Chapter 15 Bunny Beauty

Judy had never felt such freezing chills run up and down her spine when Wendy said that. Sure, the message itself, if taken at face value, probably didn't mean anything too bad. Heck, Wendy's inflection wasn't even too bad either; Judy definitely wouldn't label her as psychotic (at least based on that one little detail). But she couldn't help but feel sick regardless. Her nausea increased as the walking turtle girl brought her back into the castle and up toward her room. She noticed Wendy practically vibrating with excitement as she closed the door behind them. Judy didn't know what her plan was, so she continued growing sicker and sicker.

"W…" She could barely speak without feeling like she was going to vomit. "What…exactly…is your plan?"

Wendy's eyes glittered, an action that once again caused Judy's nausea to grow. "Well, I was thinking. While I do have a few female friends, there's something that I don't often get to do with them. It's a shame too, as I really enjoy this particular activity."

Judy swallowed a lump. "What activity would that be?"

Wendy beamed. She went over to her closet, opening it with a hint of caution as all the various things she had stashed away in there came pouring out. In a way, her closest was a giant treasure chest of sorts. She went inside, fishing some clothing off the hangers. She displayed the outfits she had chosen to her hostage.

"I want to give you a makeover!"

Judy seized up. Makeover? Wendy wanted to give her a makeover? For some reason (which she unfortunately could never truly encapsulate), that proposition was more terrifying than any of the other possibilities that had been running through Judy's head. Sure, it wasn't on par with being held in a dingy dungeon or being whipped and beaten for the enjoyment of the very sick girl who decided to pluck her out of her home dimension. But even still, it wasn't an appealing thought.

"I…I don't know…" she was afraid to directly object as she had a feeling Wendy could make life particularly difficult for her if she did. "I…I don't typically give myself makeovers…" she hesitated and held her hands behind her back, pussyfooting around the very real, resounding "no way!" that she wanted to give the reptilian princess.

"Trust me it's going to be fun!" said reptilian princess objected. "You can just let me take care of the whole thing. I have you looking and feeling like a whole new person in no time!"

Judy sucked some air through her teeth. She looked into Wendy's eyes, still sparkling with a very poorly placed excitement. She twiddled her thumbs as she held her hands together, brainstorming any possible excuses she could give to her. Unfortunately, she came up with nothing. Nothing, nada, zilch.

"Uh…fine."

Wendy grinned. "Great!" She held one of the outfits a lot by the hanger in her right hand. "I'll let you chose the outfit you're gonna wear." She switched the outfit out with a different one. "Which do you think looks best?"

Judy studied the outfits. Despite the fact that she wasn't exactly a big fan of Wendy, she had to admit that she had a…decent fashion sense. Sure, there was one outfit that had WAY too many feathers, as well as the one that was a little…*ahem* revealing. But aside from those, the outfits really caught her eye. She didn't know which one she liked the best, nor which one she thought would look the best on her.

Eventually, she did find it; a dress the same color as the sky with white polka dots on it. Admittedly, that particular one had a certain charm, especially since the white polka dots looked like miniature clouds floating on the light blue fabric. When Judy voiced that she wanted that one, Wendy beamed.

"Great choice, Judy!" She set the other outfits down on her bed. "This outfit just so happens to come with a cute pair of shoes too!" She went back into her closet, coming out with a pair of high heels that were the same baby blue hue. "I also have a lot of different accessories that I think would really look good with this dress!" She let out a happy sound, one close to the squeak of a baby mouse.

Judy nodded. "That…that's good." She got another look at the outfit, all at once realizing something important that she felt kind of stupid for overlooking. "Wait, how exactly will that outfit fit me? It's way too big!"

Wendy giggled. "That's nothing a little magic can't fix!" To Judy's surprise and shock, she reached into her shell and pulled out what appeared to be a magic wand. Judy's eyes spread wider than the circumference of Jupiter as Wendy waved her wand at both the dress and shoes, causing them to glow with power and shrink down to Judy's exact size. Once they stopped glowing, Wendy held the dress back up. "See? All better!"

