Chapter 11:Realisations and Dumbledore.

It took 10 minutes for the tears to stop and another 10 for Harry to finally notice that Ricsaw was not in the room with him. Harry wiped down his face with his hands to get rid of any stray tears from his cheeks. Standing up Harry walks to the door. Leaving the room Harry spots Ricsaw and nods. The Goblin starts the walk back to the office. Once back in the office Harry sat back in the chair from before. The silence from the walk back to the office was now becoming suffocating but neither the Goblin or Harry knew how to start the conversation that they both knew was coming and needed.

"Um are you ok? I know that must have been hard on you." Ricsaw said.

Harry stares into Ricsaw's eyes and says." I have never seen my parents faces before. I finally have a face to go with the voices I hear in my dreams but right now that is not important. I have quite a few questions about some of the things said in their wills."

Ricsaw saw the curiosity and pain displayed in those emerald green eyes and knew that no matter how much the answers hurt Harry needed them now more than ever.

"Ok what are your questions. I will try to answer them the best I can." Ricsaw said.

"I will start off with the letter. Do you think that I could get the letter now so that I don't forget it." Harry asked.

"Yes I will have someone get it for you now." Ricsaw started calling another Goblin in to get the letter.

A Goblin comes in with the letter and hands it to Harry before bowing and leaving. Ricsaw starts to speak. " Ok now that you have the letter what is your next question?"

"Who is Sirius Black and how did my dad know him?" Harry questioned.

"Sirius Black was your father's best friend and your Godfather. He is currently in prison and he holds the title of Lord Black." Ricsaw states.

"Ok what the hell? If he was my dad's best friend yet I have never met him. Where is he and where has he been in the last ten years ? Does he know I am still alive?" Harry asked in a rapid succession.

Ricsaw thought about all of the questions that he was asked before answering. "Umm. To answer your questions. Sirius Black has been in the prison known as Azkaban for the betrayal of your parents and the murder of 12 muggles and a wizard known by the name of Peter Petteigrew. He was also the first person at the house after Voldermort's downfall. He was also the person that pulled you from the wreckage of the house."

As Harry listened to Ricsaw explain why Harry had never heard of Sirius Black and it pissed him off even more but it also gave him more questions about Black.

"Thank you for the information. It has given me a lot of new Questions that I hope you can answer." Harry says

Ricsaw nodded and waited for Harry to start speaking.

"Why would he betray my parents if he was my dad's best friend and my godfather. Who is Peter Petteigrew? Why give me the Black heirship and why kill 13 people?" Harry ranted.

The Goblin took all of the questions that were being thrown at him and thought about the best way to answer them without upsetting him. When the Goblins did start to speak it was a slow, considered and carefully worded answer.

"Well you see Lord Potter, the Goblins do not believe that Sirius Black is guilty of the crimes that he has been accused of, we believe that Peter Pettigrew is the real traitor and killer. As for making you the Black heir , I know for a fact that he loved you like a son, that is why." explained the Goblin

Once Harry had digested all of the information Harry didn't know what to say it was only then did he notice that tears were making track marks down his face. Taking a minute to collect himself. Looking up Harry saw that Ricsaw was staring at Harry with the softest eyes that Harry has ever seen.

"Can we continue please." Harry asked.

The Goblin nodded and started talking. " I guess that I should explain who Peter Pettigrew is. Peter was one of your fathers friends and from the sounds of their wills he was the one that betrayed them and not Lord Black."

"Ok that explains that part of the will." Harry said, trying to keep his temper in check. " I want to know who Remus Lupin is?"

"Remus Lupin was another of your dad's friends but he is a werewolf and that means he can not get a job in the wizarding world. I also think that this is why he has not contacted you because he believes himself dangerous." Ricsaw explained.

"Who is Snape and why is my father apologizing and my mother sending her forgiveness?" Harry asked.

"Severus Snape is the potions teacher at hogwarts he went to school with your mother and father but that is all I know." Ricsaw answered. Harry nodded it was ok he would ask Snape in person.

"Ok make sure that he sees the apologies and forgiveness. I am going to be a lot to unpack here and from the look on your face I am right so let's move onto Amelia Bones and why is she not the one taking care of me and where could I find her."

"Yes there is a lot about Dumbledore that we need to discuss. I will tell you about Amelia Bones. Amelia Bones is the head of the DMLE which is the Law enforcement of the Government or as wizards would call it ministry of magic. Madam Bones is also the regret of house of Bones. The reason that she did not take you was because she trusted Dumbledore and because she had a niece your age who she to take care of. Her parents died in the war. This is also the first time that the will was shown so we will contact her to tell her the news. I would recommend writing her a letter and giving her a chance."

Harry nodded and took a minute to process the information and the reasons for her absence and then decided to write and hear the women out.

"Ok who is Alice Longbottom and why couldn't she take care of me."

"Alice Longbottom is in Saint Mungo's because she and her husband were tortured to insanity by 4 of Voldemort's followers. They have a son a day older than you and is also your godbrother. You should also write a letter to the Lady Dowager Longbottom and set up a meeting." The Goblin said.

"Ok I will. Now let's get onto who I suspect is the real problem and the person that I am going to need plans for Dumbledore." Harry stated.

The Goblin gave a sigh before he started to speak. "Yes this bit is going to take a while what would you like to start with?"

"Who is he"

"Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. He is the headmaster of Hogwarts, the chief wizard of the wizengamot, the defeater of Grindelwald and the supreme mugwump of the ICW."

"Ok so a lot of titles and power. How is he connected to me and my parents?"

"He was one of your parents' friends and helped to hide them from Voldemort but he was also using them for their money and power. He has been stealing from your Potter vault since their death. We could not do anything about it without your consent."

"Ok tell me exactly what he has done with the money. He has stolen about 4 million Gallon over the last 10 years. They have been going into 3 different accounts, the first is a personal account and the most of the money gone in there. The next is a Muggle account for someone named Vernon Dursley. He has over the course of 10 years has received over 500,000 Gallons and the other is a Molly Weasly for reasons unknown."

"That's a lot of money." Harry Said processing the information. "Is there anything that you can do about the money and what else has been taken."

"Some family jewelry and books."

"Ok so what else has he done."

"He sealed your parents wills until today and placed you with the Dursleys."

Things in the room started to shake at this. A wave of tangible magic washed over the room causing Goblins to come running in and stare at the sheer strength of the wizard in front of them. Soon the magic started to receive and the Goblins left the room.

"I am sorry about my outburst Ricsaw that was unbecoming of my station. Thank you for the information now we should form a plan to deal with this man. Where should we start."

"It's ok. We should start with the money we can get it back but I would say to contact madam Bones and set a plan in motion and book an appointment with us and her so we can put plans in motion for getting the books and jewelry back." The Goblin said

"Yes let's set up an appointment for the 31st August so that I have a chance to meet the person that did this at school and I will set up a meeting for Bones in her capacity as head of the DMLE. If we could get the appointment time for 1pm it means we could have all afternoon to put plans in place. As for the money, take it slowly until he is going crazy wondering where the money is going." Harry says.

"I will set up a meeting at 1 pm on the 31st August and I will do as you ask with the money it will be fun watching his reaction." Ricsaw smiled.

Harry stood up from his chair and reached over the desk to shake Ricsaws hand. Ricsaw took the offered hand and shook. Once the shake was over they both bowed to each other they and Harry headed for the door. Just has Harry opened the door he looked over his shoulder and said " I hope that I can count you as a true friend Ricsaw." and with that he left.
