I woke up the next morning feeling a little better, but my dad told me to stay at home just to be safe. I was upset by that because I knew that the food fair was today, but I also knew that I could still get someone else sick, so I stayed in bed and called Jason. He told me not to worry about, and that they would come see me. I was happy that he still cared for me, but I'm starting to worry about Capri because she always answers her phone. I hope that everything is ok, but now-a-days, you can't be too sure.
"I'm sorry that you have to miss the food fair today." my dad said as he walked into my room.
"It's ok dad. I understand why I have to miss it, and I'm perfectly fine with that." I said back with a smile.
My dad left after that and then my computer beeped. I looked at the video and saw this ugly looking pig type monster eating everything piece of food in its sights.
"That is so gross." I said as I put on my headset.
"I agree Ashlynn." Alpha said which shocked me because I didn't think he heard me.
I was about to say something else, but the gang beat me to it, when they came in the command center. I was quiet for a few minutes, and then I heard Kim ask about me.
"I'm still a little sick, but I'm always watching over you guys." I said which spooked her because I saw her jump.
"Thanks for scaring me girl." Kim said as everyone laughed.
"Sorry girl, but you know I love you." I said back with a giggle.
The gang went out and beat the monster, like I knew they would, and they managed to make enough money to help build more play grounds and daycares for kids. I was proud of them and I knew that the world was too. I had just laid down, when Jason came in.
"Feeling any better?" Jason asked as he sat next to me.
"A whole lot better." I replied as I leaned into Jason.
Jason and I talked for a while, and then he rocked me to sleep before he left. I'm glad that I got to see him and I hope that Rita only sends monsters to destroy the world because I don't think we could handle if someone else was working for Rita.
