Chapter 23: The Final Battle (Part 1)
Meanwhile, the legion is taking over everything and everyone. They are planning to make everyone their servants. They are just about to reawaken the Strake.
"Finally, the time has come. For us to take over everything that is. We are unstoppable together! Everyone will be hopeless, and miserable under our rules!" Lord Fathom said.
"It's prime time to control the public system into a dictatorship. Only we will be able to decide on what's good and what's bad! We'll be unstoppable and we'll be the only ones who can decide on everything!" the Grim Buccaneer said.
"Not so fast!" somebody said from behind them.
The legion turned around, and they saw who they expected the least. Captain Jake and his teammates catched up to the villains. They are now in control of the situation. Due to their "ultimate weapons" activating, they can instantly get to where the villains are.
"You guys think that this is over? Well, think again! We told you guys so many times that you guys should not mess with us. But you guys just don't get it, do you guys? Well, it's time to end this once and for all!" the crew states loudly.
"You guys wanna battle? Well, bring it on! You guys will lose no matter what! We'll take over everything!" the legion exclaimed.
Lord Fathom mind controls the animals to attack the ship. Animals begin to try and get to the ship. At the same time, Shiverjack shoots beams of magic to try and freeze the ship.
"Izzy, is the forcefield ready? Everyone, fire cannons as of now. Bucky, try and avoid being hit by the animals and those ice beams. Cubby, activate cloaking mode. That should keep the villains at bay for a while." Jake said.
The ship turns invisible to the villains. Now the villains have no target to attack.
"Where did those blasted pirates go? I can't attack if there's no target. Lord Fathom, go and awake the Strake. Then we'll think of another plan." Shiverjack said.
When the crew heard this, they immediately activated their ship's submarine mode. Everyone was surprised by this.
"How is this possible? You guys have a sub mode for the ship too? Coolest thing ever guys. Now we can fight underwater." everyone said to the crew.
"Thanks guys. Bucky always had one, even before this. We just don't use it very frequently." the crew explained.
"Oh, ok. I didn't know that the feature existed. What do you know?" Peter said with a strug.
"Now you know, Peter. Look up ahead, Lord Fathom! It's time to give these villains a taste of their own medicine. Fire cannonballs, everyone." Jake said.
Everyone quickly fired cannons at the trident that Lord Fathom is holding. Lord Fathom is surprised by the sudden attack.
"You puny kids have ruined my plans! How dare you! Take this, Captain Jake and his team!" He sent a blast at the team. "Finally, we're here. It's the end of the road for you guys! No one will stop us now!" Lord Fathom said.
"Oh no. Now, what do we do? We're too late. Lord Fathom is about to awaken the Strake again! We'll never be able to stop it again." exclaimed everyone except for the crew.
"Bucky, head up immediately! It looks like we'll have to stop the villains on the sea. We'll win this, no matter what happens!" Jake exclaimed.
Bucky headed for the surface. The crew then converted it back into ship mode. Under the sea, Lord Fathom inserted his trident in the correct spot on the door. The Strake is now reawakened…
