A/N Thank you all for the reviews. Keep them coming because I enjoy getting them.
Harry Potter is not mine, this is a story from a fan.
"Oooo no, Remus" Harry whispered.
Bella and Daphne heard him saying the name and immediately went over to him when they heard the name Harry whispered. What they saw made them hold their breath. Remus was spiked by a gigantic splinter that went right through his body and out of his back.
As Harry gazed at the body of Remus he absentmindedly conjured five caskets. Slowly the friends placed the body's one by one into the caskets and closed the lids. As they came to Remus Bella was the one who had to do it. The moment she lifted the body of Remus from the ground they found a little girl. Harry ran to it and placed his fingers on the neck. he felt a puls and screamed for Poppy. "She is alive, get Poppy here now".
Poppy took the girl away and they all turned back to the body of Remus. "He has saved her with his own body. I haven't seen a bruise on her" Daphne told them as she took the arm of Harry.
Minerva walked up to them and squeezed the shoulder of her grandson. he nodded at her as she walked passed him. Slowly she lifted the lid and placed it on the casket.
There were no other body's so Astoria had to be somewhere else and that was the only good thing they knew.
"Harry, Why do you have five caskets standing here at the ground. don't you know the trauma it can give the students" sounded the voice of Albus behind them?
(BSC4 C21) C108 The one who failed has to be the one who pays.
Harry, knew that his grandmother was standing close by so he didn't react but Asked his grandmother something in his mind. ^Grandmother, Please get the family here. They all need to know about this before it hits the papers^.
Minerva heard him and asked a house elf to get the family while she herself went and stand by her grandson where she placed her hands on his shoulders.
"Harry, my boy, I was asking you something" Sounded the voice of Albus again, only this time it was a little more irritated then it was before.
Harry was still Ignoring him and hoped that Albus would get it and that he would understand that he wanted to be left alone for just a moment. When he heard some pops he knew that the family had arrived and from the sound of their footsteps he knew that they were running towards them. Most of them had been helping in the great hall so it was understandable that they were quick in getting there. The last to arrive was Sirius and Tonks who had been on guard duty.
Minerva took away the lid of the casket that held the body from Remus. The Family all gasped but Sirius rushed to Remus while he screamed: "why, why".
"Harry, I'm the headmaster of this school and I'm not standing here for nothing. I would like to know why you conjured five caskets. I demand an answer" Albus told him in a way that left no doubt.
Harry gave a deep sigh as he turned around. "Albus, It is Lord Potter or. Nevermind I can't do that now" Harry said as he pinched the bridge of his nose with two fingers. From the way, Harry told it the family knew that he just didn't have the fire to go against Albus. "Albus" and he sighed again. "I do not know how it is in the magical world because I do not have the knowledge you have. but in the Muggle world, a casket almost always means that someone has died. This time it is no different".
Albus heard Harry calling him by his name and his anger went up. He wanted to say something but the last part made him snapped his mouth shut before he opened it again. "I'm sorry Lord Potter but could you tell who died".
The family was standing around Harry as he faced Albus, the only one who was still at the casket was Sirius. Daphne and Bella held Harry in a hug because they knew that he had a hard time with it all, especially when you knew Albus was to blame for it. Before he could answer they all heard Sirius screaming the name Remus and why he had to die. "Headmaster Dumbledore" Harry started again. "When you and the group that is standing around you came into the Arena and stunned the Dragons you forgot one thing".
This was it and Albus turned red from anger. How dare he blame him, Albus Dumbledore the leader of the light. the one who rallied up people to get back into the arena and stun the two dragons to save them all.
"You forgot to look if everyone was brought into safety. they weren't I know you did what you had to do and I would have asked my friends to do the same when everyone was saved. You didn't and one of the stunned Dragons went down onto the stand killing these five people and one of them is our honorable uncle Remus Lupin".
Harry had just said the words when Sirius jumped between them. His eyes were on fire and his hands were grabbing the air just in front of the face of Albus. Amelia was still holding one of his arms and Harry grabbed the other.
"How could you, Isn't it enough that we lost Lily, you have to take Remus away from me to".
"Sirius" Harry screamed at him so Sirius looked at him wide-eyed. "Sirius, the thing Albus has done wasn't really wrong. I would have done the same thing but I would have waited for just a little longer until everyone was safe" Harry told him softly."
