8. Slaying the beast and long overdue fun

...The scene fades back in to show TME, Atomsk, and Emerald while TME gave the Readers a half lidded look behind his helmet.

"Considering we split this chapter this Intro literally starts right after the outro so all in all… pretty unique intro if I do say so myself right you guys?" TME said while Emerald sweatdrops.

"Yeah... interesting." Emerald said while he gave TME a half lidded look.

"I know nothing." Atomsk said as he used an old tv reference.

"Wow… that's an oldie… anyway in case any forget and as a small reminder, aside from OC's and some plot divergences, this story does go along with the Dead space canon plot, just add some sexy Queen's and other high ranked transformed people which will make some Necromorph's more controlled… point is at this point in the story, Izzy, the genderbent altered version of Issac clark is working with the now transformed soldier Emerald, AKA, the current Necromorph King and has many arm based abilities… best I can say is the Prototype series if you want a good idea about the arm transformations… a berserker named Cedric who may or may not have deeper connections to the Necromorphs then he realizes thanks to the experiments done to his body, Maite, the main love interest of Emerald and she was able to bounce back pretty strongly from what happened with her and the Dragoon, Lillum the currently ruling Necromorph Queen and leader of a Hive, Leonel, the Royal guard and her love interested of the past and present since its been a long time since they say one another before and during the Ishimura incident, the Brute of Lillum's who has a soft spot for Maite and everyone else is either split up from the group at this point or in other parts of the Ishimura like Kendra… point is, its not going to be such a horror show with all these allies I will admit… but that opens up plenty of action filled moments and plenty of lemons galore so to speak… anyway Atomsk, want to take over here before we get into the chapter?" TME said while he grins at Atomsk.

TME said before the scene went to the combined group VS the Leviathan.

Ishimura/ Food area/ Emerald, Cedric (Group 1), Leonel, Lillum, (Group 2), Maite, Brute (Group 3)

The scene showed everyone in their various groups while Emerald had Cedric tied around the waist by a tentacle and pulled him away from an attack from the Leviathan though it did cause him to spin a bit from the pull.

Cedric sweatdrops at this as he fires his weapon as Maite, Izzy and the rest try to cause serious damage to the Leviathan as the Brute protects Maite.

The Leviathan roars while it sent it's massive tentacles at the trio, Emerald pulled Cedric off the floor and threw him to another part of the wall as an anchor point and in some kind of reflex, Cedric pulled Emerald by the tentacle so that he wouldn't get crushed, everyone else side stepped or jumped out of the way of their own tentacles but Emerald noticed something.

"Hey!, Everyone with guns or ranged attacks… when the tentacles attack, aim for the yellow glowing bits on the tentacles!" Emerald yelled out thanks to him floating in the middle of the room and saw a few weak points on the Leviathan's tentacles… nothing yet with the main body but a step in the right direction.

Everyone else seemed to get where Emerald is going with this before they wait for the Leviathan's tentacle to show up before they all aim at the glowing joint.

Thankfully for the ranged group, they were able to take down a few tentacles in no time flat, however when it came to the third tentacle, it did a surprising sweeping motion which knocked many back hard while Emerald lost his grip on Cedric and the Brute managed to block the attack from blowing him and Maite away, however the tentacle did a follow up attack and time seemed to slow when the tentacle aims at Maite.

Though to many peoples shock… the Brute shoved Maite out of the way and took the hit for her...which took out the Brute in one go when it hit it's back which was it's weakpoint… and it just… gave Maite an eyesmile before that happened while Emerald had a stunned look on his face while many who recovered looked shocked as well…

Maite however was shocked that the Brute saved her before she actually looks at the Leviathan with an angry glare.

"You… son of a bitch!" She said which was very shocking to some before they saw Maite firing her gun at it.

Though it seemed unless Maite hit weak points, she was just waisting bullets while the corpse of the brute floats around the room while many just looked stunned for many reasons… mainly from the human soldiers and Izzy when they saw that the Brute actually did a selfless action.

'I can't believe it. Maite was saved by a… Necromorph.' Cedric thought as he still couldn't believe it.

Though to everyone's shock, Emerald used a tentacle arm to bring the corpse to him while shadows covered his eyes when his hair blocked them from view.

