fallen apart, humans are dying from getting mauled and shot to death by Lucifer's monstrous minions, and Evil Pit's insanity has come out to bring nothing but pain and agony to everyone. After walking through the decimated town, Evil Pit caught up to Lucifer who was standing still right in front of him. "We have destroyed everything, Nature is burnt to a crisp, and all the pathetic mortals have been killed by our bloody hands," said Lucifer. "However, there is only one human standing in our way. He's trying to stop us from continuing any further." "Who?" Evil Pit asked. "Your old used-to-be human friend..." Lucifer replied as he and his brother looked at a familiar muscular human with a giant sword, purple colored armor, and, surprisingly to Lucifer, a healed left leg while staring at the brothers with fury in his eyes. "So, I see that you're still kicking than I thought...Magnus..." said Lucifer. "Now how did you manage to recover that quickly? I thought you out of that tower to injure you with a broken leg?" Magnus stared at the angels with his angry eyes as a flashback explained what happened earlier.

Magnus' POV

After our battle in that tower, and also after you threw me down from it and broke my leg, I struggled to head back home. Once I got back, my broken leg was still in bad shape because of you! Once I got back to my house, I had to put on the armor Gaol once wore because she was dead. I couldn't let the past go not after what Lucifer did to her. "If only I stopped him from attacking you..." I said. "There must be a way to stop this chaos from continuing." But before I was about to put the armor on, I felt a presence appearing right behind me. "Who's there?!" I exclaimed and once I turned around, I saw Palutena. "Magnus, you're our last chance to stop them," she told me. "Those monsters killed me and now they're going to get rid of Dark Pit before eliminating Viridi, the Goddess of Nature." I noticed that she had tears falling out from her eyes while smiling sadly. "It is your destiny to defeat Pit and Lucifer," she continued. "I can't live on for much longer, so I'm going to give you the last of my powers. This is going to help you defeat the brothers once and for all!" Suddenly, I felt a strange glow appearing from my body. After the glowing stopped, my leg was back to normal and I felt my strength growing even stronger. "What is this?" I asked the Goddess of Light. "This power is going to summon a hidden form that I haven't used for a long time ever since I banished Lucifer from Skyworld many years ago," Palutena explained. "You must use it once you have Gaol's armor on so that you can stop the angel brothers once and for all. The last fate of our universe rests in your hands. Farewell..." After that, she disappeared. I swore to myself that I would find and defeat you two for what you did to us! I then put on the armor and head out to find you.