"But James, It's Remus, Remus James our friend" Sirius shouted back.
Harry didn't know if he heard it correctly but immediately dropped the arm of Sirius and walked over to his grandmother. "Grandmother could you find a respectful place for the five people that have died. Could you also notify the families and tell them to get here if they want to. I will try and put in a good word for each one of them at dinner".
Minerva nodded and she saw Harry turn to Zanita. He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for all the work you have done with the Spectators. Could you tell them they are allowed to go home or stay for dinner if they want? If they do want to stay let them wait in a classroom so you can prepare the great hall for a formal dinner in memory of the ones we lost".
"My Lord, do you want the great hall in mourn, meaning black flags with the Hogwarts coat of arms on it".
Harry smiled at Zanita and nodded. he turned around and started to walk away as Bella and Daphne jumped onto his arms. "I'm sorry grandmother but I can't think clearly now and I have to have a moment for myself".
Minerva looked at how her grandson walked away with his friends. She knew that the idea of people dying at the tournament was bad enough for him. she was however proud of her grandson. The reasoning he gave after the mistake of Albus was sound. It could be anyone that could have done it. The idea they hadn't thought about it was the biggest problem for Harry. and if she thought about it it could have been much worse if the friends hadn't reacted like they had done.
Minerva turned around and came eye to eye with Amelia who was still keeping Sirius from attacking Albus. She shook her head when she saw the eyes of Amelia looking over her shoulder at Harry who was walking into the direction of the forbidden forest. It was clear for Minerva that Sirius wasn't thinking straight but for him to call her grandson James had been the drop that overflowed the bucket.
She knew that Harry had heard over and over again that he had the eyes of his mother but that he looked like James. For Sirius calling him that that had just been too much for him.
It was hours later that Sirius realized the thing he had said to Harry, The idea that he had called Harry James sickened him more then he could tell anyone. Still, he had done it and he knew that he had hurt him a lot by doing it. Something Amelia had told him in very colorful words when he had calmed down enough. So he had searched all over the castle for Harry but couldn't find him so he could not say sorry, he still couldn't do it because they were making them selfs ready for dinner.
*#*
Albus was sitting in the middle of the head table as he watched all the students and visitors walking into the great hall. He had looked around and was disappointed that he hadn't been able to turn the black banners back into the house colors. So he just sat there and waited for everyone to take their place. when he was sure that everyone had entered the great hall he stood and called for dinner to be served. He waived his hand but there was no food that appeared on the tables so he called for it for a second time but again there was none.
Harry stood and was slowly making his way over to the podium. He saw Albus looking at him.
Before Albus could say something he felt a hand on his shoulder that pushed him roughly back into his chair.
"I think you have done enough for today Albus"Sounded the voice of Minerva, that was immediately followed by the voice of Zanita.
"Yes Albus, you and the rest of the comity of this blasted tournament have done enough. The idea that you just wanted to go and start eating like nothing has happened is in one word DISGUSTING" Zanita shouted the last word. "And not only from you but from everyone that has business in this tournament".
Albus Dumbledore was starting to swell up from anger. He wanted to scream something while his magic was starting to show around him "I WIll TELL YOU THIS" Albus started.
"NO, ALBUS I will tell you something" Zanita went over him. "It is well known what A horntail has done in the last tournament. Ever since that Tournament, the Horntail was illegal to use in every kind of game or event. Looking at what happened today you and the rest of the company could be thankful for what the friends have done".
Even if Albus was still red from anger, most of the others were smart enough to hang their heads down in shame. They knew that the friends were trying to save any Audience member that was in the arena, and they also knew that the friends were doing a great job. They also knew that they were still children why they themselves were seeking safety. Only when the danger was at a minimum because of the friends they themselves went back to stun the dragons like Albus wanted them to. It was only after they had stunned the dragons that they realized that the Arena wasn't cleared.
As most of the people of the tournament were looking down in Shame, Albus was still as angry as he had been only moments ago. But Zanita didn't care, she was on a role and she went on. "Let me make myself clear. It was their action that saved almost every member of the audience. It was your action that cost the Dragon to come down on a stand that was still filled with Wizards and Witches. If you had only looked around and waited for another ten minutes then everybody would have been saved. Everybody would have been waiting in the great hall".
