Chapter 18: The Corruption

Previously on CJANLP…

Captain Jake and his crew read about a legendary prophecy. They had a bad dream about the legion. Peter sent a warning that the legion of pirate villains was back. The legion is planning an attack on the mainland. The crew immediately warned everyone about the attack. Everyone is preparing for the attack. They found out that they are the ones who will save all of Neverland. They got big upgrades due to the Forever Tree fusing with them. They now have different identities, looks, personalities, abilities, and tools.

Captain Jake and his crew then showed everyone the prophecy. Everyone started to think about who the "mysterious team" is. Everyone also decided to enlist Captain Colossus for help. The crew started their new powers practice. Captain Colossus found out the truth about the "mysterious team". He decided to send a letter to the crew to confirm his thoughts. When the crew saw the letter, they decided that they would explain everything to Captain Colossus. After explaining everything, they decided to keep in contact. The crew then saw a vision of what happened in the past, which confirmed who their biological parents were. Meanwhile, the legion is starting their plan by performing a spell that manipulates the other captains' memories. Although the spell worked, the crew quickly reversed the spell.

And now…

The legion now has all the magic artifacts fully restored. They're now trying to find a way to hypnotize Captain Hook. Into doing their evil biddings that is. Their plan is to turn anyone who stands in their way into stone, ships included.

"How about a spell to hypnotize Captain Hook? We could do a freezing all feeling spell. I think it'll work because the spell will make his personality as cold as ice and won't remember who he is. Then, we'll make him join us, and make him hold the Doom Stone." Shiverjack said.

"That's perfect! Since those puny kids can't help him. It'll also make him stay on our side for much much longer. What are the ingredients for the spell?" Lord Fathom said.

"All we need to do is get the mirror in an icy cave. We also need a picture of who we want to hypnotize. Then, we'll cast the spell on Captain Hook and ask him to be our teammate!" Shiverjack said.

"Perfect! We'll just grab the mirror and we'll be all set! We'll be unstoppable! We'll be ruling over everyone!" the Grim Buccaneer said.

The villains laugh outrageously. They headed for the mainland. The legion immediately started to find the mirror of ice.

Meanwhile, Captain Jake and his crew are talking to Captain Colossus in his island fortress. They are now discussing the villains' plans. Everyone seems very worrisome about the situation.

"As you know, dad. The legion is planning an attack on the mainland. But just recently, we heard the villains' plans straight from them. They already have the artifacts rejuvenated. They are now planning to corrupt Captain Hook into helping them by giving him the Doom Stone. We also heard that they are planning to reawaken the Strake." Jake said.

"That's bad news, son. It looks like we'll work all together to defeat the legion. We'll need everyone and everybody to siege victory. You guys contact everyone, and tell everyone to get ready. We'll handle the Strake together, since you guys have your 'secret ultimate weapons'. I don't think it'll be too hard for the both of us, since we faced them already. But gather everyone, we need to let them know what the legion is planning." Captain Colossus said.

"Will do, dad. We'll definitely defeat them. Even if it's the last thing we do! It's time to teach them why they don't wanna mess with us anymore." Jake said.

Everyone then went home. For the rest of the day, everyone got ready for the big battle. The crew also warned everyone about the villains' plans. Little did they know, what's coming will be the most intense, brutal, toughest, and dangerous situation ever to happen to Neverland…

Meanwhile, the legion gathered all the supplies for the spell. They found the mirror. They also took a picture of Captain Hook. Now they are getting ready to cast the spell.

"Okay. We got everything we needed. It's time to corrupt Captain Hook into doing what we say! We'll take over everything once it's done!" Shiverjack said.

"Yes. It's finally time to get our revenge on those puny kids. We'll take over everything! We'll take over the land and sea!" the Grim Buccaneer said.

The villains laugh outrageously. They then recited the spell. The mirror glows, fusing with the picture. A blue beam of light hits Captain Hook's hook turning it blue. He begins to act as if he is coldhearted and brutal.

"I don't want you guys to be here anymore! You guys are fired, and don't ever come back! And I have no friends except for the legion." Captain Hook said.

"What's wrong, Captain? I've never heard you say that before. Are you okay?" Smee said.

"I'm fine! Just leave! I don't work with anybody else but the bad guys. Starting from now on I won't help out anyone who's working for good." Captain Hook yelled.

Captain Hook then leaves by himself. He is now headed towards the villains' lair. The villains laugh, because the spell has worked.

"Oh dear. We better get the others to help. Especially Jake and his crew." Sharky said.
