Chapter 19: We Knew They Were Trouble
Captain Hook's crew immediately finds everyone on the beach. They told everyone that Captain Hook had been corrupted. Everyone except for Jake and his crew (since they overheard the villains' plans already) were shocked. They immediately started discussing a plan to free Captain Hook from the legion.
"Yikes. This just gives us more trouble, since we didn't create a backup plan. That's not good news for anyone at all. Now that the legion got Captain Hook, they can give him the Doom Stone. Which means we can't fight the villains at all. Without some of us being turned to stone, that is. What are we going to do?" Captain Flynn said.
"The spell that the legion cast on Captain Hook might help us get him back. I think they used the evil ice heart spell. It stops the person from feeling any emotion. But we'll have to see what the legion is planning next. Meanwhile, you guys continue prepping for the big battle. I have a feeling that it'll take everyone and everything we have to seize victory." Beatrice Le Beak said.
"I wouldn't worry if I were you. I think that the 'mysterious team' is going to take care of the villains. If we don't succeed, that is. I also think that the prophecy is not a reliable source. It's because everyone knows their past. Although the prophecy states that a team will discover their pasts. It's just so confusing! We don't know how to approach the prophecy anymore!" Captain Frost said in a frustrating voice.
"The prophecy is gonna come true. It's because some people had already figured out what the prophecy means. But the 'team' is currently in hiding. They won't use their new powers until it's the right time. The 'mysterious team' could be anyone of us. We won't know until it's the right time. Until then, we can't eliminate any choices that could be the solution. We have to consider all possible options in this situation to successfully defeat the legion." Jake said.
"Oh? Some people have figured out who the 'team' are already? Even before us? Looks like the prophecy is coming true. But the 'team' is working in secret. We just have to keep looking for clues. I think that eventually the 'mysterious team' will reveal themselves. I just know it will happen soon. Meanwhile, let's plan for what to do next. I think that we should just attack the villains when they come over next time." Captain Flynn said.
"I don't think so, guys. I think it is best to wait for them to challenge us. It's because Captain Hook now has the Doom Stone. It could easily turn us to stone at any time or point in the battle. Also, we don't have a way to break the spell on you guys if it happens. Last time, Wendy kissed Peter and Captain Hook to break the spell. But this time, Wendy isn't here for us. How are we going to break the spell?" Jake said.
"You got a point there, Jake. There's no way to break the spell if anybody gets hit. I don't think it's possible to break the spell on the affected people. What do we do then?" Izzy said.
"I'm not sure. But we'll have to wait and see. Meanwhile, you guys continue practicing and preparing for the upcoming attack. We'll do the same here. We'll also have to make everyone meet to discuss what to do." Jake said.
Everyone then went home. Everyone had a very worrisome feeling. For the rest of the day, everyone continued practicing and preparing for the ultimate war between good and evil.