"You fucking idiot… doing something like that…" Emerald said lowly while he had a hard to place tone to his voice.

Cedric didn't know what was happening but kept his guard up as he waits for the Leviathan to bring out its next weakpoint.

Though to everyone's surprise, Emerald starts to emit a red aura and his eyes glowed with a red light which got everyone's attention while the Leviathan… looked off… like it was actually nervous?

"This… fucking… going out like that… doing something that I would have done in a heartbeat…" Emerald muttered while more of that bloody mist was seen to be emitting from Emerald as his rage grew… but to everyone else's double shock, Emerald actually pets the corpse on the head.

"Don't worry though… I work for the both of us and protect what we care for… but not without some help…" Emerald said while he drew back his arm and thrusts it through the Brute's chest… grabbing a flesh orb while Emerald lightly pushed the body of the brute upward which slowly sent him downwards as he starts to eat the orb while the Leviathan starts to rumble and its last remaining tentacle got ready to launch at the biggest threat here.

Cedric sees this before he tries to move him and Emerald out of the way.

Though when Emerald ate the Brute's core, his arm shifts out of the tentacle form before Emerald could move and as the tentacle starts to slam down towards Emerald… there was only enough time to shout in fear and worry for Emerald when the Tentacle would seem to crush him like the brute was crushed to death.

"EMERALD!" Everyone shouts with wide eyes.

Though as the attack seemed to hit, everything went deadly quiet while the tentacle tried to pull its arm away… though oddly enough it had a hard time pulling away while Emerald's voice was heard.

"Yeah… I know… lets finish this fucker off and show our woman a good time later to make up for this scare." Emerald said in an odd way while he was seen a moment later… and while the new arm Emerald got was shrunken to fit his frame… somewhat with it being a bit longer then his normal arm… he had the arm of a Brute and thanks to the raw power it had… and add the fact that Emerald had fully working fingers to make it more effective… and Emerald had an iron grip like no other while his feet were pretty much nailed into the metal for a moment which prevented him from floating away.

Everyone was still shocked at what happen but was also confused with the way Emerald spoke.

Though Emerald ignored Izzy for a moment since the Leviathan tried to pull its tentacle free of Emerald's grip… but Emerald just looked at Maite with a gentle smile on his face.

"Don't worry Maite, we'll make sure this fucker doesn't harm you again." Emerald said like he was talking like he was speaking with multiple people speaking at the same time in a sense before he looks back at the Levithan and Emerald removed one foot from one of the indents he made and had that foot step back, gripped the tentacle harder till blood spurts from the Levithan's tentacle which made it roar in pain before Emerald turned and roars while he made a pulling motion with his Brute arm and he just flat out ripped the tentacle from the Leviathan which gave it a pained roar while many yellow cores were seen in the Levithan's mouth which caused Lillum and Leonel to throw some floating explosive that were in the room at that target which caused the explosives to sit inside the Leviathan's mouth?... either way it was a prime target for Cedric and the other ranged fighters of the group.

Though the ranged fighters were still shocked at this turn of events, they immediately open fire at the mouth. Izzy even uses her telekinesis and brought a few explosive tanks to the Leviathan's mouth.

That caused a chain reaction and in no time flat, the Levithan died and it's body went limp and a few seconds later, Kendra's face appeared in front of everyone who had working RIG's and she looked greatly relieved.

"You did it Izzy… everyone. Hammond… Rick… Do you read me? Oxygen levels are returning to Normal."

Though there was no response from the male duo... Not even from Azure and Lavender.

"Damn there no response from anyone else… seems it's just us for now…. Luckily I got a plan to get off this ship! I was able to locate and S.O.S. beacon on the Mining Deck. If you go down there and activate it, we might be able to send a distress call." Kendra said before there was some noises in the background.

"Oh God… don't know how long that door can hold." She said before the screen turn off.

Everyone was quiet before Cedric spoke.

"Whether or not there's a possible way out, we need to get back to Azure and the others pronto." He said while sounding worried.

"Yeah, got to make sure everyone is alright… speaking of which… Maite… are you alright?" Emerald said when he pulled his other foot free of the ground and floats over to Maite to see if she was doing OK or not.

Everyone looked at the pink hair soldier, who was looking at the corpse of the Brute.