Now it was Albus who interrupted Zanita. "I know damn well who you are. I, however, am still the headmaster of this school, And therefore I do not appreciate you talking to me like that, and as long as".
Whatever Albus wanted to say next was stopped by a tramble that went through the whole castle. In the great hall everyone could see Zanita radiating a power that was even greater then the Power Albus had. "ALBUS DUMBLEDORK" she screamed in a way that even the people in Hogsmeade could hear her. "I lady Hogwarts remove you from the office and the knowledge of the Headmasters of the past. You are no longer allowed in the office of the headmaster until you learn to learn from your mistakes. Until that time Minerva Magonagall/ Potter will share your position in the school until, like I said, you learn from your mistakes".
Albus opened his mouth for the third time. Still, Zanita didn't let him. "Now you listen and you listen well. I do not know why my king, King Hogwarts, Harry James Potter/ Hogwarts, is giving you chance after chance. If I would make that decision you would have been out of here a long time ago. So you will sit down and be quiet, if not I will have a fight with my Husband about the reason I removed you from the castle and the grounds without his approval".
You could see the steam coming out of the ears of Albus. His fists were bolded up as he sat down on his throne moping like a little kid. As he sat down he felt himself be lifted from his chair. He was looking around never seeing Zanita pointing with her eyes at Minerva just before he was dumped into her chair.
Zanita stood and walked over to the throne of Albus and waved her hand over it. the fabric changed into the Scottish colors of the house, McGonagall. "As of today, Minerva McGonagall will be sharing the position of Headmistress of Hogwarts. Her place will be in the middle of the head Table until Albus Dumbledore has proven to me that he again is worthy of the position. Or Until my Husband is finally starting to think clearly and removes him from the school and its grounds" The last thing she said with a pointed look at Harry.
Harry nodded and knew that the three of them had to have a talk with Zanita to explain why they did the things they did. they knew that they had already told her all of it but it was clear they had to do it again.
The friends had arrived at the Podium where Harry took Zanita into a hug. He gave her a kiss on her lips and whispered something into her ear. Zanita looked at him and nodded just before she went back to her own seat where she gave a final deathly look at Albus.
"You did tell her that you are proud of her didn't you" Daphne whispered.
"Yes, I did. It is something I wanted to do for a long time and if you ask me I wanted to blast him out of here the moment Hogwarts became mine. So I thanked her and told her we needed to talk later".
"Good, Bella and I will be there. Now let's do this".
As Harry walked on to the middle of the stage he had to smile a little. Zanita had done something they hadn't thought about. By getting Albus out of his office, they got all of his spies out of the way. He was no longer able to keep himself hidden in there and so it would be a lot easier for them to keep watch over him.
Zanita waived her hands to the side and made sure that everyone who could interrupt at the head table were silents and stuck to their chairs.
With his friends next to him, Bella and Daphne on his arms he asked for silents as he placed a soft sonorous on himself. "I want all of you to think back to the task we the champions had to do. It was a form of entertainment but also one with a lot of risks. Working with dangerous animals is something no one has to take lightly".
Harry took a moment of Silents to make sure that everyone was thinking back. With these words, he had dome something Albus never managed to do. He had spoken them slowly but with a lot of feeling making everyone listen to him, Something Albus never managed and it was aggravating him even more.
Harry gave a deep sigh "I Lord Hogwarts have to make sure that everyone who comes into my castle is respected and to keep them safe at all time. Unfortunately, it is something that we can't guarantee, something we have all seen today. Five people have been killed during an attack from an out of control Dragon. These People are Amanda and Rene Flagstone from Australia. Michel Strumer from Germany. With every name, he called he kept a second or two of silents just to make them sound important. Then there was Carressa Claudel from France.
These four heroes were journalists in their own country. This day they have done everything they could to help the people around them to safety. In doing this they went above and beyond what they could and gave there lives in doing so. It is something we here at Hogwarts will honor with an award for outstanding serves to the school.
It were these announcements that gave most of the audience another vision of the thing that had happened that day. From the moment they had been in the great hall not one person of the tournament committee had said something about a death. let alone about five deaths.