"And now, the rest is history once I'm done with you monsters!" Magnus concluded once the flashback ended. "You slaughtered many innocents, including my close friend! We were a good team together until you murdered her! I can't forgive you for what you've done!" "What do you even expect from us, Magnus?" said Lucifer. "We are making sure that all living creatures get what they deserve. Nobody should continue with their lives after what we've been through." This made Magnus shocked to hear what the Devil said to him. And on top of that, he gasped in horror to see Evil Pit and his terrifying look. "Pit, why are you doing this to us?!" he shouted. "Our entire race is being devastated by this monster! Do you have any idea who he is?! He is NOT your brother! He is a monster!" "SHUT UP!" Evil Pit snapped, causing Magnus to be taken aback from his sudden outburst. "You don't know ANYTHING about our family rights! My mom and dad died because of that cursed Goddess of Nature, Gaia. Viridi deserved to die because she was her daughter. Palutena was only using me as a tool, so I decided to give her a taste of her own medicine!" Magnus couldn't believe what he heard from the evil angel. The once known ally who helped him against the Underworld army was now a cursed being working with his Devil brother. Seeing this made Lucifer smile with sinister glee. "Look at you. Thinking you can bring my brother back to the light!" he laughed. "The light has faded away from all of us. This world will be covered in darkness from the power of Abyss. If you think you stand a chance against the Angel Brothers, you'll just die trying. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" This was where Magnus snapped as his eyes widen in both shock and anger. "You... YOU! YOU ARE BOTH DISGRACES TO THE ENTIRE WORLD! IT'S TIME FOR MANKIND TO FIGHT BACK!" he yelled as he activated his new form Palutena kept for many years before handing her powers to him; the Light Form. "What you do not know is that we prepared for this!" said Lucifer as he brought out his Three Sacred Treasures to become the Abyss Knight, while Evil Pit brought out his own to create the Silver Armor. "Let's dance, Magnus!" he said as all three warriors prepared themselves to begin the fight.
Music stops and switches to: Liquid Negrocity - Midnight Crew from Henry Spencer (A.K.A. The Angel Brothers' Battle Theme)
"Let's see if you can dodge this!" Magnus yelled as his sword glowed brightly and he charged at the angel brothers. But even with the power absorbed within from the late Goddess of Light, Evil Pit and Lucifer were still vicious and cunning in playing their victim right into their hands. "You may be powerful, but you're nothing compared to ours!" said Lucifer. "Let's counterattack with a burning passion!" He then focused his power to his Sword of Fire and brought a powerful parry attack to stop Magnus' attack. This caused the human to tumble back in shock as he wasn't expecting the Devil to do that. "You'll pay for that!" he yelled in anger and suddenly did something different. He summoned Centurions in their memory-like forms, like the Forces of Nature's commanders Viridi did to fight against Pit before her death, and ordered them to fight against the angel brothers. But despite Magnus' best efforts to fend them off, the Memory Centurions were still getting defeated by their enemies. "You are going to pay for murdering all of the innocent humans! Including my close friend, Gaia!" Magnus yelled in fury. "We were all living our peaceful lives before you took them away! Why would you even do something like that to us! TELL ME!" "You humans are just puny Overworld bugs who are desperately ready to be squashed underfoot!" Lucifer replied. "You're the next one ready to be killed by us! Icarus and I wish to eliminate this useless world and merge it with Abyss! I would tell you more about it, but you'll die already before you figure it out once we devour your soul whole!" Magnus turned to face the angel and struck with his sword, but Evil Pit blocked it with his Mirror Shield. "Is that the best you can do?" he taunted. "Let's try THIS!" He then fired multiple Arrows of Light at Magnus into his stomach, causing him to tumble backwards in pain. Then, Lucifer charged at Magnus before bashing him with his Flaming Shield to knock him right into a wall of a building. Magnus slowly got back up after the impact. But before he could prepare his next move, he was suddenly stabbed by Lucifer's sword, causing a big wound to bleed out from his stomach. With the human still caught in the Sword of Fire, Lucifer flew away from the building and charged at Evil Pit. "ICARUS! NOW!" he ordered and Evil Pit split his bow into two before the both of them caused a fatal stab into Magnus' still open wound, defeating him and losing his powers while falling to the ground into his knees.

"Urk... Why did you do this to us?!" Magnus groaned in pain, while still holding on this his open wound. "Don't you have any remorse about the many people you killed?! What would your parents think about this?!" This only angered Lucifer as he furiously slapped Magnus' face. "Shut up! My family didn't deserve to die but others should because of what we've been through!" he shouted. "Gaia got what she deserved and so did her cursed daughter, Viridi. Her foolish commanders were just mere pawns of them. That also included Palutena, because she was only using us as little toys! So we became our own masters and soon, we'll become the new rulers of the new world!" "That's a lie! The Goddess of Light would never betray mankind!" Magnus argued. "YOU are the cause of this! YOU manipulated your brother to slaughter innocents! WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING TO ALL OF US?!" Lucifer smiled a sinister smile in reply before snickering ruthlessly. "Hehehehe. Insolent humans like you don't know anything about our pain," he scoffed. "We waited for the perfect opportunity to strike after what happened to our parents. We wanted to rule a new world away from you lot. That's why I needed my brother to help me complete the machine so that I can kill Gaia." "WHAT?!" Magnus exclaimed in shock as a flashback began to show what happened in the past.

Lucifer's POV

Our father was busy setting up a machine that can create portals to allow anyone to travel through time and space. He said that he was having trouble finishing it because the systems kept malfunctioning. Thus allowing it to become incomplete. So we made a deal. I promised to help him finish up the machine so that we can give it a test run to see if it will work properly. But before we were about to get the chance, tragedy struck because of Gaia! I lost my parents because of that goddess and I swore to get my revenge on her for taking them away from me! I attempted to complete the machine myself, but the results kept ending in failure. No matter how many times I tried, the systems still kept malfunctioning. That was where my brother, Icarus, came in. He helped me finish the machine and later on join me by my side to eliminate those who don't understand about our pain and dare to defy our ultimate power. He now became second-in command of the Dark Allies clan. He would help us complete our goals to fight for our family rights.

