Wow, ok so for those of you who have seen, Episode 2 of RWBY Volume 9 dropped yesterday on CrunchyRoll, and I could not have named the last chapter more perfectly. I won't spoil anything, but I had no idea about the name of the story they mentioned in the chapter, but what I named Chapter 1 fits pretty well with the story "The Girl Who Fell Through the World.'' Anywho, I'll try to update this story as often as possible. I need to be inspired when I write something, so I hope you enjoy this chapter, also feel free to leave a review with your criticism. I'm always looking to improve my writing (as you can probably tell I'm nowhere near the best). Also, fair warning, there is a pretty big lore dump in this chapter so be prepared for that, hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 2:

Red, White, Black, Yellow, and Silver

It was not long before Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, and Stone were called up to Ozpin's office. Stone was stressed, huddling towards the back of the elevator, thoughts raced through his mind as the group rode up to the top "Did I do something wrong? Was I not supposed to help these girls? Was this about me using magic in the forest?" Though he did not have long to contemplate these thoughts, as the elevator made a DIng, letting them know they had reached the top floor, Headmaster's Office. The doors slide open, and the group of five is greeted by the sight of a circular room with many gears turning, in the walls, under the floor, and in the ceiling. A large desk sits at the edge of the room, with Ozpin doing paperwork, five chairs sit in front of the desk.

Ozpin looks up from his work, sees the group and greets them "Ah, right on time, please have a seat if you all would."

Heeding his words, the five take a seat at the chairs, Ruby in the middle, with Weiss and Yang next to hear, and Blake and Stone sitting on the endcap seats.

"Now, do you five know why I wanted to speak to you?" Ozpin asks the group.

"I-is it about me?" Stone says tentatively, squirming a bit in his chair.

"Yes, in fact it is, but don't worry, it's nothing bad, I just have a question to ask you." Ozpin says in a reassuring tone. " I wanted to ask if you wished to enroll in Beacon Academy." The four girls let out a short gasp and Stone has a surprised look. He wants Stone to enroll in Beacon, this late? That's never been done before in Beacon's history.

"You did accompany Ruby and Weiss through the forest, you were present when Ruby chose her relic, and you also successfully returned to the top of the cliff, I count that as a successful trial, and don't think I didn't see you kill that Ursai with a single hit from that sword of yours, quite impressive, I believe you'd be a perfect fit for Beacon."

"Well, I'm not sure I have many other choices, or any other for that matter, so sure, I accept."

"Perfect, well then I think we're-" "On one condition" Ozpin starts with Stone interrupting, "That condition being?" Ozpin replies

"I don't want to have to wear a school uniform, they don't look good on me, and I have plenty of formal clothes to wear already." Stone says, confusing Ozpin a bit.

"A strange request, but not completely unreasonable, ok, granted, I'm pleased to accept you into Beacon Academy, one of the greatest academies on Remnant." Ozpin says.

"Well then, it's settled, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Stone, I'll see you all at the ceremony in an hour, please be punctual. You are dismissed." Ozpin says.

The five get up and head to the elevator, doors closing as they see Ozpin return to his work.

Ozpin reflects to himself "Could he be the one to help me free the Sparks?"

As the group rides the elevator down, Ruby glances towards Stone's necklace, "Hey Stone, I've been wanting to ask, what's that necklace?" Pointing at the small black hammer hanging from his neck.

"Oh this, it's a Pendant of Thor, the God of Thunder." Stone replies "Whoever wears a symbol of his is supposedly granted strength and Thor's divine protection and well being."

"Thor? God of Thunder? What are you on about?" says Yang.

"Oh that's right, Girls I've got something really important to tell you." Stone says.

'That is?" Blake replies.

"I'm not from Remnant." Stone says.

"... WAIT WHAT!" the four girls say in unison.

X

The group of five sat on a pair of benches, on opposing sides of each other, in a secluded part of the Beacon garden, the group had a while before they had to report to the main hall for their induction into the academy. And the group had much to discuss, with Stone having given them a massive shock on their way down from the Headmaster's office.

"Wait, so you're telling us that there are worlds beyond Remnant? And that you're from one of them?" Blake said, trying to understand what Stone had just told the group.

"That's right, Remnant is just one plane in what is known as the Multiverse, an infinitely large space that houses an Infinite amount of Planes separated by a space called the Blind Eternities, in fact the Plane I'm from is known as Mahou." Stone said, "and there are many more I have been to, Ravnica, Tarkir, Innistrad, and many more, each completely different from each other."

"And just how did you get to Remnant, if I might ask?" Weiss said, intrigue in her voice.

"Oh right, I forgot to mention, there are few people in the multiverse that can travel between Planes, called Planeswalkers, and I myself am one, which is how I got to Remnant. Although my arrival here was not completely… intentional." Stone explained, with a bit of sadness in his voice.

