Chapter 9: The Plan

Previously on CJANLP…

Captain Jake and his crew read about a legendary prophecy. They had a bad dream about the legion. Peter sent a warning that the legion of pirate villains was back. The legion is planning an attack on the mainland. The crew immediately warned everyone about the attack. Everyone is preparing for the attack. They found out that they are the ones who will save all of Neverland. They got big upgrades due to the Forever Tree fusing with them. They now have different identities, looks, personalities, abilities, and tools.

And now…

Captain John (Jake) and his crew are in their legendary power mode. They are trying to come up with a plan.

"So how are we going to fight in public without revealing our identities? If the others noticed that we are missing. Then out of nowhere, another team that is identical to the normal us appears. The others will surely think that they're us. The cat would be out of the bag for sure." Irene (Izzy) said.

"I've been thinking the same thing. Maybe we can show the prophecy to the other captains in our normal power mode. But we'll act like we didn't know what the prophecy meant. Then, we'll see how they react. Then, from there we'll come up with a plan. I was thinking of repeating what happened with the Mighty Colossus. Except for the fact that we'll sink our new ship model. Then we'll pretend to pull it up and explain its origins. And making it sound like that it had a legendary team sailing it, but due to something that happened it's now a legend that no one believes in anymore. Until we pull it up that is." John (Jake) said.

"That might work. But won't everyone notice that our normal ship is gone? I don't think that it'll work. I have another idea: we'll show the prophecy in our normal power mode. But we'll activate our new powers at the most hopeless time. If anybody suspects anything, we'll just say that we only are needed in the most desperate times." Carlos (Cubby) said.

"I think that's a better idea, Carlos. Since we can't reveal who we're. And we have to fight the legion of villains. I think that is the best way to go." Sam (Skully) (The Great Conqueror (Bucky) rings also) said.

"Ok. We'll follow Carlos's plan. Let's go back to our normal power mode. Everyone is probably looking for us. When we see everyone, we'll just say that we were on a special mission." John (Jake) said.

Everyone deactivated LPM (short for legendary power mode). They started to head back to the beach. When they arrived, they were greeted by everyone.

"Where were you guys? What were you guys doing? You guys have been gone for four days already. We were so worried about you guys! We were doing preparations for the big battle. But we feel that it's still not enough. So we decided to contact Captain Chen. Since he fought a lot of hard and difficult battles before. He gave us some pointers on what to do." Captain Flynn said.

"We were on a special mission. It was partly due to a bad dream that we had about the legion. So what's the plan? The villains are getting pretty tough. We might not have enough help. I think we should also get Captain Colossus's help. Since every single villain teaming up can be a big battle." Jake said.

"Ok, we'll contact him for extra backup. Just in case something goes wrong. So how are we going to defeat the ultimate evil team? Do you guys have a plan?" the other captains asked.

"Skully, go grab the book where the prophecy came from. We found something that we think might interest you guys. It's a crazy thing that we found. It might give us some insight into what might happen next." Jake said.

Skully flew back to the crew's hideout. Grabbed the book that contains the prophecy. Flew back to the beach on the mainland.

"Here's the book you ask for, Captain." Skully said. He gives the book to Jake.

Everyone gathered around Jake and the book. They read the prophecy. They went and read it one at a time. Once everyone had read the prophecy, they started to discuss it.

"This is really interesting and crazy. It's so exciting! The book states that a team will save everyone. I wonder who they are?" Beatrice Le Beak said.

The crew giggled at the question. Then the giggles quickly stopped. Everyone was so focused on who the prophecy was for, that they didn't notice them giggling at all.

"We don't know who's going to fulfill the prophecy. But all that we know is that the team consists of 5 people. And that they are excellent teammates." Jake said.

"Ok. We'll keep an eye out for the mysterious team. And in the meantime we'll keep practicing. You guys do the same. By the way, another letter from Peter came. The letter told us that the siege is going to happen on the next full moon." the other captains said.

"Ok. We'll keep an eye out for it too. We'll start the prep and practice tomorrow." the crew said.

They said goodbye. Then everyone headed back home. Little did they know, "a perfect storm" is about to begin…