"You?! I can't believe it!" Magnus exclaimed at Evil Pit. "How could you betray humanity for your family's rights?! Have you ever felt pity or remorse after killing someone who was close to you and her army?!" But the angel could only stare at the human with menacing bloody eyes. "My family is dead because of Viridi's cursed mother!" he growled. "Her daughter and commanders deserved to die after taking everything away from us! I followed my brother's path to create a new world we wish to rule after destroying this pathetic universe. All of you are insolent, worthless, and weak little bugs just waiting to be crushed by our own hands!" Magnus couldn't believe what his former ally said to him. Ever since their first mission together to save Gaol from the Underworld army, they became good friends. But now, Gaol was murdered by the angel's evil brother and soon realized that both of them were working together. How could the angel do this to him? "Well, since we don't need anymore human souls for the ritual now that it's complete, we'll instead leave you here to be devoured by my demonic minions," Lucifer snickered, sinisterly. "Come, Icarus. We still have more work to do. There are still more humans left to eliminate." Evil Pit nodded and the two brothers walked away from Magnus. "Wait! Pit! Can't you just reconsider your choices and get away from that monster?!" he cried to the angel. "You have to snap out of it! This isn't you!" But the brothers could only turn their heads back to the human and stare at them with black bloody eyes before disappearing. Just when he was about to find shelter to escape, there were unusual growling coming from behind. He turned around to see four demonic monsters with unusual appearances. One was a red bear with a missing ear, top hat, black bowtie, two buttons, and glowing yellow eyes while holding a microphone in his hand. Another was a white bunny with a white bowtie and missing eyes. It also seemed to be holding a makeshift knife in its hand. Another was a green fox amalgamation that had an extra endoskeleton head coming out from one side, wearing a purple bowtie, missing body parts that made it only show its endoskeleton, and glowing yellow eyes like the red demonic bear. The last one was a black dog, but it had glowing red eyes and looked mighty hungry for human flesh. Magnus watched in horror as he attempted to get up and run away from them, but to no avail. "N-No! Get away from me! Don't-!" he cried, but it was too late. The four monsters suddenly lunged at the human before devouring his body whole. Magnus screamed in terror and agony as he tried to push them away, but it was no use. Soon enough, they finished their meal. Leaving Magnus' remains only in bones.