"Wait, not intentional, what do you mean by that?" Yang expectantly said.

"Well, you see, I was traveling through the Blind Eternities trying to get to another plane, when apparently Remnant got in the path I was taking and I crashed into it, and that's how I got here, strangely enough Remnant feels like it has a shield around it, preventing it from being seen by the Multiverse at large as well as preventing Planeswalkers from leaving the plane, which is why I both ended up crashing into the Plane and why I can't leave now." Stone said, the girls were barely able to grasp the fact that Remnant was not the only place in existence.

"So that means, you're not a Faunus?" Ruby said "No, I'm not, I'm actually a Dragon" Stone replied to the silver eyed girl.

"You mean that? A real Dragon? Like the ones in the fairy tales?" Ruby asks, awe in her eyes.

Stone thinks to himself "I've given these girls enough of a shock already, maybe I shouldn't tell them about my specific type of dragon just yet, it might make them even more confused, I'll just say I'm a Silver Dragon for now."

"Yep, where I'm from there are two types of dragons, Chromatic Dragons and Metallic Dragons. Chromatic Dragons are your typical evil dragon sitting in a cave on a pile of gold, attacking castles and whatnot, whereas Metallic Dragons are good, and usually help people, cure ailments, rule kingdoms, etcetera. I am a Silver Dragon so that means I'm a Metallic Dragon. As a Metallic Dragon I'm able to shift between two forms, my human form, which is the one you're seeing right now and of which I can augment to express more of my Dragonic traits, and my Dragon form which is completely Draconic." Stone replies, morphing his arm a bit into a shiny Silver scaled claw to show how he expresses his Dragon traits then quickly morphs it back into his human hand. "I also have the ability to use ice breath, flight obviously, and I can cast magic! Neat huh?" Stone said enthusiastically, despite hiding a thing or two.

"Magic huh, I guess that explains the bolt of lightning that we saw in the forest that hit that Grimm, but how exactly can you use magic here? According to legends only four women known as the "Maidens" can use magic. And we can only mimic magic with the use of Dust." Blake asked.

"Well, I use magic by harnessing mana from a plane's ley lines, although Remnant's ley lines are really weak, almost like the plane's ley lines are stunted, meaning my ability to use magic here is weaker."

"So, were you always a Dragon?" asks Weiss.

"No I wasn't always a dragon, I started Human and became a Dragon."

"Became a dragon?" Ruby asked, tilting her head a bit.

"Yeah, it happened when I almost died back on my home plane." Stone replied to Ruby, her silver eyes looking quite confused

"On that note can you tell us a bit about this world you are from, Mahou was it, and how exactly did you almost dying turn you into a dragon?" Blake asks.

"Mahou is a rarity among planes, it's a plane comprising an entire galaxy with multiple nations spanning hundreds of planets, my home planet in the plane, Earth, is one of what are called "AltEarths". Each AltEarth has at least one difference from the others, for example my Earth is one where Dragons revealed their existence in the early 20th century and the presence of dragons meant that traveling through the sky was much more risky, as such nations did not want to waste valuable resources on airplanes that would just be destroyed, and because of that the Jet Engine was never widely used and quickly fell into obscurity, meaning all airplanes still operate off turboprop propellers. But that didn't mean all technology stagnated, we still developed things like phones, the compact disk and satellites." Stone remarked.

"And on me becoming a dragon, back in my home nation of the United States I was in the Army at the time as a Captain, my troops and I had been deployed to take out a Red Dragon that had been harassing the area around Bozeman Montana, unfortunately the dragon caught us off guard and killed most of my squad, hence why it nearly killed me, fortunately I was saved right before I was engulfed in Flames. There's a special place in Mahou called MSF High, it takes people from across the galaxy who would have died otherwise and trains them to become heroes. And when you're taken there the place observes your soul and gives you a form to match, mine just happened to be that of a Silver Dragon."

The four girl's devices went off with a message reading "The ceremony will begin in 10 minutes, if you are not already doing so, please make your way to the main hall."

"Looks like the ceremony is starting soon, we better make our way to the main hall." Ruby says, standing up and putting her device called a Scroll away.

The three other girls and Stone stand up, starting the walk to the ceremony, but as Stone is getting ready to leave, he hears a rustling in the bushes and trees nearby, turning to face the direction of the noise he sees… nothing. A bit suspicious, he turns to follow the girls.

X

Hidden in the bushes near the benches where the group of five were sat are two people, one a male with silver hair and the other a woman with green hair, spying on the group, but being too far away to hear much.

"You think that's him?" asks the man with silver hair to his companion.