Judy did a double take. "This world is weird." She shook her head before looking back at Wendy. "Well…I suppose we should get started." That sentence made her physically sick though; she desperately wanted to take it back.

Wendy nodded. As she did, Judy took off her clothes so that she could adorn the outfit. On some level, she felt uncomfortable while stripping in front of her kidnapper, but she tried not to let it bother her too much. Thankfully, her discomfort melted away when she actually got the dress on. With its snug fit and beautiful sleeves that hugged her arms in a way that wasn't too dissimilar to a protective mother, it actually felt really nice. It also helped that the flowy, long skirt made her feel like she was some sort of rich queen who could enchant an entire country with her beauty. Overall, Judy felt as if the dress was, in some ways, meant to be worn by her specifically. It was just a perfect fit (and not just because of Wendy's magic).

This feeling of perfection only increased as she put the heels on. Now, Judy wasn't someone who normally wore shoes, especially high heels. She just felt that using her lucky rabbit feet was both more comfortable as well as more practical. However wearing these shoes made her feel like a princess. Specifically, Cinderella; the girl who wore the most unique shoes in the universe and used them to dance with the most handsome and charming prince ever known to man. Judy actually smiled upon looking at them. They had their own personality, their own flare and charm. In many ways, they absolutely went with the dress.

Once both the dress and shoes were on, Wendy took a step back. "Oh my gosh, you are just the cutest thing ever!" She gushed. "Can you give me a twirl?" Judy did (albeit hesitantly), which got a starstruck squee from the princess. "Oh, yes! Yes yes yes! You chose the perfect dress, Judy!"

Judy, despite the horrible feelings she garnered toward her captor, nodded. "Thanks."

"You're welcome!" Wendy beamed and giggled devilishly. "We're not done yet though."

Judy blinked. "We aren't?"

"Nope! I still have a lot of other things I want to do!" She went over to her vanity table and gestured to the bunny. "Come on, take a seat!"

Judy shook her head. "I don't…" Wendy cast her a glare. It wasn't a big one, but it still made Judy worry for her safety. "Uh, of course Wendy!" So, she took a seat right in front of the mirror. She watched Wendy reach into the drawer and pull out five different things. The first two things she had in her hands were two light blue bows.

"Tilt your head back."

Judy obeyed. With a careful touch Judy never would've expected to come from a kidnapper, Wendy clipped one of the bows on the tip of her left ear. Beaming, Wendy reached for a magenta hairbrush and ran it down the length of Judy's ear. Each individual trip down was done with so much care that one would think that Wendy was brushing the long golden tresses of Rapunzel. The brush made Judy's ear feel as smooth as milk and as silky as…well, silk. She even smiled when Wendy started to brush the other ear. It almost felt like a massage, like a trained, professional masseuse was gently touching her ears with delicate, almost fairy-like hands. On some level, Judy was actually a little disappointed when Wendy stopped and put the other bow on the tip of her right ear. Oh well; at least she looked cute and well groomed.

Then, Wendy showed Judy the third thing she had gotten out of the drawer; a necklace that had some of the largest pearls Judy had ever seen. Seriously, they looked like baseballs! What's more, they glittered in the light. Their glow looked similar to the stars on the clearest night, as well as the moon when it had reached the glorious part of the month where it was actually full. There was no doubt in Judy's mind that these pearls were real. Sure, they were a little too large, but Judy just assumed that was how it was in this universe. Heck, there were probably some giant clams here that produced these big pearls; Judy wouldn't at all be surprised.

She graciously allowed Wendy to put it around her neck.

"You are looking more and more gorgeous," Wendy said. She reached for the last two things she got out of the drawer: two golden bracelets similar to her own. Judy allowed her to put them on, all while Wendy giggled with glee. "Oh man, this is great! Now we're onto my favorite part of makeovers!"

"What's that?" Judy asked.

"Cosmetics!" Wendy reached for the makeup materials sitting on her vanity table, picking up a tube of carnation pink lipstick first and foremost. "This is going to look so cute when we are done!" She turned Judy around to face her, putting the lipstick on with the gentle touch that, again, Judy never would've expected from her. The lipstick felt so foreign to Judy, as she very rarely wore makeup. The way it stuck to her lips, no doubt staining them with a color that would draw everyone's attention toward her, was quite strange. Not bad, not good, just…strange.