"Hey everyone, we're back… air should be back to normal… what the hell happened and where is Hammond?" Emerald said which caused everyone to look at him with worried looks.

"We don't know, one second Rick and Hammond were resting on a few seats, and next we know while we were busy talking amongst ourselves, Hammond was on the tram and the door closed before we could get to him and it sped off, we don't know where he went except in that direction." Azure said while she points to the right when she stands in front of the tram and faced it.

"Yeah, sorry… everything was just so peaceful that we got distracted with small talk and well… talking about things to do later." Lydia said while she blushed a bit.

Everyone blinked though Lavender noticed Maite with the group.

"M-Maite… you're b-back." She said with a happy look on her face.

"Maite!?, wern't you still recovering from what that fucker did you?" Azure said with a worried look on her face after she removed her helmet.

"Yes. Anyway, despite the fact that Hammond disappeared, Kendra told us that there may be a way to get off the ship. She said that if we head to the Mining Deck and activate an S.O.S beacon, someone will come for us."

"Seriously?... I think Hammond was heading that way or at least in that general direction since I managed to see the mining deck on the tram list… you think he heard Kendra since we all had our commlinks all on the same frequency and went to get it?" Azure said which surprised a few.

Cedric and the rest blinked in confusion.

"Wait your com links are on? Then why Kendra said she couldn't get an answer from you?" Cedric said as he still didn't know why Hammond left.

"Well we were wondering if she was talking with you guys and didn't want to interrupt, besides by the time we noticed Hammond, she was trying to get our attention which was… elsewhere like on Hammond rocketing away in a high speed tram." Azure said while she rubbed the back of her head at the blunder.

Cedric sighs a bit.

"Well despite what is happening, at least you guys are okay." He said with a relieved tone.

"Thanks, anyway what now?" Onyx said while Emerald shakes his head and placed a hand on Maite's ass.

"What else, Maite, Lav, Lydia, Squishy Jr, Leonel, and Lillum, head after Hammond or at least to the Mining area and deal with this beacon problem… Azure, Onyx… seems like you two owe Cedric a bit of a reward for helping everyone and Azure… Cedric did keep his cool for the most part so…" Emerald said while he grins at the now slightly blushing Azure.

So now in a nutshell… the Brute now well… is a part of Emerald, as is the same with a few of his other abilities it seems since Emerald ate the cores of other Necromorphs to gain those abilities… heard that in some cases the abilities and minds of the necromorphs are separate but in the Brute's case, all in one package… so its body is pretty much totaled but Emerald gained the Brute's arm and strength to go with it and its mind as well which helped with Maite somewhat… also gave Emerald a new addon for some fun times in bed which if Lillum is having her way with by now… she's pretty much giving our king a long overdue stress relief." Leonel explained while she looks at the four listeners in and on the room.

The Necromorphs were shocked at the story and felt bad that the Brute died but was relieved the Brute still lived… somewhat. It was still confusing on the explanation.

Leonel noticed and just shrugged.

"Look, just think of it like this since Emerald put it well… say you Necromorphs are like buildings or something and your Core is the brain of your body, Emerald eating it is like he's taking you into a higher class apartment of sorts… odd sounding but best I can say or what he can say that makes sense, I mean Necromorphs are technically undead and only if its from a forced mutation like with what happened with me… well… you guys are pretty much just using and recycling dead bodies so it's not like you guys can't just reform or remake a body after awhile." Leonel said while she shrugged her arms again before she looks at the Necromorph trio near her.

"Keep an eye on these three here and make sure they stay safe, I'm going to check on Lydia… and big guy, Lillum went to the Mining area so if you want to go on ahead and help them, no complaints here, but you may want to introduce yourself to Lydia first to show that there are some good Dragoon's here… Onyx will be a work in progress later." Leonel said before she starts walking towards the bedroom door.

The Dragoon was thoughtful before he looks at the trio.

"You heard her. Make sure those three are safe no matter what."

The trio nodded their heads and the Dragoon placed the panels back where they were and left the trio alone with the sleeping trio on the bed while one Necromorph looks at the others.

"So… think it would be in bad taste to ask the Dragoon lady to translate for us to ask for a good time with the other lady?" The Necromproh said which caused the other two to look at one another… right before they used the sides of their stinglers to knock the first flat onto its back from the stupid question while the scene fades to black.