"Yeah, no doubt, he fits the description perfectly," says the green haired woman back, "But we should be more cautious, he heard us but I don't think he saw us. Let's get back to base."

X

The ceremony began, Headmaster Ozpin on a large stage announcing each group of four, their names and the artifact they retrieved from the ruin, with a screen above the stage showing the faces of the groups and what pieces they retrieved.

"Russel Thrush, Cardin Winchester, Dove Bronzewing, Sky Lark, the four of you retrieved the Black Bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL, led by Cardin Winchester."

The four leave the stage as Ozpin begins the next team.

"Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Phyrra Nikos, and Nora Valkyrie, you four retrieved the White Rook pieces. From this day forward you will work together as Team JNPR." Nora laughs and gives Ren a hug, "Led by… Jaune Arc"

Jaune looks surprised "Huh? Led by?" he says in shock

"Congratulations young man" Ozpin says to him

"And finally, we have a never before seen result, Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Yang Xiao Long, and Stone Sherman." Ozpin motions to the five as they stand "The five of you retrieved the White Knight pieces. From this day forward you will work together in a five person team as Team RWBYS. Led by… Ruby Rose."

Weiss looks to her right surprised, where Ruby is in shock as Yang goes to hug her sister.

"I'm so proud of you!" Yang says giving her sister the biggest hug she's ever gotten.

"Congrats Ruby." Stone says

The night looms heavily over the City of Vale, the shattered moon in the sky gleaming dim light down on the streets, and in particular, a certain warehouse on the docks. Inside is a man dressed in a black bowler hat with a red band, a white trench coat, black gloves, and a pair of black pants tucked into black boots. He is having a conversation on the phone, one he seems to not be a fan of, as the conversation ends and he slams the phone down on the receiver. He puts a cigar in his mouth and lights it as a man in a gray mask approaches with a trolley with three crates. The man in the bowler hat places a collection of Lien on the edge of the table to which the masked man happily takes.

"Open it" the hatted man says.

The masked man obliges, and with a crowbar he pries the lid off the crate, revealing many Dust Crystals of all different shades, Orange, Blue, White, Red, Gold, Yellow, all glowing with a faint light. The hatted man picks up a Blue Crystal and inspects the ill gotten gains.

"We're going to need more," he says.

When from behind him he hears the door to the warehouse open and two sets of footsteps approaching.

"Aah, Emerald, Mercury, what do you have to report?"

The newly named Team RWBYS arrives at their dorm room, to see they got a slightly larger room to accommodate all five teammates.

"Alright, first order of business, Decorating!" Ruby says as Yang brings out a collection of their belongings.

"What?!" says Weiss.

"We still need to unpack," Blake says lifting her suitcase, as the contents spill onto the floor

Weiss does not look thrilled at this. The girls begin unpacking, and when they finish, they realize that all of their items will not fit in the room with all five beds lined up together in a row.

"Ooh! I have an idea!" Ruby says enthusiastically. "We can make bunk beds!"

"Umm that sounds incredibly dangerous," Weiss says.

"And super awesome" Yang replies, mirroring Ruby's enthusiastic attitude.

"It does seem efficient," Blake replies.

"And it would mean there's more room for everything." Stone says, agreeing with the proposal.

"Well, we should put it to a vote," Weiss says

"I think we just did," says Yang

An hour long job was reduced to just a few minutes with help from Stone, using a bit of telekinesis magic to levitate two of the beds over two others, the Yang's bed being secured over Blake's bed with a few books, and Ruby's bed being being tied to the ceiling over Weiss' bed.

"Well that's all taken care of, I guess you don't have anything to unpack, do you Stone?" Ruby says.

"Sure I do, everything I need is in this pouch right here!" Stone says, untying the small brown bag from his waist.

"No offense, but that bag is way too small to carry anything worthy of unpacking." Weiss says.

It was at this moment that the girls noticed that the fifth bed was missing.

"Wait, wasn't there another bed here?" Yang says, looking around in confusion.

"Oh there was, but I removed it because I won't be needing it." Stone says, opening his small bag, which pours out dim gold light, as he reaches in and pulls out what looks like a tiny door, "Cause I've got this." he says holding up the dollhouse sized door.

The four girls look confused, as he walks to the wall and proceeds to press the small door against it, causing a poof of smoke and a normal sized door to appear on the wall, modestly decorated with his name on a plaque hanging from the door.

As Stone turns the handle, white light pours from the crack as the door opens wider and wider.

Stone steps out of the way and bows, saying "I present to you, my room!"

Alright so pretty lore heavy chapter that was. So firstly it looks like Team RWBY, or should I say RWBYS, has a new member, and his magic made decorating their room much simpler. Although the girls still don't know the full extent of his true nature. We'll get a short tour of his room next chapter and fully jump into the Team's first real day at Beacon.
