A/N : Hello I am trying to get back to my regular posting schedule of once a week but that may be hard because I am looking for a full time job and training but here is a long chapter for you and hopefully all of the chapters are going to be this length.

Chapter nine: A new life.

Blinking his eyes open Harry yawns and stretches to wake himself up. Looking out the window Harry wonders what time it was because the sun was already starting to set. Sitting up in bed Harry notices that the room is empty. Turning on the bed, Harry placed his feet on the floor, as soon as his toes touched the floor Rustack came running into the room.

"Mr Potter are you ok?"Rustack questioned worriedly.

"I am fine. I feel better than ever." Harry responds.

"We got the horcrux out but I would like to run some scans so that we know everything is alright." Rustack states.

Harry nods and lets the Goblin do the scans that he needed. Once all of the scans were clear so the Goblin started to speak.

"I think I have a theory about how you got that scar."

"Ok and what is it because I have been curious about that as well." Harry responds cryptically .

"I think that on the night that you and your parents were attacked instead of dying from the curse it rebounded off of you and hit Lord Voldermort and this ended with a piece of his soul breaking off and latching onto the only living thing left in the room, you. " Rustack explained.

"That seems logical and it may also help to explain a recurring dream that I have. It's disturbing because I had no explanation for it and now I think that it may be a memory of that night. It always starts with a man saying run then some whispering than screaming, a cool high laugh and then a flash of green light. That's it I always wake up at that point." Harry says mind replaying the dream in his head.

"I'm sorry that you have to have that dream but you were right that is no mere dream it is in fact a memory of that night. It does help to confirm my theory." Rustack says gravely

"Oh" was all that Harry could say, the truth about the dream scared him ever so slightly.

The goblin handed Harry back his own clothes then the Goblin turned and left so that he could get changed. After changing, Harry walks out of the room to find Ricsaw waiting for him.

"Are you ready to get your heir and lordship rings." Ricsaw asked.

"Wait I can't get my lordship rings until I turn 11. Umm may I ask what is the date." Harry inquiries

"July 24th and you can not get your lordship rings until your 11th birthday. Would you like to proceed now?" Ricsaw asked.

Harry nods and follows Ricsaw down the hall back to his office. Once inside and seated Ricsaw pulled out a long box for inside a drawer in his desk. The box was a simple wooden box with a diamond carved into the top of the box. Opening the box Harry saw that all six of the heir rings were inside.

"Now because you are the only living heir to the potter family that is the ring that has to go first." Ricsaw states turning the box to Harry so he can pick the Potter ring.

Looking to Ricsaw the Goblin points to which ring it is. Picking up the ring that was being pointed to Harry slips it onto his right hand ring finger. The Black ring was next. Then Gryffindors, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and the Peverell ring. Once all of the rings were on and had merged together the Goblin started to speak.

"It looks like all of the rings have accepted you as the rightful heir to their families. Now that you have the ring what will you do." Ricsaw asked.

"I will get a room at the Leaky Cauldron, send my hogwarts reply letter, get my school supplies and on my birthday collect my lordship rings." Harry replies.

"Ok we will contact you for the time you should come in on the 31st also because you will be eleven you will also hear your parents' wills if you would like." Harry nodded in reply to the question. "Will you be needing money?"

"Yes that would be nice and yeah I would like some money so that I can get my supplies from the alley and to pay for the Leaky Cauldron."Harry said.

Ricsaw nodded and took out a card. Handing the card to Harry Ricsaw said. "This will allow you to take money straight from your trust vault."

Harry nodded that he understood and said. "Thank you for all that you have done for me and I will be back on my birthday to take up my lordships, hear my parents wills and to take up any other responsibilities that I will have to take up at that time."

With that said Harry stood up and bowed to the Goblin and walked to the door. As he got to the door Harry turned and gave the Goblin one last smile before leaving the office and the bank. Walking back down the alley Harry noticed that there were a lot more people and that the colours were more vibrant than before.(When I get my hands on the people responsible for all of this they will pay and they won't know what hit them.) Getting back to the Leaky Cauldron Harry walked up to Tom to ask if he had a room that he could stay in for the rest of the summer because there was no way in hell that he was going back to the Dursleys anytime soon.

"Excuse me Tom do you have a room that I could rent for the rest of the summer ." Harry had asked once Tom had turned his attention to Harry.

"Yes I do but are you sure you don't want to go home." Tom asked.

"Yes I would like a room and could you also tell me where I could get an owl so that I can write my reply to hogwarts."

"Ok we got room 12 free, you can have that. If you go out into the alley, you will find Owlopes Owl Emporium where you can get an owl and if you can go to flourish and blotts you can get parchment, quill and ink to reply to your letter." Tom said.

Harry takes the key that was offered to him and went to find his room. Realising that it was dark so he decided that he should get to bed because he was still pretty tired.

Harry woke up the next morning to the sun peeking through the curtains of the room. Harry looked at the clock on the desk, seeing that it was 9 am Harry decided that he should probably go down stairs and get breakfast before going into the alley. Getting down stairs Harry found an empty table and sat at it. Tom comes over to ask what Harry wanted and to see if he wants help getting back into the alley. Harry nods and orders a bacon sandwich. After Harry was done Tom led him back to the small courtyard and opened the entry to the alley.