"Okay!" Wendy exclaimed once she finished and put the lipstick back in its tube. Judy tried turning back around to see what she looked like in the mirror, but Wendy stopped her. "Uh uh uh, no!" She twirled the chair back to face her. "You can't look until you're finished!"

Judy huffed. "This darn thing is taking forever."

"Yeah," Wendy said as she opened up her eyeshadow kit. "Putting your face on does take quite sometime." She dipped a medium brush with chocolate brown bristles into the light blue eyeshadow. "But hey, it's worth it if you want to work your best!" Judy snorted at that, but Wendy completely ignored it as she held the brush close to her face. "Now, close your eyes and stay very still."

Judy sighed and closed her eyes. Like the lipstick, having the brush brushing against her eyelid felt so foreign. She could feel the eyeshadow sticking to her fur, like it was clinging to her and hanging on for dear life. As Wendy finished with one eyelid and started on the other, Judy internally prayed that she'd actually look good when this was over and done with. If she didn't, she was going to be mightily disappointed; probably not so much that she would verbally scold her captor, but certainly enough to dampen her mood and make her feel like this whole thing was a gigantic waste of time.

"And…that's done!" Wendy exclaimed. Judy opened her eyes, blinking them out a few times. She felt tempted to reach up and touch her eyelids, for she wanted to see if the makeup really was there and was heavy enough to stain her fingers. Wendy stopped her though, right before taking out a mascara tube and popping it open. Judy, begrudgingly, allowed her to use it. This one particular part of doing the makeup didn't feel too terribly strange due to the eyelashes not being actual skin, but it was still noticeable. In fact, Judy could almost see her extra bold and extra black eyelashes if she looked upward. It was really heavy, even Judy could tell. Regardless, she didn't object. She just continued hoping that she didn't look too terribly weird after this was done.

"Okay…" Wendy said to herself as she put her mascara back in the tube. "Just a few more finishing touches…" she pulled a perfume bottle out of her shell and spritzed Judy with it. It smelt of roses, almost causing Judy to sneeze as the scent of spring was being sprayed on pretty thickly. Thankfully, Wendy stopped before Judy could officially say that she dipped into the realm of "stinky." The Koopa girl got a shoulder purse off of her dresser, one that was white like the polka dots, and draped it over Judy's shoulder. Wendy stepped back, admiring her handiwork, and squeed.

"Ohhh…that is just precious!" She beamed. "You can turn around now; I want you to see it!"

So, Judy did. She looked at herself in the mirror, almost gawking at her reflection. It…it didn't look terrible! Surprisingly, it actually looked pretty good! The pink on her lips and the blue on her face actually kind of complemented each other, almost like a hydrangea bush and a bed of roses had been placed right next to each other in a garden. The mascara, while heavy, was also palatable. Combine all that with dress, bows, and necklace, and Judy…actually felt kind of good about this whole thing.

"Wow. You've…you've got some makeup skills." She internally berated herself; she couldn't believe she was actually complimenting the girl who kidnapped her and held her hostage!

"Thanks!" Wendy stepped back over. "We still have one more thing to do though."

"Really? What's that?" Judy asked.

Wendy reached into her shell again and pulled out a bottle of pink nail polish. "I saved this for last because it'll take the longest." She beamed as she displayed the bottle. "What do you think; do you think this'll look good on your nails?"

Judy studied the color, noticing it looked very similar to the shade of her lips, "Uh…sure."

"Great!" Wendy exclaimed. "Now, let me see your hand!"

Judy hesitated, feeling as though Wendy's glittering eyes felt a little too…invested for Judy's taste. She looked toward the door, tempted to run. However, she thought back to the fact that Wendy had a wand and immediately decided against it. So, she sighed and gave Wendy her hand.

Oh, please let me get home soon, she prayed as Wendy began painting. Please oh please oh PLEASE!
