Chapter 11: New powers practice
The next day, Captain Jake and his crew finally finished the upgrades. They are now practicing for the battle. They decided to practice with their LPM today.
"Come on, guys. We need to build stamina here. Keep going guys!" John (Jake) said.
The crew quickly slashed the targets. They were a little bit tired, but they still got up.
"Good job, guys. The more we practice, the faster we'll get used to it. Now let's continue." John (Jake) said.
The crew kept practicing almost like a military attack. The crew is practicing against moving targets.
"I'm tired out. It's so difficult for those who are backup support to become main fighters. Especially us." Carlos (Cubby) said.
"I know right. It's really hard for us, but we'll get through it together. Because we are a team. We'll keep Neverland safe. Trust us." Irene (Izzy) said.
"We'll do this no matter what. Even though it's hard at first. But soon it'll get easier." Sam (Skully) said.
With this encouragement, everyone gets back up. They continued practicing.
"Keep going guys. You guys are doing great. Come on! Go, go, go!" John (Jake) said.
The crew continued practicing against dummies. They are still a little bit inexperienced. But they are slowly getting the hang of it.
"Let's switch things up. This time we'll practice in the air." John (Jake) said.
"Ok. Let's go." the others said. They took flight and started to practice. They are now practicing against in air targets.
Meanwhile on Colossus Island, Captain Colossus got the letter from the other captains. He looked at the prophecy. Then he started thinking about who would be the "mysterious team."
"Hmm, a mysterious team that revealed their past? I don't think that the mysterious team would like to be revealed yet. But I can think of a team that would fit perfectly for the prophecy. If my hunch is correct, Captain Jake and his crew are the chosen ones due to the fact that they never knew who their biological families are." he thought to himself. "If Captain Jake and his crew are truly the chosen ones. Then that means that everyone is counting on them to save the land. Which means they have to keep the new powers a secret. This way everyone won't freak out. It's because it's suddenly revealed that they gain new powers. Everyone would be surprised and astonished too. Then, maybe the other captains won't work with them anymore due to the fact that they can handle everything by themselves now and revealing the big truth."
After realizing that, Captain Colossus started to worry about it. He never thought that everything is so interconnected and everything was starting to make sense. He started to walk back and forth.
"Which in turn, means that Jake is my biological son since the prophecy states that they'll find their origins. Also, we faced the same villains (Lord Fathom and the Grim Buccaneer) and Jake found my treasure. But I don't think it's the correct time for the big reveal. I think I need to write a letter to them, it might not be what they wanted. But asking them what happened might be the best option. We might need to work together to figure out how to reveal their true stories." he continued to think.
Captain Colossus immediately started the letter. He's still unsure whether or not to ask. When he finished the letter, he decided that he would ask just in case.
