Chapter 14: The New Plan
Several days after the vision, Captain Colossus came to the crew's hideout to discuss a new plan. They have been updating everything to each other. They are now discussing the vision that the crew saw.
"What! This is too much info, even for me! So, the truth is that I'm your biological dad, Jake. I didn't expect this. This is way too crazy for any of us. How were you guys able to see that?" Captain Colossus said.
"We think that it's because our new powers reacted with the picture. We saw the picture that you sent us. Then the next thing we knew, we passed out. We think that we passed out because the information is too much for us. And then the vision happened." Jake said.
"I think we're gonna have to figure out another idea for the big reveal. We have to keep the secret just between us no matter what. When we're in public, we'll call each other in a formal way. When we're in private, we'll call each other in an informal way. This'll minimize the chance of others figuring it out." Captain Colossus said.
"So, what's the new plan, dad? We could do the same thing that happened with your ship. Except for the fact that we'll sink our ship's new model. There's some pros and cons to this. Do you think that'll work?" Jake said.
"It's complicated, son. Some pros might be that you guy's relationship with me won't be spoiled, and that the other captains would be really surprised that you guys are the ones chosen. Some cons might be that for the others it might be too much to take in, and that you guy's powers are getting revealed. But it's a lot better than revealing our relationship. If our relationship is revealed, everyone will go crazy." Captain Colossus said.
"Yeah. Your dad's got a point there, Jake. If the relationship gets revealed, everyone will go crazy and freak out. We better not reveal our relationship with your dad." Izzy said.
"Okay. We'll just do the new plan that involves our ship sinking. Besides, I think that our regular powers would be defeated by the legion anyways. Remember what happened before when we fought Lord Fathom, we lost the first round too. I think that the battle will take two rounds, since it has Lord Fathom involved." Jake said.
"I think you're right, Jake. Now that I think about it, we did lose the first round, if it wasn't for your sword lifting your dad's ship, we would all be doomed. It would be really terrible to lose, imagine everything being destroyed." Cubby said.
"Yeah, I'm still glad that happened. Everything would be a really big mess and the villains would have control of Neverland. Also, we wouldn't survive it, we would either be destroyed or enslaved. If that hasn't happened, that is." Skully said.
"Yeah. It would be super scary. Everyone that we know is captured. It makes me feel scared just thinking about what would happen. Glad we didn't have to face that." Izzy said.
"Ok. Now, let's discuss the spell that the legion is planning to cast. What kind of spell are they planning? I think that they're planning to hypnotize everyone into thinking something crazy." Jake said.
They began discussing what the legion was planning. They also discussed how they are going to fulfill the plan. In the end, they decided that in the first round of the battle they wouldn't use the extra powers. Then after the ship is defeated, a speech begins. At the end of the speech, the new powers are revealed.
