Chapter 8: New Powers
Three days later…
The cocoons begin to glow. Then a golden light begins to emit from the cocoons. The lights are as bright as looking directly at the sun.
Suddenly, the lights begin to die down. 4 people and a ship begins to come into view. Captain Jake and his crew had just finished the transfer of their new powers. They open their eyes, and are stunned by their new looks.
"Wow guys! We look stunning! The transfer made us look like we are invincible!" Cubby said.
"Oh my! Our tools are now weapons for combat! Looks like we're going to need some time to get used to it. And we look like certain people that we have heard of. Some of them we met before, some we just heard about." Izzy said.
"Guess my hunch about my biological father was correct to some extent. Due to my new look that is. Izzy, your new look reminds me of that time that you were cursed by Queen Isabella's sword. Maybe she's your biological mom?" Jake said.
"Maybe. But we'll never know due to the memory wipe. Cubby, you new look, it looks like Chris the Great Explorer. Maybe he's your biological father?" Izzy said.
"I don't know since everything is forgotten. There's so little info about what happened before the wipe. Skully, you look like Scott the parrot captain. Maybe he's your biological father?" Cubby said.
"Since everyone's memories are wiped. We don't have any other ideas to go based on. I think that we are correct. Bucky's new model and everything fits the description of the Mighty Colossus. Except for the fact that Bucky is much much bigger than it. Maybe it's because they were created by the same ship builder? I also think the prophecy that we read about a couple of days ago is made just for us!" Skully said.
"Oh my great King Neptune! You're right! I was really skeptical about it being true at first, but now that I think about it, it all makes sense now! The power transfer literally changed us according to the prophecy that we read a couple of days ago! I'm pretty sure! Which means we are the key in order to defeat the villains!" Jake said.
"What! So the prophecy is literally talking about us! This means that we are the ones who are gonna save everyone!" everyone said.
"Now, guys. I think we should change our names in this mode. It's because if the others found out, they would freak out. Agreed?" Jake said.
"Yeah." The other crew members said.
"I think I'll go with John." Jake said.
"I think I'll go with Irene." Izzy said.
"I think I'll go with Carlos." Cubby said.
"I think I'll go with Sam." Skully said.
"And instead of the Buccaneer, we'll call Bucky the Great Conqueror." Jake said.