Meanwhile, the brothers arrived at an old abandoned house. "What are we doing here, Lucifer?" Evil Pit asked. "There are two mortals we need to eliminate, Icarus," Lucifer explained. "You may have recognized them when you were with Magnus before when the Chaos Kin and I began the most recent step of our master plan. Once we get rid of them for good, this universe will be merged with Abyss and our army will grow stronger! It shouldn't be difficult to find them here, so let's search around and find them. But we better keep ourselves quiet, because they might not know that we're here. We cannot lose the element of surprise." Evil Pit nodded and the two of them made their way through the house to find their targets.
Meanwhile, inside a dark room of the house, a little girl was hiding inside to catch the culprits, despite the risk that they were very dangerous. Turns out, that was the same little girl who ran away from Lucifer's menacing words after revealing his disguise while possessing Pit's body in the past. I can't let them continue any longer! she thought in fear. If nobody can stop them, then we will have to do it. I lost my parents because of that monster, and now our angelic hero betrayed us! It's time for us to have our justice! They will pay! She held a small knife, covered what appeared to be holy water, together in her hands so that she can strike them down. Even though she had a feeling that it might not work. Suddenly, she heard the door open. It's them! I have to do this for my family! she thought as she quickly rushed out of her hiding spot and attacked what she saw in the shadows with her knife. But once she attacked what she saw, it turns out she attacked... "T-Trent?!" she exclaimed as she gasped in fear that hanging on a rope was her dead dog's corpse. She would've began to vomit if she had the chance, but the sight of this horrifying dead body of the only thing she had left of her family was too much for her to bear. "This can't be real! This can't be real! This can't be real!" she cried in horror. "Who would do such a thing to him?!" But while she was looking at her dog's corpse, she didn't hear footsteps coming right behind her through the open door. "ME...!" replied a sinister voice and before the girl could react, her attacker slit her throat with a sword. As she fell to the floor and coughed out blood, she looked up to see who did it. N-no! she gasped in thought. It's... It's him! The one who killed mommy and daddy; Lucifer! "Did you seriously think you could ambush us, Lily?" the Devil questioned. "I've seen a few mortals did this trick before killing them. Usually, it doesn't work. Me and Icarus are not stupid. The Dark Allies and Abyss never have visitors." The girl couldn't believe what she was listening to. The murderer of her own parents has lost his mind. What's worse is that Pit, the hero who saved this world countless times, has joined his evil brother. He betrayed all of mankind. She even heard the dreaded news that Palutena, Viridi, and all of the other gods were killed by their hands. Pit... Why would you do this...? she thought in fear. You helped us to stop the monsters, yet you were working with the killer the whole time?! I'm sorry mommy, daddy, and Trent. I failed to stop them! "We're in control of this inferior universe now! We're taking what is rightfully ours!" Lucifer continued. "You humans are energy sources for us. Allowing this world to be merged with Abyss before we recreate it to become the new world we wish to rule! Resistance against our ultimate power is futile. I warned you to run away in fear away from the town, but you instead tried to stop us. Only leading you to your demise of your pathetic life." All the girl could do was watch the evil smiles of the sinister Devil and his evil angel brother. But then, her eyes started to close slowly. "Are you going to say anything or just lay on the ground and bleed there?" Lucifer asked. The girl couldn't respond to the question but instead closed her eyes until her breathing slowed down. This feels...warm... she thought as the pain started to fade away. Is this... what mommy and daddy felt... before they... died...? Those were her last thoughts before her body went completely limp and she died. "Urgh... Now we have this mess to clean up!" Lucifer complained. "There's no way my demons will eat this corpse. Once it's on the ground, it makes it to filthy to digest." It was until then Evil Pit walked up to his brother. "How about we feed her to the crows instead?" he suggested. "Maybe it will teach those foolish mortals to stay out of our way. We can also do the same thing with that canine as well." Lucifer nodded in agreement and the two of them picked up the corpses before heading outside.
Music stops and switches to: Alias Conrad Coldwood - Deadly Butterfly from Haxxed by STF (A.K.A. Destroyed World Theme)
After arriving at a field, the brothers dropped the corpses onto the grass. Somehow, Lucifer noticed something very familiar. "I remember this. This was the same field where I took Phosphora's corpse after she was executed," he said. "Watching her remains being devoured by the crows was satisfying." Pit raised an eyebrow in confused, noting that he didn't know what his brother was talking about. As to answer the question, Lucifer turned his head to face the angel. "Emperor Nero killed Phosphora with this very sword I have with me," he explained as he took out the Sword of Death. "After she was executed, I brought her corpse here so that the crows can have their feast. Speaking of which..." He then put two fingers in his mouth and whistled. "Oh, boys! Your dinner is served!" he called and suddenly, the same crows that ate Phosphora's dead body flew out from the trees and went down to the corpses. And as Lucifer stated earlier, they began to peck and devour the bodies. "Let them handle the feast, Icarus. We've finished our mission," said the Devil and as his brother nodded, the two of them left the field. Leaving the corpses of the dead girl and her dog, Trent, devoured by the hungry crows.
As the brothers walked through the town's decimated demise, they heard the cries of humans attempting to run away from Lucifer's hungry demonic minions. None of them were able to survive and instead eaten alive by the hungry monsters. They soon stopped in the middle of a road as they watched buildings destroyed and burnt to the ground, dead humans and animals eaten by more crows, and forests burnt crimson red and leafless as the rest of the universe has fallen within their grasp. Lucifer turned his head to look at his brother. "You go on ahead. I'll catch up to you in a moment," he told him. Evil Pit nodded and walked away while Lucifer looked down with a sinister smile. He then took out two different photographs. "This is only the beginning of the end. Now that we've destroyed this universe and merged it with Abyss, we shall bring more terror and destruction to all the other universes! Starting with a universe with multiple dimensions that has Icarus' old ally when he stopped the Subspace Army years ago. If I recall correctly, it happened to be a red plumber," he said to himself. "I wonder what would've happened if the outcome from these events were stopped from multiple resistances? Ah, whatever. It doesn't matter anymore. What's done is done. After all, I don't need these photos anymore." He tossed the two photographs before walking down the road, away from the destroyed town. One of them was him and his family, his parents and a younger Pit, in the past. The other one was Palutena and Pit before the goddess' death, sharing a hug together. Don't worry, mother and father. Icarus and I are going to avenge you! the Devil thought to himself as he continued to walk. We will kill all those who oppose our family rights! Once everything is destroyed, we will bring our family back together again! Together...we're gonna go home. I promise...

Wow. Such a deep and dark ending. The universe is destroyed and everyone is dead. This is also where the alternate timeline of my ultimate crossover series begins as well. Of course, starting with the Mario universe. However, we're not quite done with the story just yet. I still have a lot of other things planned for it and I promise you that you'll be seeing them it a matter of moments. So, to tell you this, stay tuned for the title screen of Lucifer's backstory; Episode Lucifer. Also, about the physical appearances of Lucifer's minions from a place called Abyss, they will be introduced a lot more in my future projects.
