Chapter 21: The Penultimate Battle
On the day of the battle, everyone is gathered on the beach. Everyone is feeling very nervous and really nerve wrecking. Some even feel afraid due to the Doom Stone.
"Is everyone ready? The villains are going to attack any minute now. I sure hope this'll only take one round. We can and will definitely defeat the villains." Cubby said.
"I don't think that we'll only have one round. Since the Doom Stone can turn anything to stone. Besides, we also have the Strake to deal with too. It'll definitely not be an easy day for us." Izzy said.
"I believe that everything is and will be alright. We'll definitely defeat them. It's time to show them why they would always lose. It's because we are fighting for our home, and for the good of everyone." Peter said.
"Here they come! Everyone ready? It's time for us to end the legion for good! Everyone get in position!" Jake exclaimed.
Everyone gets in position. The legion is in the distance getting ready to attack, and everything seems to freeze for a second. Nobody did anything for at least a minute. It was so silent that heartbeats could be heard.
Then, a magic blast from the legion hits the ground on the beach. Everyone immediately started to attack. The legion immediately started to counterattack. The battle has officially begun.
Grunting and shouting can be heard everywhere on the beach. Captain Jake is dealing with Captain Hook, since only Jake's sword has the resistance to the Doom Stone. It's also because Wendy isn't here, which in turn makes things even more difficult. Since there's no one to break the spell if someone else gets hit.
Captain Colossus is dealing with Lord Fathom and the Grim Buccaneer. It's because they are his old rivals. Also, the Mighty Colossus is needed to defeat Lord Fathom and his animal pals.
"Hurry, Captain Hook. Turn all the enemy's ships to stone. Then, there is no way to stop us! They'll be so hopeless to the point that they shall surrender! Do it NOW!" Lord Fathom and the Grim Buccaneer exclaimed.
Under the legion's orders, Captain Hook avoided Jake's attacks. He runs over to the ships, and hits them with the Doom Stone. All the ships turned to stone, and began to sink.
"Oh no! All the ships have been turned to stone! What are we going to do? No one can defeat Lord Fathom without a ship, since the battle is on the sea! This is hopeless, we are going to lose!" Everyone except for the legion exclaimed.
"This is the end for you guys, Captain Jake and his teammates! Say goodbye to everything! A new age has begun, villain's rule age!" the legion said with an outrageous laugh.
Everyone watches in horror. Their worst nightmare has come true. They have lost the first round of the battle. They immediately ran away to regroup and think of a new plan. Little did they know, what's coming up will change their views on Captain Jake and his crew forever…