Harry could see that most of the people were slowly realizing what really happened that day. So he took another moment and before he went on. "As I said there were five people who had died. The last one was part of my own family" and Harry pointed at his friends and the rest of the family who were all sitting at the end of the Hogwarts Table. "This man goes by the name of Remus Lupin. He did the ultimate act, He placed and protected A young girl with his own body. It cost him his life but I'm sure that not many would have done the same if they were in the same situation".
The last words were excepted with a lot of whispers. And it was clear that a lot of the whispers were about the five people who had died that day. So the moment Harry lifted his hand to go on the great hall fell silent for a second time.
"So to everyone who had been in the Arena, I am sure that some of you could tell a story about one of the five people. Some of you could tell us what one of them has done for you, or for what they had done for another, something you have seen. So don't let their deaths be just that. Tel your memories and let the heroes be heroes". Harry wasn't sure if the five people were really the heroes he said they were. but he just couldn't tell them they were not. But as he looked on he saw some people telling something about someone and he knew that all five of them would become heroes at the end of the night.
Bella and Daphne hugged him from the side as Minerva talked at him in her mind. ^That was a nice thing you did, I do not know what they did but they will go down in history as real heroes. some people will make it up just to get a little attention for them selfs. So take it home grandson give them a good ending^.
Harry just nodded and went on. "These Heroes shell be reminded for the action they have done. So let us take a minute of silents to honor them".
Harry bowed his head and waited for a minute before he went on. "We at Hogwarts and the ministries of the countries that have a champion in this tournament will be paying for their funerals and anything that comes with it".
Harry wasn't even finished when someone stood and screamed. "And who are you to decide that the school and the ministry will pay the bill for all of this. We could kill the dragon and pay them with the galleons it will be worth".
Everyone in the great hall turned and looked at the person who had screamed.
Lucius Malfoy was standing next to his son and was throwing hated looks at Harry. "I want to know by whos right that freak of a Potter can decide that Hogwarts will pay for this. Let alone the ministry, who does he think he is to waste away the money from the taxpayers".
Harry just looked at Lucius but didn't know what he could say. If he had his way he would slam Lucius against the wall and curse him where he stood. He knew that it was something he couldn't do so he looked down and thought hard about what to say back.
Harry couldn't find the words but there was someone who did have them and he spoke up.
"Monsieur" sounded the voice of Jean Delacour. "Monsieur, I do not know who you are, but I agree with Lord Hogwarts. Our ministries and Hogwarts should take the cost of all this because we have been the ones who agreed to this tournament. It is with that thought in mind we have to take our responsibilities".
Lucius looked at Jean and sniffed loudly "Sir, I do not know who you are, and I do not care. But I tell you that this is a case for the board and not for some stuck up person from another country".
Jean just smiled as he gazed at Lucius. "Sr. My name is Jean Delacour. I'm the minister of magic from the proud nation of France. I do however know of the name Malfoy, and also about the board of this school. The board where you are talking about is nothing more than an advisory committee".
Lucius sneered as he interrupted Jean. He clearly didn't care what Jean had to say. "It is clear that you do not have a good picture of the brat named Harry Potter. So let me enlighten you by telling you he may have the name Potter but he is nothing that the name is supposed to be. He is just a spoiled kid that things he runs Hogwarts. Only because he thinks the name Potter means something.
Jean got a look of thought and knew Lucius would look at it as if he was in doubt. His gaze went over to Harry and then over to his daughter Fleur. His thought went back to the day he saw Harry for the first time. Sure he had heard of the boy who lived and the books that had been written about him. At first, he never believed them but the day he had seen Harry in action he began to have his doubt. That was before the family sat him straight. Slowly his gaze went down to his wife that was sitting next to him. His wife was a Veela as were his daughters. In France, they had a respectable life because he was the minister. Here In England, they could only have a life because of Harry. All of this happened in his mind in a matter of seconds so he turned his gaze back to Lucius. "Well, Mr. Malfoy, I have to agree and disagree with you. You see I do not know Mister Potter all that well, in that you are right. Especially not as good as you apparently know him. However, I do know the Name Potter and some of the family that went by the name. The Potters I know would fight for lesser beings and People who can't defend themselves at that time. The day I saw Mr. Potter he did just that by defending my wife and daughters just like he did for all the spectators of the Quidditch world cup. Like he did today with all his friends as they did at the world cup. Now the one thing I did see on that day was Mr. Potter here throwing one spell a cutting spell that went right through a tree".
