Morning came and Robin found an empty bed when she woke,
"Amon?" Robin freaking out. The bathroom door in his room opened, Amon was putting his button up black shirt on,
"Amon, you shouldn't be up!" Robin running to him. Her small hands pushed back his shirt to see the large bandage, they both stopped moving,
"Amon…I-I…I'm so sorry…" Robin being cut off,
"It is not your fault." Amon grabbing her small wrists.
"Look at me Robin." Amon demanded, she shook her head,
"I said look at me." Amon growled, slowly she raised her head to lock eyes with him.
"It's not your fault. You could not have known, you got me to the hospital in record time, you reacted without freaking out. Thank you for saving my life." Amon explained,
"But I…" Robin being cut off again,
"I won't hear any of it, so stop okay." Amon grunted out. Robin hung her head and nodded,
"Come on, lets get out of here." Amon walking out of the room with his trench coat draped over his arm like nothing ever happened. Amon signed the release papers, and they walked out,
"How the fuck did you get me here without wrecking?" Amon asked.
"Because its not the first time I have drove." Robin opening the door to the passenger's side,
"Give me the keys." Amon growled,
"Sit, I am driving you home and you are getting waited on hand and foot because I won't have you popped a stitch." Robin explained. Amon sat down in the passenger's side as Robin buckled him in and shut the door. Robin smirked, she could hear him already grumbling as she walked to the driver's side, she got in and buckled and drove them home.
"You sit, you are going to lean on me as we walk up the stairs." Robin cutting the car off and jumping out and running around and opening his door and unbuckling him he carefully stood up and Robin got his arm around her shoulder and helped him up the stairs. She unlocked the door and helped him up the bedroom, slowly he sat on the bed, Robin got his boots off and his socks.
"Are you hungry? I could get some food from Harry's or make you something." Robin explained, he rubbed his face and ran his hand through his hair, it pulled his stitches and he winced.
"You need to stop playing 'mother hen'. I'm fine and if I don't return to work today the boss will be pissed." Amon growled angrily,
"I don't know what 'mother hen' means." Robin replied with a confused look on her face. Amon shook his head,
"And you aren't going anywhere, that blade nicked one of your ribs, the doctor already told our boss, and you are staying home until Monday." Robin explained.
"Boss is going to have a field day." Amon grumbled,
"The doctor said to change the bandage out every few hours. Go ahead and take your pants off, I'm going to dig for some bandages in the cabinets." Robin explained, she went into his bathroom and shut the door, he took his pants off and got the blankets pulled down and carefully got situated on the bed.
~Her jacket, it must be ruined.~ Amon thought, Robin came out, she had half of a box of large bandages with her as well as some ointment. Robin's phone rang, she saw it was Harry,
"Hey, what's up? Really, that's great, it will work better than the ointment. Alright, I'm coming now." Robin throwing the phone onto his bed and jogging to the door.
"Do you know how to apply this stuff?" Harry asked,
"Yeah. Warm water to the skin and gently press the herbal mixture on the wound. I figured Amon wouldn't have any of the stuff here. How do you know about it?" Robin asked,
"I've known about it through my father. I don't think Amon will like it. I have tried to get him to use it several times but…" Harrying being interrupted,
"He is going to use it this time." Robin having a bowl of warm water and the herbal mix.
"No, I won't!" Amon growled out,
"You are going to listen to me now. Since you tried taking care of me and made me finally listen to you, you aren't going to fight me on this. This stuff works well, two days, three at most and you are healed." Robin giving the bowl to Harry to hold, her fingers unbuttoned his shirt and opened it, revealing his rock-hard pecks and his abs, she found the bandage. Very gently and as careful as she could she took the old bandage off, once she saw the stitches her jaw muscles flinched, she hesitated for a moment.
"Robin, shall we continue?" Harry snapping her out of her head space,
"Um, oh yes of course." Robin turning to put her palm in the water. Amon locked onto her face, trying to take his mind off of the fact they were about to use witchcraft to heal his wound. Harry gave her the herbal mixture and spread it out onto her wet palm, Robin gently but firmly pressed on his stitches. Amon pressed his head back into the pillow, his forehead vein and neck veins popping out as he groaned, the herbal mixture making a sizzling noise, almost as if it were burning his flesh together.
"Its almost over." Robin staring at his closed eyes, she knew what this crap felt like and she didn't blame him for not liking this method, but it would heal his wound in two days instead of having to wait for almost a whole week.
"Shh, its almost over." Robin whispered, when two minutes passed Robin took her hand away and grabbed a damp cloth and wiped the herbal mixture onto his wound and placed the bandage over it. She glanced up at him finding that he was out like a light,
"Alright there is enough to last two more times if you can get him to do it." Harry explained, Robin wiped her hand clean.
"Thank you, Harry, I really appreciate for all you have done for us." Robin bowed as she walked him to the door.
"Its nothing, just take care of him while he is down." Harry giving her a small smile, she nodded as she shut the door behind him and locked it.
