Chapter 10: New Technology and Integration
The next day, the crew started practice and preparation for the big battle and the future. They first got started with a surveillance system using magic as a source. They are experimenting with modern day technology with magic as a source of power just like electrical power.
"This should work well with everything. The surveillance system is powered by magic, just like everything else is. Hopefully we'll be able to surveillance everything from our hideout." Jake said.
"Hopefully. Technology and magic might work well together. We are still experimenting with a combination of modern day and magical elements. But if we succeed, it'll be a big improvement for everyone." Cubby said.
"Yeah. It'll be a big improvement in the history of Neverland. Since we're industrializing things that we are using. We are also making things better for the people." Izzy said.
"It's basically an industrial revolution in our world. With everything becoming more interconnected, we might be able to incorporate the internet into our lives using magic as our source. This would change the world that we have now. In the real world, the internet has already been introduced. Remember when Wendy came last time? She told us that everything is digital now. I think that we are still in the past. We need to catch up to the modern days." Skully said.
"I think we're good to go, let's see if it'll work." Jake said. The crew activates the surveillance system. "Yes! The system is working! Guys, I think that we might have done it!" Jake declared. The crew now are the first peoples that have successfully integrated modern day technology to Neverland.
"Now let's do some upgrades to the hideout and equip a emergency defense system too. We could upgrade Bucky with a radar system to see incoming attacks or nearby ships. Since we already integrated a surveillance system, why not integrate other modern day technologies too?" Cubby said.
"You mean like modern day battle equipment? I just don't think we are ready for that yet. I think it's way too dangerous for us. Although we could add a security system to the hideout. This could help us keep invaders out." Izzy said.
"Yeah. I agree with Izzy. It's way too dangerous for us. Besides, it's illegal to do this as kids. We need to be at least an adult to get permission. We need to follow the laws." Skully (Bucky rings also) said.
"Ok. We'll upgrade the security system. We'll add a radar system. But we won't do anything else. Is that fine?" Jake said.
"Ok, then. We'll just do that. We could add a fingerprint scanner for the surveillance system. Or more security cameras to make sure nobody except for who we trust can get in." Cubby said.
"Agreed," said the other three crew members. "We'll get the technology, and continue from there. It's gonna be a long day for us."
The crew immediately got to work. They started to upgrade the systems.
Meanwhile, the villains are starting their plan. They are under the sea gathering supplies for a spell.
"Perfect. This will make everyone obey our commands. And then we'll be unstoppable!" Lord Fathom said.
"The spell is gonna hypnotize everyone into thinking that we're the heroes. Then when everyone is least expected we'll show our true colors! Then they'll feel so hopeless and grim that they'll surrender to us!" the Grim Buccaneer said.

The villains laugh outrageously. Peter looks at them in horror.
"Hopefully, everyone will survive this crisis. Jake and his crew, I'm counting on you guys." Peter thought to himself. "We'll need everyone to defeat the legion. Hopefully, they got what it takes to defeat them."