Lucius heard the words and slowly he became pale.
After a smile from Apolline Jean went on. "Now on that day, I did see something, not only the Lord Hogwarts split a tree in two, but also make that man that was hiding behind it run like Hell was on his heels. It was that man that had tried and kill my wife, A spell that was caught by Minerva McGonagall/Potter. So I Might not know him as you do, but what I know he isn't the person you describe him to be. And I as the minister of France agree with him and will gladly share the responsibilities".
The last words from Jean were received with a lot of applause especially when he said. "To Hogwarts, to Lord Hogwarts, But most of all to the five heroes we have lost today".

The funeral of Remus Lupin was the next day, it wasn't a big one but just some friends and people Remus knew. Harry had created a spot on the Peverell grounds where he wanted to place his mum and dad when he could. It was a place where he wanted all of his family.
As the friends gazed around at the people, they could see that most of them were werewolves just like Remus had been. You could see it by their cloaths. most of them had a hard time because they were pushed away by every wizard or witch.
Sirius had been crying none stop, he was held up by Amelia but the loss of Remus was hitting him hard. The family knew that they had been close from the moment they had walked through the door of Hogwarts. It was also that reason why Harry had not said another word when Sirius had called him James.
After some people had said their goodbye's, with one of them being Albus. It was time for Sirius saying the final word.
Sirius was helped to the edge of the grave where he looked down. With tears in his eyes, he gazed at the closed casket and started his little speech. "Remus Lupin was my best friend together with James Potter. He was always there when James and I had gone too far. he was the voice of reason.
He was the kind of person that was always there when someone needed them. I can remember the day that Remus became a prefect. He was always there to take care of the first years even if they only needed to have a listening ear. He kept on doing it even when he became head boy. Those had been the happiest time we had with him, but also the happiest time for him because he could help people.
After our Hogwarts years, James and I became Aurors while Remus started to help the people that needed him the most. It was because of him that we became one big family. The parents of James had adopted me when my parents had kicked me out. but after school, they took Remus in when his parents died. Without the Potters, we wouldn't be here. Charlus and Dorea were the best parents we could have wish for. And I miss them just like I will miss Remus.
So in the years after Hogwarts that the war started. At first, it was an attack here and there but slowly it became bigger and bigger. Remus was helping people to get out of the country or a place to stay. Mostly he was helping children that were abused or had become outcast because they had been bitten just like him.
Remus did all he could to help any kid that was in trouble. He was helped by Charlus and Dorea Potter by bringing them to America. After the war, he kept on doing it and I'm sure he saved about a hundred kids.
It was during the war that our little Harry was born. James and Lilly were so proud of him. Then came the day they made me his godfather. Now I was honored and don't get me wrong. But if Remus hadn't been a werewolf. he would have been the one who would become his godfather. The way he would hold him all night long told us he loved him like he was his own. So if none of us was there, then Harry would get all the love he needed from Remus alone. If I have to describe Remus in one line it would be, A children's friend. I'm positive that Remus would go to the end of the world if he could save a child from being abused or tormented".
It was on that moment that Harry placed the frame of his mum and dad in the hands of his grandmother while he made his way away from everybody. As he walked on he was followed by a pissed off Bella and Daphne.
As Sirius was talking the other guest were all looking at the back of Harry who was walking away. Some did understand why. while others were thinking that he was extremely rude.
Sirius never saw them go and just went on. "Remus" Sirius called out loud. "James and I, Sorry Harry and I will miss you". with those last words he waved his wand and buried the casket underneath a pile of dirt. As he gave a final gaze at the spot rimus would be lying for the rest of their lives he realized that Harry was no longer with them.
His wondering gaze was answered by Amelia who was just shaking her head. He didn't know what had happened or what he had done.
Amelia took his arm and said, "Come I will explain later. you have done nothing wrong but some things you said were just hurtful for Harry".
Sirius nodded but was still oblivious of what it could be.
As all of the guests were walking back to the castle, it was Arabella that took Isabella and Minerva by the hand. "I think the three of us should go and see how the three kids are doing. I can't be easy for them after hearing all of this"
Both Minerva and Isabella nodded as they walked along with Arabella.
A/N This was it again for this week. see you all in two weeks.
Gr Winmau.
