When she woke up in the hospital, she found Amon sitting in a corner chair sleeping, it must have been pretty late since it was dark outside. Robin was still a little fazed by the drugs, she felt a pinch, so she threw her blankets off and raised her gown up, there was a bandage around her leg. Robin threw her head back into the pillow, sighing,

"I should have listened to him." Robin staring up at the ceiling.

"Perhaps you will listen to me from now on." Amon growled, Robin looked up and over at him, she let out a sigh.

"So, come on let me have it." Robin rolling her eyes, he shook his head,

"You wouldn't listen, so you have to deal with the consequences, that is punishment enough for you." Amon getting you and slowly walking over to her.

"What, another month?" Robin subconsciously licking her lips as he walked over, still in the t-shirt and shorts, she saw a little blood on his shirt. Amon saw her eyes looking at something and he looked down,

"Yeah, it's yours. Not only another month of sitting alone in the apartment but after that you are on light duty for a full month, so it means you'll be behind the desk at the office." Amon carefully raising the head of her bed,

"Tell me when I have it where you want it." Amon stated,

"That's good, thank you Amon, you know for not leaving me." Robin whispered, Amon pulled the blankets back over her.

I'm your partner, partners don't leave behind their partner when she is down, even though she was too bullheaded to listen." Amon huffed, he kissed her head as he could tell the drugs pulling her under again.

"I hope you sleep tonight." Amon concerned for her,

"I will never leave your side, Amon." Robin mumbled as she was finally unconscious again. Amon stared at her,

"Boss is going to have a field day." Amon putting that call out of his mind for now. Morning came and Robin's body let her sleep past 6 am, Amon had fallen asleep in the chair with his arms crossed, the doctor came in, he unbandaged her old bandage and checked the stitches and put some more ointment on it to help it heal faster and to keep infection out. Robin groaned, Amon jerked up and came over,

"It's okay, I was changing the bandage out." the doctor explained.

"Hn." Amon looking at Robin, luckily, she fell asleep again. When she woke up again, she heard faint screaming over a phone,

"Sir, I tried to talk her out of it, but she insisted." Amon closing his eyes,

~It's my fault he is in trouble.~ Robin thought.

"A two-week suspension, sir all due…" Amon being cut off by a dial tone.

"A two fuckin' week suspension?" Amon hissed as he put the phone away, Robin quickly closed her eyes when he turned around.

"I know your awake Robin, the heart monitor ratted you out." Amon explained,

"So, you got suspended for two weeks over this?" Robin surprised.

"Our boss is an asshole Robin, I guess at least I can make sure you stay in bed for at least two weeks." Amon explained,

"What about showers? What if I need to go to the toilet?" Robin asked trying to make light in the conversation.

"You can't shower with that now, it's sponge baths and bedpans for you." Amon grunted out,

"I was joking." Robin smiling a little,

"I wasn't." Amon crossing his arms. Robin sighed,

"Your lucky not to have to have surgery on it again." Amon explained in his cold tone. Robin just closed her eyes,

~I should have listen to him, now he is never not going to be pissed with me.~ Robin letting a few tears from her eyes.

"Amon, I'm really sorry I got you in trouble." Robin whispered, Amon glanced over at her, he was stunned to find she was crying over it,

~When you're like this it makes it hard to stay mad at you, even if it is your own fault.~ Amon thought to himself, he walked over, slowly Robin raised her head to look at him,

"You have got to start listening to me better. I know what it feels like to be stuck in bed and not able to get up. The doctor also said your abdomen wound will be sore as well, it almost broke open as well." Amon grunted.

"When can we leave?" Robin asked in a quiet voice,

"I think the doctor is saying tomorrow. He wanted to give those wounds time to heal before sending you home." Amon explained.

"What's with you and hospitals?" Amon asked,

"When I was in the hospital and depleted of everything and under for surgery, I saw my guys. We were laughing and cutting up like the attack never happened. Right before I woke up, they thanked me and told me I had to be brave, and that they all loved me. I had no idea what they were talking about.

It never felt like a dream to me. I woke up and they were gone, I overheard our specialist say that they had been manipulated into killing each other. He said that information was never meant for me to know." Robin whispered, he knitted his eyebrows together,

"What is so bad about that, sounds like they came back to tell you goodbye." Amon shrugged. Robin lifted her head from her pillow,

"Because I was in a coma, for a month. They said that everything else was fine, that is just seemed like I didn't want to wake up. Do you know what it's like to dream about the guys you love just sitting around like a normal day of the week and wake up to find it was all a lie that your mind had told you?

To find out that you and one other guy were the only ones who made it out of a pit of Hell?" Robin harshly growled out. Amon just stared at her, she laid her head back on the pillow and stared at the ceiling.

"I know you were just brought to us, and I haven't had the chance to work with you in the field yet, but I am pretty content that you are here, and I am not looking to get rid of you anytime soon." Amon explained as he brushed a lock of hair from her face.

"You're just saying that because I'm an experienced hunter." Robin's eyes feeling heavy,

"That is part of it, but you keep me on my toes as well." Amon bending over to whisper in her ear.

"Does…Does this mean we are friends?" Robin asked, Amon nodded,

"Yeah, we are friends Robin, how could we not be?" Amon smirked as he hovered over her, she closed her eyes and smiled.

"I could use some friends, I have lost all my other ones." Robin fighting the pull of sleep. Amon kissed her forehead,

"They never left your side. Go to sleep, I'll be here." Amon whispered.

"Mkay." Robin finally giving in and going to sleep. Amon stood there just studying her face, her blonde hair that still had a hint of red stain in it where the blood had stained it. He pulled a chair over and gently touched the strands that were red.

"You bled out with your guys." Amon trying to wrap his head around that fact, he carefully picked up her hand that didn't have the IV in it. Her small feminine hands, chipped nails and dry skin,

"You are one of the guys, aren't you. I bet you couldn't even apply makeup hm?" Amon mumbled as he stroked her hand softly, he turned her hand so her palm was facing up,

"Hm, you have some calluses on your palms." Amon looking at her, she seemed content in her sleep, he just hoped it turned out to be a restful one. Slowly his fingers started drawing patterns on her arm and hand.

"In the short month you have been with us you have brought me out of my shell, at least when I am around you. I cannot really describe the feeling but there is some spark of a connection. I don't know if you feel the same." Amon mumbled, he wasn't expecting an answer, she was under drugs that were working itself out of her system, though she had been given a strong pain killer for her leg.

"Feel it." Robin mumbled in her sleep, Amon glanced up at her and gave her a hint of a smile,

"Shh, sleep Robin, I'm still here." Amon whispered, he felt her squeeze his hand her sleep. Amon gently rubbed her hand with his thumb.
